I have mixed ratings for this branch and would like to specify this rating is solely due to my experiences with a particular employee Robert. The other ladies and gentlemen have consistently been polite and not overbearing, even going the extra mile when I made some holiday shipments in 2017. Robert however seems to always ask me “What you been doing today” followed by “how old are you/are you old enough to work?” when I simply respond working. Annoying sure, unprofessional at this point maybe; but for the sake of understanding this is his go-to conversation starter I just smiled and answered the prompts on the screen, ignoring his intentions to continue a conversation outside of what’s required for the priority service requested. Because I have been uncomfortable with his “banter” on at least two other occasions, I have reserved my responses to please, no thanks, and yes. Somehow this offended him and led him to ask me if I was ok - more than annoying because again I have been polite and this has nothing to do with the priority service I requested. I responded “I’m wonderful” hoping that response would be enough to satisfy whatever he needed to keep the transaction moving along. This however ticked him off. His tone became louder and I was told “I’m done/ I don’t have time for games”. Mildly curious as to why he was upset and what games he was referring to, I asked “you’re done but you’re upset with me for answering your question?” This seemed to agitate him even more as he (even louder) told me he was just being professional. I’m convinced Robert does not know that his actions - asking a women if she’s old enough to work, pestering her to answer you because “you want to make sure she’s not lying to you about working” and then dismissively telling her you’re done (all the while she, the customer, has remained calm and respectful)- were far from professional. J To add insult to injury as he circles the survey, and I jot down his name he proceeds to tell me “your complaint won’t mean anything”. How did he know my survey or comments would be a complaint? Could it be because he knows his behavior is consistently unprofessional?

I have a PO Box at this location because it’s the closest to my home. I have been having issues with receiving packages at this location the entire time I’ve had a PO Box here. Not to mention, the obsessive waiting. The “yellow tags” that are used to notify you that you have a package are NEVER in my PO BOX! On today, I came to the Post Office to pick up a package. Jameel, the clerk stated that he could not find the package because he didn’t work on yesterday, when it was delivered. He was not able to assist me at all in receiving my package. He suggested that I wait until his supervisor, Robert, comes from lunch. However, he never notified his supervisor that I was standing out front waiting. I asked him did he notify the supervisor that I was waiting and he stated, “No, I didn’t inform him. I will let him know!” The most bothering thing was the lack of remorse as if it’s the customer’s Issues. There wasn’t an apology for the wait nor misplacing my package. Robert is rude most times and his customer service also is poor representation of the US POST OFFICE! I’ve already spoken to the manager about the unprofessionalism prior to this review. This Post Office is poorly managed and unorganized! It is a great inconvenience, however, I will have to relocate my PO Box, due to the horrible experience with recovering my mail / packages and customer service.

The staff at this location is very professional and courteous-- except for a clerk there named Robert. I have to visit this post office often because I work late--- this Clerk Robert, Constantly flirts. Some customers may like this but I don't and think that it is very unprofessional behavior. I personally have repeatedly asked if he could please just check me out as i am not interested in the thousand personal questions that he wants to ask you. Now that he realizes that I am not going to entertain his flirting, he now behaves in a rude harrassing manner. Was in the office today and needed flat rate envelopes, gave me a hard time--every time now when i try to put my pre-packaged parcels on the counter; he tells me that i cant put them there and makes a rude comment or says some type of sarcastic remark. Very unprofessional postal employee. Reading these other reviews, I will file a complaint with the Commissioner's office. The Post office should not tolerate employees harrassing customers with unwanted advances. I literally hate coming to this post office because of this employee's behavior.

