Where do I begin?? First off for years I haven't receive my packages at my home address PRE- COVID. And Now, it's so much worse. I have to go out of my way and take my rent check in person to my landlords' office. It's this particular site. The one near me in Queens is an absolute dream. The sutter office in Bklyn needs a good leader and micromanaging I think the new staff are trained in the ways the disgruntled did the work. I ordered my sons' Xmas gift and forgot to change the address. Well at no surprise I didn't receive it. I contact the seller nothing can be done but to go in person. (They are supposed to redeliver and hold the item 5 business days) So reluctantly I take off from work (to stay within the 5 days) and dropped of my son at school. I get to the post office at 8am and wait for the doors to open at 9am. It was cold and rainy. I get in and I am told the package is not there. Oh I'm not surprised. I give the tracking number. Hmm she says it's in NJ. Hmm wonderful. I leave bc I am so upset. So I contact the seller again. Guess what I get it today and it's damaged!( Its a karate bow staff 6 ft). Its missing a broken piece. Unbelievable. Now I have to make a complaint that no one will read or care about. I will try social media maybe the news bc this is ridiculous

If I could give zero stars trust me I would. This is the post office from HELL. The EMPLOYEES are the WORST they have ZERO customer service skills. If you want to be cursed out and disrespect just go to this post office or speak to one of the postal workers from this branch. I can not find the words to express how HORRIBLE my family AND I HAVE BEEN treated by a postal worker from this branch who was blatantly not delivering our mail and when we would inquire about why our mail was not being delivered he would say that our mail was " JUNK" he would curse at my 75 year old grandmother and spend the majority of his work day talking Spanish LOUDLY on his cellphone. He is so indulged in his cellular phone conversation during work hours that he just MIXES up ALL the mail in the neighborhood WHY ON YAHS green earth am I getting the neighbors credit card statement ?? WHY ON YAHS green earth does everyone know the mailman has arrived by the LOUD Spanish talking outside your window which is him carrying on his personal cellular phone conversation during work hours. This is the worst post office and the worst postal workers on the face of YAHS green earth just check the reviews. When will they investigate this location? NEVER!

I have lost several packages due to this post office. The employees are extremely rude and non efficient. I have had several issues and when i go to the post office, i am given the run around, attitude, long wait in line and the employees never seem to want to help me at all. The delivery people never deliver to the door. They scan packages as left with individual and never even knocked on the door. When signatures are required, they don't ask for signatures and packages get lost that way. Some packages are stuffed into the mail box and damage the item. they always scan as "notice left" and that has happened 1 time only!!! They never leave notices. I have to look on m own for the status of my package!! for such a big POSTAL SERVICE< these folks here sure do bring USPS name down to the dirt. I have not had not one good experience with them. They had 225 reviews on internet, and 1.4 stars!! Someone needs to do something about them. A year ago, a manager cursed me out and told me she did so, because she did not like me. This is ridiculous!!! this place should be closed down, remolded and new staff needs to be set in place immediately. Everyone pays for the service and everyone deserves good service no matter what the area is.

I have been living at the same address for over 26 years. Mail delivery is great--mail carriers are courteous and helpful. Package delivery is the major problem. Deliverers will knock or attempt to reach someone at home some of the time. At other times a slip is left or not at all. I know this because I have been home when they write or post online that an attempt was made to deliver. I've also checked online where it states that a slip was left when it wasn't. Once or twice--coincidence. But when you shop and avoid using the USPS, you know there is a problem. Worse is going to the post office. They seem overwhelmed. I'm usually surrounded by other customers that are complaining about the same issues I've faced and some that are quite vocal about their displeasure. I believe they may be understaffed. I have friends that work at the post office--it's hard work. And if you have to deal with customers that are unhappy with their delivery service, it can be a stressful work place. Don't know what needs to be done but something has to change.

Gave this place a try even with the horrible rating and wow the reviews couldn't have been more accurate. The absolute worst customer service. The middle clerk was on her phone laughing while attending me; extremely unprofessional. No pens available. I asked the clerk for a pen she said they didn't have anymore (how are there no pens in a post office?). I asked if I could borrow her pen to write down an address and she wouldn't let me use hers because she had to attend other customers when there were NO other customers in the entire office. Without a pen, I didnt get to fill out anything and walked out as an unsatisfied customer. The rude clerk needs to be fired with her disgusting attitude; it's embarrassing that she works for the USPS. The incompetency of the staff is beyond the roof. I will never return to this ghetto place and I do not recommend you go either if you want good service and decency. Save yourself the time.

