They fail to pick up mail, they leave packages in the front yard to be stolen and rained on, the "supervisor" at THIS location is as RUDE, thoughtless, and inconsiderate a person as I have ever hat the misfortune to deal with. They KEPT a package that was mailed to ME for over 3 months...AFTER they checked off that the package had been received and had me arguing with Amazon about NOT getting it...to FINALLY tracking it down IN the N Retta St location...they were going to personally keep it...saying that "rain had made it undeliverable"...interesting and who let it GET rain damaged---THEM...plus they had a tracking info receipt that they checked off without delivering it to me. Some "new" delivery person---non-English as a first language...Jamaica or something harassed two old people with continual banging and ringing...after holding up delivery of an important mailing from the IRS that had an already ticking time clock on it---they didn't even have the decency to apologize! I HATE this post office and I worry that my mail will even get delivered or be delivered to me---they continually and routinely MISROUTE mail here----UNTHINKABLY RUDE and "proud" of it and UNCONSIONABLY DEFICIENT---inefficient wasn't descriptive enough for this PO office...and the price of postage keeps going UP to pay UNQUALIFIED persons like these?

ZERO stars would more accurately describe the service from this station. Mis-delivered mail is a continual problem. It's obviously too much trouble for the carriers to check the addresses. I had one drop pieces mail for several addresses in my yard... and left them. I just took mail back to the so called 'manager' Ms. Hawkins, and she reflected back to me she couldn't care less with a cheezy smile and a musical '"Okay"... Why bother? Except for the fact I get my checks in the mail being self employed. Now I try to pick up all the checks from local clients in person, and use the internet to pay my bills. Does anyone care? A big resounding NO to that question. Do NOT order things you have to pay for that will be delivered by these clowns. If it's mis-delivered, and chances are it will be, you are SOL. It's happened to me SEVERAL times!

I walked in wanting to pay my po box rent. Mind you I'm from Mississippi and I still pay it every 6 months even though I'm in Fort Worth. She was attitudinal about me paying, saying "we don't do that here" A LIE!!! She said I couldn't pay in Fort period. A LIE, as I told her that I did twice as I've been here 2 years. I told her maybe their location might not, bit of course it's possible because I've done so twice since I've been in Texas. If she wasn't so busy trying to be cut with that big bump at the end of her nose, and at least tried to see, I wouldn't have dared to give 0 stars. She asked for a box number, but not the zip, she just didn't want to. STUPID government worker...

First time at a post office and it was a bad experience...I have worked in customer service so I get it you know having to deal with rude customers from time to time that ruin your day but when you have a customer who is being polite and your still being rude to him/her that's something I can not understand and find so rude..the lady working the front on weekday morning's was being rude to each customer she interacted with including myself..if you go to the post office often and know how to get in & out very quickly than yes going to this location is fine but if you need any help at the post office do not come here.

On several occasions our mail carrier has delivered our neighbor's mail to our house and we didn't receive any mail. This happened as recent as yesterday. I have bills and packages I am expecting. None of our neighbors have brought any mail to us. When I tried to call to complain, the wait time on hold is over an hour. This is ridiculous. They wonder why the general public is using other means of communication. Someone needs to notify the carrier that they need to pay attention. They don't deserve any stars but the reason I gave them one is because I don't want them thinking I just forgot to rate them.

0 stars! Fall 2016 Service is BAD. I haven't had a perminant delivery person in years. Just can get it right. ~~~~~ 2015 This is the worst business place I have ever seen! They can not deliver mail correctly. They can not forward mail correctly. The service in the office is horrible. A privately owned business would never allow these things to go on. The doors would shut because everyone would go somewhere else. I can't say it enough. It's horrible and has been horrible for the 14 years I have lived there.

Absolute disgusting the way customers are treated here. Typical federal government workers attitude. Short lady with glasses, Bluetooth headset on her neck, attitude for assuming I wanted first class and upset when I asked her for my options and chided priority. I avoid this place as much as possible because of the attitude here. Customer service is not here. Attitude after attitude towards customers and having to explain pricing and shipping options. I use. This is why I use FedEx or UPS for packages.

I have mailed 4 payments from this post office over a period of 6 months for my job, thank goodness. All 4 of those said checks have failed to be delivered to their destinations. I have to explain to my vendors about how we've mailed the checks and how there must be an issue with the mail service. Now that the 4th has gone missing now, mailed on the 29th of March and it being the 23rd of April, I've concluded to stay away from this post office for anything important short of buying stamps.

I make a point to use this post office over those closer to me. I have been here many times and am greeted and helped by such warm and friendly employees. Both the woman and man who usually work the counter during weekdays are consistently in a wonderful mood. I’ve never mailed a package that didn’t arrive on time and correctly. I’ve hardly ever waited in line and am in and out quickly. Keep up the great spirits you are so appreciated.

They stole a gift card that was mailed to me! The package shows it was delivered but no package! We spoke with the branch manager who looked in the back and said, oh, but it says it was delivered, yes, we know but the mail was not put in our mailbox! We opened a case and launching a complaint!!! Stay away from this post office. Staff is incompetent, definitely have thieves working there.

Some meth heads were stealing my checks out of the mail box and cashing them twice in a two week period. One 500 dollars another 2500 dollars. Filled out some paperwork for the postal inspector and never heard anything. Also had a carrier cut open my kids birthday card with a Razer blade and take his money out. Nice guys. 0 stars for you.

Ok, we moved to Fort Worth from NYC where a trip to the post office was a nightmare on 15 different levels. However, every time we walk through the door of our neighborhood post office, (here) we are greeted with kindness, laughter and patience. I mean that, it’s unheard of! Love this Post Office and their team, feeling really grateful.

It's been like 5 days in a row that they gave me my neighbors letters on my mail box, and the same thing happens to her she gets our mailbox.....luckily she's a nice lady amd comes all de way to our house and puts it in out mailbox.......y'all need to be more careful with the addres.....make sure it matches with the addres of the letter

I rented a p.o. box there but didnt go check it the day i rented it. It was about 2mnths till i started having mail sent there only to realize the keys i had didnt fit the box i was assigned! They rip people off. If u dont buy the insurance it gets stolen, end of story. If u can go to a different p.o., i would suggest u do so

Packages are hardly ever delivered on time. I often have to track down the carrier because a package wasn't delivered even though it was in the van. One postal carrier was caught throwing packages and other mail down the sewer. 90% of the people that work there are unhelpful and don't care whether you get your mail or not.

I had a package being sent to my house an it said out for delivery for friday an it never showed up. Tracking said it was sent to fort worth an then the zip code was changed on the tracking then Saturday next day today it said it was delivered but the mail never showed up. I think the mail lady stole the mail.

I have always had wonderful service from this post office. The carriers are great. When I've had to go in, I've been treated well. Once in a great while a piece of mail goes astray. How many billions of pieces of mail do they handle? The post office has a higher rate of accuracy than most doctors.

I don't write many reviews, but I felt I had to this time to tell everyone about the absolute angel the manager of the Retta St Post Office is. This man was very helpful and I feel went above and beyond to help me resolve an issue. I just want to say Thank YOU again you are amazing!!! ;)

  • Bobby Jones

Horrible service. I ordered a package and they posted it as delivered before it even got here. Same thing happened numerous time lasts year. Normally when I pay for shipping, it uses Amazon delivery or fed ex. But usps has the worst service for finding and receiving packages
