They have now returned vehicle still faulty To LDV Customer Complaints and Ian Ross and Jolie My vehicle has been at Tynan Motors Service Centre Kirrawee since the 27/07/2023. I've had minimal contact from them with any kind of update on when my vehicle will be fixed and able to be returned to me. I phoned Tynan's service today and spoke to a lovely lady called Bridgette, she couldn't tell me when the vehicle will be ready. She did tell me that they are waiting on the audio unit from LDV. I asked how much longer she thought this would be? After speaking to Steve she suggested that I call LDV if I want to hurry them up!! Fabulous for a customer to hear that... I phoned LDV and spoke to David, he said Tynan's shouldn't of told me that. He said I need the part no and the order no to submit an email to LDV complaining about this terrible delay. He wanted to know why we wern't driving the vehicle, I explained to him that this vehicle is used for business and we cannot answer the phone whilst driving so we cannot drive the vehicle as my mobile phone cannot connect to the vehicle. He said that LDV sent a communication to Tynan's saying that the part is coming from local, if the part is in Australia why has it already been 3 weeks and no one can tell me when it will be ready?? So I'm sending this email as I would like to complain about the length of time my vehicle has been off the road and also that Tynan's don't contact me with an ETA. Whilst typing this email David came back to me and said that he has just spoken to Steve at Tynan's, he said that there is no part no and order no, he said he is waiting to hear back from the LDV TECH TEAM about the part, Steve has no idea when the part will be delivered, David cannot speak to the LDV TECH TEAM even though he works for LDV, how is this possible?? David told me to collect the vehicle as Steve from Tynan's told him that if my vehicle is damaged whilst at Tynan's it would not be covered for any damage whilst in their control, how is this possible?? I then asked to speak to David's manager, Jolie, would not disclose her surname or email address and refused to ask her to phone me, then after repeating himself 50 times eventually hung up on me. Wow I simply cannot believe the service from Tynan's and from LDV. I would like the name and email addresses of both the Managing Directors of Tynan Motors Kirrawee and LDV Australia. Huge waste of time - they gave me an online appraisal of a trade-in of low to mid $20ks. When I went there UNDER a month later to test drive a car and get the car "officially" valued, they valued my trade-in at $16k (almost $10k less) despite their acknowledgement it was very well presented and there were no concerns hence it was on the higher side of any valuation. They initially suggested I didn't give the right details to the salesman who has since left them, but I showed email proof that I did, plus showed carsales evidence that other car dealers were also selling the same car around $29-30k (adding of course their profit). All in all was good to test the other car, but it was essentially a huge waste of a Sunday (2 hour trip one way). The main salesman who took over (Alf) suggested I sell my car privately - so I did and sold it within 3 days at higher than mid-$20's price... Giving 2 stars rather than 1 because although they didn't want to listen to my logic and proof, they also weren't nasty.

Not even worthy on one star. Just a woeful organisation. Capped servicing work is performed at the bare minimum so when that expires they can slug you for the work they never did to begin with. Clueless with diagnosing known problems which you can google yourself. The service experience is the worst in Sydney. Dishonest approach with no integrity and constantly trying to up sell for work that is not necessary. Steven the service advisor for Hyundai is a disgrace and possesses zero customer service skills. Thankfully we now take all of our cars to a mechanic who is honest and actually performs the work in the service manual at a reasonable price. Go ANYWHERE else as Tynans do not deserve a dollar of your money as they do not care about customers or anything else. You will see by the response below to call Madeline Tynan that this organisation did not really even read the feedback. Had nothing to do with price. Validates everything I stated in the feedback. No customer focus whatsoever. Well done :)

