Okay… I usually don’t leave negative feedback even if I’m not satisfied with the service, but… Today, on 12/16/2021 around 5pm me and my spouse went to this facility to drop off my package (return). I was advised to go to the window #6. An employee (young lady) refused to accept the package referring to the size of the package, that she can not accept it because it will not fit in the door of the package room. The doorway and the room itself obviously had enough space to fit our package without any problem. She told us that we have to bring our package to another location. On our request to try to place the package in the package room she kept refusing to even try to do it. And from here she started to act really rude instead of having some respect to the customers. I asked her to give me a written denial that she can not accept the package because of its size. Then she started to act like she couldn’t hear me properly, I repeated it several times and she kept saying that she doesn’t understand what I want. My spouse repeated our request to her and she just decided to ignore us and that the problem is resolved, so she started to speak on her personal phone with someone, obviously not about the job, like we were not there in front of her. If I were an employer I’d fire immediately such an employee who is that lazy, disrespectful and rude. Very “nice” service and I would definitely give 0 stars to the rating of that facility.
They attempted to deliver my packages ONCE and then when I tried calling them they had me waiting over 40 minutes so I hung up. Then when I went in person to try and pick it up or see where it was sent to they said it wasn’t at this location. I am supposed to refer to the link slip “they left behind” but there was NO slip left or note or anything nowhere in the building or on my apartment door. The girl helping me out was of no help on how to figure where my package is now. I tried going online with my USPS account to try and schedule a redelivery and that option is NOT available. How exactly am I supposed to get my packages. They need to get it together and do something. The package always comes in a decent size box so it’s not so easy to misplace IF they have a proper system in place. But my guess is they are disorganized because my package is nowhere to be found. Their attempted delivery was made Thursday around 11am so by now my shipment should’ve been returned to the post office to await further instructions. And when i called the 2nd time around I was told by operator or answering machine that I would have about a week till they received further instructions or they would have to return to sender Which is completely absurd. This is the second time my package fails to make it to me. Greatly infuriating and disappointing.
The workers and supervision at the office are rude, arrogant and disrespectful. Until management is changed the atmosphere remains the same. Most of the time they don’t answer the phone. When I made s complaint about the lack of mail delivery the rep was very nasty & put me on hold for 20 mins. & never returned. Some of the late afternoon & early evening truck deliveries are not made. The driver closes the tracking info out indicating that no one was available & there was no secure place to leave the package. Only problem is I was home every time they did so. The tracking info says also says a delivery slip was left. But there never is a slip simply because the driver was never attempted delivery. You can make a complaint thru USPS online but to speak to a rep usually takes at least an hr. They will issue a complaint & give you a case# but the problem continues. There’s no accountability within the USPS If you don’t get satisfaction thru them or their consumer affairs dept but it will take awhile & the problem continues. If you’re still in satisfied contact the office if your congressman or congresswoman to make a complaint against a government agency. I’m in the process of doing that now. Make USPS ACCOUNTABLE. ESPECIALLY VANDERVEER STATION. Anyway I could rate it 1/2 star. They are the worst.
Has to be one of the worst Post Offices in the CIty, maybe even the Country. No extended hours, always a very long line with few people working at the windows. Numerous stories of people that mailed out invitations locally (from this Zip, to this Zip) and 50% completely failed to arrive. Consistently delivers packages days later than tracking number predicts. They once had a sign announcing "New - Later Hours to Serve You Better". What did that mean? They changed their opening hours from 9AM to 9:30AM!! Get it? Later Hours!! I am not kidding. Many people in the neighborhood just pre-print postage for their packages online and drop them off there. So you might think they would at least offer a convenient bin to drop off the packages? Not a chance. People randomly squeeze them into whatever window happens to be unoccupied at the time. You can tell which one it is because it is always jam packed. They probably only empty them once a day after hours. Usually there is no parking anywhere nearby. That isn't their fault though, and is probably similar by every other post office within Brooklyn and certainly Manhattan. But it is not always so bad. Sometimes you can get lucky.