This Post office is not functional at all. Do not use. I have had a box here for years and no longer live nearby, so I check it at odd hours. Or I did... The Lobby was never staffed, ever. But somehow they have saw fit to CLOSE THE LOBBY AT NIGHT! They have never had homeless sleeping in there or robberies, but now they close at 7pm on weekdays, closed on Sunday, and closes at 5 on Saturday. There is no salary savings, no safety precautions, just an arbitrary denial of access. If you work until 5 pm downtown, good luck getting your mail before closing. If you check on Sunday well sorry. I always checked after I finished for the night or after church on Sunday. So I need my new health insurance card first thing Monday morning, I am busy during the day today, Saturday, So it is closed tonight, closed all day tomorrow, and doesn't open until 9am on Monday... There is no business case for this, it is pure loathing of the postal patron. P.S. I have for YEARS received random letters for nearby boxes in my box that I put back in the drop box. i doubt my mail in other boxes gets delivered.

The gentleman at the desk is hot and cold. He can be super nice or a bit rude. He may chastise people for asking a simple question. “Y’all act like you don’t see other people. Actin’ like other people aren’t important.” Dude, you’ve been chatting with that lady about her niece for 20 minutes, let this lady ask her quick question about where to drop her package and get over yourself. Or he can be super smiley and polite. USPS makes it more and more apparent that it’s government run. They have to find cost effective ways to compete in the world of UPS and FedEx and customer service is likely the best way to do that. But what do I know? I’m just a consumer. USPS site says that most lobbies are open with self service kiosks 24 hours a day. This lobby was open after hours for many years. The kiosks are only available in the Atlanta area during regular post office hours. There is no 24 hour self service. This location does have slightly longer hours than other post offices but you will wait in line a long time.

This is a copy of a complaint I just emailed and am about to to hand deliver to the station manager at the P.O. on Pharr Rd. I have an online business and 2-3 times a week I have to go to the post office to drop off pre-labeled packages that sometimes do not fit in the chute so I have to go to the counter. EASC AND EVERY encounter with a clerk named "Robert" has been a nightmare. The last time he even locked the chute while I was dropping off mail. I hear him and another person in the back saying its her and speaking with profanities. I rang the bell multiple times and waited for Robert to comets the door only for him to respond with " Well we are closed so I closed it. What do you want?" I have gone out of my way many times to avoid this post office but it is the closest to my home and nearest to my home; I just don't feel like being harassed by this man anymore. This email will also be posted on google reviews as well and HAND-DELIVERED to the post office manager

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WON'T BE BACK! Visited this location on Weds.12/6 to mail back a package. There was a young African American lady with cornrows that was working and rude is an understatement. -She was out right DISGUSTING. I watched her close the door on an elder walking behind her, tell someone they had to leave to go buy their own tape (when there was an entire wall), kick another customer out because he had a question she didn't want to answer, and as I left she let the door close in my face. I am appalled that the USPS would hire someone of this low caliber who can't simply deliver basic customer service. The only positive was her male colleague that was super helpful and really worked his best to help out customers. I live in Buckhead and have no problem driving to a further USPS to receive better service. This one is an embarrassment.

I usually do not write reviews to be negative, however, I just experienced some of the most bizarre and rude customer service from an employee (who seems to be constantly referenced in these comments) at this location. Not only unhelpful, but so condescending. His odd, hateful attitude was very much unwarranted. He claimed he “knew what I was up to and didn’t want to get back in line,” ...when there wasn’t one! He wouldn’t take my packages because they “weren’t finished” and wouldn’t clue me in as to why (I had to purchase the tape, which is fine. But he wouldn’t tell me anything to move the process along). Leaving a business with such an uncomfortable feeling isn’t something I experience often. I asked about his animosity and he claimed that “it’s all perception and we don’t all judge people like you.” Wowza, buddy. Comments say it all.

Best post office in East Atlanta. Frequent sender of items on Ebay and my packages make it out of the ATL main hub faster from here THEN WHEN I TAKE THEM TO THE ATL Main hub. Also, if you wait in line, they will always scan in your prepaid postage (even if it was printed on a different date). I'm always here right at close and it's never a hassle or a problem for them. Line is long but fast. The employees always make a note to talk with each customer and chat a bit. & I am never bothered by this AT ALL because yeah I gotta wait in line but I know my packages aren't going to be waiting days in a bin. & it keeps the employees in good spirits which is RARE in any usps. Also open till 7 & they send out their mail to hub after they close. I can take it after 5pm, packages scanned in, and started travel same day um.. Best USPS ever!!

