Cover up? I tracked my package on thursday may 10th 2018. It showed delivered in mailbox. When i got home, it was con edison & receipt of my rent that was in. I wrote the tracking number and went to the post office. The clark couldn't find the package and said it may have been with the delivery person. Said to leave my phone number to be called. I demanded to see the manager. It's not the first time i have experienced this. I was left standing there for so many minutes and getting late for work. Luckily another worker was passing by and ask if i'm being helped. I said i wanted to see the manager. She called and the manager showed up. He's of an Indian or Pakistani decent. He asked for my info and tracking number and i gave it. Then he called someone. The delivery guy came who is also an Indian or Pakistani.. He asked him about the package and he said the package is there and he's going to bring it. Then the manager spoke their language and suddenly the guy said he delivered the package. Our argument ensued and I told him i have had many incidents of package delivered when it has been delivered. Instead of the delivery guy leaving an info notice to pick the package at the post office, he lied as delivered and takes the package with him. I had even filed a complaint before with Amazon regarding that issue and they linked me to report the incident with online Post Office agent. They continued speaking their language and later being commanded by the manager to leave. As if i am his dog!! If i knew this was how this incident was going to happen, I would have recorded it. Then next to me a couple too came with the same issue and the manager with his authoritarian attitude, told them to shut up and mind their own business. It still saddens me I didn't get the common sense to record this incident and share it on social media and news network. When i got home around 8pm that day, and opened my mailbox, the item was in. The manager is a scam covering up for his fellow countryman and also lack respect to talk to customers. I wonder how such an authoritarian became a post office manager. It's really sad ad i know other people have had similar issues. Post office should now upgrade to allow their delivery workers have body cameras like the Police .
This is one of the worst post offices I have ever been to. The staff is extremely rude, and when you want to ask a simple question that will take less than a minute to answer they just send you to the back of the line to wait god knows how long to have that one question answered. When ever I have a package coming and I see its coming through usps I know that I won't get my package for at least 3 or 4 days after the day it was supposed to be delivered because what they love to say is they left a notice on the door and took it back will re deliver, meanwhile I was home all morning and there was no notice in site. Then you call them to find out whats going on and they are extremely nasty. I had to put one of those ladies in there place once, but it just goes on deaf ears and makes them even more bitter. Then they have you running back and forth to get attitude just to get your own package that you paid for. My thing is if you hate your job so much and it is obvious to everyone around why not just quite. This is a horrible establishment if I was anyone else try and get your packages through fedex, or even ups at least they are reliable and BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. Also just a side note if you have a gate in your home and you need to give the post office a key to get in BEWARE I have given them two keys already and they have lost them both now they want a third(very responsible)
this has been the worse experience. this local post office has some incompetent carriers. they are not honest and lie all the time. delivering my packages to someone else. when i call and speak with Mr. Singh, supervisor, he said go from door to door look for your package. I showed up to the post office and he made me wait for a full hour before he showed face. When he finally came was very defensive, dismissive and rude. Until today (4/16/19) i have 2 packages that say delivered but we dont have the packages. One of them i scheduled a redelivery twice and I still dont have the paid item. Most employees, including the carriers have a I dont care its not my money/package attitude. I call and no one answers the phone. Ms. Addy Smith, Manager makes sure that she is not there when customers call. This locations is not professional at all. everyone is treated as a step child. dont understand the hostility if you are working for the general public. I really wish i didnt have to deal with this location at all. I dont anticipate it getting better any time soon. what a disgrace of an establisment. this is pathethic. I will have to contact someone at headquarters in washington.
Doesn't even deserve one star. Ordered 2 things recently and knew they would be coming a certain day via tracking. So stayed home and waited and waited. Well mailman never run door bell and when I went outside all I found was the pink paper you get saying we missed you. I mean really? I was home. It clearly said ring door bell. So they said they would reschedule the delivery and what does he/she do? They stick it between the door and leave ot there. Luckily family member came home from work and saw it otherwise someone else would have most likely stolen it. So honestly they either new to hire completely new staff or sit all them employees down and tell them to stop the nonsense and being lazy and do your job. Not to mention alot of the employees at the post office are rude. I won't say all of them but the ones I've seen are rude. Something needs to change.
