OK I will try to give The Windmill a fair review ... there were some positives ... but sadly overall it was a very poor experience. I had made a booking for a platinum dining experience reservation and the table was in a prime spot (but we'll come back to that later). No queuing at all as we had made a reservation ... we were shown to the bar as the table wasn't ready (no problem) and we order a couple of very nice cocktails ... expensive yes ... but I wouldn't expect anything else (all I'd say is be prepared) After about 20 mins we were shown to our table and it was just down from the stage so we though we were in for a brilliant show. Now to the show ... well 5 mins of acts (or so) with a 15 mins break in between each act is what you'll get ... do not expect 'The Windmill' to compare with some other venues in London offering similar theatrical dining. The apéritifs came and were stunning ... top notch cuisine ... The starters came quickly and were equally stunning ... very nice. The same cannot be said for the main course ... we waited and waited and watched people who has sat down after us get the main course. The show continued and our table was asked to be moved backwards due to one very talented act performing on the main floor of the theatre ... no problem (despite not yet having our main course). I was also told I would have to stand for this section of the show (which seemed very strange) The host, who can only be described a foul mouthed drag queen who's every other word was 'mother-f.....' assisted with 'moving' the table then knocked over my wife's full glass of wine. Whilst appearing to be slightly apologetic nothing else was done by either the staff or management. My wife then had to sit in a wine soaked skirt for the rest of the evening and also has a dry cleaning bill for her new corset bought for the occasion. There was no offer to replace the glass of wine and no offer of assistance. Eventually the main course of breaded chicken arrived however they had forgotten the side vegetable dish we had ordered. The breaded chicken was dry and overcooked (and like others have said very sub standard) and after reminding them of the broccoli side dish, that eventually arrived and somehow managed to be raw and burnt at the same time. The BANG London crew were in venue and it seemed that the host was only concerned about impressing them. All the table and bar staff were fantastic. We won't be returning and I couldn't possibly recommend going here ... save your money for somewhere that deserves it more. The Windmill is purely trading on it's history and name.

HONEST REVIEW - SPENT £340 FOR TWO! - ARRIVAL- Upon arrival was greeted by nonchalant security as well as non-bothered/non-attentive hostess who couldn’t even smile and greet us when we arrived. She was busy sorting something out on a WhatsApp group chat - Usually, I don’t care but considering that this is supposed to be an immersive show dinner experience I’d expect the first “impression” to be on job. [1/5] - SEATS - We booked the platinum seats and were seated right next to the stage which was great. Would recommend getting these. The chairs were uncomfortable but I guess it’s because they need light chairs because the restaurant transforms into a nightclub on the weekend. For the price I’d expect better quality. - SHOWS - The artists were really great but in my opinion too little shows within the time frame. INCA (similar restaurant concept in Soho) have a show every 15 minutes and they are longer than the ones at The Windmill and a bit more engaging. - SERVICE - The service was friendly BUT we were rushed from one dish to another. A second bottle of Sparkling water was added to our table and bill which we didn’t ask for. I’d like to be in charge of what I want to order - not the other way around. Bill was dashed onto our table without asking and in general everything seemed rushed. - FOOD - Mediocre food, it was okay but not amazing for this price point. Also way too dark in there, people were using torches to eat. - VALUE FOR MONEY- They add a charge for the Show of £20 as well as 15% service charge. I was a bit surprised as it wasn’t really stated anywhere clearly on the website?! I doubt that I’ll go again - it was nice to experience something “different” but all in one wasn’t worth the money. Thanks!

