This was my 1st time visiting this location & was hesitant. When I entered the office, there were only 3 people in line. I needed to box and address my package. When done the line had grown to 11 people! I was very concerned & contemplated leaving, especially since there was only 1 clerk/ window open, but gave the line a try. And SO GLAD I DID! WHAT A SUPERCLERK 22!! SHe was professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, courteous & handled business keeping that line moving so noone was waiting forever. It was the best representation of USPS I've seen in a long time, other than my regular station at Columbus Avenue who are A+ #1 in my book. It was refreshing to have this excellent experience as a 1st timer & I'd utilize this station more because of it. KUDOS, a RAISE & 5 STARS to SUPERCLERK 22! and most of all THANK YOU for taking PRIDE in your job & the community you serve! I've been to many other USPS offices and it's like visiting a horrific prison. Talk about disgruntled postal workers. It's ridiculous for them to be so mean, unprofessional & take forever to do NOTHING and be so unhelpful.

This USPS is hands down one of the worst sites in the Bronx, scratch that, I would go as far to say out of all sites in NYC. As plenty of other reviewers mentioned, they have 3 windows and 1 employee. The staff are helpful depending on the time of the day and their mood. Unfortunately, the staff are unfriendly and always refer you to the 149th street post office for anything. Also, anything that is none mail related you have to stand in line for due to the lack of a package drop box. The staff will go to lunch or break when the line is practically out of the door rather than assisting customers with their postal needs. Overall, I would avoid this post office by any means possible.

Once again I'm sitting in my apartment waiting for my delivery of a 24pound bag of dog food, and I just got a notification saying they "attempted" to deliver my package but no one was home!!!! How the f*** is this possible?!!!!!! They attempted to deliver at 2pm, NOBODY rang my buzzer at all!!! This is so unacceptable!! Everytime I order my dogs food they do this to me and I end up having to go the post office to pick it up!!!!! This aint right! If the delivery person is so lazy that they don't want to carry my package at least give me a call or buzz so I can come down and pick it up myself!!! I HATE THIS POST OFFICE IT IS THE WORSE IN THE ENTIRE BRONX

Terrible service from Mr R LEE .He is rude, Highly disrespectful and uncooperative . I asked him a simple question I genuinely wanted an answer to and he proceeds to go back and forth with me for 5 mins before giving a me a direct answer. I step to the side & return and he’s telling me I have to fill information out that is NOT REQUIRED then calls me special ed, refused to give me his name, hides his badge and then proceeds to deny me service. I have never been treated so badly at any post office and it was honestly disgusting how unprofessional the way he carried himself towards a young lady whom was respectful at first .

The staff is a hit or miss, they can be either very helpful and professional or very uncooperative. More than a handful of times they've haven't had tape available for sale. If you're mailing anything make sure to bring your own pens and tape. More than a handful of times they won't have items you need like boxes. Good for buying stamps, mailing letters and small items, they will always ask for an ID for card transactions but go to a bigger post office for your other needs. It gets really busy around 12pm.

Three windows, but one employee. That's how it is most of the time. Never all three windows occupied. If there is two employees working, one goes to the back and stays for a long period of time. Like now.... I'm waiting on the line as I type. The visit before this one, an employee would go to the back after each customer. Terrible. They really need to get it together. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Every time I am forced to use this post office it's the same result. Long lines, one teller, slow service. The sad truth this service only exists in under privileged areas of the city. I wish I could print what I needed at home. That's a service we should be afforded. Or a kiosk that could self serve. I wish I could give zero stars

Their rude and don't open at 8. I've been their a few times and they always open after 8:10 and with attitude. One of the staff members yelled at an older lady and told her "what, what you want". Clearly the lady didn't understand English they need customers service training.

In that post office they treat you super badly, they speak badly and not with courtesy, I will never go to that post office again, I asked for an express service and the woman who attended me spoke badly and told me that I could not do it .

Small office just off 161 street near River Avenue. When I've been here, the wait time was minimal. The line was from none to maybe a couple of people. The staff seemed friendly and did what they had to do. A good experience.

This is one of the slowest post offices EVER. Every time I come in there’s only one agent working and the line sometimes reaches out side the store. Ridiculous. The agent is also very rude

Had a great experience had four people ahead of me and was out in 15 minutes. And I messed up twice had to fix it employee was very helpful and even with that I was out quick

I give less than one star. Only one person always working. Slow service. Poor customer service, not friendly. Need new management to improve this location drastically.

You purchase a box they say mail will be in box by 12 PM no mail I had to come back 3 times to get mail. There is a Spanish lady that works there mean as a bulldog

There's one near by with terrible reviews, so I came here. service was as expected and the USPS agent was nice.
