I was looking for a place that was cool with great food, and walked by this place on the high street in Sutton. The location is very well presented with great tables and comfortable seating. Social distancing is well handled and you must order via an app using your phone or go to the bar to order. I am disabled and have a service dog, and the first time I came for breakfast this seemed an issue when I asked but I was able to enter and eat breakfast. The place was nearly empty and since I had never been there before, I did not know I needed to order at the bar or use the app I waited for about 5 mins before a staff member told me. I ordered a breakfast with tea. The breakfast was freshly made, so did not mind waiting for it and was lovely, although very pricey for a english breakfast. I ate my meal and then a server took it away and I left. It was a fairly basic experience especially as they are charging premium prices. I decided to come back the next day to order something else and see if I had the same experience. So next day at lunch I came, there were already two dogs inside (so no idea why it seemed an issue when I came before), and as I sat down, a server offered to bring a bowl of water for my dog. Being a minority as well as being disabled and with a dog just trying to live a normal life without being interrogated constantly is very frustrating and can make going out a nightmare, hence why many people with disabilities do not even bother. It was good that day that I was felt that it was more of an inclusive environment. I ordered the cheese burger and fries. note - All the burgers do not come with a side. Again for the price its the very top end of the range but was very tasty and the fries very crisp and crunchy. I was asked if the meal was ok during the meal and if I wanted anything else at the end and so this time the service was spot on. This place would be ideal to meet friends for a dinner or bite, or even a few drinks with some tapas, or breakfast. The atmosphere is family friendly and a well decorated spacious interior.

3 of us had a meal,if it could be called that, yesterday 27th Dec. We chose from the "Mains" menu but the portions were more snack sized. The food was lovely but ridiculously tiny portions. I must stress none of us are big eaters. So anyone who likes a normal sized dinner will be very disappointed. My daughter had Lamb Curry - you could actually put the entire lamb content on one fork- not heaped!!!. So we paid for a spoonful of lamb in sauce with a small amount amount of rice. My chicken dish was a little better and was enough for me as I wasn't very hungry but it was a very, very small portion. My husband had the same dish & was totally unsatisfied. He usually eats just slightly more than child's size dinner so that's saying a lot. For the first time I can remember we actually had a snack when we got home 20 min after leaving the cafe. We eat out a lot and have been here before. We thought the portion sizes were small then (approx 1 year ago) but nothing compared to yesterday. I wouldn't recommend eating here unless you are not really hungry or are prepared to pay for 2 or 3 dishes instead of 1. One other thing, our table was really sticky, not cleaned properly. We moved to another table but this was the same. The staff were lovely and we didn't have to wait long for the food.:-)). I love the decor.

I recently visited Tiempo Lounge, and overall, I was impressed by the restaurant. The ambiance was fantastic with a spacious dining area and plenty of tables. However, their service approach was a bit unconventional. You can order either at the bar or by scanning a QR code at your table, which you pay for right away. It's worth noting that they ask for tips, even though the service is limited – you have to fetch your own water. The lack of interaction and smiles from the waitress led me to deduct one star from my rating. On the bright side, the food was delightful, especially the Nasi Goreng. However, I was disappointed with the double chocolate Oreo milkshake, as it tasted rather bland, more like milk with a hint of flavor. I wouldn't recommend it.

For a start as soon as you enter. It tries to be a throwback to another era. Also there are a lot of paintings on the wall. To be perfectly honest, some people will like the ambience. In my personal opinion, it's creepy. Also, we asked for the Xmas menu, and we were seated. After a 10 to 15 minute wait. We were told that we could not order from the Xmas menu.So we didn't actually eat or drink at Tiempo Lounge. Well, it would have been nice to know that when we sat down. There's a saying that I even emailed them to say we will be coming on Xmas Eve. There's a famous saying, "You never get a second chance to make a first impression!" Well, my personal impression of Tiempo lounge is poor.

First time here and thoroughly enjoyed the food and vibe. Friendly and tentative service, the restaurant's shabby chic ambience makes it easier ideal place for a relaxing and enjoyable lunch or dinner with a friend or a date. The Tiempo Lounge boost a big menu serving America style breakfast to burgers, tapas and fried chicken. The burger was good, cooked throughout and served with nice crispy chips. The chicken was slightly dry and burnt how flavour on breading was delicious. The Mac and cheese was really cheesy. The venue is large which can facilitate for large party groups. Had a great time I would highly recommend it.

Amazing full English served all day, they let us order it exactly as we liked. Fast friendly service! Price is average for London but the food is well worth it, all very high quality. And dogs are welcomed with smiles and a big bowl of water - always the sign of good people.

The decor here is super weird and I dig it. It doesn't really know what it wants to be and leans into that with mismatched art and mirrors all over the place. The menu is excellent though and the tapas was a highlight. The milkshakes are always excellent, but there is a lack of beers that I would want to drink is the main downside. Certainly not the cheapest place nearby, but you're getting quality for the price (and quirkiness.) They are also good at catering for all dietary needs.