This post office is the absolute worst!! First , they DO NOT deliver your packages to your house. They don’t even drop off a pink slip . So this tells me , no one comes to my apartment to deliver my packages like I paid for . I always ended up having to go to the post office 9/10 times I order a package to pick it up myself. This is just ridiculous! Secondly, the staffs are very very very rude. They do no speak to people in a polite way, they do not like to explain misunderstandings , its always a negative experience for me or I’ve seen the same problem for others. Please close this post office down, fire the staffs and get us better service . We deserve it. This kind of problem does not happen in other neighbors hood. When you do show up to get your packages, the staff conversing with other staffs or on their phones and they take forever to look for one package. They go to the back and I think they just hang out until people get frustrated and then they act like they’ll looking for your package. We need to get together as a community and make sure something is done about this!’ I’m very frustrated with is post office .
There’s a lady who has an attitude every time I go to her window, regardless if it’s to drop off a package or a simple question. Attitude for everything. I usually just go to drop off a package and pick up the receipt for drop off. Today I’m attempting to drop off this package and she’s telling me I can’t use the box because what is on prepaid label isn’t for flat rate so she wouldn’t be able to give me a receipt for my package. I explain to her I always use this box to ship out my item so I asked her if I can take a picture of my box. She stated I’m not allowed to take pictures in the post office also explaining with so much attitude the difference on flat rate and priority mail. She then allowed me to take the picture. If you look at the bottom of my prepaid label it clearly states I’m allowed to use priority mail AND flat rate. Whatever her issue is, if you do not like working there find another job. No other employee has ever given me issues except her.
We wanted to send a General Delivery package, employees didn't know what that was which was surprising. We spent around 20 min with manager discussing the issue and finally agreed on the address and got our tracking number. But the same evening we got a note at our doorstep that something was wrong and we should call post office which we did the first thing next morning but nobody answered (probably should check their phone connection). So we came to the office and met manager and he told us that he learned what general delivery was and found the right address and gave us a new tracking number. Moreover he sent a mailman to us with a note or letter about the change. It is a lot to know about all postal services, especially about rear ones, but we really appreciate that Mr. Evans spent time to understand the issue and took time to leave us a note!
Hands down the worst post office that I have the displeasure of having to use for my business. The counter staff is extremely hostile and lazy. I went in because my package said it was delivered (I wasn't notified because they are too lazy to ever deliver and rather leave me slips instead) and was told it wasn't there without the clerk even checking. I asked her to ACTUALLY check. She disappeared for 20+ minutes as I listened to her have a fun conversation with her friend in the back until she returned with of course my package in her hands and the bitter look of being proven wrong pasted on her face. How it could improve: fire everyone, tear down the building, and replace it with a garbage landfill because even that would be a step up from what it is right now. Daycare for miserable adults :)
I beg everyone that has received the horrible customer service that I have over the years comment and raise warnings. I wanna give the staff the excuse of the pandemic and them being spread extremely thin but I CANT! The horrible leadership of the managers and supervisors mainly Mr. Diaz (who no one would give me his full name) is unacceptable. The man sat in the back while the line grew closer together and longer. I would implore any health agency to look into this as well because the room became EXTREMELY crowded with little to no distance between one another. While one gentleman and one young woman diligently tried to take on the line other workers passed through casually on their phone with no sense of urgency. This will not continue for the sake of the communities health and time.
This place is beyond horrible! I hate getting mail from these people. They allow their delivery men and women to scan packages and not having showed up to deliver them. I have installed cameras because of this and yet they still do the same nonsense. I had to schedule a refund for an item they said they delivered on the 3rd of March. I placed another order and they claim it was delivered on the 5th at 10:36am it's now 1:35pm and there is no package to be found. Not to mention last year I placed an order which was never delivered until 2 months after the actual delivery date they listed. Unless they are losing packages and telling customers lies. I even tried to go and speak to someone in authority and the line poured out into the lobby through the doors. This place is pathetic!