The reason I gave 2 stars is because at the very least the staff gave me the correction instruction on where to check a parcel locker, because they only do PO Box at this location, no parcel locker. Ok yes that's the whole point, but her attitude is garbage. She did not let me finish my question, heard the two words parcel locker and then read an entire address for me to go to --she read it quickly. I never used parcel locker service before, so I had to assume they have some lockers somewhere -which I can't find online. She did not let me finish my very first sentence, hurried me to 3840 Roswell Rd something. For a long, long time I already lower the "standard bar" whenever I go to USPS, so I still tried to be nice to her and thanked her, and just get out. When will they ever, EVER, improve the customer service here?

  • Tyler Trosclair

I went in today a hour before close. The self service machine was down so I went to the counter. The guy at counter ended up mistaking a 8 for a 3 so now instead of Washington it is going to California. When I call 20 minutes before close I was put on hold….for 20 minutes I was on hold so I called them back. The same lady who answered the phone the first time instructs me they are closed after I told her I’ve been on hold for 20 minutes and hangs up the phone. I proceed to cal 3 more times until she answers again and put me on another hold for 10 minutes. I ended up giving up since there was going to be no help. Now I’m going to have to wait for my package to be returned…if it does and pay again to have it shipped across country. Ridiculous and I’m sure it would of been a easy fix if she had just listened to me.

I will never be returning to this post office. One of the employees that works here, Robert, is by far the rudest person I have ever encountered. He almost made the older lady in front of me cry, and I witnessed him being extremely condescending and rude to the other customers in front of me. Obviously this man is unhappy with himself with the way he is treating other people. I asked him a question about my envelopes and he replied, "Are you kidding? You people kill me." He responded similarly to another man in front of me when he asked a question. Unfortunately we do not work at the post office and do not know the ins and outs of everything and it is your job to answer a customer's question. I am appalled by his behavior and will definitely be filing an official complaint.

  • Geoff Farrell

The gentleman who generally works this location’s counter is consistently a little rude. He generally seems disgruntled and quite arrogant. Basically he treats customers as though he’s “doing them a favor” by serving them. And he tends to go to lengths to not acknowledge anyone who’s entered the store area or is/has been waiting in line. I think he should take a refresher course on customer relations or maybe remember back to the time when he SOUGHT his employment. I’m almost certain that in his interview it was discussed that he would be personally representing the USPS and committed to doing so with a friendly (or least an appropriate) demeanor? How is it that area supervisors seem to not continue to check on staff’s general behaviors?

  • Jonathan Perkins

Terrible service by Robert ! He Literally told me he could not tape my package before I sent it out and accused me of jumping the line while a customer was preparing her package for shipment ! This is the first thing he said to me. The customer in fact told me I could go ahead . After denying me tape , a customer allowed me to use her tape ! What happened to solution oriented customer service? This guy is a bad look on the whole operation . I should have went to midtown location in the first place ! Mrs. Black at midtown is world class . Please make the drive and take your business there !

  • meenal722

I dropped a return package from a retail store in one of their drop boxes outside A MONTH AGO. It was never scanned, the website I bought from is showing that I never sent the items back and when I went to speak with someone at USPS inside I was simply told "We are just very backed up it will be scanned." So the drop box hasn't been checked in a month? That isn't correct. So it was either straight up stolen or lost. And now the store won't give me a refund because the return by date has passed. Ridiculous. What if it had been something more valuable? Very disappointed.

  • T G

If I could give this post office a negative, i would. The bald black guy is the most rude person I've ever experienced as a first time visitor in this post office. He is so DISRESPECTFUL and was rude to each customer that was in line. Instead of answering questions and assisting people with their questions as a person should in customer service, he does the complete opposite. He gives this location a bad reputation. No wonder they only have 2 stars. Worst customer service. He needs training badly or work in the back with no customer interaction whatsoever.

