Extreamly rude in general!! I try to avoid this post office branch at all costs!! When I lost my mailbox key I had to go up to this post office several times in an attempt to get a new mailbox key (I ended up finding my key so I didn't have to attempt for the 4th time). I did go without a mailbox key for 5 months. My mailman in my neighborhood is also horrible...most recently today I received an email from Amazon saying there was a delivery attempt of my pkg and the reasoning it was on unsuccessful is because mailbox was full...Its a pkg that won't fit into my mailbox in general so that reasoning is bs. I've been Home all day he could have knocked st my door or left it by my door. Honestly it was most likely laziness most likely didn't want to pick my pkg up out of his truck. He also didn't bother to leave me a notice stating an attempt to deliver. I called post office on hold for an hour and a half and they were unable to help me due to the fact that I wasn't given a number on delivery attempt and they also couldn't locate pkg by tracking number. So here I am on my one day off waiting for the box spring to be delivered for my daughters big girl. Bed so I can finish up her room. I'm annoyed...also this mailman has never been friendly with me at all. I got to know him a little in the five months I had to wait by the mailbox for him when I didn't have my key to check my mail once or twice a week. He was always rude to me for no reason. I hate my job but I don't act like a mean person to everyone around me and I do my job well and give good service. He's not even doing his job at all and being rude. I think the post office is a joke in general and My as well get rid of them. Ups is so much better and the people are so much friendlier!!! I was also supposed to get a book today with that delivery and that didn't happen either

There should be an option to post negative stars because this place doesn't even deserve it. Theres three extremely rude black girls who work there that I've seen scream at 70+ year old women for not hearing them, I've seen one of them give a handicap boy attitude, and they stand at the counter not doing anything but if you step past the red line you get screamed at. People make mistakes all the time, especially when theres poor customer service or things aren't labeled properly. Regardless there is no reason to scream at ANY customer. I've only ever had to drop off packages with prepaid postage and they must LOVE playing tricks on their customers because the website I got the prepaid postage from says it covers up to $9 of a package/box. I used the small flat rate boxes about four times and never got charged, the fifth time I used the small box I got chewed out from the short haired lady and told that the prepaid "doesn't cover any packages missy, especially not the flat rate, can't you read?". The next time I used just a cheap bubble envelop and didn't get charged, second time I used a bubbler I was charged, the list of them doing this to me goes on and on. I was told the prepaid postage covers blue envelops so I try to use them the next time and they tell me its red. When you tell them THEY're the ones that are giving you the wrong information they just shake their head and give you attitude. Absolutely no accountability and I'm assuming they just care about making the extra $1 off of everyone. Done with this location I'll drive further just to get away from those three rude ladies. I'd be a shock to be if they graduated high school because they act like they don't have any common sense or manners.

*PLEASE AVOID THIS POST OFFICE* They will steal your packages!!! I have been here before to this location as a regular customer but after this last visit I will NOT be returning. I have been unable to track a package that I sent out and I STRONGLY believe it has been stolen by someone there in the facility. The package contained baby formula, which I was lucky enough to find during this shortage. No one has a CLUE where it is, and the guy there in charge of tracking was very rude and unhelpful. I have noticed a few other people are having the same issues locating/receiving their mail or packages (some even Priority Mail) have come up missing as well. All I was told to do was fill out a claims report and yet no one in that department has gotten back to me since. I asked for a refund since my package is now indeed lost by them but was told I couldn't get one. BIG RED FLAG. I ended up going to MY BANK and filing a transaction dispute where I did receive a refund. Since this has happened, I have started taking my packages to UPS where I have not had any of these issues. So what does that tell you? I was able to find more formula which I’ve been mailing out to my sister in law. This place has continued to go downhill between it always being incredibly short staffed and now to this. Don’t believe me? Read their reviews. I cannot stress this enough- AVOID THIS PLACE

Oh boy yet another day that nobody on my street got any mail. It does seem to happen quite often. However if they failed to deliver it, would come as no great surprise to me. I have found important mail laying in my yard. Important mail for other people laying in my yard. Had my neighbors bring important pieces of mail over to me and tell me they found it in their yard. A couple years ago when I had a man with a gun walk up and take mail out of my box, (neighbor saw it and was going to confront the man until he was showed the gun). I reported it to the post office and they said they would have investigators contact me. I called they about 4 times then figured that it was not important enough for them to do anything about it. I estimate they stole about $475 worth of stuff I was waiting on from Ebay from me. The way they responded and the way the thief was following the mail truck around and pulling in right behind him to each box and cleaning it out it was almost like they were working together. Oh well that was too long ago to do anything about. I guess the check that was suppose to be here today to keep from me bouncing a check tonight will arrive tomorrow should they choose to deliver on our road I will deposit it, pay the $29 bounced check fee and go about my business. And they wonder why they are going out of business.