This post office is absolutely horrible! They don't make any actual attempt to deliver your packages. When delivering your package they never try to actually go inside your building, they just leave a notice on the outside of the building saying that there was no secure location to leave your package and that they will make another attempt. They never actually ship it out and try to make the second attempt though, they just hold it at the postoffice for you to go and pick it up yourself without even notifying you. I even rescheduled my package to be redelivered and even though they said that it would be delivered on the agreed upon date that I requested, which was a Saturday, they didn't even ship it out and make the attempt. Absolute worst postoffice I've ever dealt with!!
If the post office advertises that they are open during Covid-19, then they should not be closed for people who venture out and get here at 4pm. No signs, no notices, just closed. Have some decency and post hours. Update..went Friday at 3:30 pm closed. Never a sign... Update...today Monday...they were open..hooray!! But they refused to let us mail a registered mail package. Said the USPS does not accept registered mail because of corona. So we contacted the USPS. They said that they accept ALL forms of mail with the only exception being the speed of delivery for priority AND that our post office should be accepting registered mail. Guess this post office makes up its own rules. Update..another post office DID accept the registered mail
The supervisor that goes by "Holman" at this place has a VERY nasty attitude. I submitted a request through customer service to locate a lost package and received a call back from this very rude girl. She was rude for no reason and told me that they were not responsible for my package even though it was sent to their facility. I have a STRONG belief that something is up and that she knows exactly where it went to. I will not give up on this matter!! There will be a thorough investigation and I will get to the bottom of this!! I believe thieves are amongst the workers of this postal service. Whatever was done with my package will come to LIGHT and whoever had ANYTHING to do with ir will be in a serious amount of trouble!!
The is the worst post office ever. The mail carriers always seem to be pleasant. Now the ladies behind the windows. They are always unpleasant and down right rude. This morning there was a line of customers waiting to be serviced. Now it’s clearly 9:10 am and they are ignoring us and standing there talking. One lady was even combing her hair. I came in one day and the same lady had her feet propped up on the counter. In the middle of the day. This place definitely needs to be revamped. If you don’t your job, then find somewhere else to work. Don’t take it out on the people that live in the community. I also noticed how some days they skip bringing mail. I even got the mail lady putting everybody’s mail in one box.
On top of sharing the same pains with everyone else leaving a review here, I'll share one anecdote of their incompetence. I once had to show to a mail person that they should be taking mail from our outgoing box. I watched them open it and there was a pile of mail sitting in there that never went out, one was a notarized letter I thought had been lost in the mail. Nope, they just never took it. I'll second the fact that it's impossible to track packages with this post office. I scheduled a redelivery two days ago that never came. Now I'm on hold for 20 minutes trying to figure it out. Mail is lost all the time. I don't have anything important sent to this address.
I wanted to give them zero stars but thats not an option. I and several other customers came in around 8:40 ish to pick up our packages. Apparently pickups arent supposed to happen b4 9:00 but instead of having someone tell us this (because we could hear them talking in the back of the store, so it wouldve been easy for somone to tell us) they made us wait alone with no clue as to what was happening. Once 9 came, someone finally came to help us. Problem is, we spent the next 20 minutes waiting for them to get our packages. I know post offices suck but this one was exceptionally bad. The workers are rude and unmotivated. Someone fire these ppl plz
Came in for order pick up. It took way too long for the lady behind the counter to bring out my and another woman's package. She was taking personal calls while on the job, and people who came after us got their packages before us. She then tells us when we asked what's going on that she never got the information we wrote then. I literally saw her take the papers at the window. She needs to be fired. This was from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. It literally took a different worker to take over, where this lady left for lunch so as to not deal with me and the woman who were still waiting for our packages. This behaviour is unacceptable.