Very nice club interior and polite service. The entrance to the room was just before 8 pm. Orders from us were accepted immediately. Other guests entered at different times and each received dishes at different times. We were booked with the 3 meals course and a show. I rate the food a 3 on a 5 scale. The starter, octopus, nothing special, just acceptable. Main course dry, breaded cold chicken meat, not much flavour, no salad. Lovely dessert, chocolate and raspberry mouse, very rich in flavour. The table staff were very attentive and fantastic. Very long intervals between performances like 15 to 20 min. Nobody announced when they would end and how many we can expect. Compared to other clubs I've been to in the past, this could be much better, a bit dissatisfied. Nobody said what time the artist's performances end, so after having food, people just started to leave, bored with waiting. From 8pm to 11pm there were a total of 6 shows, some of really fantastic, some useless completely. Naked lady on the sofa, no movement and different types of lights displayed on her body. The host, unfortunately, neither funny nor witty, no idea to keep the audience curious, most just he was swearing with not much sense. The room was drafty so I was cold. Compare to other events we went, not recommend this place. Disappointed evening from one more point. Filling out the form for the club, I wrote we are having evening for my partner's birthday. Some other people been treated with candles and cake from the same occasion but for some reason not my hubby.

We came to London from Germany for one evening to see the revue at the Windmill Soho, especially to see Clea de Velours. We chose the late show and bought the tickets online in advance. When we were in London that day, we checked where the windmill is and took photos in front of it. There was no information anywhere on the outside of the store. A lady was just setting up the entrance. She didn't tell us that times have changed. We went to the hotel and changed. Then we're off to the windmill. On site we found out that instead of two performances there was only one performance that evening and instead of 9:30 p.m. it started at 8 p.m. I've never experienced that in my life, that a show starts before it says on the ticket. I also follow the Windmill Soho on Instagram. There was also no story about the time changes. I received the tickets by email and a request for a rating. However, it was not possible to send an email about the time change. On site it was said that the guests were informed by SMS. Due to the different country code, we did not receive any SMS. There wasn't even an apology. Just saying that it shouldn't have happened. There wasn't even an invitation for a free drink or an offer to come back another evening. We missed half of the revue. Came all the way from Germany for this. The disappointment was great and the evening was ruined for us. I just think it's a shame that the guests are treated like this. We saw 2 of the four show blocks. There were 3 short acts in a row and then a long break in between. I hope that this review will help to make such short-term changes more public.

We came here for the Saturday evening show and dinner. The positives: The food was delicious! I had been concerned as I'd seen some mixed reviews but everything I ate was to a high standard. The performers were fantastic and really original The (one major) negative: I would have loved to have given The Windmill five stars, however we had one major issue which pretty much ruined the night for us. We couldn't see anything! We had been put at the back of the balcony and had an extremely restricted view of the performance. We were also placed in a sitting area which was meant for one person less than we were, so we were shoulder to shoulder throughout. This was such a shame as we had a great time otherwise, but the entire reason we had come was to see the performers and we could barely see them at all. We did raise this on the night and I contacted them by email afterwards as we hadn't been told we'd have a restricted view, however the response I got was, next time we will give you a better seat. It seemed extremely unfair that we paid the same amount as the people seated on the floor, who had a great view as well as interaction with the performers. I would have loved to give the place 5 stars as it really is a great place, but our personal experience was quite poor, and I would have appreciated the management coming back to me with a better response than they did

I bought tickets to an event at Windmill Soho on 17/03/2023 (Friday night). Upon arrival, some rude bouncers dismissively told me that they were not letting any more people in, and that they would only let me in provided I paid them an extra £1000 for a table. In utter disbelief, I politely enquired how it was possible that they wouldn't let me in if I actually had a ticket for the event under my name, to which they replied in a deadpan manner that, in their opinion, I had not pay enough money for the event (which I found pretty outrageous), and that it was hence expectable that setbacks could occur. In 34 years, this is the first time I have bought tickets to an event and literally at the door I have been told that I cannot go in. Nobody even apologised. I thought that the situation was surreal and that we live in a pretty ridiculous world. I said to myself that this was almost comical in a Dickensian way, and decided not to argue with these guys anymore, since it was obviously pointless. That Friday, I came from outside of London, organised my day around the event, and had friends waiting for me inside the venue, so this disrupted our plans. I hope the venue can offer some sort of compensation because this treatment and irresponsibility are inadmissible and inhuman. Honest negative reviews lead to loss of money and prestige, so I am not sure what their business strategy is.

