"Ugh so cute I love going to the Two Oceans Aquarium, they do such a great job in raising awareness about our planet's current state as well as how humans impact the ocean and ecosystems in it, I've been going there since I was 5 and it's still one of the most magical places for me I loved the field days in school when we had to go to them, it was absolutely incredible!! All these years later they still don't let down at all, the "Save our seas" shark exhibition and Jellyfish exhibition are my favourites!

Our visit to the Two Oceans Aquarium was absolutely amazing! From mollusks to majestic sharks, the diverse showcase of oceanic wildlife makes it a great place to spend 2-3 hours with family and friends. ️ The aquarium's captivating displays take you on a journey through the wonders of the ocean, offering a mesmerizing experience for visitors of all ages. The attention to detail in recreating marine habitats is truly commendable. The star-studded lineup of marine life, from turtles gracefully gliding by to the awe-inspiring presence of sharks, provides a comprehensive look into the beauty and diversity of our oceans. The Two Oceans Aquarium is a perfect destination for family and friends. The interactive exhibits and educational presentations enhance the experience, making it both entertaining and informative. The joy on the faces of both children and adults alike as they explore the aquatic wonders is a testament to the success of this attraction. It's a place that fosters a love for marine life and conservation. ❤️ If you're in the area, the Two Oceans Aquarium is a must-visit. Our time there was filled with awe, laughter, and a newfound appreciation for the incredible world beneath the waves.
I took my son and wife through to the Two Oceans Aquarium and it was a very nice experience. ait was my wife's birthday so she received free entrance which was nice. As we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff and a picture was taken of all of us. They entire walk through was beautiful and a great experience. They were extremely busy and unfortunately my son did not have the patience to wait for people to move from 1 exhibit to the other so he did not get to see everything but he still had a great experience viewing all of the fish and sharks at the bigger exhibitions. The room with the glowing jellyfish was an awesome experience for all of us. After we did the walk through we stopped at the shop which had a lot of souvenirs from caps, t shirts teddies, mugs and a whole lot more. Pretty expensive but great quality memorabilias.

I had such an incredible time at the aquarium! It was more than just encountering adorable animals; the wealth of knowledge I gained while walking through each section was truly remarkable. Among all the exhibits, the jellyfish room stood out as my favorite with its mesmerizing mirrors, creating a sensation of living in the depths of the ocean. It was a truly magical moment that left a lasting impression. I must mention the staff too, who were exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout my visit. Their warm assistance added an extra touch of hospitality to the whole experience. All in all, it was a fantastic day at the aquarium, filled with wonder and discovery!

What a fantastic trip to the Aquarium . We arrived late afternoon and paid R175 for the after three special. Would highly recommended going after three, as it was not as crowded as usual. Observing the sharks swim around was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. We liked all of the fascinating facts on the various fish and species for just under two hours while we were here. Both lovely and very educational, especially if you have little children. They’ll thoroughly enjoy the trip and be fascinated. There’s a cute snack station for those who’d like to grab a coffee or some snacks as well. Glad to have visited!

Loved every minute at the aquarium! The vibes are immaculate, exhibits are well maintained and staff are friendly. Jellyfish exhibit is a vibe, not as many jellies as I expected, but still cool. The penguins smell, but they're cute, so it doesn't matter. Sharks are great, but the highlight for me was the kelp forest- I could've sat there for hours (see last pic). I spent 3.5 hours there, parking wasn't as high as I thought it would be after all that time either. The website is super informative re: pricing, times etc. 10/10 recommend.
It was my birthday so my entry was free. The staff were so friendly, thank you for your wonderfully happy faces. The entire aquarium experience was absolutely stunning. I took my time to stop and look at everything. I saw sea life that I never knew existed. The divers in the tank with sharks, the penguins...oh man, I had such a beautiful experience which made my birthday even more special. If you haven't been, my advice is to go.