No Stars for them, they don't even deserve one, not even a one that is how bad they are. They are very rude beyond and they don't give a damn who you are, is what they say and period. Karma is a mother and they do go home and they do got lives. It's sad that these people work in Government agencies and they don't even love their jobs or the people that gives them a paycheck the customers. They should be investigated for sure starting from their managers to staff. People should take a job cause they are grateful to even have one. Not because its a government agencies and the benefit and pension is great. By that alone you should treat customers with highly respect and not treat them as they are a piece of garbage cause that is how these staff treat their customers and mostly decent people that go in there.
Yesterday 5/7 and today again 5/8 this postal truck delivery driver just rings the door bell and immediately leaves. I call him and he pretends to not hear me. The post office NEVER answers their phone so I guess I have to make a visit. They need to hire people who actually want to do their job and do it correctly! They don’t need to be wearing headphones because clearly that interferes with me getting my package. Today 5/8 was a REATTEMPT and it was poorly made. I want that driver off my route immediately. When you live in a house you can’t fly down the stairs just because the door is ringing, clearly the driver has lived in apartment his entire life to expect someone to immediately open the door when he rings it. It’s a house! There’s 3 floors! Be patient or find another damn job.
By far one of the worst post offices I've ever been to in my life! Filled with the rudest, most disrespectful, disorganized employees i have ever met. I dread when a package comes through usps because i know i will never receive it or will have to get it from the post office after waiting days for delivery. My mail lady NEVER comes upstairs for larger mail instead she just crams everything in my tiny mailbox. She claims she doesn't do this becsuse she has "knee problems," but my building has not one, but TWO elevators. She's even given my packages to a stranger in my building to deliver to me because she didnt feel up to it. All in all, just a horrible experience. Moral of the story: these people should NOT have a job where they work with people if they are not a people person!
If I could put no star I would. Seriously, staff is incredibly rude. Rude on the phone rude in person. I called and the lady litterally said for me to look whatever I need online. When there is no solution for that online. I was on hold for 35 minutes! 35 ! I hung up and the same lady picked up saying I'm going to be put on hold again they are busy. What the actual. My problem is for anyone curious is that they keep losing my packages. And I have a package marked as delivered when it was not. i know my mailman and he did not have my package. It is crazy how there have not been any changes. I own an online buisness and make my way to Parkchester rather than to put up with the staff here. It's straight up wrong. Changes need to be made. Or at least the workers attitudes.
Please PLEASE only use this post office as your last resort. Go to the one in Parkchester. If you are a business and shipping items out, they will either scan it in whenever they feel like it or never scan it in at all. It will only be scanned when it reaches the next destination which takes DAYS. -Another thing, they constantly mark packages as delivered hours or an entire day in advance. Making you think your package was stolen or lost. And they WILL NOT do anything about it. - Last thing, mail people are incompetent and will lose, steal or deliver your package to the wrong address. They will do nothing to resolve this issue, theyll just take your number and do nothing with it if you go to complain in person.
Dirty, unprofessional & corrupt! They are looking for people's personal information while sorting through mail tearing big corners or faces off mail! They open and reseal packages too! They don't always send unsendable packages back, claim it mysteriously disappeared! They have nasty attitudes and move on their own time, very slow that is! Just cause we live in a poor community doesn't mean we get treated this way, and our post office looks like that. Many times supplies you need are not laying around, and all mixed up! They need to revamp this building and corrupt staff that works There! If we all complain, change should occur. Also, they leave your mail with anybody, broken mailboxes, or on top! Thank you!
They must have stolen my god dam crocs or something because where tf they at?? ups talking bout oh it’s at your local post office. the post office talking bout “attempted delivery”…that was the 5th when i was home ALL DAY? where was that attempt? and then another attempt was never made. it’s the 11th and when i went on the 10th to the office the lady there said she couldn’t find my package because apparently it had already been taken off the shelf and is out for delivery and “should be arriving in a few”…yeah never came. still waiting the next day (today) for my package and since they’re closed tomorrow can’t even go back and ask wth is going on, gonna have to wait until monday to see if my crocs ever come.
I think it's a waste of tax payers money and this location should be close.. Employees are horrible, everyone needs to be retrained or fired. Very poor service, unprofessional , they don't care about their job and responsible. Don't even know what they doing... The white lady told me I don't know where your package is and I'm not sure if it's here. So I think you should go home and wait for it in the mail. I left and called customer service and the lady told me my package is at that location and if I haven't requested for redelivery then is should be there at that post office . She also checked with my tracking # and this time she guaranteed me that she is 100% sure it's at that post office.
