I ship out packages every day and I used to drop them off in here. When I would have time I'd stand in line and ask them to scan them in (lines usually super long at this PO). One particular employee is extremely rude, has a terrible attitude and very disrespectful (2 other friends confirmed the same thing about this person); also, not knowledgeable and they will contradict the customer even when customer is right (confirmed by escalation). I ended up asking for supervisor and that was better only in attitude and apologies received but bottomline not very knowledgeable either and not willing (or too cozy) to take the extra step to make inquiries and learn. If you have drop-off oversized packages do not come here as they extremely rarely have a cart out for you to drop them into and you will have to stand in the long lines as they do not bother to observe and take action or let you know it's ok to just put them somewhere... I made the mistake to put them on the counter on my own initiative after none of the 3 employees behind the counter said anything seeing me scrambling to find a spot to drop them. I was given an offended attitude for which i honestly apologized. This place is not about going above and beyond to make your life easier or help you, they run about their daily usual routine job and you may find yourself inconveniencing them if you try to make your visit here short and painless. I will stay away from this location and will drive to a different one even if it means sacrificing my time and gas. Update Aug, 2022: this location no longer has a drive through Dropbox and you will need to park and walk in for the dropbox access. Most times no matter the time of day, the big dropbox is jammed, there is no cart for dropping off bigger packages so you will have to stand in line as they will take it as a personal affront if you put your pre-paid packages on the counter (most POs will gladly have a cart on the stand by or just instruct you to put them on a portion of the counter). I swear sometimes it feels they like to make the customer waste time rather than in and out. I wish i could say MEDIOCRITY is the keyword for this location but it's actually worse than just mediocre... Update 8/15/22 3:30PM: just witnessed a elderly woman being verbally assaulted while waiting for their turn just because while carrying a huge box and being next in line she went past the poles delimiting the start of line. She was barked at with a terrible tone, with complete lack of respect and a less than delicate choice of words. Because she tried to justify that the package was heavy the same employee everybody complains about in their reviews refused to attend to her and told her she can wait in line for the next employee. This place is no man's land, I really hope the customer spoke to the supervisor because as a bystander who spoke in the customer's defense (along with other customers in line), i felt horrible just witnessing this.

Normally I would not write a review like this , but I had enough today. I normally use this post office on therapy days since my son attends therapy down the road & its convenient. I run my own business and ship quite a few boxes daily. I understand how shipping works , let’s put it that way. I’ve never had any issues until today. I’m not sure what the lady’s name was that was behind the counter. She was dark skinned , large & had weave that looked like a poodle. I believe her name started with an “S”. Anyway I stood in line with 4 packages. She was beyond rude today. I had already paid for postage at home and just needed to drop my packages off and get a receipt saying they were dropped off. She proceeded to rudely tell me the self service machine can do it for me. However I had 4 large boxes , I would still need to drop them off at the counter - POINTLESS. I prefer handing them directly to the employee and getting the initial scan in , that way I’m protected in my end as a seller. She then proceeded to tell me my first class package would not scan because of the “label being cut off”. I told her that’s fine I will take it to another post office later ( so I can go home and fix it ). She VERY rudely told me no other post office will take it. I had yet another larger package in my car that I was going to take in (couldn’t carry all at once) but I decided to drive 35+ min away over to Townsend post office where they accepted my package and told me to NOT use the self service machine. I have never seen such a rude employee before. I will no longer be going to this location because now I feel like I’m a burden brining things to ship here. If you hate your job that much then don’t work a customer service job.

This location don’t deserve any stars as they have NOTHING to HELP OUT! Please do not go there even if it’s the closest location to where you are at. Definitely agree with other reviews here. Terrible service!!!! I have a paid postage that needs to be shipped within 3days to make sure it is still valid. The lady declined to receive my package because the ship date is 6-14. Guess what? 6-14 is a SUNDAY and the lady didn’t even bother to try to scan. She just said she couldn’t do it at all. I just shipped same type of package last Tuesday 6-9 which has a max ship date of 6-12 at Beach Blvd USPS. Also, they were impolite the first time I drop by today because I ran out of tape. They could have just done it and said maybe next time you have to tape it yourself. I understand if it’s a big package and will consume a whole roll or tape. This is just a 6x9” small pack. We are traveling here in FL and from out of town, they are the closest post office to where we were driving to get food and we just happen to ran out of tape. I have never had any issues with sending packages back home in SC. Two locations out there are always polite and helpful. I rarely write reviews but just terrible experience for me!! No wonder they get low stars! *I had to edit my review because I just drove to another location (Beach Blvd) and they just scanned and accepted my package with NO ISSUES! I think these ladies don’t want any customers and their jobs. They probably want to just sit around without anything else to do.if they’re very much unhappy with their jobs, they should just quit.*

Worst experience ever. Wouldn't tell you not to go there because it's still a post office and they get things done its just absolutely awful customer service and from what I've seen its at most of Jacksonvilles post offices. But there are two lady's that work there usually they work together. They are the rudest customers service workers I've ever seen in my life. They tried to tell me I can't get a po box because I'm homeless even though I had all the proper paperwork and identification. Came back the next day and a different lady and no problem giving me my po box. Then everytime I pick up a package they want to try and tell me they can't accept large packages of 80lbs or more to scare me into not ordering things I need. No where in the paperwork I signed does it say anything about a weight or size limit for packages, just to use the yellow slip to pick then up at the counter. It's literally in their job description to be able to lift heavy packages. Even if this was truly a rule I'm not sure any of my packages have even been over 40lbs. The last one they complained about was 35lbs. Not even half of the weight they say they can't accept. Sounds to me that they just simply don't want to work they just want get paid to sit there and put stamps on stuff all day. Get a different job you losers. Worst scum of the earth right there. Hope they see this. Next time I'll get pictures of them and put them on blast like the others have.