Booked ourselves (myself and my partner) on the guest list and arrived within 10 mins of the guest list opening on Saturday 26th August at 11.40pm. A rude blonde lady on entrance told us guest list had closed so no entry! How can the guest list close 10 mins after opening? We were told only way of entry was to either pay £1,000 for a table or minimum spend will be £500!!! This is such a CON, no where does it state in their T&C guest list will close within10 mins of opening and the prices she mentioned were ludicrous! The exact same thing happened on Saturday 10th December 2022, my partner and I added ourselves to the guest list and arrived within minutes of opening and the SAME lady told us the same so we walked away. This spoilt our night on both occasions! The only reason I can think of this happening is that this establishment is prejudice and racists towards non-white people. I am Indian and my partner is caucasian. We were both on both occasions dressed up, so it's not like we were in casual wear. If this is the case please state on your website your requirements of people you want in your club! This way you won't disappoint anyone's night! I have written an email of complaint but still waiting to hear back, I doubt I will ever receive a reply, so hence the reason for going public!

Diabolical service. AWFUL .. Avoid at all costs! We organised our works Christmas party early in December and had a very poor experience. We supplied meal requirements well in advance and had several discussions with staff prior to the event. On the night there was long waits for meals to arrive, well over and hour in most cases. Some tables did not receive their meals at all and many of us received no dessert. We were ushered from the restaurant area before meals were brought out. We raised our concerns with the Restaurant Manager on the night which had no effect on resolving the situation. Indeed the restaurant manager appeared completely disinterested and did nothing to assist us. We have since emailed the organisation three times to complain and request at least a partial refund for those who had no meals at all. We have received no response to any of our emails. It seems clear this company has absolutely no regard for its customers. We will not be returning although it is doubtful this company is remotely bothered. It has our money and this is all they are interested in. Hopefully this review will go some way to deterring others from wasting their money.

This place is a scam - avoid at all costs! We booked a table here for my friends Hens party, were told that there would be cabaret shows and agreed that it would be a £1,000 minimum spend to reserve the table for our group. After arriving and being told we had to do bottle service or leave (the cheapest was £500 for a bottle of Tanqueray that costs £30 at a shop), we then found out afterwards they had also charged an additional £400 for entry fees to our credit card, which we were not previously advised of. To make matters worse, they didn't even have cabaret shows on this evening, despite what they had previously told us. When we queried this, multiple people in our group were told by staff that the shows would be starting soon, obviously an absolute lie as there was only a DJ playing all night. Rude staff, who obviously have no issue with taking your money on false pretences, and are now ignoring all calls / emails regarding these charges. Not surprising to read that one of the co-proprietors was convicted of a criminal offence in 2023 and has been jailed…

One of the worst experience and the biggest disappointment. To be honest nothing is worth it in that place. It is a complete mess and robbery. The shows are somehow okay but too short and nothing close to cabaret style they become lame during the night. Do not expect anything special for your thousand bill literally nothing special about this place. The food was so basic chicken pane that you can eat from Tesco where it would taste better at least. Horrible!!! Staff approach you and ask you to leave two hrs after you have already spend £900 on their tasteless food and very basic not good dessert and a bottle of gin for £400+ In case you didn’t want to leave after the two hrs they make you and they ask you to stay by the bar cz now you are nothing but less worthy otherwise exit the place completely and leave. Funny things when we left the place we saw people queuing to get in i felt pity for them cz they don’t know what they are about to witness. If you fancy a cabaret show with good food i would advise you to visit Park chinois great vibes great food great people and you wouldn’t be disappointed.

Was booked for our friends birthday, with the promise we would be on the guest list after the dinner had finished so we could stay in the club. After £600+ bill which the food wasn’t up to scratch (some of us didn’t even eat the 3 course meal it was that poor! Chicken Milanese which was just chicken steaks sliced up with rocket salad leaves on top for fancy dressing?! Could buy this from sainsburys?!) we was then told we would have to head back outside and queue to pay entry if we wanted to stay for the club part of the evening. We spoke to a manager to took us upstairs to a smaller bar, only to be told 15 minutes later by bouncers they had to ‘clear the area’. The lady who we had been speaking to us and got us a manager previously was in the same section however lost interest in helping us and told us the general manager was ‘too busy’. Would not recommend this place, don’t mind spending the money if your going to have a good night and be treated well! It’s very over priced and the cabaret show isn’t very long!