We went to the post office to specifically ask about wax seals and adding them to wedding invitations. The information we received was that we could use them no problem but needed to add an additional stamp so they wouldn’t be machinable and that that would be enough. Two employees at this location told us the same thing. A week later we returned to mail them and were told there were no guarantees and that we’d need to stamp them with twice withreceived these ugly red stamps across the front to mail them. When we requested to speak with a supervisor since we conflicting information we had to wait over 1 hour and still the did not care to come talk to us. No apologies for the money spent, ruining one of our invitations with their ugly stamp (which they used on it without asking - they were just testing it they said) , conflicting information - all we received was ‘well the employees must’ve not known’ - then why the hell are they telling customers wrong info, train them to not give inaccurate info that causes them to spend over $100 more. Completely unprofessional and even more so that the supervisor if this location couldn’t care to come to the front after the supervisor bell was rung well over 5 times. Never going to this post office again.

I walked in today with a birthday present for my niece. I needed a box and to pay for shipping. As I was looking at boxes, a sales associate (Valencia) came up to me to help without me even asking. What I was sending was an odd size that didn't fit into any of the boxes that were offered without them being way too big. Valencia went into the back and found a couple of boxes to see if one of them would work. We found the perfect box and then she helped me to pack it up and address it. All of this without me even asking anyone for help. She was very kind and upbeat. I felt like a family member instead of a customer. I then waited in line to ship my box. I didn't wait long but a line started to form behind me. As soon as a few people were in line, another associate came out to help everyone get through. There was another worker, who I can only assume was the manager based on his attire, was asking people in line if they were there for things other than shipping that he could help them with. I've never been to a post office where everyone was so helpful and had such a positive attitude. I don't think this location is closest to where I live but I will go out of my way to deal with these wonderful people again.

After futile attempts to reach USPS by phone & email and losing two mails that were sent from the same sender in Charlotte, NC, I finally paid a visit on 01/09/2019. The office staff (Bindu) who was serving us greeted me rather rudely & didn't even look at the printed copy I had regarding the missing mail. Instead she just rudely said if there's no tracking number I can't help. So I asked her if there's a supervisor, to which she said he'll be there in some time. The supervisor Mr. Winston was kind, courteous & gave an ear to my issue with an intention to help. The missing mails were IELTS Test Results & I wonder if there's something fishy going on at this USPS location because a mail can be lost once, not twice & that too coming from the same sender. A mail from Timbuktu goes missing, it'll be accepted but a mail from Charlotte, NC to Jacksonville, FL vanishes into thin air, twice? Isn't that a shame for USPS a service provider that it can't even handle domestic mail? Also the staff needs rigorous training on basic Customer Service to begin with. With a rating of 1.8 this location seems to be on a suicide mission to close soon.

Why is Zero stars not a choice. If you need to send me anything, I suggest either email, fax, or hand deliver, as I will not receive it if you send it via USPS. Multiple misplaced packages. Constantly receiving mail for other people. I filed a 1-800 complaint, and the fantastic representative (she really was great, but no affiliation with this store) gave me a case number and recommended I call the store, as it was still taking calls. I call 7 times until finally an angry man answered and told me there was nothing he could do and to call back at 0900. I call back the next morning (8 TIMES!) and never an answer. So I take an hour out of my workday to drive over to tell them my situation and explain that my package was time sensitive, and the delivery supervisor decides the appropriate response is to bring the mail carrier to the front to have me speak with him directly (turns out he wasn't working when my package was "delivered"). The ultimate response: "I'll be out in 3-4 hours, I can check to see if it was placed in the wrong mailbox at that time." This is the third time this has happened.... COMPLETELY UNSATISFACTORY!

Absolutely horrible CS! I've had my PO Box here for years and get additional services as my business requires street addressing. Every renewal I print out and sign paperwork and bring to this location. For some reason even though I was informed I did everything on my end and they would process everything, they did not. I ended up handing them 3 sets of paperwork, coming 6 times, being met with attitude like I was bothering them. I was told they'd talk to a manager and put a note in my box. They did not. I was then told a manager would call me, no one did and again for the 4th time my additional services were canceled. If the shoe were on the other foot and it was their business it'd be done the first time. I am beside myself on how I've been treated both online and by this location. Lied to. Empty promises. Attitude from Bindu or whatever her name is and no help what-so-ever. I had been more than patient! I am epileptic and cannot drive so the time I had to take off, the rides I had to get and the stress this has caused me is unbelievable. I am taking my business elsewhere and so should everyone else.

