NY, US Re: Package delivered by local post office. (In Brooklyn) Dear sir/madam: I had experienced one of the most nastiest things possible by a post office delivery worker: I had a sign on the door indicating to please knock. There was not any knock on the door. I had checked outside after the time of stated delivery time, nothing then was delivered. I was home all day. As I was waiting. I looked outside the door. I saw a very dirty garbage can which I had bought into the area inside the gate. The post office worker had taken the outside dirty entrance door mat with the dirty garbage container placed on top of the package. How nasty. The package contained vitamin supplements for human consumption. This is almost as food! This is a nasty thing that they do. There was another that they do. They should see the customer whom they are delivering this to rather than just leave packages outside of the residence. What is the truck drivers name and work location? Check his delivery records if he is not fudging his time and paperwork. Thank you. This is disgraceful. Yours.

I’ve been living in Canarsie for 33 years and this post office team is unprofessional. If I ever need to mail anything, I would rather go to the post office in Park Slope (on 4th Ave). Sad but true. There’s one particular loyal driver, who works on my block route, he’s very respectful, polite and care for other packages. Every time, he takes a personal day off, as he should, I would NEVER get my package even though on their end it would say DELIVERED/ Front Door. I use my house cameras to track the bs with this other unknown driver. This is the 2nd time a package stated DELIVERED and I never received the package. I have to take the time out of my day to physically go up to the post office. When you get there, the estimate time to speak to the clerk would be 15-20 minutes plus an unwelcome greeting with attitude. The post office supervisor doesn’t hold his team accountable for proper customer service as well. Other mail carriers drop-off and leave packages in front the house door for the WHOLE day and I never have issues with a MISSING package. As a Manager, customer satisfaction plays an important role within a successful business.

I've had my fair share of issues with this post office... 1) They seriously don't answer phones, ever. But a way to combat this is by calling Customer Care and filing a complaint. USPS is getting better with caring for their consumers. Trust me, they will get back to you ASAP. 2) Their lines are long at those "rush hour" times of the day. But they do try to combat that by having a separate line for pick ups/ pre-paid drop offs. 3) At first glance, the workers do appear to have a flat affect. But when you get up to them, their -what would seem apparent- attitude, becomes null. 4) They do not always do pick ups! There have been plenty times where I requested a priority package pick up and failed to have it picked up, YET receive an email saying it was picked up. Hmph. Confused much? Either way, I just complained to CS and received a phone call from the branch manager the next day apologizing for their lack of service. She also gave me her direct line to call in the event an instance like that happens again. Either way, this branch is OK. They get what I need done, so I cannot complain much now.

I beg you not to come here. For 2 weeks I called the USPS customer service line to inquire about how to send a headphone back to a company that sent me a label. The prepaid label was sent to me in my email and it says first class package. I took the bus on a Saturday, then to make it before the office closed, paid an Uber. The inside of the office is a mess!!! I waited on a long line, just to reach a representative who said a few words “we don’t print labels” and that was that. For two weeks I inquired with USPS. I even called the customer service number while I was in the post office and they told me I could get the label printed. And yet here I am going home with my package undelivered. I am confused, exhausted, disappointed and just over it. This is the most polite and honest review I can leave. I wish there was a 0 star.

Horrible if I could give a negative rating I would. I NEVER get my packages on time. For some reason I don’t get until the next day or two days later when my tracking clearly tells me that they’ve accepted it and it’s “out for delivery” I mean come on! They also deliver the mail to wrong addresses..” I’ve received other people’s mail and vice versa. Don’t you have to pass some type of Comprehension test to work at the post office!! Word of advice get your packages sent to your job or another area if possible because this branch is completely filled with incompetent individuals. You guys have to do better and hire better. They’re people out here who will do this job better and for less pay. Can’t even blame the government shut down because they were messing up way before.. Sincerly a very Annoyed Customer..

