If there was an opportunity to pick VERY POOR quality, I would. This PO has been nothing but trouble since we opened a PO box about 6 months ago. Most importantly, their attention to detail and their lack of effort bother me the most. My wife was anxiously await much needed medication for over 1.5 weeks before she was forced to go see an out of network doctor who could give her an emergency script. We later find out that the pills had been put in a neighboring PO box and placed in our box after 2 weeks of waiting. This is unacceptable. To further compound our issues with this PO, the staff is terrible and does not care about the mail that passes through its doors. A package that was mailed to us from Montana arrived on Oct 11th. We had closed our box a week earlier and were told the box would be forwarded. Three weeks went by without sign of the box. I visited the PO on Nov 4th to inquire if the box had arrived. The postman behind the counter went to the back room, came back with the box that we needed 2 weeks prior, and said "Sorry, we've been too busy to forward it." This is unacceptable. To this day, we are still waiting for mail that should have arrived over a month ago but cannot be rerouted because it was already mailed to this PO. Whatever you do, do not use this PO. At least don't expect great things from them as they are very unprofessional, rude, and downright irresponsible.

I was purchased a money order and USPS clerk 77, Rae Denton charged from my bank account $1,250.40. Unexpectedly she couldn't find a money order blank, so she confirmed me about my transaction didn't go through, because she was out of money order blanks. I checked my bank and there were pending transaction of $1,250.40. After 30 min. of looking for money order blanks finally, she got couple of them from another clerk. She forced me to purchased an other money order, so, today I got two posted transactions on my bank of $1,250.40 each one. Just a little mistake of $1,250.40!!! I called to customer service, so have to back to the Post office, but who will pay me for my gas, my time in the line, my overdraft fees?

I arrived at the Post Office before 7 o'clock and was standing in line The clerk locked the door at 7 o'clock and said we're not helping anybody else very rudely. He then was complaining to another client in line about the he didn't want to help me he wasn't going to do anything for me. She spoke up in inside he was being very rude in he started screaming at her. This man was screaming at a woman at the top of his lungs and then when another customer stood up for her he yelled at him too. The most unprofessional transaction I've ever seen at the Post Office the man should be fired he should not be interacting with customers it was terrible.

Have a post office box at this facility - getting packages delivered is ALWAYS a HEADACHE!!! I'll get a yellow slip/card in my box stating a package is ready for pick up at the front desk, but then the package can't be found!!! The USPS tracking system will send me a text that a package is ready for pick-up, but when I go to this post office, they can't find the package!!! My understanding is that there's only one person at this facility who does the package delivery system; he's either UTTERLY incompetent or just in over his head, and not up to the job.

This place makes me lose my faith in the USPS. They sit on PO Box requests until you go in person, but save yourself the hassle and get a PO Box at another location. They will sit on packages and mail for days after receipt. This location handles a lot of traffic and has a lot of hours to accommodate it but is crucially understaffed and neglects the customers that pay for the service of having an on-site PO Box. Luckily there is a DIY package processing machine in the lobby that spares you the long lines and interactions with the miserable employees.

The 2 previous reviews are quite divergent. I have bee going to this PO for years. I go there because of the great hours and days they are open, this is the main sorting station so mail posting here is sent out faster, its entirely full service, and lastly (if that is not enough), the lines are not as long as other POs in the vicinity,or else where.. The people behind the counter vary in their competence and speed, as you will find in any PO. I personally have not experienced a problem

This is one of my favorite place, very respecting to all customers, very friendly sweet and nicely.... I love this place very cheap sending anywhere you will love it very nice service... Always to explain to you what's the best to customers, not for their business I feel always like I have new family... Prays the Lord... He Gives me around me very nice sweet people around me: thank you to this location... They are very professional people who works here very fast team work.

The management should be ashamed, with only a limited number of post offices in Portland open on Saturday, today I watched an employee that was injured forced to work by herself. There was a line of over 10 people waiting with more showing up by the minute. Its sad to see that the federal government would treat people so poorly. There wasn't even supervisor on site. I don't know any other private business that would survive with such poor customer service.

The worst experience I've ever had with a post office/PO Box. Got PO box, the next day was told I got wrong box, switched to another. Now 6 months later with only receiving one piece of mail am being told I have neither box and haven't had one since 5 months ago. What!?!? Quick to take your money and keys to box back then lose your paper work. Now not helping you get another box or answer any of your questions!!

Review of Hours Only! Totally understand wanting to leave your post early, but locking the doors 10 minutes before close, at that point just say your hours end at 6:50PM. Some folks like healthcare workers may not get too much time off, and we rely on accurate hours to squeeze our schedules to the max—so please, adjust hours on your site, or stay open and hold to stated hours.