I am so glad that there is email, this is the worst post office I have been to in my entire lifetime. The staff at this post office have seem to lost their perspective for work ethic and professionalism. They are usually chatting amongst themselves while the line can grow up to 30 people and out the door. There is no respect for the customer and quite frankly they are scary. This post office needs an overhaul, the employees need to learn to respect their jobs and the consumer. There needs to be better organization and supervision. I feel sorry for the postal system if this is a representation of their values and position.
I know nothing will be done but i'll just have to say the WORST post office ever! Lines are ridiculous and workers look like they don't want to be there (it's your JOB). Drivers are horrible with deliveries ( saying they put a notice slip and then didn't ). Drivers at this location don't care about the packages ( i live in a six floor two sided building and they ran my bell and left it in the lobby ) Even when the package said signature required. I've tried to reschedule deliveries and they never get sent out. (5th time). This post needs some bosses to come in and shake it up they are to comfortable!
This place is terrible. When you buy items, they will not give you a pink slip so you better pray you have tracking. I once was told to look through a phone # for an item I knew was there and picked it up because of sheer will; I had to check tracking as I had no pink slip and I had to not believe the lazy woman who told me to call a # rather than look under her nose and get it. The waiting is terrible and you should buy insurance if you send something over $50 priority mail and it cannot take a drop kick since I had an ebay buyer report a disc I sent broken despite decent packaging.
The services is pretty bad when it comes to delivering packages. Letters can be a mess too, because many times I get home from work and see that I didnt receive any mail for myself, yet I have received mail for other people, so I have to put their mail back in the mail box and it makes me worried that other people have received my mail. When it comes to delivering packages its very difficult to get the packages. The best bet is to go online and ask for re-delivery for a day when youre home. Sometimes they acknowledge it and sometimes they dont. Youve just got to keep trying.
So everyone knows how incompetent they are in person. but online too? This is disgusting. I needed to talk to a representative online, so i went to "live chat". It took 3 minutes to connect, and then this guy named Miles comes on. As i talk to him however, it becomes clear that its a BOT! They even pretend to have real employees (not that surprising, nobody works there anyway but still). I just got a bunch of online troubleshooting answers, and when I asked another question it just said have a good day and shut the chat. What a disgrace. What a poor excuse for a company.
I don't understand how mail handlers operate. All customer items are valuable. If a package is delivered and the customer is not home, one of two things; take the package back on the truck/cart, or leave a pickup slip. However, my son's package was delivered after receiving the notification, that it was left by the mailbox. Why? where anyone can just take it. Now I'm on the phone waiting to make a complaint for a missing item. Patiently waiting for 40 minutes. Now tell me where is the consideration for the customer and value in service?
This post office has to be the worst in Brooklyn. Many of its employees walk around like they don’t want to work while there’s a line outside the door. They open the doors but don’t start work until 9, 9.15am sometimes. They need to set a better system where if a person dropping a package, there’s a window that they can use. It’s unfair to the elderly and many people that need assistance. If you don’t start work at 9am or earlier, why open the doors. It’s 9am right now and no one at the window. Not to mention it’s always short staffed.
This post office is completely incompetent. They are constantly mixing up mail from Ave L with Ave I.They don't pick up the phone. They deliver my package to the wrong address and then when I track it,they say it was delivered at my mailbox. Recently they've made a habit of throwing packages onto my porch because they are to lazy to walk up a few steps. Thanks to this my glass pot which was very expensive and hard to obtain came broken into 1000 pieces! Vanderveer Station is the worst post office in Brooklyn!
This place deserves zero stars. The delivery people are so lazy you can't even imagine. They pre-fill the package slips and put that in your mailbox instead of delivering the packages to you. I was home several times and not once did they ring my bell to see if I was home. Then you have to go to that dismal post office and wait and year and a day while the worker takes one slip at a time for a line of 40-plus people. Save yourself some time and use UPS or another service. This post office absolutely suck!!!