  • Ben Pace

The clerk Eli is great, try your best to get him if he's there in the afternoons. The other clerks are just fine if you know what you are doing, but not as friendly as Eli. Some tips to complainers: Don't walk up to the counter and waste time for everyone because you don't know how to mail a package, there's a full USPS website that explains what to do. Don't try to line jump and you don't get told to get back in line when you "just have a question." Don't act like the lines are a shock at 9AM, Noon, and 4PM. Yep, that's when everyone else went too.

  • 21Shano Lovex

I swear these clerks picks and chooses who they want to be nice to. No matter how nice and understanding you are to them they are *THE* rudest people that I hate picking up my packages here. There was a few clerks that worked before the current ones and they were nice and sweet and helped me when there was an inconvenience such as loss of key or questions about opening another PO Box specifically for business, unfortunately I haven’t seen them anymore because these would tell me I can’t get what I need even though my name is on everything? Yeah ok..

  • Ariles Amokrane

Easily the worst post office I have ever seen. I've had multiple packages get returned for incorrect addresses (they aren't incorrect). I've been forced to come the DAY my package arrives and repeatedly ask the front desk to go fish my package (while telling me that it's not there until oh wait 15 minutes of BEGGING them to look for my package and it shows up, AMAZING). I have never had any mail or package slips show up in my PO box. This post office is ran like a total joke. Whoever manages this place needs to be fired months ago.

  • jeff bloom

Frequently drop off prepaid packages here and the secured drop box is ALWAYS full and never available. They have another unsecured bin that you can drop off prepaid packages but the last package I dropped off was never scanned and is lost. Imagine it was stolen. So no recourse on my end since it was never scanned. Only option from here on out is to wait in the agonizingly long line staffed by one person to have packages scanned that you've already paid to ship. Terrible post office but have yet to run across one that is not.

  • James Yeargan

This place is bad even for a post office. I commonly try to use the automated postal machine in the evening so I don't have to deal with the long lines. The automated machine rarely works. When it does it commonly takes your money, but doesn't dispense postage. This means I get to go, and wait in line which I was trying to avoid in the first place. The lines are always long, and very slow. They never have more than 2 stations open despite the length of the line. Save yourself the trouble, and go to FedEx or UPS.

  • Alida Hines

I went there yesterday and the clerks were fine. I appreciate the fact is they stay open until seven although it looks like it’s not since the door where the clerks are is partially closed. I would suggest going if you need after five service. I wish USPS would do that more often. Update April 2022: The last time I went there, the clerk was on the phone while she was assisting me. I’m not a fan of that type of service. Nonetheless, they have late hours so if you still need them to help, please go.

  • Traci Mascarella

Lack of customer service (except for one young male who was working the counter the third time I returned). They NEVER answer their phone and are not very helpful. I recently visited and had my wallet stolen off the property, they have no cameras, and were not helpful at all in the stressful situation. They told me I need to call the postal police and then just stood there, as if that information was common sense, they could have offered to call for me or get the number? Be safe out there.

  • Kris Phillips

Lost Package *Wouldn't ever recommend USPS after my experiences as of late. At the least don't try this store if you are searching for a location. Line usually takes 45+ minutes, only one person working. So busy they don't provide assistance - everytime I go, I see guests stepping up and helping other guests with options, decision, direction. Lost a large box. 4 weeks later/hours on hold and in-line - no solutions has been provided.

  • Marcelo “Tche” Silva

As you can see it’s posted in black and white letters on their door… 8am for Non-Retail and 9am for Retail… It’s 8:42am and it’s closed, yesterday (Tuesday Feb 8 22) the retail store opened at 10AM!!! Because they said so behind closed gates at the retail store… it’s truly not worth the hassle to do any business at this location under this Post Office administration not having the concern for their customers at all…

  • Desirea Jordan

Rude, rude, rude….and might I add, RUDE. The man of short stature working behind the counter was unwelcoming, unfriendly, and unkind. Upon arriving, I was happy to see that there was not a lot of activity as my business would not take longer than necessary. However, as I entered and encountered the employee I understood why this location lacked business. Take your business elsewhere. You will leave much happier.

