This laundromat has been here for years, but it is operating under a fantastic new owner! I rarely need laundry services, but I got a new (used) jacket and wanted it cleaned for safety precautions. It was a dry clean only jacket. When I brought it in, he took the time to inspect it and discuss with me what could be feasible with cleaning or not. He even noted that it had been laundered inappropriately at some point in its life from just his inspection. He even pointed out some discolourations and stains that may not come out that I didn't even notice upon receiving it. He has a fantastic eye for detail. My expectations were tempered, but upon receiving it back from them, it was so clean it was shiny. I was blown away! I wasn't expecting that at all from the dull, dark (and probably dirtier than I realized) colour that the jacket was. The stains were surprisingly removed as well! I have since gone back to them with an old pair of work jeans that were blown out in the seat of the pants from cycling as well as knees that were just about to go as well. Yet again, expectations were tempered, but I was incredibly pleased with the repair that was done. The knees were reinforced and the seat of the pants were sealed up far better than I was expecting, the only thing that makes it known it was repaired is the extra stitching which I like for the new style it adds to it. Time will tell how long it'll last on jeans I know I don't treat all that well, but the repair looks incredibly robust and I'd trust them to repair it again next time I blow out some jeans. For those concerned as well, their staff has been vaccinated and they operate in a incredibly safety conscious manner. A plus for me! I am very pleased with all the work that I've gotten done here. Definitely my go to spot for any alterations, repairs, or cleaning needs. The team he has care greatly about the services they provide and work hard to make sure the customer is satisfied.

I was surprised to see this place has such glowing reviews. I must push back. There are a lot of problems with this laundromat symptomatic of any business sitting back and enjoying a captive market. 1) The prices are scraped off of many of the washing machines. I've heard the staff say (paraphrasing now) "well just look at one of the other neighboring washing machines where the price isn't scraped off." That would be acceptable, except for the fact that there are very similar yet different models of washing machines in that place. Some of the "double loaders" have slightly different signage explaining the different cycles and everything, and yet the prices are the same. You have two in there that look damn near identical and yet one is $8.50 and the other is apparently for $7.50. Sorry but the right thing to do is apologize for the prices being scraped off and ensure that they are put back on all machines on the double. 2) I cannot see any signage for many of the washing machines indicating how long a cycle is. I suppose that a person using one for the first time must simply guess. 3) The washing machines have Spanish writing on them alongside English but no French or Cree, or something else that would seem more suitable in this country. A small matter I bring attention to with my tongue in my cheek... but still. 4) What I described from one of the staff in the first point would seem to be fairly representative of at least some of their overall attitude. 5) The appeal to nostalgia is welcome and a source of comfort, but there is perhaps a case for more modernization for the sake of the customer. Can't justify giving a really bad review, the place does a lot of things well and it is clean, so for me 3 stars is objective.

I've been a patron of Trendy Laundromat & Dry Cleaners since 2016, witnessing its ownership changes over the years. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this establishment due to severe personal safety concerns and privacy violations. Specifically, there is an unsettling older man with white hair who seems to have an unhealthy fixation on transgender women, myself included. His unwelcome attention and stalking behavior have made it impossible for me to feel safe here. To all women considering this laundromat, I strongly advise against visiting when this individual is working. His presence is the sole reason I've chosen to take my business elsewhere. It's disappointing to see such behavior tolerated by the management, and I hope they take action to ensure the safety and comfort of their customers in the future.

I had an extremely good customer experience here. I had never used a laundromat before and needed it unexpectedly during a holiday trip. The staff (or owner) patiently explained everything to me and provided guidance, not only at the location but also beforehand when I contacted them via Google with a few questions. I got responses nearly instantly. And when I afterwards noticed that I was missing an earring and contacted them again they got back to me more than once and searched the place for it. They really care for their customers, and I can only warmly recommend the place.

I was on the hunt for a new dry cleaner in the Annex and was confused why the average review was 3-3.5 stars, while Trendy had 4.9. While I cannot say why the others are not as high, I definitely agree with all the other reviews that Trendy is fantastic. They were helpful and in depth from the get go about the best way of handling my many pieces requiring tailoring and dry cleaning. The length of time for the work and prices were extremely reasonable. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I will make sure to come back for all my tailoring and dry cleaning needs.

My business partner and I have been working with Trendy Laundromat for around a year now and their service has been excellent from day one. You can tell that Faras and Naz actually care about you and your business as well as their own. We started using their wash & fold (pick up & delivery) as independent RMTs and now we have a clinic with many more staff and they haven't missed a beat with the increased volume of linens to process. We can't recommend them enough! "Above and beyond" doesn't quite encompass how we feel about their services.

Been going to this place for 5 years! They always tailor garments and solve complicated sewing/cleaning problems for me with results that exceed my expectations! They do beautiful work. They go out of their way to help me tailor my often delicate handmade, designer and vintage items in the most efficient, yet artful, and cost effective way. The family that owns this business is so incredibly lovely and dedicated to their craft. I can’t recommend this tailor/laundromat enough!!!