All the female employees are extremely rude. They try to dismiss me when I proved them wrong about the location of my package as if I was an idiot. They didnt listen when I told them I had 3 but only gave me 2 packages because I gave them 2 tracking numbers. But 1 of the numbers didnt match an tried to blame it on me when I told them in the beginning theres was 3 packages. Completely rude an unprofessional. Shout out to the old guy with dreads that usually helps me. He always listens to the customers an helps however he can. I come here every week or so because Saturdays the mailman supposedly makes an attempt to deliver my packages even though I'm home every Saturday. The usps sucks.
I have been coming here for the past 20 years and I have to say I don't often leave with a smile on my face. the workers seem to hate their job. today was the worst . i was on line and the girl came to collect the pink slips if you were waiting to pick up a package. so I held up my slip so she can see it. in a nasty way she says there are other people in front of you you have to wait your turn. it turns out no one in front of me had a pink slip but me and someone behind me. so she collects my slip and I get my package and it was open I think she opened it cuz the tape had a clean cut as if done with a sharp object I just hope I am not missing items.
I was at home all the day the message I got "your package delivered" I never got my package they lost it USPS. Next day I went this office they told me my package was delivered....I told them I never got it. The clerk told me put a complain. The claim will take 2~3 business days....in less words the package is lost! I don't get it why the service of Unites States mail is a disastrous fail, I been in many countries and this is the worse service ever seen in my life. Their salaries are good, they have Union, they have all benefits packages and still yet their are doing the worse job like they are earning $0.10 cent per hour. This is unacceptable!
The absolute most INEFFICIENT post office in all of the Bronx, staffed with the rudest, nastiest-attitude-having workers. I order many packages and never really had much trouble with them but in the last couple of years, this office has just gone downhill. On more than one occasion, I've had to track packages online only to find they had been sitting at the post office for weeks and they never attempted delivery - but they did post on the tracking site that "delivery attempt was unsuccessful." They don't leave the orange slips. I live on a 4th floor walkup and they won't even so much as ring the bell, let alone walk up to deliver my packages.
rude, unhelpful, they shouldn't be worker if they not going to do their job right, they say they attempt to give you your packages but that never happens I missed 1 package supposedly 6 times because I wasn't home truth is they never came or attempted anything because I have a broken leg and I am home all day I also left my number on my front door this is the worst postal company ever and they should be out of business and I would love to make sure none of them ever receive a check again because they f***ing suck ass at their jobs. one worker told me I get my package when ever I get it like so rude I wanted to sock her in her face
If you want your packages then DONT count on this place to deliver! They ALWAYS will leave a note saying they “attempted to deliver but no one was home”, OR if it’s an Amazon they will mark the package as delivered just to clear it to the sender like it was delivered on time but they’ll hold the package and then deliver a day or two after. The customer service and attitude they have is unbelievable at times! If you’ve ever wondered what a post office looked like back in 1900 then this is the place! They don’t even have an automated stamp machine let alone interior look. I’m sure there’s asbestos in the ceiling tile’s.
There is this bald female mail carrier that is constantly changing her weave/wigs. Very crummy and super sketchy looking person. Don't know her name. She is either stealing, misplacing or throwing away my mail and small packages because I always have to report it missing. She doesn't like to drop off packages at the door and recently I was notified that she left a package in the mailbox but she did not. CRUMMY! I don't understand how she is still working there. I had to stop having packages shipped to my address. I now have it shipped to a friends address and they no longer go missing. Strange.
Post office workers show up when they want. If the site says they open at 9am. Doors aren’t open at that time. Workers are very unprofessional and NASTY. If they don’t like their job; they should just quit or change jobs. There’s plenty of people that would like to work for the company and provide a better service to the community ! Let’s not even talk about the mail men that deliver our “packages” but rather slip notes on doors to say they attempted. But never have even knocked or tried to deliver them. Smh, management above should be taking the community’s complaints serious.
Called at 7:53 am to find out if my package was there so i could swing by to pick it up....someone answered the phone. I asked about my package and was promptly told. "We dont open till 9am sir." While they are correct that work doesnt start till 9am i dont understand why bother to answer the phone if you werent gonna help anyways. Again they're right about not helping till work actually starts but it seems like a funky way to do business. I'd rather NOT getting someone UNTIL 9am that is friendly and courteous than getting someone at 8am that is dismissive.