  • mr wundafull

They are stealing in here. DO NOT GET A GOOD PACKAGE SENT HERE. WORKERS ARE THIEVES!!!!! I had a pair of sneakers sent from Lawrenceville,Ga. Went to to counter to pick up my package and the guy handed me an EMPTY BOX. I've had to open an investigation 3 other times because they claim they couldnt find my package only after it said delivered on the tracking website....STAY AWAY, THE WORKERS ARE THIEVES!!!!

  • Elena Ortiz

The same thing that has happened to other FEMALES at this post office happened to me. Robert was extremely rude and condescending. I tried to move quickly because the line had taken a while (only one person working). I wanted to be courteous of the other people, just like the other reviewer. He loudly made several comments that made me embarrassed to be there. There seems to be a pattern towards women.

  • Eric Sanders

This place is gone down. They don't open on time if at all. There supposed to be open on Saturday from 9:00 to 5:00. I came around noon and they were closed. The grass is way overgrown. There supposed to open at 9:00 during the week and it's 9:15 and nobody is here. I had to come here on Monday because I couldn't get my mail Saturday. I'm going to move my po box elsewhere. This is the worst run place .

  • George Stuart

I have had a box at this post office since moving to Atlanta almost 40 years ago. It is convenient and up until recently very easy to gety mail anytime. The lobby is now locked except during the hours that they operate. This has made getting myail a little more of a challenge, but the people here are generally very helpful. It is a very busy post office and the line for service can get quite long

  • Adriana Gutierrez Sureza

This is the worst post office. They say that you can’t leave prelabeled packages up front, but the drop box to drop prelabeled packages in is stuck/doesn’t work. Sometimes you have to wait over 20 minutes to drop off a PRE LABELED PACKAGE. If you can just drop your stuff off at UPS it takes a little longer for it to enter the USPS system but if I prefer to do that if I can spare the time.

  • mike s

Year after year this is by far the worst post office , 1 employee working with others walking around everyone is chillin , nothing is stocked , trash and debree everywhere, and the employees that work here always have a stank attitude and act like they are at home on the couch and you are a telemarketer , Christmas decorations are still hanging and falling onto the floor in mid february

  • Samantha Barchard

Drove out of my way (because I don't like my local post office) and was pleasantly surprised. Kisha was the only person working when I walked in and she was nice, quick and helpful to me and to the people in line ahead of me. She was very courteous, efficient and knows how to do her job well. 5 stars to Kisha, I can't speak for anyone else as this was my first visit to this post office.

  • S.T. Entertainment & Reviews

The staff is very nice Terry, and the other gentleman that works in there regularly. The location is kind of Rundown and seems like the United States Postal Service would make upgrades or at least do some type of facelift. They could use more Associates in here at this location. Like I said typically there are lines but the staff is great and works hard to get the line to move quickly.

  • Susanna Dong

the customer service is terrible at pharr road location!!! I went to this store to get some custom sleeves to take home to put on my shipping box and customer service didn't want to give it to me. I called the usps customer service phone number, and the representative told me that they should give it to me!! again, their customer service is horrible at the pharr road usps location!!

  • Robert Seymour

Every time I go in to collect my mail from my PO box, I have AT LEAST two pieces of mail that are not mine and are addressed to different PO boxes. EVERY TIME. I return them to the postal workers and ask that they put them in the right box, but how much of my mail has been put into other people's boxes over the last few months that I've never received? Get it together, USPS.

  • Melissa Griffiths

It’s not the staff that are the problem in this post office, it’s some of the rude and incompetent customers who interrupt the staff when they are trying to serve other customers. Appalled at some of these reviews. Robert especially has always shown excellent customer service whenever I have visited this post office. If you treat staff with disrespect, what do you expect !

