Ummm… so went there and saw an item that looked like it was from my culture without a price tag. Asked how much and the older Australian gentlemen said $30 and inquired why I was interested in the object, as I could see it would seem quirky to someone that wasn’t fully aware it represented a sentimental cultural item. Explained “Oh, it reminds me of a piece from my culture”, to which he responded “oh, were you a blood thirsty native?” (Word for word which made me go quiet ngl, also I have brown skin). So I put the piece back and left. Sooo, kinda put a taint on the whole shop, knowing the pieces weren’t really appreciated for the cultural importance as he has stuff from various places. Also, pretty ignorant. Just a weird energy in the place.

Large antique shop with many unique things to offer. Good ambience. Generous, relaxed and helpful shopkeeper on Saturday arvo. Good quality items with fair price. Will surely visit again.
