Feel very disappointed in the chef and lady serving there, i have been a repeat customer for the past years since i have moved to Narrabeen, tonight Thursday 14th of September I walked to the restaurant to order some dinner (the same dish I have ordered over the many years of eating thai food and i have previously ordered from this restaurant) i asked for panang curry with chicken, and requested for it to have little to no chilli. The lady pulled a funny face which i tried to jest with and laugh about how weak my chilli tolerance is. But the lady continued to refuse me as i am not allowed to order this dish without chilli even though as stated earlier i have everytime i have ordered curry from thai. The chef and lady on service continued to push there facts on me and would not listen to any reason so i walked out and will not return again as i now feel extremely uncomfortable in this establishment and will be ordering delivery from a much more professional and friendly restaurant amy@lemon thai in deewhy

Ordered home delivery! The food was in eatable! I’m taking it back to get a refund. I have read the restaurant’s comments. I received your food last night 27 Aug 2022. I paid $91.77 The spring rolls - terrible - I ate 2 of 4. Prawn dumplings- terrible - better from Coles. Fried rice with prawns - can’t go wrong, right? - one mouth full, no more. Stir fried vegetables - turned out to be frozen veggies - broccoli stink - in glug sauce . Stir fried veggies & fish - the same above but with fish . I put the lot back in my fridge to return. I just called and the owner who argued with me when I suggested I was returning the food and would like my $91 back. ‍♂️ She was not open to a return & less interested in discussing the rank food. A refund would have sorted this issue! No I’m not taking it back now as it would be a bad scene. It’s now in the bin! Thx

A great little place. Staff were super friendly and nice and the food was great overall. The standout was the fried squid which was honestly the best we have ever had. It was so fresh, soft and tender that you could cut it with a spoon. The serving sizes were reasonable too. My only feedback would be that the Heavenly Beef wasn’t really worth it. Beef was a little dry and portion was small. I think the prices of the food is a little overpriced too, but that is to be expected with dining out on the northern beaches I guess. Still, $100 for a dinner for two seems like a lot. If you’re going to spend that much, give this place a try as it is a great Thai!

Nicely decorated restaurant... seats approx 40 - 50. Menu has many excellent choices at affordable price points but not all are value for money. Taste and presentation is excellent however portion size is disappointing and a little on the small side, hence a 4 star rating rather than 5... I've spent 20 years in the hospitality industry and for the cost of $1.00 per portion on mains they could easily add the WOW factor!!! that reputation is priceless... would bring people back plus spread the word of mouth, something marketing can't buy...Beverage menu well priced, allows BYO. It's a nice restaurant... Thai owned and authentic Thai food.

There were 8 of us for a birthday celebration we had the banquet which was great even gave us vegetarian options and didn't change us cakeage would recommend this place as the food and service was terrific!

The food, service, and ambience were all great. We were a party of 6 (and, well, 2 quarters) and ordered about 7 dishes to share amongst us. All of the dishes were above expectation and, personally, the standouts were Beef Massaman, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Thai Fried Rice. The per head average expense was just over AU$20 - which seems fair. Would recommend.

Ordered home delivery. Arrived 90 minutes after it was due to arrive. Called twice and was given conflicting information. Spring rolls were nice but the lettuce for the Sang Bow Choi was a chunk of a lettuce and left the leaves too small to use properly. The Pineapple Duck Curry was okay, but the Pad See Ew was lacking in flavour. Both were oily and left an unpleasant taste in the mouth. Not worth the wait or the slightly more expensive price. Pretty disappointed.

I had a wonderful time eating at The Zest Thai restaurant with my extended family last night. I made a reservation for 6 adults and 2 kids in high chairs. They sent a beautiful table for us all, including lovely child friendly cutlery! It was a special touch that made us all feel relaxed and at home in the warm hospitality. The decor is lovely also, and we enjoyed the food very much as well. My thanks to the staff at the Zest Thai!!!

We have been regular visitors to the Zest for several months. We have always enjoyed the food, the friendly service and welcome from May. As we are still in lockdown we ordered a takeaway meal this weekend and we have to say there was no drop in quality of the food as there often is when the food is not eaten at the restaurant. Well done May we are looking forward to visiting the Zest when life gets back to normal.

We love Thai and wanted to try this place as it was local. Probably the worst Thai we’ve got take away from, overpriced for what we got, poor quality dishes, plus very small portions. We got the salt and pepper squid and heavenly beef. Better Thai restaurants around.

Disappointed as reviews were excellent. Mixed entree bland and luke warm. Under seasoned. Chicken pad thai. Bland. Greasy. Where was the chilli? Green curry chicken. Soooo sweet. Not authentic. Thick coconut cream. Sorry, but will not order again. My first ever negative review. I was looking forward to the food from this restaurant but really disappointed. Maybe go back to traditional Thai food expectations?

Amazing food and service. We arrived with my partner without booking. The food was served very quick, and was so yummy. The staff very friendly. And there is no extra charge if you go Sunday. Finally they offer us a little ice cream for free

Zest Narrabeen has always been a favourite and Zest Garden does not disappoint. Every dish was enjoyable and well priced. Service - no fuss. Location - well on the edge of an industrial area and on a busy road, but not too busy at night - and the food is worth it.

Stir fired soft shell crab curry & Salt & pepper squid was delicious with flavors that brought me back to Thailand, The Tapioca Desert is also highly recommended considering im not really a sweet tooth i loved it. Great service and friendly staff I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely Thai Restaurant

Really great genuine thai food, best on Northern Beaches. The fried barramundi is outstanding. Intimate and cosy premises. The new owner is charming and determined to make this one of the best. We went back again last night, getting even better as the new owner introduces more delicious meals to the menu.

Really disappointed. I ordered a pink Lemonade for my daughter. But my daughter found a cockroach in her cup. The owner replaced a cup for us. But the feeling is still bad.

Very tasty food but slightly more pricey than other Thai in the area. However, we were with good company celebrating together and the staff were very friendly and accommodating for our rather large group. We all had an excellent night and will no doubt be back again.

Excellent Thai Food in cozy surroundings … and I’m giving extra kudos as they are one of the few places in Narrabeen open on a Monday! The curry puffs and Peking duck rolls are top notch … and you should consider their signature dishes.

We had the most fabulous meal at Zest last night. The heavenly sizzling beef was heavenly. So tender and tasty. One of the best Thai I have had for ages. Would highly recommend.
