Update to the below review: I want to give credit where credit is due; thank you Josh for calling us back and going above and beyond to ensure that my son was happy with his haircut. And also for making sure he was comfortable returning as he was very unhappy with his hair cut at first. As a mom, I felt unhappy on his behalf about how his first request for the specific cut was handled too. It’s always hard to find a good barber, that knows your hair or what you ask for (ideally a location close by). I appreciate the effort the second barber we saw (I can’t recall his name) put into ensuring the haircut was done right on the second try. I was happy to see my son be smiling and genuinely like his cut. It’s not nice when you have a bad haircut right before the holidays. Really appreciated the added effort and for handling it with class. I know it’s always uncomfortable to confront someone who may have left a harsh review like the one I did below. I appreciated a great deal when people can take ownership and customer satisfaction despite the discomfort. **** Glorified “first cuts”, it’s not appointment based so they just rush cut your hair and onto the next; they don’t know what they are doing. Even after showing a photo of the hair cut my son wanted, the lady cutting his hair could have said I don’t know how to do it if you want to wait a bit longer to have someone who k owe what they are doing do the cut, she went ahead and got started. By the end he showed a picture and said can you just do a fade, and the female barber proceeds to say “I don’t know how to do that honey”. If you are going to call yourself a service and not be honest about what you can do or not when you will take people’s money - that is just not a business a have any respect for. I am never going there again for any of my kids nor recommending it to anyone. Not sure if all their positive reviews are from friends and family. ***

I had the opportunity to have my first hair and beard trim at Tommy gun’s in Stittsville today! From the very start I was made welcome by Josh who booked my appointment , gave me a drink upon my arrival and made sure that I was seen in the shortest delay Vaughn took great care to give me a wonderful haircut and beard trim while providing a wonderful and caring experience Finally I was introduced to Aurora who took care of the billing and made my return booking details known ! I will definitely be back and would like to thank everyone for their kind considerations ! Best wishes !

I checked in online before arriving and showed up about 20 min before the expected time. They were able to take me in early. The barber was courteous, kind, and made sure everything was good with me the whole way though. Top tier service. I was wearing a mask (to avoid getting sick right before travel) and the barber was kind enough to ask if I preferred he wear one. That level of care and understanding isn't very common but very much appreciated. Given this experience, I will very much return for my next cut.

Amazing experience; My son has curly hair (mixed race) and our barber Yullia was outstanding. She was calm, compassionate and precise. To add to the experience, the welcome was fantastic and positive; the waiting area has comfortable seating and 2 tablets for children with games. Once seated, the mirrors have integrated tvs with various options (helped my son with any haircut nervousness, being ale to focus on something else). Really loved our experience, thanks again!

Finally found the perfect barber shop for my son and it's close by in Kanata/Stittsville. Perfect teen hair cut! Low taper, long front with center part. Versatile so the front can be side or center or back or front. He did exactly what was asked for in various pictures with much patience and was very thorough. He made sure it was done exactly as requested and it looks better than expected. My son was very pleased and would like to go back! Well done and thank-you!

I was very happy with my experience here. The service was super easy, walked in and got offered a nice cold drink and waited less than two minutes to get a haircut. Was offered the hot towel and head message service. It was very nice. I had to bring my puppy as he’s too young to stay home and they made sure he was entertained and loved while I got my haircut. Great place, definitely my new hairdresser moving forward. Oh and my hair looks great and clean.

The atmosphere was really calming and the people there were very kind. I had called ahead asking about their skill with curly hair and I was told that some can work with it and some cannot which makes sense, I am not sure if I was paired with the right person. My haircut ended looking nothing like the picture and my hair was cut so short there were no curls left, Unlike the reference photo.

As soon as I walked inside we we met with an amazing looking shop, and such friendly staff! My barber was incredibly nice to me and had such a good vibe coming from him. I was not expecting to get a full hair wash, and conditioning, but was pleasantly surprised! Overall this was the best barber shop experience I’ve ever had, definitely worth the money and I’m most definitely coming back.

My experience at Tommy Guns Kanata was amazing! From the minute I came into the shop, Bryanne and Aurora let me know the wait times and got my son and and I drinks for the wait. My barber Joe was fantastic and listened to everything I wanted out of my cut. AND HE DELIVERED! I would highly recommend coming here. The atmosphere is fantastic and so is the entire staff in general.

Honestly, as an autistic man, it's hard at times to get a haircut without either feeling overwhelmed or just hate the experience. This barbershop has made sure that every experience is top notch and always comfortable. All the staff are always super friendly, plus they always do their best to personalize every visit. I wish I could give a 10 star

I thought it was a pretty cool joint. Pretty hip vibe to it, ppl were nice and the product they actually sell is at a fair market value. Who knew there was still a deal to be found out there in todays climate. Anyways the cat that cut my hair did a great job and I was pretty happy about that and I really enjoyed my experience.

I've now been here twice and I am hooked. This place is fantastic. Joe does my hair better than anybody has in probably a decade and yesterday I had a beard trim and it came out fantastic. The vibe is amazing, the quality of the cut is fantastic and the people are so nice. This is now my barber...

Hands down best barber shop, my husband and my son come here and see Lex, I've personally seen Payton and I could not be more happy with my experience here. Very comforting atmosphere and kind employees. Would recommend to family and friends!!

Visited the Stittsville location and Tommy Gun's for the first time. It was a pleasant experience and Joe did a very nice job on my hair and facial shave. He listened to what I was looking for and explained how he would do it. Thanks Joe!

As a Asian guy. I moved to Canada with my family five years. I have been looking for a good barber and barbershop right fit for me. I have to say I had the best experience today. Christine did good job. I’ll be back for sure.
