I've only ever walked in once successfully, and they refused my package because it was 2 boxes made into a bigger one. The rest of the times I tried to go around 12 - 4pm usually (6/7 times now for the past 3 months), they are never open, ever. Do not waste your time and effort. Go to another post office. **follow up** I finally managed to bump into their "opening hours" to pick up a package that failed redelivery to mine. I called the direct line and they told me it's at this address. I wanted to pick it up right away because it's scheduled to return tomorrow. I went in and was welcomed with complete rudeness and they were utterly useless. All they did was tell me they don't hold packages, that could be in this other location. And did no further to help check or confirm. They shoo me away like I was wrong to enter. Again, don't go unless you have to. Apparently they don't hold packages or take packages that are not in "standard" usps boxes. Go if you need stamps or large envelopes.

EXTREMELY rude staff. The hours vary as well on a day to day basis. I’ve been a few times and each time was unpleasant and unwelcoming. The staff members complain, grunt, roll their eyes, and clearly hate their job. I have a small business and each visit (which is now extremely rare) includes a nitpicking critique of how to place my packages on the scale, how to stand in line, and other random obviously unwarranted remarks. The post office one stop up has a drop off and I never have issues with my pre-paid labeled packages. This location is ridiculous. Please get a new staff.

The worst usps. I brought about 20 packages to ship out. When I got there they told me they are close. I asked them why closed when there was no holiday. The answer they gave me was they were out for lunch and no one serve me at this time, and told me to come back in 30 minutes. That was bullshit. I can't believe that was how they do business. Yes of course that is just a job. No one wants to do more for it. I won't go there anymore. Waste my time to bring 20 packages there. Hope usps fire them and hire some one who is willing to do a job.

I’ve had 2 packages that I dropped off there that 1: arrived damages with items stolen, and 2: never even get scanned/delivered (tracking numbers say they never even received the item). The second time this happened, I dropped off 3 packages same day, and the other two delivered, but not the third one. The first time this happened, the order was ripped into and items stolen. Both times they were poster orders. Not sure wth is going on here, but don’t drop off here!

No this is really the worst post office. Every other post office is bad because of their service. This place, they just flat out refuse to work. I’ve been here at 10am, 1:30pm, 3pm on regular weekdays. They have only been open once out of the 5 times I’ve gone. The last time I was in here there was a guy just watching tv on his phone and eating with the door locked. Refused to open it. They need to shut this location down if they can’t manage it. Useless.

The postal office is tidy, mostly quiet, and the staff are efficient. My one complaint is related to the general services, they no longer help you package your products you have to come with everything boxed, taped, etc. They charge you to buy a table for $3.99 so come with your labels taped. I wish they will consider charging a service fee or product fee for taping so that customers do not have to purchase an overpriced tape for a single item delivery.

This place is great now when a certain nitpicky employee that took pleasure in refusing to mail your packages for any reason she could think of is not working here anymore... when it’s not randomly closed. 2 times recently now I’ve gone here to drop off a pre paid package and it being closed without any prior warning or sign why. Having to go to Fulton or Halsey instead is not an option when you’re having 2 small kids with you!

If I could give zero I would. Every time I go here they give me new ‘rules’ or reasons not to take my packages. One time I can’t use priority box for a pre printed priority label (even though the label says you can) the next time can’t accept a package sealed with scotch tape. Are they just trying to get me to buy more boxes or more tape? If I go to a different post office they take it. Massive chore.

They're some of the meanest and most miserable people I've ever come across. I've lived across the street for 3 years and mail regularly for my business, so I'm there 3-4 times a week and every day is stepping on egg shells unsure of whom is in a bad mood that day. Russian roulette is a better spent afternoon than walking in this location. Also my packages are consistently delivered 3 days late.

While it’s typically easy to get in and out of this location, the employees here are extremely lazy. They are annoyed if you ask questions, as if the US Postal Office comes with instructions. Most of their signage is tacky, written on and hard to understand. They do not help you understand your mailing options. They basically want to do the least possible to help service you.

The rudest people on a daily basis. Every Time im there, they are rude to at least a couple customers while i wait in line. Especially the impatient lady at first teller on the left as soon as you walk in. I feel like its almost a competition between the workers to see who can be the most rude to the most amount of people a day. Unbeleivable

We consistently do not have mail delivered, or have it delivered several weeks later which is a problem for time sensitive mail. I had to order a credit card three times, and ultimately had to ship it to a Manhattan location. The card came in the mail 3-4 days After I got it in Manhattan. We've even complained to the Post Master.

Horrible! My holiday packages were stolen because they were left outside my side door!! I came home yesterday to a empty box outside my side door and my other package was not there. When I tracked my package the message said delivered 12/22. I’m upset! There’s a two hour wait to speak to a representative. This sucks!

Their hours listed aren’t correct this is the 4th time I’ve come here when it says it will be open and it’s not. One time I arrived 30 minutes before they were supposed to close and the door was locked and they told me through the glass they were done for the day. Fix your hours or be open when you say you will

I've lived in the area over a year and didn't know this existed. I live near corner of Bushwick and Chauncey and have alway gone to the other post office in Bedstuy, but they have terribly long lines. This place was empty, it's small but no wait time when I went in there to deliver a package. Quick service!

This is a government office is not supposed to be close between 1pm to 2,30 pm,because they're going to lunch. I am a senior and sick person and she closed the door in my face she said that I had to wait until 2:30 .I have to walk to gates to the other post office. That's was very rude and unrespectful.

Stupidest and rudest woman is working there trying to educate people without knowing what she is working for. Bonus huge attitude toward customers that left wonder why would be treated like that when you paid to be served. These people make usps reputation worst and worst.

This is just informational as of 01.03.23. This location is indeed open, but only has one employee, so it may be closed roughly from 11:45-2pm and for 2 other 15min stints randomly throughout the day. Just thought this would be helpful for everyone to know before going.

I usually give 5 stars to places where I've been to. Why? For their service and friendly staff. But this usps branch....it failed... totally....very sad. The lady was rude. My advice, if you don't like your job, quit. Don't waste our federal tax for doing nothing.