The USPS is a dated entity that should have been either privatized or disbanded ages ago. Employees give zero fu*ks because they are on the government payroll and vested. Not one single time has a package that's ever been sent to me via USPS been on time, nor has their tracking system been remotely accurate. To make matters worse, they flat out LIE on their tracking page. You will see updates that state, "out for delivery" but it never shows up, then sometime after 7pm it will update with something along the lines of "delivered, ready for pickup" or "held at facility by customer request". LIES! I was waiting on a package that was GUARANTEED to be delivered by 8pm yesterday and it never showed up. I tried calling their customer line and after holding for nearly an hour, I was hung up on. For the next attempt, I used the call-back system and was told that I would receive a return call within an hour. Another Lie. I didn't receive a return call for nearly 2 1/2 hours! When I finally did get someone on the phone, they were useless and offered no solution other than to wait until the next day for the delivery. USPS is just a prime example of government fat that needs to be trimmed.

Does not answer phone when called, also apparently doesn't deliver packages, even when one pays extra to make sure item is delivered on Saturday to our hotel, and yet, the postal worker had the audacity to just claim the address of the business as closed! And yes, shockingly, the Hotel Name is on line 1 with my name and room number on shipping label! Oddly, I have never heard of a hotel closing during mid-day, or any day of the week for that matter. Lazy, Lazy, and again horribly Lazy! Now I had to rush out to purchase another item because of their lack of doing ones JOB, to DELIVER packages to those who have paid for said service! Pathetic, and unresponsive at this location, I have tried for 3 hours, and all the phone does is ring, computer saying "transfer you to operator", rings another 10 times and hang up on the caller... but I bet my phone call to the Post Master General will not go upon deaf ears!

  • Alex Goretti

The attendee was super rude to me for absolutely no reason. She ignoring me and having conversations with a co-worker and taking an intentionally and unacceptably long time to put postage on my package. It was clear that she didn't care about the customer or her job. This is pretty routine when I come into this post office. I always have to wait super long in line and then the employees are rude and visibly sad and not happy at their job. It is very unpleasant to see. It ruins my experience everytime to the point where I don't want to come back to this location. But Sha'ron was the employee today that was extremely rude to me and was not doing her job with any sense of work ethic. Definitely makes me not want to go back to this location. I'm concerned that my package will even make it to it's destination leaving from this post office. I will be using a different one from now on. Highly dissatisfied.

The lady behind the counter is not a nice person at all. I was one of 3 people in the branch with no one in line so I approached the counter to wait for someone to come from the back and when she appeared all she had to say was " you need to step back out of my space". Last I checked there is a counter with plexiglass separating her space so it would be impossible for me to be in her space. I stated all that I needed was the registered mail blanks so that I could fill them out. Had someone been doing their job they would have been out where they belonged and I would never had to bother her. Just another note, the older gentleman that is also usually there is very nice and always helpful. Just another reason why we don't need the postal service, too entitled for the quality of service given. If I could send my things to the IRS without using the postal service... I would

Last Monday (April 2) we dropped off a package in this location for Kennesaw GA (roughly 7 hours from Jacksonville). We paid for certified mail, and for the package to arrive before April 8 (time sensitive issue). USPS said it would arrive by Thursday April 4. Great! Right? WRONG!!! Well, it's April 13 and the package hasn't arrived yet, not even at Kennesaw's USPS!!! @USPSHelp on Twitter says it was First Class mail (which is not true, see pictures) and it takes between 7-12 days... The last update on the package is from April 7th: "In transit to next facility". It departed from Atlanta GA on April 4th and since then it's been "in transit to next facility". Kennesaw is roughly 1 hour away from Atlanta and it has taken 7 days and counting?! This USPS mistake is costing us money that we will never get back from USPS!!! I will never use USPS again if I can help it!

It is no wonder why these this post office location has less than two stars. The woman who made it good apparently is gone and they put Beatrice in her place. Beatrice is an angry person who wants to take all of her frustrations out on customers. I’m incredibly disappointed. This was the last post office that had any friendly person…that’s out the window! Beatrice, I hope you read this and I hope you change your attitude to actually be a service to customers. Because, you should realize, you are in a customer service job. It’s no wonder the USPS is going under! Maybe if you actually trained your employees, we might not see a national institution fall to extinction. I just read another review from two weeks ago who included pics and it’s Beatrice! The same woman who was so nasty to me. Misery doesn’t always love company, Beatrice

The WORST customer service, I've ever experienced at a Post Office. I am on vacation, realized I forgot to mail a package to a customer, so we found this location. The woman seemed bothered that I was mailing something, and that I placed the address label in the horizontal position, because I had written the incorrect address on the box...the woman asked, "Why would you put the label like that?" I stated because I did...she then removed the label and placed it vertically on the box, and threw it into a bin. If my package is not delivered, I will be filing a claim against USPS. This location needs to close, or replace Shanoir(can't really read her handwriting). I hope the Post Master handles this, I mean my goodness at the many negative reviews. This is one of the reasons customers, use other means of shipping.