The laziest most despicable group of workers, EVER. I don't know who is assigned package deliveries on Saturdays, but more often then not they make the ridiculous claim that my building is " inaccessible" a pathetic and easily disprovable lie that is told each and every time the carrier doesn't want to do the job. This is far from the first occurrence. However this time one of my husband's fathers day gifts was late because of laziness/selfishness/lack of pride in themselves and the job that provides for them and their families. GET YOURSELVES TOGETHER!!!
This is the worst Post Office I have been to if you want to call it a post office. Loud music was blasting in the back like is was taco Tuesday. The staff always are unorganized and never seems to want to do their job. The line is always long and only one register is usually open... I have witnessed staff arguing with customers and challenging them to fights.... To top it off I never get mail delivered to me... I would be home all day and they would just put the slip in my box and act like they attempted to deliver them Wack!
Poor customer service, rude staff. When mail stopped being delivered, rather than focus on getting to the bottom of it and fixing it, staff wanted to question why I waited so long to call. Then the buck was passed to a manager who wouldn't be able to call until the next day. Called back the next day and no one picked up the phone. Called again today, same thing--no one picks up the phone. Filed a complaint with the USPO in hopes this will lead to resolution to delivery issues and retraining of post office staff at this location.
I have lived in this neighborhood for only 18 months and since then all I have encountered with the mail carriers from Gleason Ave Postal Service is unimaginable! The carriers are so lazy, that they put everyone's mail in one mail box! Are they not aware that it is a federal offends to open up someone else's mail, apparently NOT! I have spoken to the carriers and even installed labels with everyone's name so they know where each envelope is suppose to be put in, but they still don't following appropriate postal procedures.
I went to Soundview post office on Gleason ave yesterday to pick up a package. It was the most unpleasant experience i have encountered. Clerk 31 is RUDE . She needs to be trained in Customer Service, the problem with these people is they believe that because they passed a test and got the job that is all there is. The Postal Service has to make it a priority to train their employees on how to interact with people in person and on the phone. Clerk 31 couldn't put together a proper sentence but she knows how to be nasty.
NO STAMPS!!!! THEY RAN OUT...... what??? Yes that's what I said. I could not believe what I heard they ran out of stamps a post office. Hey United States Post Office winning out of stamps only in the Bronx. And I thought I saw everything.. Incredible.!! ! They have a young girl working there that is very very nice we going to find out how long it takes the rudeness to rub off from the others.... Please update the status on the customer service of the young teller... I really hope she does not turn into one of them...
I want to give the a minus 0 but had to give at least one star in order to post a comment. One of their carriers stole a package containing a pair of earrings I ordered from Macy's. A supervisor named Ms Smith told me he doesn't work there any more but when I asked her to identify him she said she didn't know who he is. You don't know who he is but you know he doesn't work there anymore? Another supervisor named Singh was equally unhelpful. If they think I'm going to eat this and go away they are sadly mistaken.
The person who delivers the packages is so lazy that every time I've received a package from Amazon I've always had to pick it up myself. The person/people who deliver packages NEVER DELIVER TO MY APARTMENT. Usually the package is delivered interstate through UPS or FedEx but USPS always "delivers" them to my apartment. They really need to reconsider these people's jobs because they aren't doing them, I wish I knew who was driving these trucks so I could get them fired on the spot, they don't deserve this job.
Terrible. Countlessly have my packages "attempted" at delivery while I'm at home by the door and no pink slip. Screw this place. I pay for stores to send me my stuff swiftly and for what? Dealing with this office extends the wait time by days. I'd be okay with one or two incidents because I understand that sometimes there can be mix ups but this is every single time. IT ISN'T HARD to ride an elevator for 30 seconds and drop a package off or at the very least to lift your hand to write up a pink slip.
If you live in the area, do not have any packages delivered through here, if you on the top floor of any building. They literally told me, we don't deliver if its more than 2 flights without an elevator..... so ringing a bell is too hard to do either? That's enough to be upset about but the reality is they never came, on 2 occasions. Wasted my time all together. Then slipped the attempt to deliver slip into the regular mail the next day...... Just trash service. Just use UPS or FedEx for deliveries.