This mail carrier has to be reviewed. It is very unprofessional for him to automatically post a delivery attempt notice on my door without evening ringing the bell . I have been at home and waiting for packages ; not once did he bother even knocking. I have went to the Post Office itself and the employees only say “ He will go back around” . I have had to physically wait in front of my door for my packages. For someone that works all day and gets home late evenings it is so inconvenient to have this type of behavior. ESPECIALLY if there is always someone at home and the instructions on the package say the carrier can leave package at the door . This is so ridiculous!! The few times i did deal with this is because the order goes from “ FedEx” to USPS . I always prefer to pay extra just because i know UPS, FedEx do not act in such a miserable manner

They aren’t capable to handle critical problems in the system and can’t provide solution and also can’t show the proper way in professional manner. I told the lady to solve my issue , I need a conversation with the post master. She told me NO with unprofessional manner but gave me the help desk contact number. Later I asked for form, she replied me NO, they haven’t it right now. But I saw the form is given in the other counter. The working older person have a good heart to help the people but don’t know how to manage critical task. That’s the story. I think some of them need proper supervision for correcting their manner and also training on critical issues. Later I file complaint against system and issues through help desk and the next day they called me and done my tasks with saying apologized over the phone.

If I can give this place negative 5 stars I would. This place is so unorganized and the employees are filled with tremendous amount of attitude. The employees spoke to me with such disrespect just because I asked why my package said attempted when there was no attempt. I have footage of the delivery not even being attempted, my house is a open house with a open door and yet the delivery driver wrote attempted and no access to the house. This is unacceptable and irresponsible. At least when you go into the postal office they should be able to answer you or address your concerns. When I went I even approached them nicely and the a women had the biggest attitude. Everyone else in the postal office agreed. USPS you must address the issues of this location if you guys even CARE about your consumer.

The worse place Ever. No respect for customers. I went there to do a few passport application and was told they do passport pictures as well. My appointment clearly stated from 11am to 12. This older lady who is in charge of the Application inform me where to go and and take the pictures and assure me she will assist when i return. On returning the same lady was missing for about 10 mins. She came out from the back and said what happened and I said i was here waiting she said its a lie and as a matter of fact she's not doing 4 application because she have her break at 12. She was so nasty and unprofessional. I would never recommend anyone to go there. All shes focusing on is her break. She didn't even said let me start and see how many we can do before her break. Disgusting

Slow, disorganized, attitudes. I've waited over an hour on at least 10 occasions to pick up a package, only to be told it's not here or it might still be out with the delivery person. Even though I wait at least 2 days after I received the notice to go pick up. And don't think you can schedule a redelivery, that's a joke as well. That Detox album will get to you before your package ever will. Calling? In the 4 years I've had the displeasure of having to deal with this place, I've gotten through 1 time over the phone and that was on a fluke. Even the stuttering guy who picked up asked how did I 'interrupt' his call. Even on a busy day this place only has 2 windows open and are always trying to upsell their services, slowing down the lines. Avoid this place if you can.

Absolutely the WORST post office I've ever had to deal with in Brooklyn. NONE of my packages ever arrive at my house and whenever I track them, there is always some reason such as "Attempted Delivery" or "Blocked Receptacle". This is never the case nor do they even leave the note they're suppose to on my door. I always have to hunt down my package and make several trips to this post office just to retrieve it. Not to mention the bad customer service at the actual office. I highly suggest you use UPS or FED-EX if this post office is your option in this area. I know I'm not the only one because I've read many other reviews with the same issues. I wouldn't give them even one star if it was possible.

The staff is very unprofessional. No customer service skills, they don't deliver packages and lie, LIE that they attempted to deliver it but no one was home. I'm disabled, I'm always home with 2 dogs that bark when someone knocks on my door. they need better training on how to attend their customers. ALL DAY, ALL DAY, they have an attitude, bunch of hood rats!. Older lady that's there, yells and is very nasty treating people. Every time I go there to pick up a package, she doesn't say good morning or good afternoon, just "what you here for?" Someone please fire them all and start with a new batch of trained employees. I personally do NOT recommend this nasty and dirty post office.

A couple of years ago, I would have given this post office 1 star. It was chaotic, the workers gave everyone an attitude, the lines were out of the door with no relief in sight. However, I give them credit; they have improved year by year. Do they need to hire more people? Yes. Can their attitudes be better? Yes. But every time I’ve gone there, I get my package in about 15-20 minutes. A couple years ago, I would have had to wait for an hour. It’s way more organized now. I still dread coming here but as I said, it’s a better place. In terms of the delivery driver, sometimes they ring the bell but they almost never leave a notice so make sure you are on top of the tracking yourself.