They do not answer the phone! I tried calling them (and the Beach Blvd location) many times over a week and they never picked up the phone once. I also called the 800 number 3x over that week to put in a work order to have them contact me, and they never did. I went in and spoke to the guy behind the counter and asked him why they don't answer the phone, and he told me it is their policy to not answer the phone if someone is in line. I call BS because I tried all hours of the day. They are just lazy and don't do their jobs! All I needed was to get my mail box number. I moved into a new place and the box numbers didn't match the house numbers. In the end it was easier to just go outside and use my key in 170 out of 200 possible mail boxes until my key opened one of them than to deal with USPS customer service.

Just went to this location to drop off equipment from AT&T. The lady asked me what I needed help with and I told her I need to return this to AT&T and she said oh we don’t do that, you have to go to UPS. So I called AT&T back upset because they had given me the wrong information come to find out they didn’t. You can take AT&T equipment to and USPS office and they will print you a receipt. At UPS they told me they couldn’t print the receipt and clearly said the USPS does that but since you didn’t take it there just take a picture of it. Really unhappy with the woman behind the desk. I don’t know if she was just being lazy and didn’t want to deal with me or if she was genuinely unaware however at least ask me more question or contact someone that can help you figure it out don’t just “oh we don’t do that”.

  • Jason Woods

I find everyone who works here to be helpful. I have never had an encounter that wasn't professional. Anne Marie is the supervisor, and she has gone OUT OF HER WAY to help me. Lee is my mail carrier, and there is no finer man for the job. I am always grateful to see them. These postal workers have to educate customers every day, people who want this NOW, and that NOW, and for some reason, have no empathy or understanding, and seem as if they enter the building looking for a fight. The worst thing about the post office is the attitude customers bring there. I don't take this service we have for granted, and the reviews here are unkind and inaccurate. Going to the post office can be a time-consuming experience, but it doesn't have to be unpleasant. Thank you Belfort Road USPS: you're doing a great job.

  • Brittany Dixon

The lady working the counter is so rude and unhelpful. Shes moving slow, no smile, and looks as if she couldn't be bothered. Why show up for work then? You cant go to the kiosk, so have to send the package at the counter. You wait in the line for an hour. The line is extra long; almost to the door. I get to the counter and asked if they had the blue and white to/from sticker and she says no. They aren't accessible at the counters either. All I had to do was write a address and she rudely said I had to go back, my pen was in my hand. To a line that's by the door. No thank you. I went to UPS. There's no need to be rude, just stay home. The gentleman however is very courteous and kind. He has Christmas music going and lights on. He was smiling and laughing. BUT never will I return to this location.

  • aleaha wynn

After visiting this location and then reading the reviews I see these women (Sha’Ron and Denise) treat everyone poorly. My question is why would they want to go through life like this? They Could choose to come to work every day and go out of their way to be helpful and kind and get lots and lots of great reviews. This would make them feel so happy and joyful in life and they could take pride in their work and be happy and generate a lot of positive energy in their lives. Instead, they choose the opposite road. They choose to go out of their way to be mean and nasty to literally every customer and make their visit to the post office hell. In turn, this makes them angrier and the negative energy continues throughout their whole lives. Honestly, I feel bad for them. Choose kindness.

  • Gradyfan

The Postal Service employees know their job. It's the customers who are the problem. There were 8 people on line ahead of me today, and only 1 had her item properly prepared for mailing. She sailed through, as did I. One customer couldn't understand why he couldn't mail an unsecured folder of loose papers. Another insisted loudly that his use of black electrical tape was just fine. If customers would simply follow the clearly posted rules, there wouldn't be the frustrating delays they themselves cause. I was just amazed at the patience of the Postal employees. They deserve tremendous credit for keeping calm in the face of incompetent, disrespectful, and even belligerent customers. I wouldn't be able to last a day in that job.

  • yoel rios

No answer where's my 1500$ package although was insured it shows like never got to the usps facility, was dropped off inside the bin after lobby was closed , they keep blaming on covid19 for missing scan, I said was an expensive note20 I show my receipt for item, with no empathy I was told that was irrelevant, at this point the package still lost with no answer. I have to UPDATE and EDIT this review, the package finally appears after 15 day and still in Jacksonville, leson learned, certified your mail and insusure your package for the real value not for less to save 2$, leave it at desk during working hours if it's an expensive item if the package was lost they could say it was never received with no insurance to be claimed!

  • JRCUBA Castellanos

Terrible experience. My package got lost with over $100.00 worth of medicines, impossible to track what happen to it or to get an answer from anyone. I have filled all kinds of claims. I have put my time and money making phone calls for nothing, nobody knows anything, nobody is responsible for anything. Last thing I heard from one of the rep is that even if my package was stolen from one of the post office workers, there will be no way for them to track down on it. In other words, they are getting away with all this B.S, stilling and doing all kind of dishonesty. Meanwhile, we are paying to keep their salaries and the USPS alive. It is time for a smart guy to come with a new business idea and send the USPS down the drain.

  • Andy Cheung

Came to this location Monday after Easter. Only one person working at the desk at 2pm. A female manager, not in Postal uniform, was walking around instead of helping customers. Then the same manager sent the only person at the desk to lunch and closed the window. The manager proceeded to tell all the customers in line ( about 15 people) that the desk will reopen at 3:15pm and forced everyone to use the self service machine or come back at 3:15pm. The manager herself did NOT stay to open a window herself to keep the line moving. She thought it was more important to walk back and forth and tell people they will reopen at 3:15pm instead of keeping the line moving herself. She is an awful manager. This is an awful location.