My package was 5 days late, so I went to the post office to check. After I submitted the tracking number, they told me that there was no internet, and they couldn't help me? The lady next to me spent 5 minutes buying a few stamps, but was finally told that the system had crashed? Cannot pay with credit card! Please! Now it’s the 21st century, but your post office’s equipment is still at the same level as decades ago. Leaders of the post office, please upgrade your equipment and service attitude!
This place is unorganized and unprofessional. The postal workers don't deliver the packages and instead leave a notice saying that no one was home. This is a simple issue of people not doing their job. I am seriously at the point of having all my deliveries go to my mother's residence in Manhattan since they are more reliable. This would never happen in neighborhoods like Park Ave or the upper west side. If by any chance the Post Master of this office sees this please reform your work force.
This is the worst post office ever. They don’t even update the information and never adhere when you request for a redelivery. I scheduled a redelivery for a package I supposedly “missed” when my whole family was home. They never delivered the package and for a whole week I was waiting and I had to go pick it up myself. They are all rude & lazy. They sit and watch the phone ring no one picks it up this post office need to fire everyone and restaff with people who actually want to work.
If I could I’d give zero or negative stars. The customer service at this location is THE WORST out of all post offices I’ve visited. I’ve been lied to about where my package is, cursed out, insulted, and flat out ignored by the staff at this location. Not to mention I’ve witnessed other customers treated in the same manner. Staff is just blatantly rude. Complaints do nothing. The fact that management obviously condones this type of behavior towards its customers is unbelievable.
There must be something going on with the post office. There are so unprofessional and everybody in this particular neighborhood is always missing packages. Including myself. I'm starting to think they steal people's packages from this post office. This needs to get reported ASAP. The tracking # says they dropped the package at my house 7:17pm and no one has even came by here. I've was outside for 2 hours, so that was a complete lie when I search the tracking number.
To whom it may concern: I am writing this to let you know that I feel that when a person has a job to do they should try to do it to the best of their ability. I've had to deal with this post office now for three years, and only one of the mail men on this route has had the common sense that has taken time to ring my bell, so that I can go down and pick up my package. And I don't see why it is so hard for all the others to do the same. Jobs being the way the are.
I live in the neighborhood and hate seeing the bad reviews this place gets when I Google them. Okay, their employees handling customers over the phone are definitely the worst. My experiences calling the Post Office have never been good. However, when I go to pick up a package or anything else, the service is always quick and smooth and the employees there do their job well. There's even some that have a smile on their face while working and wish you a good day.
1 star doesn't even define this post office if there was a negative that's what it should be. They never deliver packages to your home they leave a pink slip in your mailbox. Once you go pick up the package the lines are long because they have 2 teller windows open and rude employees. Starting with Richard worst customer service rep complained to the postal inspector"s about the circus they have operating in this office. I recommend the office in parkchester.
Listen, I have lived in this area for years and receive deliveries quite often from this office. Each time I visit the office they are very friendly especially given how understaffed they may be at times. When I call, I actually get an answer and get off the phone knowing what to do next. I have never had a problem but I also treat people with respect so that may have something to do with it. I never treat those who work in service as if they are under me.
They never open on time, the staff is extremely unprofessional and they are not well trained. It is poorly managed, this station needs an overhaul. You spend unnecessary time there because there is no flow to the way they are running the place. Staff walks around with speakers attached to them playing loud music. It’s just a terrible experience every time I go there. Worst of the lot, USPS should be ashamed to have this station running in such disarray.
I would give zero stars, this post office is absolutely disgusting. They need tear it down and renovate it OR DO SOMETHING! The people that work here, ESPECIALLY THE WOMEN ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! They take there sweet time delivering the mail. When u call the office the workers are so ghetto and rude. Absolutely distasteful, I have never seen anything like this. But then again, this is the Bronx. ♀ THEY NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER!!
Worst... Rude window clerks. Never redeliver packages when their supposed to. You got to pick them up their never there but supposingly on the truck to be delivered. You never get a notice. Its TERRIBLE. They give ALL postal worker including me a bad name because I work for them but not as an incompetent window clerk. Someone maybe me will report them to their postmaster cause their service is DISPICABLE
The staff is horrible. They always try to find an excuse to not give you your package. For example, I did not have the tracking code, but i had my ID and address prove. However, that was not enough for then. What grinds my gears is that they could easily track my package using my name and address, but not, they had to make everything difficult. This is not an isolate case. Similar things had happened to me in this post office.