Friendly, courteous attention to my needs and budget. Our family has purchased 7 cars through Tynan’s at Sutherland and Alf, Rory and all of the staff have been impressive with their customer service and ably assisted with after sales questions and enquires. Antonio Lagos in finance was a source of support and worked extremely hard to find financing solutions at a very attractive and satisfactory result I was not pressured to sign up to on the spot but I was able to go away carefully research all options and companies, consider carefully before agreeing. I never felt pressured to buy and was not shown any car options beyond my budget requirements. Thank you Alfie and all your team for your diligence, friendship and I have no hesitation in recommending this company to any prospective purchasers. I purchased a pre-owned Suburu online just prior to xmas. On collection, I was quite impressed, Huey had sold me on it's immaculate presentation and sound mechanical condition and I could not fault this at the time. It is currently languishing in a mechanics workshop (after breaking doen the 4th time I drove it) waiting on a decision from the dealership as to whether repairs will be covered by their warranty.. I continue to incur significant out of pocket expenses due to living in a semi rural area ... on top of towing costs etc. I look forward to actually driving my new car in the near future and hope that Tynans will do the right thing and repair to the roadworthy standard it was marketed as .

James Margi and Ben He have been nothing short of legendary getting me on the road with my new car. Listened to what I wanted, had the car in stock. I had finance sorted elsewhere but after getting stuffed around by a broker Ben managed to turn around the finance in less than 24 hours, the broker took nearly a week - the car was with me in less than a day. Nearly halved the rate offered by the broker as well. Superb service.... highly recommended professionals with no fuss (only me creating the drama) with putting them under the pump as a single dad needing a car for the school run! Would definitely recommend. Jake helped with an extended test drive, negotiated fairly with us and fixed up a few minor cosmetic things into the bargain. The car is great, very well looked after and nicely presented. We had an issue with the key fob which turned out to be totally our fault, but the Tynan service people were really nice about it, super friendly and helpful. It’s the first time we’ve bought a used car and we were worried given the industry’s reputation but, I have to say, I’m very happy with the car, the deal and help Tynan provided.

Had a really great experience from the team. They were all friendly, helpful, informative and easy going - never felt pressured or hustled. I haven’t had a car for years and was really nervous. They spent time explaining the car specs and showing me features like the music and setting calls up etc. I bought insurance via them which turned out to be a great price compared to six other insurers I looked into. Apparently sales and service aren't a priority here at Tynan Sutherland. We walked in yesterday browsing cars, and when my husband went to ask a salesman a question, he was told "Nah mate we're shut up for Melbourne Cup" Pity, as we had full funds available for a quality used car with even $15k in my handbag ready to make a down payment on a vehicle that very moment. Luckily other dealerships in the area seemed to be open and were much more proficient with service.

What an amazing experience at Tyanan Sutherland used cars. Rory was a pleasure to deal with from start to end, and i couldn't be happier with the decision i made. Experienced a poor outcome when dealing with these guys. Made an offer on a vehicle (+ spent $285 on an NRMA inspection) to which I received no response and the next thing I see the vehicle has been sold on the website? Very disappointed! A second hand vehicle is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it and I was making a written offer which Tynan Motors failed didn't provide me any feedback. Be realistic, this is very poor customer service guys!!

Terrible customer service, 3 months to repair vehicle with an issue from the day we purchased it and now refuse to extend the used car warranty. Have only driven the car for a day - the day we picked it up and has been in their workshop since. No updates provided unless we called them and even then, nobody knew what was going on. I recently bought a used car from here. The sale went through smoothly and price was reasonable. The downside was I only realised the ac was gone once I drive away. Should have checked but also would have been nice to be told as it cost me to fix. Lesson in this is to check over everything thoroughly before you sign.

Alexi the salesman was rude, dismissive to my wife and undervalued our trade in by at least $4000. I’d always been told Tynans were difficult to deal with. Now I have experienced it for myself. Despite being told that I was unavailable via phone for some time, I was bombarded with missed calls and never contacted via the preferred avenue(email). This meant that I never received the required information, thus leading to me taking my husband elsewhere.

I actually had gone Tynan for buying a new car but came across Huey who showed but few of the great deal and ended up buying an used HRV. It was very nice and friendly service from Huey and helped me to buy a car that was best suitable for on very good price.