The 3pm special is still ongoing as of September 2023. Lots of kids after 3pm on a Friday late afternoon (extremely short ticket line). There is a presentation on Friday 4pm, which the speaker talks about the types of animals they’ve rescued. The gift shop is a little pricey and some of the items can be purchased in the stores around the waterfront at a slightly cheaper price. Bootlegger coffee kiosk outside and cafe inside.

The aquarium is a hit with children and adults alike. We enjoyed an educational afternoon 'show', where the animals are fed and each one discussed by an aquarium employee. After 3pm an entry discount is offered to South African nationals and birthdays are free to enter as well as 6 days thereafter. Enjoyed learning about the creatures lurking our oceans and their roles in the eco system. Fun and educational.

I went to the aquarium for my birthday at entrance is FREE. I absolutely love this place and all it has to offer. So peaceful and serene with so much to learn. I'm not a fan of the new one directional flow system they have going. It becomes awkward when you're rushing to enclosures past tons of people. Their are plenty of coffee shops along the way

It’s always a fun place to visit. It’s always a popular site for younger kids to visit. The staff take the time to explain various sea creatures to kids and how important the oceans are and what they can do to prevent ocean pollution. It might not be as big as aquariums abroad but it’s well maintained and has excellent surrounding facilities.

We had an amazing time at the Aquarium. We visited in the silly season and during the after 15h00 special. It was really busy, but still enjoyable. There is definitely something for the whole family to enjoy. I love the little photo opportunities that is all over the aquarium. I would love to come again when it is a little less busy.

Very pretty aquarium! Would definitely recommend coming here for a good time , I'd say tho that you should come here not on holidays due to the obscene amount of screaming children that were there . It's a bit hard to enjoy the beauty when all you can hear are 2 year Olds crying. But besides that I'd highly recommend

It was a rainy day in Cape Town and we werent sure how to make the best of the day so we decided to visit the Aquarium. We were not let down and had a great experience seeing sharks, stingrays, and even learning about seaweed and kelp from an amazing gal working there.

If the weather outside is bad, too hot or the visibility is not good for the table mountain, be sure to visit this aquarium. Lots of fish including sharks, several large aquariums and lots of interesting things about the ocean at a reasonable price. Also focused on ecology. I can definitely recommend visiting this place. They also have a children's corner.
The visit was worth it. Very informative and relaxing environment. Educative as you see different kinds of aquatic life. Play very soothing sounds. Don't forget to drop by and take a bite of their carrot muffin at the cafe, the muffin was out of this world. However, the place gets busy and noisy sometimes.

A wonderful experience for little ones! They really enjoyed it and learnt to say new words (18 month old) and science (4 year old). They walked hand in hand most of the way as there is a good layout for very young ones with lots to do and see! Well done!

Always a beautiful place to go, so much peace and tranquility.. And thank you to each and every person who made my engagement one to remember. Unfortunately I can't give more than 5 stars, definitely would, as we always love going there and getting to see the fish and sea life and great staff. More
Great experience for the kids to have close interactions with penguins, watching them run to their pen, then our African penguins being fed lunch. Also educational for them to walk around seeing a huge variety of sea life. Di ving experience is also available, we didn't do it but it looks amazing
Nice aquarium to visit, on the small side but well rearranged. It was quite busy when we went but it was fine. Enjoyed seeing the live shark eggs. Also, there is a convient parking garage across the road.

Amazing aquarium with a lot of marine life of the Atlantic Ocean and aquatic birds such as penguins . You can even get close to seals . The aquarium is at the harbor and close to shopping centers and it’s a lovely family experience More
Can't stress this enough! You need to visit this place. Well out together and thought through. Kids can send all day here. Plus the pricing is decent. We saw the penguins being fed, the sharks being fed, the representatives are super
The Two Oceans Aquarium is a wonderful place to go even if you don’t know trout from penguin. It can be a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town, too, and you’re bound to find some sea creatures to fall in love with.
It was a lovely experience walking through the aquarium. The place is clean and filled with beautiful sea creatures. There's a discount on the entrance fee after 3pm and on your birthday it's free.