Would give it 0 stars if there was an option. This post office is the equivalent of a NYC yellow cab...dirty, out of touch with the customer and incapable of following directions. Not more I can say. Update 03/2020: Don't think they've could have gotten worse but they have. Had a prepaid label package that I dropped off there and they never scanned it and lost it. I sell products over the internet and the buyer never received it until a month later. I lost money and got a negative rating. Thanks USPS!
If there was a slot for 0 that would be it. One star is too good for this post office. The carrier that brings my mail is lazy and unprofessional. I have a mailbox yet my mailbox doesn't get any mail. They leave it on the floor, or outside on the street in front of my door or they chuck everything in one mailbox and leave my business wide open for anyone to see. I'm tired of complaining because it falls on deaf ears. This facility needs new management and all the current staff needs to be fired.
Mail man keep saying sorry they missed me but package was never delivered. Went to the post office couldn't find it, claim it went out still no delivery. It's a business the package is coming too, I'm down the block from the post office, tell me why they claim they tried at 8:30 p.m. to deliver a package to a business. Three time now and still no package. Post Master General please look into this nightmare at this post office. It's a disgrace to the community, and by the way it's always nasty.
Rude, understaffed, long lines... I dont understand how many bad reviews it takes for someone to fixate on the situation at this usps.. everyone knows you dont give a $#!% it all comes down to this.. They have a business to run which everyone is need of, so people will complain all they want but still come here, because not enough voices overpower the management of this location. You want to be heard, take 10minutes extra to go to the next one. But will anyone do that. No lol
Their employees lost two my packages in one month!!!! My super checked cameras, no one from usps didn’t even come to the building at the time “item was delivered to your mailbox” It’s more than a 100$!! When I came to talk to the manager they said there is nothing to do. I couldn’t claim a refund since the package came from China!!! How it’s even possible ?! Someone is stealing packages on your side and you don’t even care!!! This office need serious investigation!!!
Why does it say the hours for Wednesday are 9am-6pm and closes soon. When they closed at 1:30, as they close almost every day at 1:30. They say they are short-staffed because of the pandemic but this has always been an awful post office. Even though it is my neighborhood post office I avoid it as much as possible and travel to others. Why they get to shut down the whole post office at 1:30pm even the lobby which denies people from getting to their rented boxes.
very bad experience. not only did I wait online for more that 40 minutes, (and by the way, there were only 3 people on the line to pickup) the workers are very rude . they do not do what they are supposed to do and that's why the wait time for packages are very long. they don't even notice the walls in the postal office are so thin that I can hear them laughing not completing their tasks. on top of that, the manager is either M.I.A. or doesn't want to talk.
I went to the USPS location near me and change my address in July 2 week before I relocate on august 1.They are still sending my letters to my old address. It’s over 7 weeks now at my new address my mailbox is empty everyday. I call customer service and they found nothing in the system for me and my kids. I don’t know what this man has done to my 3 applications. This is such inconvenient and a waste of time. USPS agent need to be retrained.
I am generously giving one star because it's impossible to give any less. On more than one occasion they have lost my packages, left pickup slips and claimed my package was "lost" inside the post office. I truly believe at this point that a few of the workers are stealing from the public. When I come here for help, the staff can be heard laughing and joking through the walls. No wonder USPS is going out of business. It's such a hack shop
Terrible customer service, always long lines, not enough workers there. The workers that are there are rude and extremely lazy. No one at this post office works. You can be waiting on a line for over 45 minutes easily. Customers are constantly being disrespected and end up getting frustrated rightfully so. When you complain to the on site manager, he doesn't care. TERRIBLE POST OFFICE FOR EVERYTHING! I would give no stars if I could.
Believe me when I say, they have improved a lot. Back in the day, the line would be out the door, and they would be back there conversing. Now it's a bit better. There are two Asian employees that are very helpful; there is also two Black employees, the older is pleasant an accommodating, but the younger of the two always seem to be in a hurry to get you away from the window, always seem tired or not happy to be serving.