  • Nina Harrison

I went out of my way come to this location because online their hours are list as 12am-11:59pm today. However, when I arrive there's a sign on the door saying 9-5. Please update website info, that's a big difference..... I'm very disappointed. I called the number listed and the lady who answered was not very concerned nor interested. Bad experience all the way around!!!

  • CHACHA MOMMACHA

@ Mr. Wunderful Most postal employees are army, marine, navy veterans and full of integrity. I doubt very seriously that your package was stolen. I give this post office a five because the clerks at Pharr Road are very dedicated to their customers and within their limits try their best to make their customers happy even when the customer is very rude and disrespectful.

  • Angelica

This place is STILL AWFUL! They always have a long line, they are not setup to properly accept prepaid packages, and the employees don’t proactively talk to you unless they’re yelling at you from behind the counter which is completely unprofessional. If you like long lines, non-functioning drop boxes, and to be treated poorly then this USPS location is for you!

  • more money

USPS POST OFFICE TRASH YOU COULD FINE NOTHING NO SLIPS CERTIFIED MAIL YOU GOT TO ASK FOR SLIPS CERTIFIED MAIL LOUG LINE ONE CASHIER 1 WORKER HE NEED HELP HE SHOULD HAVE CALLED SOMEBODY TO HELP HIM LONG LINE. USPO POST NEED A MAKEOVER OLD RUN DOWN PLACE NO SUPPLIES. IM NOT GOING BACK TO YOU AGAIN THE PLACE IS HORRIBLE OLD …

  • Jim Magers

It makes no sense to have a dropbox for prepaid packages in an area where no postal service employee is paying attention and anyone can easily grab your package out of the canvas cart and walk out without an employee noticing or caring. The alternative is to stand in line for 30 minutes just to get your package scanned. Really

  • Mary Margaret Lewis

This post office is in need of help! The inside is in disrepair and is very dirty. I am not blaming the postal workers, but someone needs to take responsibility. Also, I have been by after 10 am during the week to find the lobby closed and all doors locked. Our federal government is not a good steward of our tax dollars.

  • valerie saint amand

Worse customer service ever! Just came out of this place and I won't be back for certain! No greetings, had no help just pointed labels at me and barely talked! couldn't give me a delivery day (there is even a way to say it) she was just blunt! Seriously this Post Office need serious customer service HELP!

  • steve wilson

Office Supposed to open 9am. Sat in parking lot till 9:30am no open the post office. Came back 11:15am finally open. Had an odd box but only weights 15lbs. Store clerk refused to try and weight it which means they refused to send it. Told me to go to another Post Office. Total waste of a morning.

  • の息子王

First time sending international packages with usps and last time , usually is DHL but I was at the post office so I was like let me try , I even paid express they said 7 buisness max almost 1 month now the packages still in transit.DHL never deceived me , 3 days is 3 days . I learned anyway.

  • G. Williams

This is one of the worst post offices in atlanta. But let’s be real, every post office sucks. But this… this is ridiculous. Extremely slow, always packed and only one slow person working there. I would tell you to avoid this like the plague, but I see how folks acted with Covid, so…..

  • Bonnie Murphy

USPS should close this location. It is not open on Saturdays when it should be and scanned mail does not show up in the box. Unfortunately, I will need to find a new PO Box address. I moved most of my mail to electronic delivery. I could not retrieve my ballot to vote today. SAD!

  • Joel Humphries

They switched from a 24/7 branch to 9-7 after I moved all of my business’ mail to this location. It’s now super inconvenient during the week and you don’t even have box access on Sundays. Ridiculous situation. Also mail seems to takes a day or two longer than our old address.

  • Round Trippin Rudy

I see why this locations has such low scores. The younger tall guy need to go. He was rude to ever single person that came to his counter . He told one Customer he needs to hurry up and he act like he can’t read … He needs to be in the back because he has zero social skills.

  • Michael Kolias

Staff is nice and friendly. Everything else is a disaster. The whole building is in need of a facelift. I also don’t understand how they go about their operating hours. It’s 9:45 AM on a Monday and all doors are closed. This is unacceptable for a mailing service.

