I've been using this post office for maybe 2 years.. I'm 17, and I sell a lot of stuff online, so I go here maybe like 2 or more times a week.. Here's my review: -ample parking -has PO Boxes -sells gift cards, brown boxes, greeting cards (Tip: don't buy boxes at a post office. It'll be cheaper at dollar stores or convenient stores) -Free Express Envelopes, Flat Rate Boxes, and forms (Tip: if your package weighs less than 13 oz, don't use flat rate priority boxes. Ship FIRST CLASS, and use a brown box for cheaper costs.) If you have PayPal, ship using Paypal's shipping center for discounted prices. -professional workers (reviews say they're rude.. I see them all the time, and they help me all the time. All of those workers have helped me individually multiple times. They're not rude.. they're just doing their jobs. If you want to make friends or socialize then go to a park.) -lines will depend on the time of day.. if you go around opening, during lunch time, or anytime after 3PM, the lines MAY be long. Sometimes at 3, they'll be long; other times, it'll be short and empty. -it's a fairly clean and organized location. It's not beat up or ghetto. It's also not like newly renovated and nice like in wealthy neighborhoods.. -if you have a package and you want to skip the line, print out shipping labels at your home using the USPS website. This would require you to buy a scale, but it's worth it if you go a lot like me. -many customers don't know how to ship. When USPS workers are telling you how it works, they're not bein rude. They're just informing you. I read one review where someone said USPS wouldn't let them ship because of the type of box they were using... if you know how USPS works, you'd understand that they're just doing their jobs -they've never lost any of my packages. If you're worried about this, make sure you ask for a receipt. When you ask for a receipt, they'll scan the package's bar code, and USPS's system will register it. If they lose it, then you can file a claim.. -you can buy money orders here, but I'd recommend western union. You can find those in Ralph's.

My experience at this post office is definitely better than my last post office, but it still has been a less than stellar experience. My first concern is accessibility. The nearby bank claimed all the parking spaces so if you can't find a spot in the street, you have to park at the strip mall behind it and walk over. So, good luck if you have any heavy packages. Speaking of heavy packages, my main issue with this post office is that at least 60% of my packages do not get delivered. And it has been unrelated to size and weight. In fact, the first packages I got from a mail carrier here were MASSIVE and HEAVY, sent to me unexpectedly. So, if there was a genuine reason my packages are not delivered, I would completely understand. But the deliveries are not attempted in the first place. For example, my mail carrier arrives around 12:20-1:00-ish PM every day. Yet, my package was electronically marked as delivery attempted at 8:21 AM. I was specifically told a prior undelivered package was not delivered because the carrier has a weight restriction. He said something like 29 lbs. ...The package was 12 small rolls of paper towels, under 3 lbs in weight. I can't always make it to the post office to pick things up. It's the reason I have things delivered in the first place. When this was first an issue about a year ago, someone would promptly pick up the phone and schedule to have my packages delivered. Lately, the phone rings through. I feel like 3 stars is too generous, but I suppose one star goes out to the overworked mail carriers: grumpy, sweet, and everyone in between.

This review is for the ladies working today on November 10th 2021 at 1:30pm. They had a really long line that took about 30min to get through just so the two ladies up front could tell you "the internet isn't working" so no debit cards, no scanning labels, just a useless bunch of people in a postal store. The moment they told me I yelled it out to the line so other people didn't have to stand and wait for nothing like I did. The only way this would have been a better situation is if they have made a announcement to the big line they were creating and doing nothing about. Shame on them and they should be disciplined. Not using this USPS location ever again.

Unfortunately I had a package that could not be delivered to my apartment it was sent to panorama city post office… Initially I was upset because there was a very long line and only one Person working the counter… She got the line down quickly with very friendly service I was then asked to step to the side because they could not locate my package.. Ruby took her time but truly searched EVERYWHERE for me. She found my package & made sure I left happy, all the ladies working the counter this morning are deeply appreciated! They are quick & friendly my receipt says clerk 14 who helped me first both her & ruby made me a very happy customer

A simple and easy process on mailing out my wedding invitation. I wasn't sure how many stamps were needed so I came to this Post Office to mail them out. I came when they just open so there wasn't a lot of people. When I walked in there was no one in line so I was able to walk up to the worker. I told them I wasn't sure what stamps were needed and all she asked me was where I was sending them. She put 1 stamp on each envelope for me and basically put it in her bucket. I was in and out within like 5 minutes.