  • Jessica Randy

I tried calling this Post Office for about 15 minutes trying to track down my package. The phone kept ringing and ringing, NO ONE would answer. So, I decided to drive the 20 minute drive and see if it was there. ***When we got there, the phone was still ringing and at one point, a blonde female employee picked up the phone and just hung it up. WHO does that??*** Unfortunately, it wasn't there and I was told that it would "probably" be there tomorrow. The man wrote down the address and phone number of the center the package where it was going tonight and the lady butted in and said "they are NOT going to answer if you call them!!!". Overall, this is one of the worst post offices I have been to.

  • sachin patel

G. THOMAS is the worst employee at this location. Terrible experience... I went to this USPS location to drop off 3 packages yesterday at around 4:35 & the lady named G. THOMAS (Black Female) was there at the counter. she was so rude & it looked like she didn't want to work. when i asked her for the drop-off receipt, she was like mad at me. it is their job to give me the drop off receipt. & she literally threw my Fragile box on the floor. there are so many good & deserving people are jobless in this economy. & this lady doesn't deserve a job at this place at all. she is not helpful. I know this review is not going to make any difference to her or USPS & I am wasting my 10 minutes of life.

  • shelby abbott

0 star do not recommend going to this post office!! 1. The office is extremely outdated, cabinets are broken and looks horrible. 2. Customer service is horrendous. Both clerks at the counter were extremely rude; I had to go through the line three different times just to get my package sent internationally, When they could have told me everything that I needed to do the first trip through the line. The clerk made a few rude comments during my visit that really upset me. Clerk #56 if that matters. 3. I walked into this office in a cheery mood, I talked to them and asked about their day in hopes to spread some holiday spirit, after leaving this location I felt very irritated and annoyed.

  • Mrs D

I have been here a couple of times. I have never been in and out within 10 minutes even when there’s only one or two people in front of me. I saw a lot of items online and I will rather wait till the weekend for me to go to the next nearest location. I live 0.7 miles away from here and I try to avoid it. Today they said they could not mail my package because it had to be Package in one of their envelopes or boxes. Mind you, I have shipped items in grocery bags but for some reason today they can’t accept any other packaging other than their own.I was mailing out a baby onesie and they gave me such a big hassle. I’ll just wait till I am near a different post office. 5/5/22-4:10pm

  • April Williams

The employee working at the desk is rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. She has absolutely no customer service skills. Today l was the only person in line and she help up her hand to intentionally make me wait 5-10 minutes for no apparent reason, then she would not scan my package because the ship by date was in 2 days. I have no issues at other locations. There is no smile or "I'm sorry for your wait." She appears to be bothered by your presence. This same employee has treated me rudely on a prior trip to this location. She needs to find another job that doesn't deal with the public. This location does not even deserve 1 star. Do not go there unless you want to be treated poorly.

  • Robert VinnyMcFace (SmileMail)

Stopped by this post office branch to just use their scale to find out how much my parcel weighed. The postal service kiosk was out of order. I asked a female employee if there was another scale that i could use since their kiosk was broken and she just said “no”. My best chance of getting assistance was from the kiosk. The kiosk would have been more helpful than the employee! I still don’t know how much my parcel weighs. Just think it’s sad that our taxes pay for this “service”. The employees are so poor they couldn’t/wouldn’t tell me the weight of my parcel. Just put something on the scale and read off the numbers to me, the female employee refused to do that for me. :-(

  • Bill Gates

This is an extremely efficient office. Their staff is always friendly and helpful! They go out of their way to show customer service. I’ve read many of the reviews here complaining about phones not being answered. This is a very busy office and the lines are usually long and if you expect someone to answer the phone on the 3rd ring you’re calling the wrong office. This post office is always clean and the parking lot is large and usually has enough parking for everyone! Occasionally there is a upset customer who is tired of waiting in line, unfortunately your lack of planning doesn’t constitute an emergency on the part of the employees at the postal service.

  • YURI CORTES

The two woman at this location are way too rude and useless. It's my second time trying to send a package at this location and they always have an excuse not to send my packages. First time they mentioned my package was to small to fit the label ( it wasn't. I have sent smaller packages) second time she only wanted to scan my QR code through the window and said the computer wasn't scanning my Qr code which I think it's a lie because I asked her if I can try on a different computer with her coworker next window and she just said come back another time very rudely. I definitely think she is being racist because her behavior towards me feels like hatriage.

  • Rae Barker

I had my wedding dress mailed priority, and it was sent through the regular bulk system. They charged me 57 dollars and still sent it regular mail. I know because I have several friends who work in USPS and they tracked it for me and confirmed it wasn't shipped priority. It was supposed to be delivered on a Wednesday, three days and it took 8 days. Also, my package, with my wedding dress inside, was banged up and had either gasoline or some kind of oil all over the package. I double wrapped my dress before I shipped it off, and I am so glad I did. My dress would have been ruined and smelled of gasoline. I will never use USPS again. So disappointing.

  • Jenny K

Can I give zero stars? The employees were rude to me in December and I should not have gone back today. I went back today to mail a package and at 3pm on a Monday there were 11 people ahead of me. Again the employees were rude and made it seem like we were all inconveniencing them. I asked if they would tape down a small edge of the package I bought from them and was told "we don't have tape". (It was going Priority mail, I remember a time they did have tape for Priority mail). After both of these experiences, I won't be going back. I'll go to the UPS store or FedEx. I'm not even interested in buying stamps and sending letters USPS either.