First visit and based on that I will definitely return. Really friendly and efficient staff, great tasting food at a reasonable price. They ask which menu you want when they seat you as they have others such as a gluten free etc. We used the app on the table to order and it was probably the easiest one to use that I’ve come across, the order was placed and paid for so quickly. Despite it being busy the drinks were quick and food came out in a reasonable time. The decor inside is lovely as well. I can see why this place is busy and buzzing and look forward to returning again soon

It was freezing cold outside and this was a warm welcoming pub style restaurant. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Food was average - I ordered chicken cesar sald which was too much romaine lettuce and too much dressing and only a few pieces of chicken and bacon. Cappuccino was too milky and not enough coffee. My wife enjoyed her sausage sandwich and pot of tea. Ok for a quick lunch and to warm up. It was late afternoon when we went and the few patrons and quiet.

I had the regular sized vegetarian breakfast. Everything was really tasty. I loved the greens and peppers added to the meal. The hash browns were great, I don't normally eat them as they are often greasy in other places. These were great. I added Hallouni and that was delicious. I can't fault the meal. THe meat eater with me didn;t have any complaints about their meal either. Only thing I don't like is ordering via and app.

Love this place, its my go to restaurant in Sutton, great selection of food to choose from and the food is consistently good quality and freshly cooked. Best burgers in town. Also brunch menu served all day and a small but good choice of cocktails

We spent our Christmas get together with neighbours here on 22nd Dec. Staff lovely, good service but very disappointed in the food. Pork belly ordered, chewy and tasteless instant gravy. Churros tasted like a soggy, sweet chip. Dips were supposed to be chocolate and caramel I think but just tasted like flavoured sugar.

I had the vegan burger with fries and it was really lovely! The vegan cheese was actually pretty good too and I like the option of adding vegan bacon. I also had the vegan chocolate and raspberry torte and that was lush. The vibe here is really nice, the staff were very polite and the menu has plenty of choice. I didn't have any cocktails but members of my party did and they thoroughly enjoyed them.

Used to be my favourite spot for a bite and a beer, in Sutton. However today I experienced the wrath of the staff for failing to “wait to be seated”. A sign I did notice and have never noticed before. Needless to say I waited for service for long enough that meant I left before ordering. Just remember this is a fine dining establishment

Visited for the first time and I liked the atmosphere. The staff were busy but friendly, as for the food it was okay but a little bland the only obvious downside was the gluten free Arancinis they were muchy one bite and both myself and friend pushed the plate away! I think you need to revise your recipe. A plus I eat the coleslaw I normally hate the stuff so bravo!!!

I believe it was Gandhi that once said "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." And that couldn't be more true here. Staff are all very attentive and the food is on point. Great casual dining vibe and great for a quick drink or 2 or 3...

Came here for a chill Sunday brunch with my husband after we were xmas shopping. Food was delicious and just what we needed after being out in the cold! Had a lovely chat with gracie and erica behind the bar as they served us, they were both so helpful and lovely. Will definitely be visiting again when we’re in sutton x More

Tiempo Lounge is a great place to have lunch. Food is very tasty and full of flavour. You scan a QR code to order and pay. In my opinion, the music is too loud which makes the experience a bit too noisy. Recommended!

Very suddenly, Sutton has its best new place to eat and drink. Fantastic atmosphere, superb food and a good selection of drinks too. Also, the service is still really fast even though the place gets packed. The staff are really helpful and the entire visit was a joy. Definitely worth checking out.

Lovely location and great to sit by the window. Food was ok. They don't allow any changes to the menu.. I don't eat eggs, but couldn't swap the egg for avocado without paying £2.75. All quite expensive for what it was. Shaksuka looks nice,

Had to leave a great review for this place as we had a lovely Sunday lunch here. Friendly, happy service, especially the front of house guy, he invited us in with a smile, makes such a difference! Food was great. I had a chicken burger.

Whilst it was busy to start when we arrived, it did empty out. We were there 3-4hrs. Food lovely but not very spicy (e.g. patatas bravas) amd service slow - our table wasn't cleared for 45mins-1hr so we cleared it ourselves to empty

The food is lovely but the online ordering system has some quirks which meant I was accidentally charged twice. It should all be resolved but having to check my account for it and possibly chase it is a bit of a pain

I just came for the opening night. Good atmosphere, decent vegan range for me. Attentive staff. I would knock off 1/2 star for only 1 male lavatory but the 1970s decor told me not to.

  • Haynes Cheung

A decent place to hangout with friends. Good variety of dishes and nice artistic decors. Feel like they can have more staffs as there were quite many tables for them to manage.

  • Lee Erlank

Awesome atmosphere, great service and friendly staff. Very central and easy to locate. Close to parking and the menu is amazing. Recommend breakfasts for sure! 100s Lekker!

The place was busy but honestly I don't know why. The place is expensive for no good reason. The food is grossly over priced with ridiculously small portions.