I love this Post Office. I am sorry I forgot the asian man's name on the end. He is so extremely nice. I always end up with him. David is the manager and he cracks me up. He is very helpful. Easy to flirt with as well. lol. My only issue is the carrier keeps returning my DMV mail. I have been waiting since June for my DL and for some reason, the carrier returns it to the DMV. I am hoping to solve the mystery why very soon. I will make it a 5 star if it gets solved and I get my DL.

Visited this branch on a Monday at around 11am-12pm and they were closed. There was nothing indicating that they were supposed to be closed. Instead, I dropped off a package and my mail-in ballot in the collection box directly outside the entrance. However, its been 2 days and my package has still yet to be scanned into the system. USPS.com says that the collection box is supposed to be collected everyday and my package has not been collected since Monday. Today is now Wednesday.

Went in to drop off boxes for return with pre-paid shipping labels. Asked if there was any drop off for the boxes. Every employee would make eye contact and ignore the question until I got to a clerk. Once I got to the clerk I asked if I can just drop these off and they said yeah you could have dropped it off at one of the desks. Waited 30 minutes in line so they can answer a question that they would actively ignore when I would try to ask politely.

The so-called manager at this post office is very rude. It doesn't help that I could not understand half of what he says due to his very broken English. If sending a package to the panorama city area I advise you to purchase insurance since it is very likely your package will end up there, and if the employees think something of value is inside, it will be conveniently "misplaced" and never turn up.

Employee theft at this branch. These guys somehow "mis-scanned" 2 pre-paid packages with a combined insured value of $500 that were dropped off on their counter (clerk acknowledged the packages). The packages were never scanned to begin with, so insurance doesn't apply. Current status for both packages: unknown and not our problem. You would think USPS employees are an honest bunch -- think again.

Tell me why the post office has zero stars for service. This was yesterday 10/5/23. There's a reason why our mailboxes are locked in the theft infested part of Panorama City but he stuffed my package in, door popped open, did not try to fix it and just left my mailbox open. The video can tell a better story. I think the morale of the postman is so low that they don't care about their job.

Twice I've been here and they were both helpful and nice.. something u would never catch me saying about any other valley post office! Maybe I'm lucky since this spot got alot of bad reviews.. If anything changes, then I'll update. Also they are the one post office that opens early in the valley.. if u consider 830 early.. which I don't but I'm happy they open before the 9 and 10ers

Very disrespectful employee ( His name is Max). I asked him if i need to stay in line for pick up or he needs to call some one else and he ignored my question 3 times. Then he said i need to stay in line. when it was my turn he called another person for pick ups. So that was my question if he needs to call some one else for pick up or not. Bad costumer service. Want to send a huge thank you to the post office; sry I think his name was Jeffrey and the mail carrier also for helping me out today. They were extremely prompt, curious, and helpful! I shipped something to Panorama City with the wrong apt number, they delivered the item as addressed and a few days later were able to retrieve my item and deliver it correctly. Thank you!!

TERRIBLE..Im a business owner for 13 years same location. When my regular carrier is out (which is very often) My mail is routinely delivered to wrong address, or returned to sender! They even once left my mail on the floor of my business door instead of mail box! I've complained numerous times, same result. Very frustrating because the mail is so important

I am so upset! I sell wigs online. I dropped off my prepaid pkgs and put in the drop box inside the office. Big mistake!! Over a week later tracking says they are awaiting my pkg. I've had to refund several customers because of this. Now I'm going in to the office to give them a piece of my my mind!

This place is terrible. Very nitpicking about every single detail on the parcel being shipped out. Heaven forbid you don't show up with your own packaging tape and they say you can't use a certain box because of the imprint text. They will leave you high a dry and tell you to kick rocks.

Slow, incompetent service.always loose packages even international. I bought insurance for a package and they wouldn't honor it. Horrible experience. I wish the service was different amd more reliable . Dealing with USPS ALWAYS A HEADACHE. I PREFER TO USE FEDEX OR UPS INSTEAD.

When it was my first time shipping something they had answered all the questions I had and helped me understand everything. Great staff they have helped me countless times, favorite USPS location. In my experience lines are never insanely long and are usually a short wait.

There's always a long line for window service. However, the employees keep the line moving. They are very pleasant and helpful. I'd rather get my stamps from the machines that used to dispense them. Even waiting in line only 5 minutes annoys me if it's just for a stamp.

Government jobs have the worst employees. I wanted to drop off a package and I had everything ready all I needed was to put the label on and one of the employees hands over a scoth tape and tells me to tape it myself. Overall very rude and not helpful at all.

My mail has been stollen while having my mail box key, I have had 3 packages marked as arrived and there are no where to be found. They have such poor customer service and do not investigate fraud nor assist in any way. I don’t trust this post office.