I hate this post office with a passion. They close the building down way before the stated time and it's frustrating. There was once a time where my entire building wasn't getting packages and we had to go there to pick it up talk about an inconvenience. I swear the government needs to do something about this shady postal service cause I'm sure this location isn't the only location people are complaining about.
Been in this neighborhood for 19 years and every year service gets worse and worse. Never enough people in the windows, nobody knows where your packages are. Few years ago office closed separate window for delivery pick up . Now have to wait long time for some one to collect delivery notices and then wait again to get package (if they can find it). One can spend easily two hours trying to pick up delivery.
Yesterday I stayed home whole day expecting delivery. No one showed up,no notice left on the door yet on the tracking history it shows that they did come and that notice was left!!! To make things worse, like the other reviews mentioned, - they never redeliver! Have to go to post office myself now and pray for the package at least to be there. Please, tell the delivery person to do their job! Thanks
Worst post office I ever been too…the lady in there has a very bad attitude and is very disrespectful…she got mad because she didn’t scan the boxes and started coming at me because she had to do her job….I won’t be coming here anymore because they make you wait in line until there done with their conversation or just have you in life looking stupid…it’s not my fault you dont want to do your job
This post office is pretty efficient when it comes to delivering my packages. The clerk's are funny and very helpful. I don't have a problem when I come here and I have been coming here for over 20 years. Supervisor Ms. Antoine is a delight......very helpful. When I had a problem locating my package, she came through with flying colors and got my package in my hands by the end of the day.
The staff is rude. They don't try to help you. I called their customer service line for a package that was not delivered and on the phone they directed me to go to my local post office. When I got to the post office one of their workers saw my ID and she instantly said the package wasn't there. She didn't even look or anything so I left. Next day it turns out the package was there.
Routinely understaffed with long lines. Dirty and dark. Carriers are somehow unable to put the mail in your door's mail slot or box and just leaves your mail on the ground just inside your gate. Fraudulently claims to have delivered a package on a Sunday, when they're not even open, and won't redeliver. Items "go missing" with no notes of them being returned to sender.
If i had a choice to give a zero star i would..that place doesn't deserve a star. The service is terrible and they lie about package delivery ...I got disappointed so manyy time where my packages are concern that thinking about it bring tears to my eyes. The only reason why I gave this one star is because one guy tried his best to help so this one star is for him only.
Disgusting service. Good job at losing my 70 dollar package and lying saying that it was delivered at the front desk/mail room when my building doesn’t even have that. I also get missed slips...from homes that are 5 blocks away. You have a government job, get paid well, and have benefits and you still can’t do your job and do it terribly. Rancid workers.
I know they don’t care, I know my review won’t change a thing, but this post office, like most of them, is terrible, disastrous, horrible, especially on Saturday! I waited in a line like I was in a line for a sliver of bread during communism. I wish I could go back myself and look for my own package. I wish they would care, but they don't. No one does.
This post office sucks, manager and supervisors need to be fired and replaced by professional and customer service oriented staff. My package reached the post office since February 12th 2016, today is February 17th 2016, l still can't get it. The clerck is too lazy to look for it and the manager/supervisors refused to talk to me to address my concern.
OMG, the worst service ever. Why are 3 windows open at the sheepshead-bay location but just one here in the middle of the day? I stood on line for over an hour just to buy stamps! Poor clerk at the only window providing service looked exhausted. The windows were so full, people couldn’t drop off their packages. No pickup service either. Ridiculous!
Sent my son an envelope which contained a birthday card and a gift card, it was insured, was never received. Since August 6, 2022 the tracking number states "delivery status has not been updated"! Placed a claim and now I find out gift cards are not insured! Always a problem sending anything to my son's address. Worst post office I have ever seen!
I feel bad giving this place one star. Because this place deserves nothing. I went here to send a certified letter once. She wanted me to fill something out. Didn't have a pen. Nowhere was there a pen in this entire post office. I had to go out and buy a pen and come back. It was raining. Post offices are all bad in NYC, but this one is abysmal.