It’s making me give them a star that they do not deserve in order for me to post up my complaints which in reality they deserve no stars. This post office is the worst post office that I have ever experienced especially the supervisors ms. Jackie Kennedy and mr. Reid they should both not have a job and should be fired. If they actually worked at a corporate job they would have been fired along time ago for their total lack of customer service to/for the business as well as for the customers. It’s disgusting and quite frankly a shame that they are still allowed to have a job with the way they treat us customers for years and seem to still get to get away with it. It’s a shame what the postal service has become

this station is terrible, being that with all these bad reviews you would think someone would do something about it. I hate seeing that my package is "delivered" and it's nowhere to be found. You try calling this station and you just get a busy tone. This is the laziest station ever they should get rid of it and build a UPS with non lazy workers. I am pissed because this is the second time I have not received a package from this postal service. Best service my ass, run by lazy bums, they should all be fired. Do not waste your time if you lose your package trying to find it. I would give it zero stars, but sadly I can't post this review without giving them a star. USPS SUCKS ASS.

The behavior of the workers at the post office was unacceptable. Despite my mother's language barriers, she tried to ship an item today. However, the workers treated her with extreme rudeness and even seemed to exhibit racist behavior. When she requested a pen to write down the shipping address, as no pens were provided in the post office, they impatiently informed her that they only had one pen and could not lend it to her. It is baffling that such a simple request could not be accommodated. Due to the workers' unhelpfulness and discourtesy, my mother had to leave without being able to ship her item. Their behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful.

Minus the appearance and cleanliness of the post office it was an absolute pleasure seeing so many young women have genuine courtesy. Natasha handled my transaction. My greatest compliment is for the young lady who worked besides Natasha today. A young man came in (17/18yo) with a lack of knowledge of how to properly address an envelope, she explained it to him with no sarcasm and not the least bit of an attitude. That was big for me. Did I say it was closing? No rushing no disrespect no it’s time for me to clock out. Kudos to every one working today. Even the lady at pick up window who had a b^^tch for a customer. She did not let that woman get to her !

The lines are a bit long and disorganized. They need to put a sign for which line is for package pickup and which is for other mail related services because the "lines" were so close together that I ended up on the wrong one for 20 min. And I was in the post office waiting for a total of 55 min Update: The employees of this branch seem to not care to do their job accordingly! Several times the mail carrier has delivered mail to my residence that is a completely different address and to top it off a signed packaged was delivered to another house and I've waited 40 min at this location to find where my package is! This is ludicrous!

I went to the post office this morning to mail out a package. The clerk named Clara called me to her window. Unprofessionally, she started speaking to another customer behind me in Creole, and didn't even say "sorry" or "excuse me". Afterwards, she told me what I needed to do but didn't bother to call me back to the window; instead she decided to text on her cellphone. No one should have a bad attitude at the post office, there's no excuse for it. I, myself, work with the general public and I am always polite, no matter how I am personally feeling.

I feel like this place can get a little messy at times. Sometimes, there are things that are not full, like the envelopes or boxes in the shelves. Or paper work that needs to be filled. NONE of their pens work! The staff could be a little friendly. Maybe they aren't being treated nicely? I just don't feel welcomed there. I have no choice but to go to this one because I live on the same block, but if I had a second choice, this postal office would not be my first choice at all. I do not think they take COVID-19 protocol seriously either.

The worse post office I've ever been to in my life, & I've been to some horrible ones (like the one in Brownsville)... there's no parking over here, & the line is always too long, & moving slowly. ... I'm so sorry that I have to drive all the way down here, and deal with the employees attitudes.. it seems as if they all have attitudes in all the post offices in Brooklyn. .. someone has to do something about the poor customer service at the post office. .. I, for one.. am very tired of dealing with these people!

Terrible service. Scheduled a pickup for my Priority Mail package on May 7th to be picked up on May 8th using Click and Ship/Schedule Pickup. On May 9th, the package is still sitting outside my door, yet I received an email stating my package was successfully picked up. This photo was taken at 9:10 a.m. on May 9th! UPDATE: Package still not picked up on May 10th nor did I receive a phone call. I'll borrow a shopping cart from a neighbor and walk the 25 blocks to drop it off myself. Good grief!