  • L Pagan

Wish I could give it a negative 0 for customer service. I came here thinking it would be better than Pottsburg Post Office but it's no better. The employees are so freaking rude like they're doing you a favor and can't bother. Seems like that's across the board. Lazy, bad attitude and no matter how nice you can be and cheery they act like their lives suck or they just bit into a lemon that left the juice in their mouth. If you're going to be in customer service at least have a good attitude or be grateful you have a job or get an education and get a job you like. Not having an education is no excuse for being rude.

  • DARKSIDEMACH2K3

Clerk #56, whom works on the left most desk, should not be working with the public. She should be working behind the scenes. I have no doubt every review here describing a "rude woman" is this same clerk. I have never in my life encountered a more unhappy, unfriendly person. She treats people like they are a bother, consistently. I am starting to ship with FEDEX when possible to avoid this lady, seriously. Tha ladies out on Main Street, Ms Donna and Co are so wonderful and this clerk #56 without an ID Badge (gee I wonder why, and doesn't ask you to do the survey either) shouldn't be representing our PO.

  • Kristina F

These employees live to make people’s lives miserable. Line is always out the door with only 1 or 2 people max working. They are insanely rude given the fact that people are waiting 40 minutes in line. Their “priority 1-3 day shipping” literally takes 7-10 days on average. I know because I ship tens of items a month with these labels and they are always INSANELY LATE. Also, corporate usps should seriously take into consideration the woman that literally every reviewer mentions… if 50 people are saying she’s RUDE then something needs to be done about that. She is rude and unprofessional.

  • Kelly Paulson

The 2 people working the counter had so much attitude and then simply refused to to help me period. Trying to ship a package to our military, active duty. This is absolutely disgraceful and disgusting behavior by grown adults. I have filed a complaint and have pictures a video of this disgraceful act and it is going viral on YouTube and tictok. I have reached out to management to file a complaint. But either way- Disgusting excuses for human beings. This package is for our Military, actively serving our country! I will be taking as much action against this type of behavior as I can.

  • Scorpius

Tried to post a very important document to Europe but the letter never arrived. I went back to the post office to see what had happened female staff member said "What do you want me to do about it !!" I insisted that they check and and get back to me .. the call me and told me that they had found the letter and that it had slipped down the side of the counter and was not posted at all !!! . no apology was given.. I asked to see the manager who basically said it was one of those things and had a "Whadda ya going to do about it attitude " and basically told me to get lost.

  • J K

Is it possible to give zero Stars? Sharon is quite frankly a b****with a power trip. Drove here on my lunch hour, she rejected my address 4 times for no legitimate reason, spoke over me, and shouted at other people in line to cut me off. You have one job. Disgruntled postal worker? This is your choice to make everyone's day miserable, lady. Bless you and whatever terrible life you're living. Please STOP SPREADING ANXIETY AND RUDENESS, the world doesn't need it. I wish there was a way to never pay her salary again .. oh wait, I'll just go to UPS ✌️

  • TheTwo WomenShow

This is a smaller USPS but I do most of my shipping online, print it and drop off the packages. They do have the self-service machines to do shipping labels with and it makes it easy to do so. If you are mad about their service, there are plenty other ways to get around this. Online, you can do it. Or in their self done machines. Would be 5 stars but this facility is older and more outdated. The USPS on Beach is bigger but there is more of a wait. The lines here aren't long but if you want it done faster, go online or use the self-service machine.

  • Brittney Begeny

Awful customer service. There was nobody in line when I walked up to the window and the woman working made me go stand in “line”. She also literally threw my package into the pile of other packages and obviously did not care about anything that was inside of it. The package I sent out was supposed to be delivered on 12/9 and on 12/10 it still says it’s sitting at their location. When I called to see what was going on with it the response was a rude “there’s nothing I can do about it.” I should have checked the reviews before using this office.

  • Kay CO

This location has by far the worst customer service than any other post office I have ever visited. This lady is beyond rude. I’ve been in this post office twice now, one time at 8 am with no line and just a moment ago with a very long line. Both times she’s aggressively told me to step away from her window until she called me up and both times I’ve began with excuse me ma’am just a quick question. I don’t usually do reviews but this manager here must know about her. I’ve attached a photo and I’m sure everyone else comments are about her too.

  • Ricardo Prada

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Every individual that works at this location is extremely combative and down right rude. The employee named Porsha is by far the worst. Every single time I drop off a letter or package there is some reason as to why my package is wrong. I stopped being nice and have had to stoop down to her miserable level in order to get any type of service….. There is no manager. There is no customer care. There is no “corporate” number to call. Simply, don’t go to this location unless your looking for a verbal altercation.

  • Philip K

Always a bad experience. The staff at this location is consistently rude, slow, and unhelpful. The staff come across as though they are being put-upon by just having shown up to work -- let alone be helpful. This is why the Post Office needs a major over-haul. It's no wonder there are so many 1 star reviews here. Needing help mailing something? Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. On the other hand, every time I walk into a UPS, FedEx, or Goin' Postal I am greeted by professionals who are happy to assist.

  • Erwin Martinez

DO NOT WAIST YOURE TIME HERE . This one of the most unprofessional post offices. Always just one person checking out customer. The scam you for prices and dates. Do NOT drop off packages here. They hold your packages for over-weeks for no reason , never sent them out the day showing on your receipt. THE LOCATION it’s pretty dirty and falling in pieces.Service is the worst. Super rude ,eye rolling all the time and you can clearly see , this people doesn’t care about their customers from this location.