I'm changing my rating due to recent experience but the people there working don't even want to hear you properly. The guy taking care of the packages u come to pick up literally ignored me regarding a package that arrived at their post office and sitting there for 3 days now and yet tells me that its not there without even checking the tracking number I gave them. I was telling him i moved out of the area but dint notify the address change yet so the package arrived here and sitting here but he wont listen. When I went to the post office of the area I am at now was surprised hearing that. I always see people have bad comments about this post office but now i know why.

Very rude Employees there, Especially Wanda, She is one of the rudest there , speak to people in a condescending manner, She never listened, all she wants to do is talking. Wanda is extremely rude and unprofessional , Jacquie is the nicest one . If I could give this postal office 0 stars I would. There is absolutely nothing good that I can say about this postal office and the people that work there. They can’t answer simple questions about your packages and delivery. I was waiting in line and Ms Wanda called another lady that she knew to skip the line, when I questioned her , she rudely replied “Wait for your turn” . Very unprofessional. 0 star

This post office is one of the worst locations in Brooklyn. The employee loves to misplaced costumer's packages but claims they Delivered it. I ordered two packages I never received, and when i called the correct channels, they close out my case. I regret doing business with this postal service. Now I have to send my packages to my family home address To receive them.i am very fearful when getting packages from this place because there is a likely chance that i will I never received them. I hope this place gets shut down or maybe hires new employees because the one they have not is the worst. The Post office Location Closed down.

This is what I will say...I have been coming here for years literally at least a decade. While they are understaffed (no fault of their own), they really try their best. I know that it is overwhelming for them, so for that reason I give them grace. They are servicing this community, my block, your block, NYCHA Cypress, some of Linden Plaza, some of NYCHA Pink Houses, so give them grace. Can they be more pleasant? Yes. Do I wish that the lines weren’t so long? Yes. At the same time I wish USPS would hire more people for this location both at the clerk counter & in the back. Then create a better system for package pickup.

This have been the worst 3 months of my life moving into this Postal Zone. I can’t get one package delivered to me. They never update and scan the packages correctly and lie about attempting to deliver. I’m on medical leave and pregnant so I am home all day everyday there’s no reason for me to always have to find a way to the post office to pick up my packages. This is a big inconvenience. Moving from Canarsie to East New York was the worst idea ever when it comes to me receiving anything from the Post Office UPS or FedEx. It’s not fair that because it’s a building they treat your paid goods as if it’s nothing.

This post office is the absolute worst. I never received any notice and that's what they say all the time. Attempt to deliver package and notice left which is a lie. I decided to check the status as usual because I thought it was about time I got my package. The experience at the post office is like living in a third world country. The staff is horrible and no use complaining because it's on deaf ears. I hate going there. Why is there such a vast difference between the white and black neighborhood (yes I had to go there) I work in the upper east side and the post office at 70th and third Avenue is so different.

Worst customer service ever. My dad had an appointment for his passport in this location. Someone named (possibly) Wendy helped us (name tag was covered with hair). She is much older person than me so I tried to be as polite as I can be. But she was such rude person. My dad doesn’t speak English so I was helping him with translation but she was yelling at me saying “this is his passport can’t he speak?” I explained to her politely. She snatched the paper out of my dads hand while he was singing and verifying all the information that she wrote . Such worst place to go for help with public services.

One of the carriers from this post office either stole my mail or put it in the wrong mailbox. It was marked as delivered in my mailbox at 4:03 pm yet nothing was there. Filed a missing mail claim, never got my mail, an explanation or a refund. No one ever picks up the phone when I call. As far as the office is concerned, the lines are always long. It’s been long before COVID-19 came, but that’s due to usps not hiring enough staff. The government needs to fund them more instead of funding the trash a** NYPD. Despite the long lines, the workers are respectful and helpful ... sometimes.

They said the attempt to deliver the boxes when they are lying they don't leave a card saying that you have to go to pick up your boxes Maybe the are trying to still your boxes! I was looking for a negative star because this place is very unorganized and has rude workers. The workers are lazy and don’t care what happens to your package. Twice I had to pick up my package because they lied about “attempting to deliver” and stated there was no secure location and that a slip was left. All of it was a lie. I was always home everytime I was expecting a package to be delivered. And the workers scream at you as if you’re the one that’s being rude. Highly disgusted and I’ve never dealt with an unprofessional organization before!

