This is a NEUTRAL review. This is NOT an actual shop. It's basically a mechanic shop with a sign to call the key repair business. They charge based on PERSONAL SERVICE by coming out to your house -- so the charge is going to be much higher for the same service if you drive to a key shop. So if you need someone to come out to your house/shop/business, this would work. But the same service to a rekey a door handle was an $80 quote (vs $20 if you bring it to a key shop -- I've had it done before 2 years ago). Once you call, I felt as if there is an forwarding system to a local person? Who knows. They answered and provided a quote. So if you need someone to come to your place, this should work but the price is going to be 2-3x higher for the same service. It is a convenience fee (b/c it is a 24 hr service). So if you want a deal, this is not the place. If you need someone to come out to you, this could be the one for you.

By all means, do not use this company. If I could give it negative five stars I would. Recently I reached out to them to fix an issue with my ignition, the technician came out, said he would come back, and never did. I called TruLox to follow up and they "could not get in touch with him" to get an update, after he was already scheduled to come back out. It's been a few days now.Their customer service was also trashy and the person hung up on me after following up multiples times, which I shouldn't have had to. So lesson learned, do not trust these fraudsters, there are more professional businesses that are more deserving of your patronage.

I accidentally locked myself out of my home last night and started panicking! I google searched locksmith and this company came up. I was skeptical but all the reviews I read were very promising. Allen assisted me and was pleasant throughout the entire time. He made sure to call to give me his ETA which I appreciated since I was outside alone. He was quick and efficient and left no broken hardware at all. Super sweet guy! Best person for the job! Price was beyond reasonable. I called 2 other unlocking services before Trulox. Both said they couldn’t help me because my car is a Mercedes. Trulox said the could open my car and showed up within 30 minutes of my call. My technician’s name was Storie. He arrived promptly when he said he would. He went above and beyond to help me get into my car and he helped me with my key problem. I would recommend Trulox & Storie to any and everyone needing a quick response time and professional service.

After a long weekend of enjoying the sights of the big easy I went to load my vehicle with my luggage only to realize I had locked my keys in the car. I called 4 lockout services and Trulox was the first to call me back and was on site in less than 30 min. Allen was pleasant and polite and got straight to work. Less than 5 minutes later he had my vehicle open without any issues. I highly recommend their services.

This locksmith was so nice and caring about my situation. These locks have needed changing since after my home was rebuilt after Hurricane Ida put a tree through my roof. He also tightened things up and put in a very nice new door knob where it was needed. I recommend Trulox Locksmith to everyone that needs locks changed and or fixed. Trulox was very timely in answering the phone and assigning me someone. They followed up as I was waiting for them to arrive to make sure they had the right address. When they arrived they were so kind and patient and had the tools necessary to get the job done. We had our car broken into and realized our house keys were stolen, along with identification and credit cards. We needed to get the house rekeyed just in case. We called Trulox due to the reviews. We had a technician,Allan,in just over an hour which was great seeing it was a Sunday. Allan was very professional and efficient and was done quickly. Would definitely recommend!!!

Absolute scam. Was told to provide pictures with the system I needed installed on my door and they would determine if they could install it before doing a site survey ($45). Tech showed up and glanced at the system and said "they made a mistake, we don't install anything like this, person who took your call made a mistake", charged me $45 and left. Great!

We had problems when a contractor worked on another entryway issue and managed to get my triple locking door system out of whack . TruLox responded very quickly and took care of the problem within minutes. It’s good to know there is someone out there with the experience to handle this type of problem. Recommend them highly.

These guys showed up…charged my card $350…AND NEVER MADE ME A KEY! I have been waiting to talk with a supervisor for a refund for 3 days now. AND STILL CAN NOT GET ANYONE. Every time I called they said the supervisor would contact me and they hung up. This “service” honestly feels like a scam! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

I cannot believe how quick the specialist came and how quickly he fixed the problem. A very professional and personable technician patiently answered my questions and explained the problem in terms I understood. When they say 24/7 and on a holiday to boot they mean 24/7. Great value and exemplary service.

I had a wonderful experience. The locksmith was able to come the same day I called. He was in and out , totally finished and completed. He had a good and professional attitude. Alex was great!!! Guy was working with 150 stitches in his mouth!!? Only 1 complaint. Just the surprise of the ticket!!!?? Wish that was more of a conversation or even a price guide on the website. But other than that clean, funny, and professional. Definitely would call again and or promote!

I work at a public school in New Orleans and called them to do a quick lock change. It was great! Mr. Allen came out and the job was done in less than 30 minutes. He was no professional and even a little humorous. I would definitely recommend them to any business or residence.

My first experience with this company was horrible. Mr Allen was very nice, but I had to call the Trulox twice, paid for a service that I did not receive. Called another company and they resolved my key within 20 minutes. Do not use this company if you have a push start car.

Expensive!! More than double what other locksmiths were charging. However, I will admit that the locksmith came in minutes of me calling and got me in my car in just a few more minutes. Point being, if you can wait the extra 10-20 minutes then you’ll save yourself about $65.

Installed new locks on my home. 1 month later one of the locks was stuck. When they came to fix the problem at no charge because it was due to poor install my door was damaged and it was then my problem. If you want quality work look elsewhere. Picture attached.

Allen was very professional and nice. He was very knowledgeable of my car. He also took the extra time to verify I was actually the owner of the car. This reassured me that someone else couldn't get a key made to my car. He was also very fast and efficient.