When I called in to ask about their passport services, I was greeted by a bit of a rushed, annoyed attitude. Then after I scheduled my passport appointment 3 days prior, I was shocked to learn upon arriving that the camera was broken and they apparently didn’t know about my appointment. I was then told to reschedule; too bad I’m already leaving the area for the summer.

When is the new location on Glen Widing gonna open? Tired of having to go to two different places to do some PO business. The temporary set up at the BMEU on Cornfoot doesn't do retail. My PO box is there, but to do any retail business I have to go clear over to 122nd and Shaver about 4 miles away. Often in heavy traffic Come on USPS. Open the new office already.

They have done some restructuring at the site and THIS OFFICE IS CLOSED as of 1/15/2023. The relocated site is at the distribution facility SOMEWHERE. The PO Boxes were in the back but I couldn't figure out where you could drop off packages?? Oh, and the hours didn't include Saturday and Sunday. Just weird how it would go from the anytime PO to the ....???

Really good people. Always willing to step out and help. We ship hundreds of packages by them every day, and they bend over backwards for us. Barbara is a standout performer. Has been very helpful as our international orders scaled up. Food people. Get there by 6:30pm and your shipments will be on a plane that night. A WebNutrients partner in all ways.

I had called to track a package that hasn't been in "service" for quite some time and wanted an update and she went above and beyond to help me understand where it is and why. I looked on the website and called the passport line. It was clear I didn’t need a appointment for a passport photo. I waited in line for 45 minutes to be told the purple haired lady was the only one certified to do it and she refused to do it because the post office is too busy. Just wasted two hours of my day. LOCATION IS SHUTDOWN. Do yourself a favor by reading this to save yourself time. Back in December I showed up and saw a notice that their lease was up. I checked their website today and jt says its still open. Wrong. I showed up and the whole place is cleaned out. Be warned. Wasted gas twice coming here. Smh

I Love this post office! I own a small Online Business & I mail out orders to my customers on a daily basis! Iam always treated very kind and the employees are always so helpful even when its a few mins until they close. I also Love how late this post office is Open!! I Don't to anywhere else... A++

HORRIBLE . workers do not take their job seriously and have not scanned roughly 10 packages I’ve dropped off causing me to loose lots of money . Their policies are flimsy and each person follows different rules . 10000% never recommend coming here as you will loose packages.

Connie went above and beyond to help me send out a package today! I so appreciate her taking the time to help me find the correct address for a package I was trying to send that had an incorrect return address. Very appreciative of such thoughtful service!

I very much appreciate the staff and their helpfulness here. Usps offers the best media mail rates, movies are heavy, and the counters aren't built for large packages. Despite all this they didn't chase me out with pitchforks when I had to run a couple.

Open till later than the other post offices! Yesssss.. UPDATE* the government in all its splendor has decided to give the public more of a reason to hate them. They have reduced the hours of this location without updating their site.

Service to customer very poor. Don't have the basic knowledge. I drop off the Priority flat rate box with prepaid postage and asked for a proof of drop off receipt and the clerk refused to do it. I end up went to other location.

This place never has enough counter help. Could be 10 in line and they only I one person working. And why were they closed yesterday and today (9/22/17 and 9/23/17) if they were supposed to be open. A lot of disappointed people.

Nothing but good things to say about this Post Office site. Great staff, nice hours, great service. I especially love that I can mail packages here, & cut one day off of the delivery time. It's worth the drive over the bridge.

Depending on what time of day you decide to pop in, it may be a long wait unless you are there when the doors first open or in the middle of the week. Many PO Boxes, big Lobby and any Services provided by the USPS&staff

Sometimes the line is huge, but this tends to be a less busy post office, and they have longer hours which is nice. Some of the workers here are super helpful and friendly, others not so much. Overall it's ok!

Frequently closed during open hours and now they have completely relocated but they don't even update their Google Maps listing and hours and location of new location nowhere to be found. Where are they?

The clerks have been great. There are two or three in particular (I wish I would remember their names) who have been very helpful, with one running my package out to the truck at closing time.

It seems like everytime I go in to this office they have only one female working. She does amazing for being alone but the extra help would be nice so we arent spending an hour to do 1 thing.

Nobody delivers to more places or more reliably. 2020 is the first time that they've ever asked for federal grants as well. My favorite group of government employees out there.

This post office is my go to place. Opens late and great service. Sometimes it can be very busy but they are always helpful. Way better than the post office on 122nd.

If you are sending anything going airmail cut a day off the transit time by dropping it off here. As a bonus the counter is open on Sunday.