The worst experience in my life. Do not waste your money on this. Mcdonalds tasted better than the food served. I am not joking. It was horrible. We where 12 people and everyone around the table got bad food, a bad experience. Absolutely no service. They constantly forgot orders and the Waiters was very confused running around the table. Just don't go. And the show was ok. I was not impressed. They could learn something from the box or proud embankment in terms of exciting shows. However they had a very kind top manager who stepped in later on the night and offered free drinks, and we all tried to get up in mood again for a few hours ( thank you for the effort) but the night was dead. Sitting for 1,5 hour with no drink, starving, then when the food arrives it's a few tasteless fries and a steak that was so hard to chew i couldn't get it down and completely overcooked. They messed it up, big time. And after speaking to friends afterwards they had the same experience even a whole year back. Spend your money elsewhere is my best advise

  • Sarz

Appalling customer service.. Will never go back. Show was good but short. Drinks completely overpriced; £8 for half a pint of beer. Ridiculous by even London standards. Waiter declined to give us a receipt for each of our payments (we were a party of 6), and then accused us of not paying the full bill at the end of the night, then when we tried to courteously figure it out to see if we actually had anything outstanding to pay (initially the manager telling my partner the whole bill was still unpaid, despite my partner then showing proof of payment on his banking app for his portion, so the manager changed his story and said the bill was partially unpaid) the original waiter was verbally abusive, using profane language, including also implying that one of our party stole the waiters phone?!! They still could not tell us how much payment was made despite us asking, then told us to leave. Completely unprofessional. This was meant to be a celebratory evening, completely ruined by staff, wouldn't recommend based on our experience.

Went here last night for the 9:30 showing. Took the staff about 30 minutes to take a drinks order and then a further 20 minutes for them to actually arrive. Ordered Arancini as a side with the set menu. When the food came out I mentioned that the Arancini hadn’t come out with the mains to then be told I could have it if I really wanted it but I would have to wait 30 minutes. Staff were not attentive, to the point that our server followed us out the restaurant to tell me how sorry he was that he hadn’t paid much attention to us all night but was grateful we didn’t complain too much…weird. My friend ordered a medium rare steak which came out overdone, when raising this issue with our server, he became defensive. Instead of resolving the issue quickly, he went and got his pad where he had written to order to prove that he had in fact written “medium rare”. This doesn’t mean the steak was cooked medium rare, clearly the kitchen over cooked it. A lot of money to be treated poorly, wouldn’t return. Waste of an evening.

My partner and me had dinner (350£ for a table +drinks ) while we were watching a 1h30 show which was quite mediocre and vulgar. After that, they rushed us to finish so they can start the "night club venue". Nevermind, we didn't take it bad and decided to dance and have fun, when suddenly the security guy without any reason, proof or motive at all decided to kick us out saying that my boyfriend had too many drinks! Worst experience ever, the whole service was terrible (besides of the girls who helped us finding a table), the drinks were served after we finished dinner , the lady who very rudely asked to take our coats and rushed us to move from the table, and the security team who just kick clients without any motive at all!! No help or consideration, rudeness, inappropriate staff behaviour, vulgar show and overpriced dinner is what you will receive if you go to this place.