If you have been rolling the dice, trying to catch the tailor open you'll be relieved to know this business is FINALLY UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!! This one stop shop is open consistent/convenient hours and ran by really lovely folks. Faras and his wife provide warm, top notch customer service and my repairs turned out great! So relieved to know I don't have to keep shopping around for a new tailor. Welcome to the neighborhood you two!

Beautiful big space a lots of machines, no waiting what so ever...the owner is very nice family business... they give very affordable rate for local business owner ...So everyone benifit.... the laundry machine are very clean ...no stain at all.... clean laundry and fold it very nicely and neat... work 101 which is what you need to communicate if you have any problem...thank you for been patient and clean...super clean...:)

Very well run laundromat with a range of washer sizes and fair pricing and policies. Wash & fold and self service is nice to have. Alterations are even offered. A little tight for space but designed with care to customers and flow. Mobile pay offered I’m yet to try but nice to see. All machines and shop maintained with care down to the retro magic “Laundry Bar” detergent dispenser keeping it fresh, trendy and tight.

I was traveling thru Canada and I needed laundry service in Toronto. I found this place recommended by many customers and I was very please to use it. The place is very clean and they have many wash machines for different load sizes. The manager and employee are very helpful and kind. They have laundry soap and clothes softener for sale and also coin machine in case you don't have change.

I brought a skirt in that was several sizes too large, hoping to take it in. Faris took a lot of time to go through realistic outcomes and I eventually decided it wasn’t worth altering. We also discussed whether another dress of mine would be worth altering. I really appreciate the honesty and friendliness, and I will definitely come here for future alterations!

I was so thankful that they popped up because not only are their prices extremely reasonable, the service is so wonderful! I've used the alteration & repair services of Trendy Laudromat & Dry Cleaners twice now, and both times received excellent service! They extended the usability of torn sports pants as well as some old jeans. In addition, they were very helpful in finding a solution to preserve an old clothing item that had sentimental value. I highly recommend their services!

Great experience every time. I use their fluff and fold service every 2 weeks. The owner and his wife are always attentive to instructions (specific soap, folding, etc) and often go above and beyond. They will even pick up and drop off your laundry to your house. When I need to do on site laundry, the facility is always clean and in good repair

The new owners as of about a year ago take great care of your clothes. They’re so much better than the old owners at this location it’s like night and day. They really listen and clearly communicate, and always do a great job and go the extra mile. I’ve never been happier about my laundry situation and it makes a big difference in my busy life.

So friendly, professional, and prompt! I called this morning to ask if they could express press/steam two shirts, for an event. They went out of their way to accommodate my tight timeline and finished both tops in an hour, for a very low fee. I'm pleased with the result. They seem like genuine kind people - I'll be back!

Hands down one of the cleanest laundromats I've ever used. Their biggest machines used for large comforters are amazing! the owner is almost always available when you have any questions/concerns. I don't even live in the area anymore, and i STILL travel there for anything I need to wash. I highly recommend :)

At 15th of February a man WITHOUT A MASK came in and used the sink to wash his feet, armpits and other body's places, and arrange his belongings at a counter. The laundromat was without a supervision, while the clients were at high risk to get COVID. The sink and counter were not sanitized.

Best dry cleaning service in the Annex. They do high quality work at a very reasonable price. They are also open convenient hours that enable you to pop round after work or on the weekends. And their customer service is top notch. I have no hesitation recommending them whatsoever!

Machines are good but I use their app to pay and unfortunately sometimes it swallows ur money (ie I pay and then it won’t start and I have to pay again). Other then that it’s clean, has lots of room to fold, and is open late! Would be 5 stars if not for the payments issues.

One stop cleaning and alterations on all my clothes. From baby to business, they get the job done right. And leave with me with more time to spend with family. The new owners are Quick, Affordable and Friendly. Don’t trust your clothes to anyone else.

Taking a bridesmaid's dress in to a business I'd never been to before for alterations was a bit of a risk, but lucky for me, it was totally worth it! They did a beautiful job with some challenging fabric and their customer service was excellent!

Our washing machine broke about a month ago, and we’ve started going to Trendy’s for wash and fold. The service is awesome and fast, and the people who work here are so helpful! Will be hard going back to doing our own laundry.

I have been going to trendy laundromat for a year now to get the sheets for my massage therapy business cleaned. The owner is a great guy and my laundry is always done in time and folded to perfection.

I do my laundry here and they are always friendly, clean, and very helpful! Many of the machines have been configured to accept payment via the PayRange app, so no need to carry around coins.

This is one of the most reliable Dry cleaners. The place is very clean and good environment. The owners are very nice. The price is right. The washers and dryers machines are very clean.