I got there just before closing (figure 3 minutes ago) to ship something out and there was a line, however, the woman at the second counter called for anyone dropping off to come forward, therefore the process was very quick and painless. If something should go awry, I’ll update this review, at the moment though, I have nothing negative to say.
This place is worse than the DMV. The carriers will often not deliver packages and only leave a note saying they made an attempt so that you have to go yourself to pick it up. Inside the office they are incredibly slow and often have only one window open while others stand around not working. Mail is lost... soo many things I hate this place.
I went to this Post Office on a Saturday, there was just a handful of people there. The agent was polite and quite helpful, she answered all of my questions and I was in and out of there within about 15-20mins. More people need to write positive reviews when they have them. To the workers in this Postal Office, your service is appreciated!
They never pick up the phone. When you reschedule a delivery , they never do . Unless you call USPS directly and complain you'll never receive anything from them . They need to fire everyone there and hire people who actually wants to be there and do what their suppose to. Just overall terrible service , and lazy workers
I've read a lot of the things that people have said about this post office but I can't see any of this Truth for I had a great experience with the people who have taken care of me. They were courteous friendly and professional. I went out my way to go to this post office. The one on Utica and Lenox is truly a nightmare.
Hands down the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. It has been consistently this way for years though. Their employees are routinely disrespectful & take zero initiative to solve even the most minor problems. Do yourself a favor and find another servicer or usps location. Abandon all hope ye who enter here.
Traaaaaaash all around. Liars, thiefs definitely, and the guy who runs this office is definitely unfit for his position. It sad honestly. I never had any issues with any other usps until I dealt with this location. There are a few exempt employees who do a decent job but overall this place is a crap hole
Every time I come here there’s always an issue. 99.9% of these workers have an attitude when you ask them a simple question. They work like they don’t want to be there, they make you waste your time on long lines just so they can say “I dont know Where your package is.” They are the absolute worst.
Probably the worst post office in the world. Slower than all hell and constant (over 50 years) of misdelivered mail every single week. The manager, some guy named Diaz doesn't give a damn about your complaints and he is very rude and dismissive. Maybe if he got fired the place would be better.
They dont even deserve a star! Mail only delivered when they want to. Mail is missing, checks missing, important documents. I went to give a complaint and no one there to take it. You cant reach anyone on the phone! Something needs to be done! Who can we call and how do we get this fixed!!
Was gonna ship something overseas, waited about 10 min in line, got to the front, they told me she can’t do anything because the computer is down. You couldn’t have told your customers as we were waiting that you can’t do ANYTHING? It’s the computer’s fault, sure, but like, communicate!
I returned a phone to my carrier...I thought once I gave it to the person behind the desk I would be fine...big mistake...one month later and no details on what happened to the phone...had I took notice of all the horrible reviews this place is getting I wouldn't of been so trusting.
This is by far the worst post office I've ever been forced to use. I buy from Amazon frequently and never have issues with UPS or even FedEx but these guys won't even buzz my apartment to deliver packages, just leave them on the truck till 8pm and then say they 'attempted delivery'
Lying about deliveries, pretending to ‘attempt delivery’ át 6:55 ÁM, rude and aggressive; this is urban government devolution at its end stage: tribal savagery. If you can at all avoid coming here in person, do so. Don’t expose children to this place. Just don’t go; it’s not safe.
There is no zero star option. The carrier of packages does not actually attempt delivery or properly track packages. 90% of the time I have to go hunt my package down, and am met with only rudeness when informed that it is lost. I can't imagine how it could possibly be this bad.
Went there twice the week before Christmas (weekday, around noon), and found the lines to be short and the staff helpful. A worker saw, by the card in my hand, I was in the wrong line, and got me to where I needed to be. Definitely better than other post offices I've been to.
