I recently went on my second Travelrite yarn/knitting tour this time to Scotland and then south to Manchester and Skipton to attend Yarndale  Yarn Festival. This was the best group tour I have been on. Our tour leader Gaille is very experienced, knowledgeable, professional and makes the tour a hugely enjoyable adventure! I loved that she was able to arrange for a detour to visit the Kelpies at Falkirk which has been on my bucket list for the past few years. Travelrite takes care of every detail and are prompt at answering email queries and our accommodation and side trips were first class. I'm an experienced traveller and loved every minute of my recent trip. Our group of 10 are already planning our next adventure with Gaille back to the UK!

I was recently most fortunate to participate in a Travelrite Art Holiday in Tasmania with David Taylor as our art tutor for the trip. We had a Travelrite tour organiser (Lyn H.) who accompanied the group and a bus driver who did a very good job of transporting us places. It was marvellous experience to paint the scenery in water colour from St Helen’s on the East Coast to the Huon Valley, south of Hobart. Our hotel accommodation in St Helen’s was most suitable and in Hobart, we stayed at the luxurious Grand Chancellor Hotel on the Constitution Dock.Breakfast was provided every morning and some evening meals. The tour guide was extremely attentive and ensured all participants were guided expertly throughout the tour. I have fond memories.

We have been fortunate enough to have Laura from Travelrite as our agent for over ten years now, and she never disappoints. She always provides additional insights and suggestions that add that extra special something to our trips. Just recently we were in the UK, and had a tour booked via an agency owned by Thomas Cook. When the problems became known, it turned out that the tour company had not been paid. Laura, Rosie and Michael pulled out all the stops and worked the phones, and guaranteed payment to the tour company. I don't know what we'd have done if they hadn't been there and taken that responsibility. As Laura said "this is why you use a travel agent". Very true. Thanks again Travelrite, for going above and beyond for us.

I have recently returned from The Travelrite Architectural Tour of Japan 2023. The tour was expertly led by Malcolm & Wendy Carver and we visited all the major cities in southern Japan. The mix of new and old buildings together with classic Japanese gardens was perfect and we experienced many beautiful buildings and locations. The tour was fully subscribed, and I had the pleasure of meeting many delightful guests, both architects and those interested in the built environment. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour and I understand Travelrite intends to run it again in November 2024. Anthony Allen, Melbourne

Just called into travel rite in Balwyn to ask some simple advise regarding current COVID requirements into Europe. The woman was already to help me but when I told her I was not a client but just asking a general question she refused to help. Considering it was a question she would have known the answer to without any research and I’m sure she would have advised client on I was pretty annoyed. In a climate where you should be trying to encourage new business this did the complete opposite. I would never use this travel agent or recommend them to anyone. Very poor customer service.

Disappointing over priced cruise /cycle tour Jan . 2023 . Poor communication from office to company tour guide led to variable quality and often unsuitable bikes . This Australian / NZ tour is aimed and advertised to seniors who are all physically fit and capable of cycling trails but the company were unable to provide the type of bikes requested on booking to make this an enjoyable experience . Overall wouldn’t recommend The photo of cyclists on their brochure is not truly indicative of the cycling experience I experienced .

Rosa and the Team at Travelrite International organized our entire overseas holiday starting from leaving Australia and travelling throughout Europe for 5 weeks including 2 cruises. We had the most enjoyable holiday stress free, all the places we visited were beautiful thanks to Rosa and her recommendations. The only thing that I would encourage is tours are often for older people and it would be better to have two nights in a hotel than one. It gives us time to settle in and sometimes on the tour. Have four or five nights in the one place so we can shop stroll around Etc

Forget the internet! Don’t get sucked in by that Use this amazing travel agency The team are experts and manage travel bookings beautifully. There is no way you’ll be able to navigate all the rules regulations and information better yourself 20 outta ten!

Amazing cruise on a beautiful ship travelling with a group of lovely people. The cruise director, Lyn Schuemaker, did a brilliant job of making sure everything ran smoothly for the whole trip. Can't recommend highly enough.

This was a wonderful well-organized workshop. We saw so much, our tutor David Taylor great, Lyne our tour organizer was on the ball the whole time and so helpfull. I would recommend traelling with Travelrite to everyone.

The 2023 Travelrite Yarn Tour to Scotland and Northern England was absolutely fabulous. Our tour guide, Gaille Smith, made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The tour had so many highlights and memories.

A good yet challenging trip. Some walks were difficult for the age level of the group. Suggest that tour guide be given more opportunity to canvass Flinders and King Islands prior to the trip.

I had a Mediterranean tour booked over 2 years ago and travelrite only returned 90% of the $20,000 after they cancelled it and also waiting for Covermore travel refund from them of $536???