  • Marissa

If you have any sort of time line or things to do later today do not come here. Consistently long lines and staff with no sense of urgency. Came here once and no one was behind the counter. Blows my mind my tax dollars go to this place. Never coming back.

  • Justin Nguyen (JNguyen20)

USPS Website shows that this location has 24 hour lobby hours (important for those with PO Boxes or just dropping off packages at the collection box), however, we arrived to a paper indicating the hours changed and can no longer access boxes or the lobby.

  • Piatra Hawkins

Rochelle’s customer service was excellent. Although she was saddled with what felt like 10000 customers. She kept her cool and made me feel better about the long wait. People like her are the reason I go to USPS and not fed ex or ups. Go Head Rochelle!

  • Patrick Sparks

The mail carriers here have seemingly forgotten how to deliver to a package locker that they previously have had no problem delivering to. Multiple packages have now been given the status of undeliverable by either a lazy or incompetent employee.

  • maggie schiller

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. The package drop is never open so you’re forced to wait in a 20 person line just to drop something you already spent time to package and pay shipping on at home. Makes no sense. If you can, go to another location.

  • Welcome Welcome

Place is dirty, but customer service from Paul and the other lady who was there- were excellent! I'm not a frequent user of USPS services, so I was a bit aloof. Paul was able to assist me, all while maintaining a positive and warm demeanor.

  • Sachin Natarajan

Employees are very rude and extremely unhelpful. I recently moved, they had me wait ~20mins to give me a form and were very unclear on if there were additional things I needed to do. I am unsure why these forms weren't more ready available.

  • Christina Houston

Do not use this place. I dropped mail off and three weeks later fraud was committed on my financial accounts of over $6000. I believe it is an inside job. I will never use any of the US Post offices branches again. Complete nightmare!!

The self serve kiosk works great, until you try to put your package/mail into the bin next to it. It's ALWAYS locked, so it defeats the purpose of having a "self-serve" kiosk, when you have to wait in line anyways. VERY frustrating.

  • Sareo Limmers

I came today right when they were closed and the lady helped me with my package using the self scan and she also was helping another guy, she didn't have to do that but she did. This is the only location that stays open later.

  • Chris Attardo

The wait is unacceptable. There were two clerks for the first 20 minutes of my wait. Then one left for the day at 1pm. This will be a 30 minute wait minimum. Go somewhere else. Or use a for profit company like UPS or FedEx.

  • Mandi Gunningham

Used this post office to ship a large set of packages and was impressed by the efficiency. There was a line and one woman working at 9am, but she was quick and kept the line moving while also being kind and helpful!

  • Kennard Reeves

SLOWEST WORKERS OF ALL TIME. especially the bald guy usually to the far left. The lady with the gray locks at least attempts to be cordial. I concur with most of the comments here. Need some new faces here for sure.

  • Katie R

Wonderful location for weekend mailing! We were in + out within 15 minutes. Kisha helped us mail our wedding invitations and went above and beyond to be kind, helpful and efficient. Also very spacious parking lot!

  • Michael Corey

Have had three packages go missing in 2 months time at this post office. I will not be returning. They have a thief working there. All pacakaged disappeared after being dropped off. Tracking never updated.BEWARE!

  • Alex Weller

Slow, run down, slow, rude, slow, closed when they say they are open, slow, no packing materials, did I mention they are slow? You can walk in and there is no line and it still takes 15 minutes to mail 1 item.

  • Nubian Lotus

so, 1 person behind the desk with a nasty funky attitude btw (THE BLACK GUY) and the 2nd worker is hiding somewhere doing what exactly?? GUYS. ITS DECEMBER. NO WONDER WANTS TO WORK FOR THE POSTAL SERVICE

  • Kait Swafford

I had a great experience at this location. I cane around lunch time and there was no line. Robert assisted me and he was not only super helpful but was so kind and friendly. No complaints here!

  • C G

Terrible customer service- only one clerk working(Robert) who is very unprofessional. I’ve waited for over 30 minutes and that is on a good day. Go to the one off Lenox in Buckhead Station.