They do after there we went from Tabú and they recommended this place to us to continue the party. As soon as we arrived, a very friendly woman greeted us and asked us for 20 poudns to enter and I told her if we could pay in cash and she asked this blonde girl who then gave me Her name would be Manager, her name is Martina or something like that, she look at myself from top to bottom and I don't know what I would say to the girl and when I return she tells me that only people who are on the list can enter. Basically he has discriminated against me because of my appearance and for not wearing heels and a dress. A shame in the 21st century An arrogant person without a doubt, I do not recommend going to that place if that person is in charge of who enters or leaves

Worst place in London value for money wise!!! £150pp for a horrible set menu dinner and two drinks/pp with a show that might as well be street artists. The food came out super slow, options were very limited, service in general was slow and inefficient (didn’t have tabasco or chilli sauce or even toothpicks). The show was brief and very bland compared to other restaurants in London. You would be better off going to Inca or Park Chinois, at least you would get a decent meal and show that is actually worth seeing. No offence to the performers, I would have been happy if we paid half the price, but £600 for four people for disgusting limited meal and average cocktails is plain robbery. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT GO TO THE WINDMILL EVER. Far more better restaurants in London than this sorry excuse for entertainment.

  • Laze Damyanovski

We had the golden 3 course menu. The show itself was very basic 3 mins show nothing close to cabaret style, after the first chapter we couldn't breath of the smoke coming out of the firesticks. The food was horrible. The main menu was literally 'potato' and steak. The desert 2 plates of 3 pieces of melon watermelon 3-4 macaroons and skoop of vanilla tesco iccreem and all of that for 8 people. The worst was in the end when the waiter tried to manipulate with the bill and tried to overcharge us £700 plus. He did apologise after we said that this is not what we have had and bring a new bill. After that we had a booking for the night club but none of us was happy to stay so we all left. Such a disappointment, I should have read the reviews about this place before I decide to book. Definitely not worth the money.

After reading so many bad reviews online that was left over the past week i was unsure if i even wanted to go myself, however i'm so glad we did as it was a great night. We visited friday 07th april 7.30 showing. Please go and visit yourself with an open mind. We purchased the platinum tickets - great seats right by the stage, the theater is pretty small so i don't think they have any bad seats. Service was spot on, kept on top of drinks and food came out on time. - cannot fault this. food was amazing! show, was good, i do think their could of been some differnt acts but overall was a good night. Bill - we had no issues with our bill, and only paid for what we had. i think most of the negative reviews are based on the nightclub after not the show thats shown before.

  • Stacey Williams

Extremely disappointed & mislead! After careful consideration we made a booking at Windmill for a hens do on a Saturday night. We chose to book at Windmill as we were told there was a cabaret show and reserved a table for £1000 (originally quoted £1500). There was no mention of entry fees when we made the booking and at other clubs when you reserve a table you are not charged fees on top. The credit card charge was for almost £1,500 due to entry fees which the club did not disclose at the time and there was NO show. They also limited the minimum spend to be only bottle service, where the cheapest item on the menu was £500 (the bottle of gin was embarrassingly overpriced). Would never return and wouldn’t recommend!

I booked a bottomless brunch for a birthday. The meal doesn’t come with any sides- so we ordered two and shared- £16 and £8 respectively. Baring in mind I paid for the rest of the meal etc before arrival I was then given a £48 receipt. As I was merry on bubbles and it was my friends birthday I didn’t query at the time but did afterwards. It turned out they had added £24 device charge etc which is a percentage of the entire bill. So my question is, what would they have done if I hadn’t ordered sides? I feel like it’s a cheeky way of making money and soured an otherwise great afternoon.

I had a 3 course dinner here and a show.. I absolutely loved the show.. my face in d video proofs it, the only downer was we were not allowed to record any of the shows so now it’s a memory stuck in my brain that I have to explain to friends by word of mouth but can’t show, i must however commend that even though it was an evening show and I was alone, I felt really safe and taken care of. I was harassed by a man and his friends at the restaurant and the manager or so noticed and after warning him off and he didn’t listen, they were kicked out. As a black girl having someone actually protect u.. I was supper impressed and would recommend visiting here any day to anyone

  • Holly scarlett Knowles

After reading all the negative reviews… everything about the staff there was bang on. Very rude, impatient, and Racist staff. Being Black or a person of colour is enough to find every reason not to let you into the club.l consideration where they judge your ability to afford being in the place or Not. Was looking forward to seeing this place because my friends celebrated a birthday for one of the boys which I was invited to although wasn’t able to make it and from what they told me, they spent so much money here and still didn’t get all the value for their money. Do yourself a favour, go to cirque le soir or The Reign to get better experience and AVOID THIS PLACE ✌