  • Sandy Mitzer

If you’re looking for a bunch of dead-end-circle-the-drain lowlifes who end up here as a waste of space and enjoy being miserable, you’ve come to the right place. This postal office is full of highly incompetent losers who are rude and unskilled in just about every aspect of life. Sorry you’re all gross and aging and haven’t done anything impactful with your life. It doesn’t mean you should take it out on everyone else. Everyone who works there is overweight and lacks common sense.

  • Ashlee McQuary

Every time I have to ship something through USPS, I loathe it. This particular location is TERRIBLE. I was sent back 4 TIMES after waiting in line each time because they wouldn’t help me complete my transactions due to something being incomplete or not like it needed to be. They also treated me like I was a complete inconvenience despite being friendly and patient the entire time. I can’t understand why they are allowed to treat customers like this as a government agency.

  • Ricci Rivera

I’m so disgusted with the way my mail and the mail in my community is being handled. It’s almost like boxes are randomly being picked and dropped in random mailboxes. I have received so many people’s mail and so many packages have not made it to me. I tried calling and can’t get someone on the line. Mail is federal. How can this keep happening and nothing be done about it!? I received 3 diff packages that weren’t mine nor were the addresses even close to mine today ALONE.

  • Brandi Akers

I have never been to such a rude unorganized post office in my life. The person at the desk was unprofessional and not helpful at all! We just moved here, everywhere else people are so pleasant and friendly. However that stops at the door of this post office! Click and ship needs to work so I do not have to go to this place again! I won’t I will find another office even if it means I have to drive out of my way!!! DO NOT use this post office, go elsewhere!!! RUDE!!!

  • JaLiyah Durham

I have NEVER been to such a DISGUSTING, UNORGANIZED, DISRESPECTFUL Post Office a DAY IN MY LIFE! The older black lady with the nasty wig was very rude from the jump. She didn’t even attempt to assist the man at the desk. Then the man refused to do my PO BOX informing me to come back on Monday AFTER I mentioned that I was not a resident in the area. The one star is the least it could be.. I will be calling corporate on Monday and cancelling this PO Box.

  • Andrew Magee

I attempted to do the same thing I did at different post offices in Orlando for 30 years and was accused of trying to commit mail fraud before being forced to pay for a label since they said I could not just write the address on the package. When I told them to keep the extra label and give it to someone else who might need it later, however, they acted like I was such a nice fellow. I will now drive out of my way just to avoid using this location.

  • Venus Urdaneta

If I could give it 0 ZERO stars I would do it, the bad treatment of customers is the worst, they are totally rude and badly educated people, if I had known the treatment they give to people I would never come to this place, apart from deleting the comments of the people so they don't look bad! Never come to this place, if you have a problem with your package they will not help you at all! and they get upset if you don't speak English well

  • Alex Shevchenko

I have been shipping for 14 years daily. This location tells me I'm using too much tape and didn't want scan my packages. Told me to go to a bigger location next time which has a loading dock. I have one usps bin and 3 12x12x8" boxes. I never even had to drop off at a loading dock at any other location that I've ever been to, even with 10 times the amount of packages. Just not good customer service and unkept old looking post office.

  • Gmail account

Sharwran, the tall and big woman with blonde curly wig is extremely unprofessional and rude with very bad attitude. This post office is always understaffed and so slow. The lines go to the door and takes more than 30 minutes to go through the line. The flat rate priority mail boxes are never fully stocked. There needs to be a surprise visit from the Post Master General to this location to train these slow and rude employees.

  • Briip braap

Whoever they have delivering mail to Florida Club at Deerwood right down the street needs to be fired. Lost packages, misplaced in different mailboxes, can't bother to drop off signature required packages to the leasing office when they're open, rude and lazy when you ask to just get your mail when they're dropping it off. Absolutely useless. It causes a complete headache when I'm dealing with time sensitive packages

  • Ashleigh Fowler

Don’t ever come here. The ladies in the front are rude, I’ve never been to a post office where they don’t provide tape just to tape the top of the bag. She said I’d have to purchase tape because it’s not included in the type of return. No wonder why they have lower stars…. Go to another one save your headache. Surprised they even have jobs with how rude they are…. This post office must’ve been desperate for workers.

  • Elena Leno

I recently got a PO Box there. Prices are $25 more for 6 months than the PO Box I just closed in Port Orange. I had Amazon Prime deliver, & they hold packages for a day before they release them to you. Where do they have the right to do that? And the clerk was snippy about it. And sweetheart that I am apologized to her for getting upset. She still refused to give me my packages. They will be available tomorrow.

  • Denise W

These people need to get it together! They are very rude! They don’t greet the customers and are VERY UNHELPFUL. This happens everytime I go and my son says the same thing about them. Something needs to be done. I mean, what are the reviews for if nothing will be done or changed??? I only continue to use this location because I live close to it. Horrible horrible customer service experience!!!!!!!!

  • N G

Big black lady with with stupid mullet wig tried to tell me I was using too much tape and would refuse my package. Forced me to go get a new priority box with new tape. If saving tape was the goal she failed. I cannot believe this woman is allowed to act like this to the general public. This is a gross abuse of the most marginal amount of power. She needs to be fired and I don't say that lightly.

