My first experience with this business was on Wednesday the 15th of February. I was looking to trade in my copy of Pokemon Ultra Sun. The service at the til was done by an employee by the name of, Niahm, I believe (apologies if i'm mistaken). The experience was very pleasant one. Friendly, patient and gracious as I bumbled around( like usual) and since my phone's internet was playing up I could not provide ID despite asking for cash in exchange. I was allowed to bring ID the next time. Once our interaction was finished I was left with an impressive first impression. My second experience was on 17th of February when I wanted to trade in my copies of Final Fantasy 7 and 9. They were not accepted as the store does not sell PS1games which is fair enough. In the end we did settle for selling a copy of High School Musical 3 for Nintendo DS. The interaction was like the first was an acommodating one. I forgot to ask the server's name but congratulations on the Baby Bank certificate by the way. 18th of February was my next visit in which I came to trade my RTX 3070ti. I did bring my order invoice with me this time but mister photographic memory accidently left the folder containing it on the bus. The graphics card needed to be tested and was left at the store and once again I was allowed to present ID again at later date. Today is the 19th and I will be coming in to collect either the amount agreed upon or my card should it fail. Regardless, I suspect my time here will be no different that the previous three times interacting with this business. Most of my purchases made are online (as one will see later today with the amount of invoices I bring). I have heard before over the years that it is important to support their local businesses and this week has taught me to truly appreciate that message thanks to Trade Me In and it's class staff. TL;DR ---- Do yourself a favour and visit the store. By Daniel Sales

it says on posters instant cash, not true i took a couple of old phones [1 samsung and 1 motorola] and they said they would have to check them out, fair enough, told me they could not use one because it was locked and impossible to unlock [i have since unlocked it] this was on tuesday night, i went back the following tuesday and then was told they could not pay me because i did not have picture id, this was not mentioned initially that i would need it, i went back the following saturday with my passport and they said they could not give me the money because i did not have any id with my address on it again i was not told i needed it i told the girl behind the counter i had brought it the previous week. i was told to come back in 20 minutes i returned only to be told to come back in 10 minutes, i returned 20 minutes alter only to be asked to wait because the guy who checked it was not there, he turned up after 5 more minutes i was given £22 and told they did not have enough money in the till, waited two more minutes and was paid the remaining £10, hardly instant cash. so 11 days and 37 minutes later i got the money, i was not desperate for the cash just wanted rid of the old phones, so if yu are wanting instant cash go elsewhere. p.s. not once was the word sorry used by them.

I went in today to sell two high end headphones, one of which CeX determined was B grade despite it clearly being 'A' grade. I was intending to drive to the CeX store at White Rose as I expected them to rate both as 'A'. Walking through the St. John's Centre to get back to my car, I see Trade Me In, which I'd never been in before, and thought there's no way they could compete with CeX, but it wouldn't hurt to see what the price was. After going back in after 45 minutes for testing, I came out with £25 more than CeX were quoting for their 'A' grades, and about £50 more than if I had accepted the offer for one of them being listed as 'B'. The whole process of handing the stuff over and getting a price (subject to testing) and a membership card took less than five minutes but the best thing was how genuinely pleasant and enthusiastic the staff were! They also have a good selection of tech and games, too, albeit smaller than CeX given the size of the store. I will definitely be making this the first stop in the future!

After calling in & selecting a phone I was told to come into the shop when I had made up my mind to consider my purchase & a member of staff would help me “set it up” from my old phone to the one I was intending to purchase. I called the next day (28 feb 2020) & spoke to a young man who spent nearly TWO HRS doing just that. I am a 63yr old lady with little or no sense of technology & this young man stayed by my side & guided me through every aspect of changing from one phone to another without making me feel in any way that I was taking up his time which I definitely was. He deserves a medal for the way in which he dealt with me I just can’t imagine even members of my family having the patience to accommodate me in this way. I didn’t catch his name but I would like to say THANK YOU for all your help & advice & also thank you to every member of the staff that I came into contact with they were fantastic

Hi called in about a week ago asked who I believe is Tom “why is my phone not holding its charge?” He checked my battery & told me I needed a new one as mine no longer was working as it should & then preceded to not only tell me to go to the Apple store he checked how much it would cost there & how long I would have to wait & also gave me directions on how to get there! What I find is so remarkable about this store is their GENUINE helpfulness, he never once tried to sell me one of his phones (which he could have done) he & his staff are so helpful I just can’t praise them enough! If & when I have some money to upgrade my phone I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one from Trade Me In knowing I’d be well looked after. Thanks guys

One of my favourite shops ever !! I’m support worker for people with learning disabilities and one of my client is a big fun of movies and games and if he could he would go there all the time ! Staff members there are extremely nice , friendly , patient and kind they always make my client welcome and I know we can always go there and not feel not welcome ! I also use this shop my self and could not ask of more friendly and professional team . Would 10000% recommend this shop!!

Every time time I come into this wonderful place the staff are always super friendly, and always ready to answer my queries. If you want professional service with a smile, this is the place to be They do the best trade in deals and many of their items are a better price than most stores. With most games/movies its a trip down memory lane whether I buy something or not. And its never a case of waiting in the queue until the cows come home!!!

Love this store. Staff are friendly, place is clean, everything in order. Even when I go to purchase a game or movie they clean disc when it's dirty which is amazing. They have fair prices items too for example went to cex to buy a game saw it was expensive but in trade me in they have fair prices. If anyone is looking for a good place to trade games, dvds consoles and ect. Trade me in is the one for you.

Breathtaking place, breathtaking people. Better than that other red place as it doesn’t smell and the people are all nice. And their prices are not insane too :) 2021 update: still the most poggers store in Leeds and possibly the whole world however I heard the Goodwill Thrift Store & Donation Center in Atlanta is quite good but I am yet to visit. This helpful store has always let my fiancée browse Animal Crossing Amiibo cards to her heart's content! Always friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have. I've personally seen the staff handle quite challenging customers very well, which is to their credit. My only improvement would be to have a dedicated horror movie section, but that's my personal bias talking ahaha!

Went in today to buy a camera and was welcomed by the nicest sales team I’ve ever met. What really impressed me was Ben took the extra step to ensure my satisfaction. They took a picture of me with the camera so I could see its quality firsthand. Not only did Ben capture a great shot, but Ben also made sure I was happy with the camera's performance.I was sold after 2 mins!!

Always pass by to see what preowned offerings are available. A nicer vibe than CEX, but also an internet deadzone for anybody wanting to do price comparisons with Ebay/TradingGroups/Other stores. Staff are always pleasant, and i do really appreciate the hand drawn game case covers for games missing their cases! It's the little things.

I'd been looking for a new lens for my camera having looked I several shops and no luck I thought I'd have a look in Trade me in and found just what is I was looking for. The lens cost me £99.95 and worked perfectly. The member of staff that served was very helpful.

The best place to go for gamers! Although a relatively new store compared to it's competitors, Trade Me In offer the best prices on trade-ins and have lots of cool merchendise in store. Without a doubt, definitely my favourite store for Technology now.

Rude staff and expensive!! Whilst walking around all I heard were the 2 people behind the counter talking about how wastes they'd got the night before and how hungover they were. I ended up buying the XBox one X I was looking fro from CEX!!

For a few months now, this has been the best place for older laptop upgrades. Plenty of ssd drives sata or m.2 nvme, as well as ddr3 and ddr4 memory cards. Good variety for enthusiasts. Well worth a look.