If this location is your only option think of it like a doctors office long wait for fast service only difference is they are rude, slow as heck, and act like you being there is a problem. They treat everyone like their day is long so they are exhausted but that is behavior is from the beginning of their shift so they woke up like that. Your awesome remember that because they will have You leaving like you did something wrong.
They lost my package plus another one of my packages was stolen. They said it was delivered but it never seemed to end up at my door nor my mailbox. I am supposed to be having a package coming today and it was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago. There are no accurate updates on anything. Those packages are gifts and they never seem to get to my door. No one knows anything when it comes to proper packaging or deliveries.
Worst Post Office Ive ever visited in my life. Rude people working there. I had packages just chilling there for 2 weeks. I was at home when they said they attempted to deliver one of em, no one rang the door bell. They lied on the tracking info. The second package was never attempted as no slip was left. Totally unprofessional. I'll start using UPS or FEDEX this is ridic ! If I could leave -2 stars I would.
The staff is very rude. They do minimal effort to help you/make you feel valued. It's their job for christs sake. I never get my packages delivered. When I look up my tracking number, it always says that they've left a notice and "No one answered the door" meanwhile I'd been home all day. When I go in to pretty much do their job for them, they're really nasty and unaccommodating. Worst service ever.
I sent out birthday card in april ,my brother never received it ,this is not the first time, i had problems with this post office ,recieving mail in my mailbox that was not mine ,and my some of my own mail and packages not being delivered ,this post office has been getting worse through the year's, ive been with them 25 years ,and its on going someone needs to investagate this location!
Had a large box that didn't fit through the window and employees claim that the door is damaged and can't be opened. So I guess everyone climbs through the service windows in order to work. even if they had an employee entrance it would have been last somebody to come out and take the package themselves and process it behind the counter. This is why people don't use the USPS anymore.
I really need this post office to hire people who care about their job please. I am quite tired of my package ending up in the next building, all it takes is to read the label for delivery properly. Now that lady is going to keep my package again and I will look like a scammer since this happens often and i always have to call and state that its delivered but its not in my mailbox.
Terrible terrible terrible, didn't attempt to deliver package, called them 2 times to check status and after being on hold over an hour they said they were not able to locate the status, went to the office and they didn't ask for tracking number, name, information and just said they would attempt redelivery. Awful customer service, people there are very rude and not helpful at all!
The staff are so rude. Each and every time I have to go pick up a package, I expect terrible customer service. They clearly hate their job, and it seems like we are causing an inconvenience for them to do what they're being paid to do-their job. Not sure if the manager is just as unqualified for the job, but these reviews/complaints aren't getting addressed. They need new staff!
The absolutely worst post office. It's a surprise the manager hasn't been fired for condoning such nonsense that takes place there. During the COVID-19, the hours of operation was revised to 9am - 5pm. Yet, everyday, they opened at 9:40am when extremely long queues where formed outside starting around 8am. Absolutely useless employees. Lack of professionalism and COMMON SENSE!
This place needs a whole make over from staff to lines to drop off windows. This post office has a lot of good people working there but the lines in this place cut be avoided so easily if they had drop off windows, and personnel walking the floor taking pick up slips from people with ID’s as suppose to letting them pile up to the point that the line is half way down the block.
The worst post office ever! There are very few employees at this location that seem to actually work. Luckily my post woman is awesome and so is my delivery woman but if they aren’t working neither is anyone from this location. Everyday I hope and pray that I don’t have to walk into this location. The attitude on most of the employees are worse than an inmate at a prison
They will sell you a postal money order, but if you try to cash one, they claim they have no money in their till. Dont try to wait for the other clerk, she just came back from lunch and has no money either! Does not matter what time it is, thats her story. They do cash business all day long, where does the money go? Can Federal Inspectors please investigate this?
The clerk personality was disgusting. I hate this post office. I hate when companies use the post office to ship my packages. Unfortunately I can only see the courier after I submit my payment for my items. If only there was an option to opt out of the usp delivering my packages, I would select it with the quickness! Hate when they say they are delivering your packages and then never deliver packages on time. They said that they leave you notes on date they delivered or the left in front of the house is no packages and you called to complain and they be very nasty on the phone you and don't want to help you. There be time I'm home and there no mail at all.