Waiting for a package from Banana Republic on May 25, 2022. They never came and said the package was delivered at 7:23 pm. Last week we didn’t get mail for 3 days, then it was rubber band and then delivered. We had a mailman that rang the bell with our mail, and the person now that delivers our mail keeps going. I’m waiting for a credit card and nothing. I’m very concerned.This is McKinley Avenue, between Cresent and Euclid.. Never had this problem before. They never redeliver your mail , scan packages that are not delivered, leave notices without ringing bell, and forget about Saturday they don't deliver.When you go to pick up the packages that they refused to redeliver there is always one lost . Managers and supervisors never come out to address issues but have you wait approximately 2 hours before they tell the clerk to tell you they are to busy to come. This is the worst post office ever and has been for over a decade. I wish they would close it and I wish I could give half of a star rating.

I got to the post office at 8:49 because they said it opened at 9 when I arrived there was already a long line so they did open before. There was a window that said pickup but no one was there so I ask the lady at the window to please ask if there was someone at the pickup window or should the people waiting on a pickup joint the regular line the the lady then ignored the question and said “do u not see one person here working” ( ms.jones) then it turns there was a separate line. This my second time at this post office and the service is crazy

Awful! My father never received the medical package I mailed overnight because the mail carrier chose to NOT deliver it. Then again did not deliver the package the next day after I had to schedule a “redelivery”! I spoke to several people at this branch for help. 10 days later when I went to pick it up myself to take to my father who can’t pick it up they said I needed HIS ID! Even though I had the receipt which showed it was really MY package that I mailed! The package is just sitting there undelivered! How ridiculous is this? Disgraceful.

I live in a private house I know for a fact this last order does not fit in my mailbox, but that was my delivery status.... When I went to complain at 8am, I was told the postal manager was not untill 11 am, and maybe my package would be on shelf the next day if they have it ...... Well, This post office blows so hard. I wish I didn't have to leave 1 star., I've been waiting for my packages for over a week. They keep saying re-delivery attempts have happened but they have not. Their phone line has been busy since Monday. I have filed a complaint with the USPS and Consumer Affairs. I am over this place. From now on I will find a different place to send my packages to. This has to be the worst post office in the country. My packages are always getting delayed/never delivered. When they do come, I'm always getting my packages late in the afternoon. Past 6pm. The mail carrier, for the most part, comes late in the afternoon. Sometimes at 7pm-8pm, the staff are incredibly rude and non friendly. They never answer their phones when you call. They need a new manager/new staff. You cannot depend of them to deliver your mail. USPS has to do something with this office. This is getting ridiculous.

Worst customer service ever. The supervisor or manager lady OMG she is real bad b….. God knows who gave her that position. They way she talks and behaves it’s like she will slap on their face and she can’t wait to kick them out of the post office. The people in the actual post office are sweethearts, they're just short staffed so prepare to wait a few extra minutes. The delivery people however are up and down, some come all the way up to the eighth floor and knock on my door and hand deliver my package, others say the attempted to deliver my item but dont even leave a pink slip, others leave it in my mailbox. Ya never know with em but as of late they have been more and more delivery personnel that actually deliver my package or leave a pink slip.

Customer Service here is disgusting, I don't know why they have a phone if they never bother to pick up. I'm beginning ti think an employee stole my package, as it was "attempted to be delivered" although i never received a door tag. And when i went to pick it up they told me they don't have it, even though when i track it it says its being held there. I just want my package, and to never have to deal with this post office again, They seriously need to be more selective about the ppl they hire.

They can NEVER find my packages!! Even when I give them a tracking number. A bunch of numbnuts. I worked the window as a clerk and so I know all the steps you need to do to find a package. They don't even go halfway trying to help you find it. They go in the back, look one time..and say "sorry Miss, I can't find it" so annoying! I have to send all of my stuff express mail just so I know these a holes are accountable for my packages being locked up and can't claim they can't find it.

Very professional, I had a problem with the package,sent out an email , got a phone call from a supervisor in the facility within the next few hours, super professional female! Package came as expected . I don't understand all these one star ratings, if u have an issue u contact the facility , if a worker gives u a problem u request to speak to a manager, I don't know if I understand all these one star ratings ? This is the worst post office I’ve ever been to. When I check status of my package it says attempted delivery and they never attempted and they do not even leave a slips.When you go to pick up your mail they are either short of staff or bothered when you ask them a question.They are rude and unprofessional.If they want less people coming into pick up their mail then they should actually attempted to deliver it.They need new management and new workers that care about their job.

Older individuals working here with terrible attitudes, who know they shouldn’t be on their feet, who have bad backs, and still wake up to choose to be of a disservice to the community. I'm tired of dealing with USPS. My packages barely get delivered to my house. They never leave a notice slip saying that they attempted to deliver. Then when I request for a redelivery my package never gets delivered so I have take time off to go to the post office to pick up my package. The wait line for picking up a package is longer than the line for you mailing out a package. Plus they never pick up the phone here when you call to see if your package is here.