  • BOUARDI RIHAB

The overall experience is good, loved the show! The service was really really slow and the sitting area was good but! The staff haven’t warned me when they started changing tables and getting ready to change the cabaret into a club, so i kept on being pushed and hit from all areas non stop for over 15 minutes till i spoke to someone! Plus the lady that came to our table was rushing us to leave it and go to the bar without at least a 10mins heads up, her attitude was not pleasant. I would recommend it to a friend but i’ll makeu sure to tell them about my experience

Pretty poor experience overall, cannot fault the entertainment, however the service at this brunch was very bad. We attended the Cabaret Brunch on 12th November did not receive our main courses, when we complained several times our food was then brought out 10 minutes before the event finished being stone cold and each dish completely undercooked. We took this up with the restaurant manager, Blake who tried the food we were complaining about and agreed it was very undercooked and assured us we would be refunded. Unfortunately The Windmill have failed to do so despite attempts to contact on numerous occasions over the past couple of weeks.

  • Jaque de Paula (J4CKIE)

I’ve been to this place twice now cause I decided to give it a second chance but honestly, wouldn’t recommend. The door staff is so rude for no reason. And it doesn’t matter how good a place is, if you have a bad experience at the door, the night is already ruined. But the worst part is that this place is not even good. As a club it has nothing at all to offer. Overall, I only come back to places I feel like the staff is welcoming and friendly. If that was the case, I would definetely book a dinner for example. But unfortunately I won’t ever come back until they understand that Hospitality is all about how people are treated.

  • Tabassum Nusiba

One of the most horrendous and rude places I have visited. My friends and I tried to visit after the theatre and while the bouncers were kind and polite. The women providing entry were horrid and rude, to the extent of subjecting us to our Arabic background and being low-key racist. Would not recommend to anyone and would suggest avoiding unless wanting to pay 1k for a table (only one way for us to get in) I would recommend going to Jack Solomans close by instead or archers street. This is legit one of the most toxic clubs in Soho.

We only paid £10 for our tickets and got a free cocktail which was worth mroe than the ticket so that was a bonus however it was a very chaotic evening. We had to wait a long time outside to get in, then the show was very short (only around 5 acts), the waiters were lovely but obviously very stressed/overworked. For example no one brought us the water we had asked for or came and took our order for a second round of drinks. Finally whilst we were still sitting down and finishing our drinks they started to turn the theatre into a nightclub and moved the table we were using! Was a very strange experience.

After a disappointing night my partner left a less than positive but honest review to warn others of what could be expected from the experience. The response was a request for him to contact the manager to discuss the issues. My partner has called on several occasions and each time was told the manager wasn't available but assured a message would be left for him to contact my partner. Surprise surprise!!! This never happened. It seems they do not like bad reviews but make no effort to appease the situation!

Centrally located. Don't bother going for the early show if you want a risqué show. The later it gets, the better it gets. The performers are good. The food is mediocre my cauliflower wasn't cooked giving me a tummy ache but the staff did replace my dish, unfortunately that didn't necessarily help. The dessert was coffee flavoured which is quite smart given it was getting late . The drinks are horrendously expensive and having tried one of the cocktails, not worth it at all. Overall, a novel experience but not top class.

Epic night out!! Everything was spectacular, the food, the entertainment, the music…all of it. We did the dinner and show then stayed after for dancing. No need to trek all over town to different spots, we had the best of everything in one place. The servers were so attentive, never leaving anyones glass empty for long. Highly recommend! Personal highlights: The truffle risotto was the best I’ve ever had! The shows were sexy and edgy, just mesmerising Atmosphere was classy but not stuffy, a really fun crowd

Had not very pleasant experience with this place. All the stuff , was very rude to me and my friend and seems to be punished to even have to be working there. Making u feel like u re nobody coming to the club , while hello ? we just want to have good time? Music is super loud to the point u rly suffer and need to run far away from the speakers, upper part of the club was closed while it would make things much easier and we wouldnt have to dance like cracked sardins with barely any space for dancing