I got a text that a package was left in my mailbox, when I check there was nothing inside my mailbox. I have a lock on my mailbox, only 2 possibility-mail personal deliver it to wrong address or just stole it. This post office totally sucks, they should close and open another with all new employees. My mail was missing on several occasions.
This post office is the worst of the worst , everytime I pay for next day delivery never get my package on time they leave the regular mail on the mail box and don't even nock the door ,when I check the status of the package the say that was no secure place to leave the package,bur they never care for ring the bell. Very lazy workers ..
The worst customer service in any post office I’ve ever been to. The staff is very rude and unfriendly, sarcastic and disrespectful. Unfortunately I live down the block and I have to deal with them often, every time is a horrible experience where I exit in frustration. The lines are always out the door too, definitely needs more staff.
i actually don't even want to give this place a star ! Its disgusting the way there employees speak to the customers. Today I went in and the chinese women had a attutide when shes the one that suppose to assisting me like are you kidding me? Honestly if you can go to another USPS location please do. Thank god my patients got strong.
Really bad service make my line waiting for My package he ask for help to the lady next to him because he didn't find the package, the paper I bring said is available for pick up since yesterday ,but the lady just told him to take my number to call me when he got the package, when my husband came in they found the package right away
Worst place ever to go to ship stuff. The staff is rude and always is a long line. One time my online package that was supposed to be shipped out was 0.40 OUNCES short and asked me to buy a new postage. I left that post office and went to the one in parkchester and they accepted it there. The location needs some major improvements.
This is by far the worst US Post Office I’ve ever had the displeasure to visit. The staff really needs to re-train in customer service. They can’t answer simple inquiries without giving you an attitude as if I’m being a pest. I get we all have our days, but... IT CAN’T BE EVERY DAY ! …
Terrible service I have a week waiting for my package and I still don't get it every time I call they been very rude telling me why am calling if they told me a ready that they going to delivery but they didn't. I suggest to pick up after a week that they been telling me that it was out for delivery Very rude personal service
They lost two of my packages on the app it say it was delivered when I haven’t received nothing at all and it was on Friday. I call and reported it say that they will call me in 1-3 day I haven’t received no call no notice of my packages. I went to the office and they told me the same thing that they will call and nothing.
I can understand that you didn't want to walk 5 flights of stairs because of a broken elevator. But leave a notice on my mail box or something. I called the place to see were my package is but apparently they couldn't rack it or something? How am I supposed to know if it will be redelivered or that I have to pick it up?
Most worst post office i hv been living in this area more than 6years....every time specially christmas time they miss my package,other times they also do that..they r very carelessand irrisponsible...we know ppl made mistake but how often.?.They like to play with ppls stuff.They r not even eligible for 1star.
I Asked for a redelivery for a Day and never got my package... I tried to be nice but I'm done with this Rude and horrible Worker.. I'm about to go in there and Curse every single one of them.. The worst post office in the history of the world. Do not leave any slips, fake "attempted" delivery - there is always someone home yet packages don't get delivered?? and when you go to to the post office they claim its on the truck out for delivery. Yup sure - Maybe these packages are opened and kept?
I'm surprised by the reviews, as I've always had a great experience with them. Yes they have long lines sometimes, they're understaffed. BUT they're doing their best! I was just on the phone with them, they were looking for a package that I missed its delivery. They're customer service is really good!
I love the fact that my post office is so close to my apartment. But it ends there. The Clerks & The Mail Carriers are rude, mean and unbelievably incompetent. I've been in post offices in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Manhattan, Chicago, Arizona just to name a few. And this post office takes the Cake.
This place is a lazy sack of people who are just so lazy and give incredible crappy customer service, the DMV and social security office give way better customer service and that is a shame, a darn shame, come early for goodness sake there are always lines from here to Manhattan. Awful just awful
I’ll give them 2 stars. Long lines long wait only one person in the front , sometimes only two people but the lines are still long . Even tho the lines are long they help me so yeah I would give 3 in a half stars since they never did anything bad to me . If ya go to this one just have patience

This post office never used to be this way. Mail would be delivered earlier than now, I get mail 6pm at night. Slips for packages would always be in the mail box!!! Of course I am talking over 15 years ago. Unfortunately, we have lazy people who can care less about doing their jobs properly.