To be honest everyone that works here should get replaced immediately with people that need jobs and wanna get paid. Super rude, complaining that it’s too much work, attitude for no reason at all and very unprofessional. The worst post office in the area. How is it that the people you have working here act worse than the people that live in the area? The old lady that wears a bun is super rude and needs to get fired IMMEDIATELY since she doesn’t like her job.

The only thing reason one star is given for this office is because of the location. It’s conveniently close to my home. The service is unpredictable, the customer service is worse. It’s almost like they take classes to be rude. The workers who take tickets for package pick up surprisingly are always courteous. The woman who does the passports should be more conscious of how she speaks to people. My thing is if you don’t like people, get out of public service!

This place has the worst customer service. I’m trying to receive my package and they won’t do anything. Can’t believe how rude they are. If I could give them 0 stars I would. The only way they receive good rating’s is probably from their own staff. I hope I can still receive my package, but I probably will never. Definitely never going there again. If you go into this post office expect rude customer service and people that don’t know how to do their job.

This has to be the worst post office in NYC , it needs new management and better service. Two of My package have been stuck there for the past 5 days from what the tracking number says. I went in person to go check but the post office is closed on a thursday at 12pm. Hows that even possible? Is there anyway i can get my package? Its really frustrating when you have to pay USPS for their delivery but you aren’t garanteed getting your packages.

Employees don’t care about customers needs until it’s time for them to go home a little before 5:00 p.m. which is when they are supposed to close. Inside the facility is scorching hot with $30 ceiling fans that blow hot air. The wait for your package takes between 25-30 minutes.. maybe more. Someone has got to do something about these workers. I understand that to them it’s just a job but someone needs to be doing their job with care.

Staff is very unprofessional. They do not know how to speak to customers and they need to go through new training. I was told my package was at the post office, when I got there the rep told me there was no package there for me. I called the office when I got home & the rep was rude, she put me on hold & never came back. I tried calling repeatedly and no one answered. Someone needs to take a strong look at that office & recreate it!!

Workers have alot of customers they have to deal with but they are respectable and patient. I think they do need to hire more workers tbh so long lines can quickly move more efficiently. They have ACs too which is good for waiting on the line because it's not so hot and they are enforcing the 6ft distance rule which is nice. This experience was better than I expected as I've heard alot about this post office in the past.

My package always gets marked "delivered" and i go to check in the mailbox and there is nothing to be found in the mailbox. I lost 3 packages so far that was marked "delivered" and nothing was found in the mailbox. They mark it delievered around 10am-1pm and nothing is in the mailbox at all. Its ridiculous, i lose so much money everytime its marked "delivered" i cant even dispute it to get my money back. This is insane.

If I could give 0 stars I would. WORST PLACE EVER. I've been waiting for my passport appointment FOR A MONTH. when it's finally my time, I go there just to encounter myself with a "NO ONE CAME TO WORK TODAY, SO YOU NEED TO RESCHEDULE" I'm beyond mad, stuff like this shouldn't happen, they didn't reschedule for me, never got notified that no one would help me until I got to the place. THE ULTIMATE WASTE OF TIME!!!

My mail box is broken and we have to get our mail from here and they refuse to give us our mail when we come in and tell us to come on Wednesday or Saturday which is very inconvenient! We have elderly in our building and the “manager “ is no better he claims to work and 10 different branches but has horrible customer service skills.

I wish there was a button for thumbs down, worst post office I ever been, they don't deliver your package they just put a slip on your mailbox, then you go to pick it up and they say its on the truck, also rude employees really really rude. They need a big time change in this post office. Oh and the wait they would have you waiting for almost a hour.

This is the worst postal office I've ever been I waited one whole hour just for them to give me my package even though they call me to tell me that my package was ready to be picked up. Either packages are being stolen or misplaced we will never know. I was waiting on a small package that supposedly said delivered. I go to my porch and all I had was a bunch of mail and no package. Where is my package? Why would say delivered if it is not there? This Post Office needs to be inspected and train responsible mail carriers. It is called theft.

The Post Office delivery man don't even ring the bell when he leaves a package. He leaves the package and it was stolen. And he's always on the phone talking. He treats all this like comedy. Carriers at this location never ring or knock or make their presence known to the people they are delivering to. They just either drop your package on the ground, by the garbage or not at all and say they attempt a delivery or they delivered. The delivery people are unprofessional when I have a package too big to fit inside of mail. They never really make delivery attempts, don't ring intercom, don't come knocking on my door and just leave the pink slip saying that they made attempts. And gives you a few days to go pick up the package.