The Windmill soho is iconic! Its a must do! Hands down the best Burlesque Cabaret Show in London. Its sophisticated & a little naughty. From the moment you enter you are greeted by a chic host who escorts you to your table. Your waiter is attentive & helpful. The food is delicious - its flavourful with good portions & well presented. The bar team make amazing cocktails. The ambiance has rich red curtains mirrors & moody lighting it is decadent & timeless. The entertainment is fantastic it has it all! This really is the hot spot to go to in Soho! LB

We had nice time here. Place were amazing crowd. Cloackroom available so we have no worry to get into dance floor. Staff are nice and professional. Guest who came here majority middle up class. Love to see them dress well and smart. Dance also freely and people respect each other. No harrasment as sometime I found at some otherclub. Love the lighting and screen effect. DJ just fenomenal. Drinks are good. It cost more compare than other club, however it worth the experience. Our birthday girls was happy. We had great night and I cant stop dancing..

  • Ellis McDonagh

The worst experience ever. The show is awful and boring. Same girl over and over taking her clothes off. Food is rubbish, paid £10 extra for the steak and it was vile. Staff are incredibly rude and threatened us at one point. It was so bad we didn’t pay a thing because the manager knew how vile the staff were. Paid the same as anyone else to be there and they put is so one of us had our back to show. Had to ask for drinks multiple times, don’t go here.

Initially I was planning to give this place 4 stars as it is not the kind of entertainment that I enjoy tremendously; however, if I consider what others may like who search for windmill soho nightclub, I decide to give it 5 stars. The performers were clearly very talented. The performances were excellent and entertaining. I was impressed especially by the hoop and pole performers. Food was fairly good. And the service was efficiently and friendly. If you’re living in London and like burlesque, I would give this experience a go!

  • Tom S

Awful experience. Almost immediately after paying the not inconsiderable amount for a table they are trying to upsell you to another table downstairs, before we’ve even had a chance to enjoy what we’ve got. They’ll then keep adding mixers that you never asked for, and in some cases didn’t drink, into your order. Staff weren’t very friendly and just obsessed with trying to squeeze money out of you while providing no real service. Club itself isn’t even that nice, a mid range place pretending to be high end. First and last visit.

  • Steven Ganapathee

The Silver Menu food was awful , £50 per person and the food was bland , portion size so small a child would be left hungry after. Be careful staying after your meal even if you have booked to stay and have been added to the guest list they will send 5 bouncers to remove you outside to go que up again , even with bottles of drink on the table . The managers are incompetent, no customer service skills with an air of 'not my problem' even after showing them booking confirmation. Don't waste your money

  • Daniel Christian

Booked a table one month ago for 14 December 2022 and they cancelled it last minute. They tried to offer me an upgrade and dinner at 21:30 instead but that’s too late. The excuse is they have a group booking. Reading some of the reviews on here have to say I think I’m relieved they cancelled it. Unfortunately, it’s Christmas time and way too last minute to book a table anywhere else. Would had been fine to cancel if they mentioned a month ago or even 2 weeks ago. Disappointing.

My friends and I visited for a Saturday night performance on the platinum menu. We had an amazing time. The service cannot be faulted, the staff were so attentive and every member of staff we came into contact with was professional and welcoming. The food was very enjoyable too and filling. The performances were outstanding from a singer performing upside down, fire shows and acrobatics. The venue was unique and intimate. We will be back as it was great value for money

  • Sophie Micallef

We had such an amazing night at The Windmill. The performers were incredible, lots of variety with a great host and singer in between acts. The food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were so tasty. I loved their amaretto sour! After the cabaret finished, the floor was changed to a dance floor and they had DJ on which was a great way to continue the night. Our waiter Alvaro was great and super helpful and attentive. Overall an incredible experience!