No stars for me this staff is rude especially that Chinese lady I've lost several packages in this post office luckily I was refunded by company I ordered from. There needs to be a change there these workers act is we're their enemies we just want our dam package no need to give up attitude
USPS is the worst postal service I’ve ever encountered. They consistently deliver my packages late, and sometimes they don’t even show up at all. It’s extremely frustrating to rely on them for important mail and have it constantly mishandled or lost. I would never recommend USPS to anyone.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I havent had a successful package delivery from them in two months. They have marked all of my items as delivered with not a package in sight. unprofessional and rude staff, and at the very least irresponsible in reading the address or ensuring delivery.
Terrible post office! Mail is delivered late, there is never an attempt to ring the bell before claiming no one is home, employees at the post office are just ridiculously unprofessional. IN GENERAL THIS POST OFFICE NEEDS TO UNDERGO NEW MANAGEMENT AND TRAINING COURSES TO EMPLOYEES.
This has been my nearest post office since forever, but they need to shut it down temporary, in order to renovate, and hire brand new decent staff. The current staff are rude, the ladies in particular always have an attitude, and treat you as if it is not their job to attend you!
This place is horrible. Always have been. Lost so many of my packages, lazy delivery people dont read my signs, and there is always an issue with the Asian workers. Seriously. Only one girl there was the reason I tolerated this place. Dont even know if she's therr any more. Ugh.
In 9 cases out of 10 the mail man will just leave you the ''sorry we missed you'' yellow note, after which the delivery is never attempted, you wait and wait but they just send your mail back to the seller! waste of money! this post office needs to be shut down immediately!
My experience was amazing! Mrs. Gardner was sooo helpful...I was confused...terrified and just plain upset..she calmed me down...told me the steps to recieving my package...even called me to keep me informed....I swear...best worker ever..she knows everything …
Called for hours no one picked up. Finally someone picked up said please hold and never came back. I was on hold for over 20 minutes. Went to the post office and waited in line 2 and a half hours only to get inside and they told me they dont know where my package is.
Terribly slow service, usually only 2 people on deck. The place is run down and shipping area is a mess. The man with dreads that are just barely hanging on told me they could print shipping labels... usual for a post office. Won’t be going back if I can help it.
They have the Worst Customer Service . Mail Never arrives on time & They Always Have a Attitude. On the phone or in Person they don't care how they treat you . when you file a Complaint the USPS Does nothing about it ! they dont care once they have your money !
With as far as we've come with tech advancements I would have imagined there would be kiosks or vending machines for stamps at least. A fast food restaurants utilize kiosks to delegate tasks and listen to load for the staff and why not the post office?
A female worker with last name patron i hope i spelled it correct. She was very professional and provide me with excellent customer service.She help me use the self service machine and explain each step. Very helpful glad she took her time to help me .
Well you guys did it. USPS members are so terrible at their jobs (and most likely terrible people after countless times trying to reach you) that you have made me not order packages anymore. Thank you for being literal waste of spaces. Merry Christmas.
Terrible if I could give them 0 stars I would. Worst post office I've ever seen. Took several phone calls to answer. When they finally answered, they didn't even help me find my package. Always late with deliveries. Worst service I have ever received.
They told me my package was scanned in but THEY DON'T KNOW WHERE IT IS! Thank you very much! By the long string of complaints I'd say no one cares what goes on at the Soundview Post Office or what is written here in the reviews of the service there.
Some of the workers needs to be fired. The delivery person is not delivering peoples mail on purpose and we keep making complaints and nothing is being done. This has been going on for almost a year now. This office needs to be investigated.
I went inside to ask a question and i walked up to the window clerk and i got yelled by the female employee behind the window she was being very disrespectful and i got so embarrassed that I had to leave and go to the next post office …
Every time I order something, I dread it going through usps. They NEVER ring my bell and NEVER leave a ticket. Then, the staff there is the nastiest staff I've ever encountered. Avoid them like the plague. Especially this branch.
The workers here are incredibly lazy and work slower than you could ever possibly imagine. You will lose your patience here with how slow they work with everything. Even a nursing home is quicker than this. This is ridiculous.
Worst post office ever!!!! You stay home from work to get your package, then you get a text saying they tried to deliver it, meanwhile they never rang the bell or left a notice. This constantly happens worst post office ever.
USER SHADOW BANS YOUUU!! I wrote a well rounded complaint clearly expressing my experience from this place and got shadow banned twice. This USPS doesn't care about its customers they serve nor do they care about their job.