  • Jeremy Eveland

When I first walked in, I was a bit dismayed at the very long line as I had come in here on my lunch break for some stamps. However, several well-placed signs directed me to a self-checkout kiosk (much like an ATM) where I can select the quantity of stamps I wanted and pay for them at the kiosk. It then printed them out for me and I was able to make it in and out without waiting in the long line.

  • Marino Ozkaya

This USPS never checks its postal box. The box is supposed to be emptied every day at 12 and 6:30, but 90% of the time it is so full you cannot put anything into it, which shows its never checked. I have dropped off first class mailers in there and it has taken a minimum of 3 days to pick up both times. Did not have this issue at the branch I used to go to on Sunbeam when I lived in Mandarin.

  • Marcella

The woman at the counter is BY FAR the rudest and most unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered in my life!!! After waiting in line for 15 minutes, she refused to accept my package because she said it needed to be tapped more… then proceeded to tell me I can buy a full roll of tape for $4. I’ve never been to a post office that didn’t add additional tape if they felt it was necessary.

  • Freddy C.

Most workers are rude and have no sense of urgency, especially when there is a long line. Once they told me “sorry for your wait” but it was not sincere as the person made no eye contact when she said it. These were just empty words. I don’t blame the employees; I BLAME THE SUPERVISORS. They are allowing this behavior. It’s the supervisors that need to be trained to be a supervisor.

  • Shirley A Gonzalez

From the moment I stepped in the door, and there is nobody in line only one customer at the counter the representative name, Sha’ron was so rude to me without no reason unless she has something against Hispanics. She has no customer service skills at all.. she should not be working at the post office we need grey people were good customer service skills in the government offices

  • Pat Gionet

Plan to wait forever in a very long line and the service you finally get is mediocre. Also, THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!!! I suspect it is automatically cut off as you are waiting for "the next available operator," who never picks up. I have NEVER been able to get these people to answer at any time of the work day. Horrible service. Too few employees serving the lines, as well.

  • Meghan Webster

Absolutely awful customer service. Lady tried to give attitude about what day the label was created and the day the package was being shipped. I’ve been shipping packages through Poshmark for years and have never had someone give me any attitude. I have a window to ship the package and the created date doesn’t matter. Doesn’t deserve the right to be a government employee

  • basim tannous

Staff there is great and do the best they can whenever I come in and ship items. It’s always busy here so it makes sense why you don’t get anyone to pick up the phone. It’s not the staffs fault they are understaffed. It’s the governments fault for wasting money elsewhere causing understaffing in all government agencies. Too few workers for such a busy office.

  • Kris Barr

Probably one of the worst usps in Jax. There will be a line of customers to the door and the women will be in the back will be laughing and carrying-on like they’re off clock. No sense of urgency or customer service. I would rather deal with a machine than ever have to talk to the workers in this place. They clearly hate their jobs and it shows.

  • KK Dadson

They close at 530. I got there at 5.05pm and the rude black lady yelled across the hall that she was closed because she had a line of 5 people to serve. This is the 3rd time in 6 weeks that I wtnessed this Jamaican/Caribbean lady being rude to customers. She does not need to be in customer service at all. RUDE RUDE RUDE!

  • Arwen Pritchett Freer

I have used this branch many times, and always get good service. The lines can be a little long at lunch, but this area is heavy with businesses and it is normal for everyone to crowd in during the lunch rush and just after 5pm. Seems like they could use a few extra employees though to help them handle the high volume.

  • Cindy

Stopped by today and discovered I had put the postage on the wrong box. Rather than charge me more (they could have) they let me change boxes and tape my postage to the correct box. The manager and gentleman who stands out front to help the patrons were very kind and helpful. I could have been a little nicer myself!

  • Laura Ingalls

This post office does not answer their phone. How can they get away with this? I have called several times over the last 2 days at all different times. Called USPS and they said they cannot call them because I had reached a call center. AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL service. Is anyone at USPS paying attention to these review?

  • Mallory Mastronardi

I had to come back to this place 2 days in a row. The 1st lady told me they had no tape and there’s nothing she could do about it. A post office with no tape? Hm. Then the next day Sha’ron had an attitude all around. I would not come back here again. Not to mention both days I stood in a line 20+ minutes.

  • A T Mac

I interacted with what appears to be an international worker whose accent was strong. Additionally I watched a lady at the desk politely help customer, refused to give me her name so that I could lodge a complaint and refused further service. I hurled explicit comments about her demeanor and departed.

  • Andrea King

Didn’t scan my package and told me my barcode was late. It doesn’t matter when I print it out because the barcode has all the info. I never have this problem from Amazon. Give up and get bought from Amazon already. You guys need to retire. If my package doesn’t get delivered I want to be reimbursed!

  • Human Forerunner

Unlike most of the other reviewers on here, I have not had a bad experience other than the wait times. The postal workers were able to answer any questions I had and get what I needed. They just seemed like they disliked their job, because it is not a fun job to have. :-P I understand that, though.

  • Kelly Mathis

I have been going there for years and never met a rude employee. I have found the employees to be courteous and efficient. They are definitely understaffed and do the best that they can. Those that complain about rude employees should double check their own attitude before walking up to the window.

  • Bruno Garnier

Clerk 56. This lady is the worst. I have been to this USPS location many times and always have to deal with her. Every time, she is very disrespectful. I always thought “it’s okay , everybody has a bad day”. But, with this lady a bad day is everyday. She shouldn’t work with customer service.