I have been there 3 times to send a package internationally and have been told they can't provide this service at this time because of sime computer issue. They are asking one another if they are taking international packages at this time. I am beginning to believe that they just are lazy to do it the times I go there as it was not in the same week. If not, how long does it take to fix a problem especially if you are missing out on making money. And they are so rude and seem to not care

I dropped off my package on a Thursday and even still on Monday my package still had not been scanned. I was rudely told by one of the girls working there to drop the package off since its pre paid. I am supposed to be able to stand on line one a get a receipt but they pick and choose when they feel like doing that. My package not being scanned 3 days later is ridiculous. The attitudes in this post office is so bad. You would think someone is forcing these people to work here

Horrible. I delivered a package 2 weeks ago and it still has not arrived at its location. Wake up people they don't lose packages they steal them.The lines are long because they have like 10 windows total and only 3 of the windows are available. I always ask for a receipt when I drop a package off just in case. Last thing is ANSWER YOUR DAMN PHONE!!!! I recommend people to USE UPS OR FED EX IF YOU WANT YOUR ITEMS/PRODUCTS TO BE DELIVERED SAFELY AND ON TIME.

I had a package that was suppose to be delivered to my work place on a Saturday. I received a email that the attempt was made, however the business was closed. My job is open on Saturdays from 8am - 5pm every Saturday. We also have a front desk clerk that sits directly in front of the door. This isn't the first time the post office lied about attempting a delivery. They're very lazy and don't want to deliver packages... Maybe they need to find a new job.

I’ve never ever had an issue with my packages being delivered to my home until I moved back to Canarsie. Their letter carrier, specifically #33 route, scanned my packages onto the truck and NEVER delivered them. Coincidence? I think not. The truck driver or letter carrier stole jewelry worth almost $1,000 and management is either complicit or doesn’t give a damn. There’s definitely an inside theft ring happening at this post office. Avoid at all costs!

I was told there is no box for the item I have to ship only flats.the counter person seems preoccupied and annoyed even though I was the one who waited 30 minutes on line just to ask a question. I said thank you and she rolled her eyes and looked away. Very discomforting experience as now this whole post office seems unreliable as they have no supplies and attitudes and I have to travel quite some way to get to another one.

Packages regularly lost, hold mail service ignored, they don't answer phone, return calls OR follow up on lost package claims. Employees have an "I'm only here to collect a check" attitude. Managers are rude, careless & GHETTO. This branch is the PERFECT example of how customer service & pride in doing a good job no longer exist. Their seasonal workers are scammy. Packages always go missing 10X more during holiday season.

Has it always been pleasant when I’ve been there? No. I have dropped off packages and then it was missing for a few days before it was found. Sometimes, the workers appear to be stressed and annoyed that they have to interact with other human beings. But overall, this post office has extended hours and you’re able to get things done in a relatively timely manner. Just make sure to get receipts every time you go there.

Post office claimed they rang my bell while i was home and couldn’t deliver my package so i went to the post office to pick it up and some white guy at the window claims it wouldn’t be there because it was only attempted to deliver today. He goes to the back sees it but because It had my nickname instead of my government on the package he wasnt trying to give it to me. I showed him proof and all. Waste of my time

Extremely rude. Especially the girl in the blonde wig and piercing above her lip. How do you give me one of my packages without needing a tracking number but hold my other package hostage and send it back without my consent When both packages were supposed to be redelivered for 3 days and never even left the facility. Half of the people working here need to be fired. They need a whole new management team.

Latasha was the most unprofessional person I ever encountered , she wasn’t rude but she didn’t look up once , just kept texting and blushing the whole time I didn’t even understand what was required. Completely unaccepted this job isn’t that hard to comply. Her co worker offered to help after noticing her distractions and she insisted she got it . Someone here keeps taking my packages, they scan delivered and my package is not at my house. They don't pick up the phone at all. This is the 4th package that said it was delivered and it wasn't. people have lives and they depend on the things they order. Just because you are unhappy with your current job doesn't mean you make everyone else suffer. This post office is the worst.

They should closed this place. The packages that are supposed to be delivered inside the gopost locker which is outside the building but they just keep the package inside the postal office. They too lazy to put the packages where they are supposed to go. The point of using the Gopost is to be able to pick up the packages after the postal office is closed. ☹️