I’d rather get attitudes from McDonald’s. They have better services. I’ve been here for 5 hours. And these staff are eating a bacon egg and cheese. I can smell it. By the time I get my package. I’ll be 33. And a virgin. Shoutout to the UPS. Where’s the no stars when I need it
This is a catastrophe. So my mail carrier came and simply did not ring my door, however left a note checking of first attempt. Keep in mind I was home all day. This was the second time this happened this year so far. I am taking this issue to this district community board.
I work at home, there is no excuse for the delivery driver leaving a note without even attempting to ring on the security pad for me to come down to receive my package. This happens for everything I order that runs through USPS. Please hire competent delivery drivers.
Not surprised that I have a bad experience ALL the time. I'm starting to believe its all USPS locations. The staff are always grumpy, they never have pens, boxes, or priority tape out. It's ALWAYS filthy and crowded. & These are the places that say they're not hiring.
There are many people looking for good employment! Every single employee at the location needs to be fired without review for being unhelpful, rude and for just not wanting to be there! This location needs a make over it feels like your going into some jail facility!
If the was a no star option I will give it to them. The carriers/driver will not make the attempt to deliver packages even if its 1 block down from them! The site itself is a hot mess. But that’s what you get when you let a bunch of untrained monkeys run the place.
Closes at 3pm monday-friday and 2pm on Saturday. No indication on Google or on USPS website. Lots of people commuting here to find it's closed. Not to mention they have falsely marked my packages as undeliverable when I'm home and I never heard the buzzer go off.
Customer service is always the worst in the country! All Black postal agents with nasty nasty nasty attitudes Waiting for complete automation one day to take over these jobs! I rather deal with robots than a disgusting human with funky disposition! …
They sent me 2 hours away to another post office claiming they had mystuff, but when I went their they said how my package would never be 2 hours away it should be in my local post office which is this one. They always have a problem with my package
Extremely rude and unhelpful people. I never leave reviews, but this honestly pushed me to do it. Lost my package and gave me a comically bad attitude. The stickers on the chair at desk 6 perfectly summarize their approach how they treat customers.
Phone newer answers! staff is pure hell demons, redelivery?! forget about it! you need to go there yourself! I waist 3 days wen redelivery was schedule. I guess nobody gives a F***C about it. It is happening for years and not a slight good change!
I get to the post office today it’s empty surprisingly because there’s always a long line and workers who don’t move with urgency they move like there burnt out anyways both my tax returns in terrible condition one torn the other wide open
If you are planning on picking up a parcel that is being held at this post office I would recommend collecting on a Saturday morning at opening time. Window 6 will be attended, there will be no line and you should receive prompt service.
If there was a way to provide this facility with no stars I would. Incredibly horrible customer service. As people of color we need to be better and do right by the people we serve in our communities.
They close at 2pm on Saturday however, they stop letting people in at 1:30. The lady at the door was very aggressive and rude. Straight up attack us for wanting to send a package at 1:30.
This is the WORST Post Office in Brooklyn. The workers here are soo slow and you can tell they don't care. It's 9 o'clock and I'm still waiting to be seen to take care of my package.
Always has a big line on the parcel pick up area and still from the 6 and 7 window, only one of the window is open. They need more stuffs. The wait time in the line is ridiculous.
The worst Post Office ever!!!! Scheduled re-delivery, and waited whole day at home very important letter. The delivery guy didn't show up and the status stays in-transit!!!!
What a horrible place! Super long lines and horrible staff. And while you wait the people who wait in line are swearing the whole time. No wonder USPS is such a failure.
I would like to know why it says that they’re open at 9 AM and I’m still waiting in front of the post office at 11:42 pm and it’s still not open
So is it closing at 6pm or 5:30pm? Or 5pm? Every time I came, rushing after work to get here before 6pm it is always closed! Like completely!
USPS in itself is trash this is just an example of one of its facilities that present just exactly everyone is talking about.
Won't answer phone. Loses mail frequently. Delivers mail for other addresses to my house regularly and then redelivers it