  • Mike APQ

should be zero.the lady is lazy.she doesn't want to scan my package.even there is no people in line, she is free.Force me to the auto machine.she doesn't tell me her name when i want to check her tag.why do we pay for them.this lady should be fired or close this the branch.don't come here.

  • Kate Fogarty

Extremely unhelpful. Would not do a money order for me for $6. Told me I could go to Publix. Didn’t have stickers for priority mail and my pen does not write on their envelopes. I’ve never had such a poor experience at a post office on a Tuesday morning (4/19 9:25 am to be specific).

  • Prem Raja Singh C

Should not give not even 1 star .. They don't know how to work smart .. They don't know how to serve the people quickly in the crowd time ..the gentleman over there is little kind and helpful but the other lady over there is not at all helpful and she is very rough to the visitors.

  • Chasity Garcia

They have terrible customer service,no sense of urgency or care. They never seem to answer the phones. The drivers are no better unfortunately. I never seem to get my deliveries and every time I have to talk to someone no one seems to have a sense of urgency on their end as well.

  • Les Rodgz

This postal office employees need a customer service training urgent!! The tall black lady with wig who work at the front desk need love in her heart, what a bittersweet experience with her!!! VERY SAD.... This is not a free services office, we pay for the services!!!!!

  • Nirvana9832

Zero stars. This is the third terrible interaction nice had. Every time I have something I need, other than to simply drop off or buy postage, k get a BS excuse because these woman don't want to do their job. Never returning tomthis PO. Y'all should be fired.

  • Rex Mangum

Try to call their store number and 3 times later still no answer. According to their website they shouldn't be busy at 10:00am so why won't they answer their phones. This is ridiculous that I can't even get ahold of them, who's doing their job around there.

  • Vonshae

There is mama that was working in there today and he is so unprofessional and moved so fast that he didn’t even let me verify my address or select the type of receipt I wanted. He just didn’t care about what anyone wanted. Smdh. Do better USPS on Belfort!

  • Oleg Olnev

The lady simply refused to send the mail, or call a supervisor. Her reasoning is that she does not know what's the content of my mail (5 pages document) and after I explained it was an apostille she didn't even know what it was, and refused to send it.

  • Christine Elyse

Go to any other post office. I took an early lunch thinking I'd beat a crowd. It took more than an hour to overnight a letter envelope. A dozen people in line and only one rep. If you think you'll save time cause it's closer, you'll be sorely mistaken.

  • raghuram sundar

Please note that i called up customer care to check timing for going on saturdau\y. It was put told to me as 9 to 1. it was actually 12.30 when i went there and came to realise the office gets closed at 12. noon. So others can make a note of this.:-)

  • L N

I know post offices are not typically known for good/friendly customer service. However, this post office had an employee that seemed to go out of her way to be rude and difficult. Never have I appreciated the other post office I usually go to more!

  • Carl Reichenbach

Went in yesterday to mail a package and it was quick and easy, inexpensive too. Lots of parking. You have to go in off peak hours if you don't want to wait in line, which is the problem everywhere. I use this post office as it's closest to my work.

  • Sabrina Graham

Customer service is out of order. I'm missing a packaged that Jacksonville decided to do nothing with for three days, and they don't even want to answer their phone. The other number doesn't even give me the option to speak with a human being.

  • Chelsea Lopez

The front counter rep refused to accept a perfect condition Amazon box even though it had a paid USPS label on it (and no other labels or stickers). There is no rule against re-using/recycling boxes and I have used these boxes on several

  • Mazen Hassanin

Worst customer service i have ever had in a post office there was a lady that works there her name was sharon she was very rude and very unprofessional to do anything with customer service ..will never ever be back at that location

  • Emily Gruber

One of the women working here loves to make people miserable. I have never had as many issues mailing out packages as I do when she’s working the counter. I would recommend skipping the line altogether and just using self service.

  • Danniel Bartley

lack of personnel at the counters. line is almost to the door. it is 4:30pm there should be 3 people up front helping people out instead of just one person. wait time is 5 minutes up to 45 minutes depending your place in line. SMH

  • Rebecca Howard

The lady at the front desk is easily. The most incompetent person I have ever had this pleasure of meeting. She does not deserve to have a job. She needs to be fired right away disrespectful lucky that she didn’t get smacked

  • Kiran Dalavai

Horrible service. USPS here close at 5:30 and I was thr before they were closing. Still they didn’t accept my package. But They are ready to accept my package if I use priority package but can’t accept if I choose regular!!!

  • divya sree

Always a bad experience... i always face the same lady who is so rude, that she denies helping me with adhesive or tape my package and says she doesn’t have one, but she does have beside her... not a friendly environment.

  • Joseph Monterio

Very poor customer service. Rude individuals behind the counter. 10 minute wait with 1 person in line. Every time I take a package their with a return label that’s been provided, they always have 0 value add comments.

  • Keegan Mathur

Held my priority mail package for two weeks with no updates, had to call the main USPS number to open an investigation to get the package moving. 2-3 day priority mail that took almost three weeks to deliver.

  • Celeste Matthews

Horrible service. Rude representatives said they close at 5:11 & not 5:30, as they are supposed to. They sent well over 10 ppl out, because they didn’t want to do their jobs. Poor representation of the USPS.

  • Mike Jones

Ms. Sims is never professional when I need to ship items. I have encountered her being very disrespectful to other patrons for no reason. Makes no sense how someone who’s is in customer service is this rude.