Went for a friend's birthday Saturday night and was disappointed at the quality of the food for the price point (undercooked rice in the chef's risotto) and was given flat prosecco (despite sending the first back because it was flat I received a second glass also flat). The waiters' service was good and the show was interesting from what I could see, although we were blocked by the host for part of it.

Very disappointed. I had paid for a 4 course meal, only got three courses. Was told I could order anything on menu. Choose beef and was charged. Service charge by far excessive. Entertainment less than what I expected and breaks between acts were too long and too many. Highly disappointed!! Acts were very amateur! Extremely overpriced. Expensive way to celebrate my mums 80th birthday. At the price we paid I expected far more, not far to pay !!

  • Robert Alvarez

Absolutely not worth the money. Although the show was interesting to say the least, I can't fathom spending the type of money they ask for to see a 5 minute show followed by a 20 minute intermission between each show. We arrive and had bar seating since we had just ate and our order was taken relatively soon after. After 50 minutes and multiple requests, we finally received our drinks which were aweful. Wouldnt waste my money here again.

  • Matteo C.

SCAM - AVOID I was with some friends and we were told that the table was going to be £500. We get inside and a new bill for more than £700 comes to our table and credit card gets sequestered. When we ask for an explanation to the staff, the manager responds to us that we need to pay for an extra service charge, extra water (which we never asked for) and for a table cover charge.

My daughter booked this as part of her hen night and it was the best part of the night! Super friendly and attentive staff, absolutely incredible show and lovely cocktails. We didn't have food so I can't comment on that but I would thoroughly recommend The Windmill as an experience.

The worst food I have ever eaten! The fish was sour and smelled like urine, the mushrooms in the risotto were rotten and the risotto was moldy and cold. I was sick for 3 days after eating there. The head chef, Davide Senesi, should be sacked before he really kills someone with food poisoning!

The poorest bottomless brunch I’ve been to. My groups main courses arrived minutes before the event was ending, meanwhile everyone else had finished their 3 courses. When the main courses did eventually arrive, they were pretty poor. Very cold and undercooked. Would not recommend Unfortunately

A very funny dubious place. Check your menu before you order. The waiter was very funny with my bill. Waited for 40mins before being attended to. Show was alrite. But service was super poor and lazy and adding funny things to the bill in London was a new thing . I get it in some countries. Not UK. Just be vigilant.

  • Antonio Chillemi

I was there with my wife on Wednesday night and everything was absolutely amazing, skilled artists performing on stage and around the club, the entertainment team made us laugh so much, love them!! And Antonio our waiter was so kind and helpful in choosing our food/wine! Good portions of food, very delicious!

My God. You do not know fun unless you’ve been to the cabaret at Windmill. Not only was I wined and dined with (honestly) Michelin quality food and drink, but I got to enjoy a five star show during. 100% HAVE to go if you are in the London clubbing scene, or coming for a weekend.

An incredible place! The show is incredible and the talent they have on stage and their costumes are stunning. It was really nice to do something in different london. The acts on the stage is very tastefully done & a beautiful spot to see burlesque. The food alongside the acts were an absolute bonus.

An amazing dining experience, fabulous cocktails, food and flawless service! The Cabaret show is incredible, it’s the perfect mirage of roaring West End glamour and mischief that the iconic building is remembered for. We laughed, danced and even extended our night to the club. Will defo return!

Absolutely terrific venue, I was really impressed by the decor just walking in and it's clear they're putting a lot of effort into maintaining a classy establishment. All the staff were friendly even if they were busy, would definitely come back just for the high level of service. A must see!

  • Shan Cura

Never felt so rushed off the table whilst mid way trying to finish my bottle of wine and dinner, after starting late with show. Very poor service with staff and smelt of bad body odour. Food was average. Ok performances not the best. Expected abit more high standard by this experience.

  • Lulu Al Mutawa

Honestly, the show was amazing, but they accepted my reservation for 10:30 PM and then rushed us so much, it was like we were cattle, it was a really stressful experience. If we were so late that we couldn’t have a good experience they shouldn’t take reservations at that time..

  • Amanda Henrikson
