Pork and Pinot day over the Kings Birthday Long Weekend - Food and Chefs were amazing. HOWEVER we were greeted by a person (I believe named Angela) and that process was a complete and utter disaster. Myself and the group of people we were with are still scratching our heads at how someone can be so incompetent (and rude) We made our way to our area - Enjoyed the food and wine but found it comic that this woman had continued to confuse customer’s throughout the entire day. It became a source of entertainment for us. Will be in no hurry to experience this “shamozzel” anytime soon!
If you love your wine and love finding out more about it then you will certainly appreciate Tuck’s, Ridge. Winemakers again were on hand to share their passion and knowledge, and you couldn’t help but listen and be intrigued by the information that flowed from their mouths. With some off the beaten path varietals to explore along with the traditional ones, it was hard to pass up their Pinot Gris, and it would be remiss not to mention the 2012 Sparkling Cuveé
Picture perfect location with the most wonderful views over cascading vineyard hills and lake. Booked for the HUGO BOSS support office Christmas party lunch and exceeding our expectations. The immaculate grass area was perfect for playing Tucks supplied wooden games with a wine in the sun. The Tucks team organised everything including a curated menu to die for. Service was next level. We highly recommend Tucks for your next event, you won’t be disappointed.
Beautiful place but being a vegetarian the menu was dismal. I paid $35 (including a 15% public holiday surcharge) to have the only non meat option which was salad. It was accompanied with smoked potatoes but they tasted so meat like that I couldn't stand them. When I asked for something other then salad they gave me another bowl of salad. Surely there are a lot of vegetarians around these days and there should be one option on the menu! I left hungry.
Had very ordinary bottle of Chardonnay on the lawn which was disappointing, accompanied by a dry and flavourless pre-cooked pizza. Nice setting with good service despite it being a very busy early January day, however the quality of the food and wine was poor especially when they charge $60 for their own Chardonnay. Selling your own on site should have a lesser markup in my view. Basically left feeling ripped off.
We attended the Pork & Pinot Festival over the long week. What a wonderful experience! The atmosphere, food and staff on the day were extremely helpful and accommodating. It’s a rarity to experience such a relaxing environment that offers the whole package. We will definitely be coming back again! We might even bring our little four legged friend!
My sister and I had a lovely time here at Tucks. Staff were friendly, accomodating and helpful! It was a spontaneous afternoon post beach session and it was the perfect spot to chill, relax have a glass or two and enjoy the views. Make sure you get a few snaps with the swing overlooking the vineyard. Thanks for having us, will be back again soon!
Stunning view and a great spot to sit on the grass in the sun and enjoy a wine a with your pup !. Unfortunately the food was not so great, fried chicken and chips with some salad not really Red Hill winery standard, KFC probably would have tasted better and been much cheaper. Suggest you change your menu guys !! We wouldn’t come back. Sorry.
Beautiful meadows with vineyard and greenery, it is absolutely marvelous to spend with family and kids for a couple of hours. Cons: Drove 2.5 hours to reach the spot 1 hour before closing only to be told that "we are closed". Had to relax on the grass before they actually close at 5 pm.
Great view, unfortunately that's where the good part ends. Purchased a Ploughman's box to go with the wine. Pre-packed straight from the fridge, was missing the crackers and the mortadella completely. Only 3 pieces of cold bread! All that for nearly $30 is just unacceptable!
Surprised this only scores a 3.9. Our experience was top notch! Postcard perfect views on the grassy area outside. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy a glass of wine as your kids run around and play on the large tree swing. Pizza was absolutely delicious too. Great vibes!
Absolutely loved Tucks! Never been here before. We’ve been to other places in the area before but boy-oh-boy we’ll be back here! Family friendly, social, dog friendly too! Wine and food was bloody great but somehow seemed secondary to the whole scenery and experience.
There are no healthy options on the menu. Basically a chose of 2 pizzas, chips, antipasto plates, and a few other small dishes. They are not very accommodating to people with gluten allergies. The only option was arancini balls
First time here and the food was a disappointment, wood fired pork chewy, the burnt cabbage was so burnt it was inedible plus the meal was cold. Paella way over cooked and we were there right on 12 and got our lunch early.
Good wines, a nice cellar door and a beautiful garden. It has a shady tree with a swing hanging of it which nice to sit or lie on. And a nice view overlooking the green vineyard and rolling hills.
Gorgeous location and views. Very relaxed setting. Loved the western twist on Indian st food. Service was great and the kids had a ball with plenty of room to play and explore.
Dry and tasteless pizza, which came to $30 after the public holiday surcharge. Arancini in herb sauce was tasty. Service was good. Will not be coming back.
Beautiful wines and stunning views! The staff are amazingly friendly, they even treated our pup some prosciutto.
Amazing views and chill vibes. Perfect place for afternoon with friends. Good wine and tasty cheese.