  • Teresa Sandoval

Some of the most rude employees I've ever seen. Talking bad about customers right in front of them and saying things like "we are closing in 10 minutes guys, like it or not, no exceptions."

  • Mary Harrison

Pharr Rd post office is awful! Artived at 9 am and they were not open! I finally left at 9:30 and they still were not open! Sadly, there were over a dozen folks waiting for them to open.

  • Cesar Pichardo

The employee Robert who also happened to be the only cashier would pick out his friends from the line to help them. Skipping those who were there waiting in line before his friends

  • Leslie Manaugh

Tax Day. Standing at the post office on Pharr Road. This office is supposed to open at 9a. Almost 930a. Still not open. They could not do this if they were a private business!

  • Lyndsey Harrell

Apparently this post office is closed from 3:30 to 4:30 everyday for “lunch”. After realizing this this first time, I cam back at 4:50pm and still closed. Unacceptable.

  • stephanie hollis

Website says they close at 5. Lady closed doors at 4:14 on Saturday 10/28. If you’re going to do these things at least be polite she was extremely rude and apathetic

  • anum jiwani

It’s 4:15. You can’t tell me you close at 4:15 when the sign says 5. I drove all the way here. This is so messed up. Fire the lady working man what a waste of space

  • Adana Tillman

It's suppose to be open until 7pm and I arrive at 630pm on 1/17 and they say they are closed. Either update the hours or operate at your listed hours of operation.

  • Ivey Barnes

20+ people in line. 1 person at the counter. Story of USPS’ life. I think this wait was long enough for me to *never* return to a USPS. FedEx / UPS, here I come!

  • Brent McDaniel

The staff acts like you are asking them to climb a mountain when all you need is an acceptance scan and a receipt. It’s happened on multiple occasions here.

  • Katherine Bakhaus

Always an awful experience. Only one self-service kiosk at a very busy location. Never a time there isn’t a line and the staff is almost always very rude.

  • Destiny Diamond

TERRRIBLLLEEEEE MISSING PAVKAGES ITEMS BEING SENT TI WRONG STATE DONT GO HERE THEY NEED TO FIRE WORKERS I WILL FILE CONPLAINTS ON EVERYONE THERE!!!

  • Carolyn Scruggs

I have used this post office for 30 years with no problem. Now it looks like a slum. We don't live by these standards. Something needs to be done!

  • Gabriella Delmonte

The USPS workers are usually nice and helpful. The line can get long since they usually only have one person working, but it’s not their fault.

  • Business Mind Graphic

Waiting 40min in line just for the clerk Robert to tell me he is unable to scan my prepaid package. Ridiculous and horrible Customer Service.

  • Kurt

Lobby is supposed to be open 24 hours so you can drop packages off and it’s NOT. Less useful than a Dropbox on the side of the road.

  • Chris Rankins

Employees are very RUDE and for this to be a post office the place is disgusting seems like nobody cleans at all.

  • Driving McCrazy LLC

The service is terribly slow. There seems to always be a long line with only one mail person working.

  • Xaire Ali

Would give 0 stars if i could. Always a problem, and most of the time the employees aren’t helpful.

  • Miss Peggy

Robert the postal clerk was absolutely excellent. Good old fashion customer service! Thank-you.

  • HELEN MURPHY BAILEY PH.D.

The ladies working there need some grace. They might have been stressed from all the customers.

  • Tiauna T.

I be in and out at this location. I’m coming here as opposed to the one closest to me …

  • Heather Smith

The lobby is supposed to be open at 8am. They even have a sign on the door. It's now 8:10.

  • Jacob Kanter

The nicest and most helpful people. Robert and his staff are amazing.

  • Amber Miller

Both postal agents were pleasant and efficient!

  • Ladylibra reynolds

second time i’ve used this USPS never again

  • Brooklyn Butterfly

910 am not open yet...absolutely ridiculous

  • Machaelie Hay

Horrible experience. Staff is so rude.