I avoid this place like the plague because I've had so many rude encounters with the postal workers there. They're curt, rude and arrogant. They treat customers like they're an annoyance. Worst yet, this is "my" post office! I get tracking notifications that parcels have been delivered to my mailbox or a parcel locker and it's not there! Time and time again this happens, only to have the item show up two or three days later! I'm sure I know what's happening, they're just saying they delivered an item to make the computers think something got there on time, and then they deliver it when they feel like it. Try to get to the bottom of things? Right...my USPS account says its disabled and I need to re-register. You re-register and it says, "Looks like you have an account already, sign it with that." You go back to sign in, and its still disabled! The best things we can do is scrap the whole damn, dysfunctional organization, privatize it and fire all these awful government workers! No wonder the organization is a disaster...

I can't believe that the USPS is conducting business this way. I got a notification from Amazon and USPS that my package was delivered on Monday like I was expecting. I go to retrieve it and it's not there. I called the Pottsburg office and the employee was disinterested and rude. She suggested that I go across the street and look for it. She said the carrier scanned it on my street and that it should have been delivered. Well, it wasn't and obviously they aren't hearing me. I can't track my package anymore because it has been scanned as delivered! The sad thing is, this isn't my first incident with missing packages. I recently just resolved an issue in September for the same exact situation and here we are again. I filed a case with consumer affairs. My next step is First Coast News and News for Jax. What they are doing has to be illegal. Am I just supposed to trust these people with my mail deliveries come the holidays?

  • Will Adams

I paid extra to overnight a package from Amazon to my work which is in an office building on the second floor. Supposedly the package was delivered to a mailbox at my building but, there is no mailbox in the entire building. I called a talked to them on a Friday afternoon and they said the guy that delivered the package was already off work but that they would check with him on Saturday when he came in and would call me to give me an update. Not only did they not call me but, they never answered their phone when I tried calling them multiple time throughout the morning and afternoon. And still aren't answering today (Monday). No wonder the USPS is being beaten by FedEx and UPS. They are a JOKE. Don't rely on them to deliver anything and use FedEx or UPS for anything you need shipped. I can't wait until they go out of business so, I don't have to deal with them anymore.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would! This is place is the worse there is no such thing by the name of customer service! There is always a long line with only two people at the front! I have a PO box and they lost my certified mail and the manager Denise didn't seem to care and never got back at me in regards to the status! Then I spent over an hour calling and I finally got someone to answer the phone with an attitude and seem like he didn't want to help and they all say the same thing let me get your name and a good call back number and I'll look for it and let you know and days will pass and no one will even call to let you know that they are still looking for it! You are just better off going somewhere else! I will be cancel my PO box subscription and take it to the one downtown, at least they have better customer service!

  • Eric Deaton

The only reason this place is one star worthy was the person working the counter . she was professional and helpful. The person organizing the line for social distancing was horrible. She took it to be her responsibility to loudly berate each customer as they arrived. She wouldloudly and angrily say that we shouldn't be there and that we were going to get people sick. I,myself, was there to mail items that couldn't be found in a small town in Georgia that are a necessity that I had access to. She acted as if we were just there to have fun and ignore the stay at home order. No one wants to go to the post office unless they have to as is. But now to be yelled at by their employees? Someone needs to retire early. But we all know the USPS doesn't care. T hats why they're becoming extinct.

  • Sonja Stone

I am very disappointed in USPSs lack of care and respect for packages. I have now had TWO packages arrive with their boxes damaged. One package had FRAGILE clearly marked, as it was transporting some delicate teacups. Only two of the teacups survived, and the recipient sent me photos of the damage. The box was crumpled like an accordion. The second package was a BRAND NEW chainsaw. The box had never been opened before. When it got to its destination, you could see the merchandise poking out of the torn bottom of the box, and the box portion that covers the blade was hanging half open. I have the receipts for these shipped items as well. I would like to hear from a supervisory representative, as now I am having to compensate my recipients for damages that are not my fault.

  • Dane Czerniak

I sent two letters out from here along with two boxes. The boxes arrived as usual to their destination, but the letters took some time. What happened was that the letters were not lost in the mail as I had feared but were cut open by the machines because they were actually thank you cards in square envelopes, and the machines that process the mail somehow cut them open, and took longer than usual to arrive. I did have money in both cards, but to the credit of the postal employees, NONE of the money was lost, and one of the cards was actually taped where it had been cut. Even if there seems to be an issue at a post office, the employees and the supervisor, who at this one is named Stan, are honest and have integrity and will do all that they can to help you. Thank you!!!

  • Stephanie O

The moody female ( using this f word in place of the one I'd really like to use) with the short wig at this location was not at all helpful and extremely rude! I was told to go to another line and wait for a supervisor only for her to tell me that a supervisor was not available to help me & that my package had probably been returned to sender. So I left. That was a lie! I turned around and went back knowing there had to be some kind of higher up on board. I asked one of the nicer ladies for a manager. She tried to direct me to the angry bull by packaging but I told her how she lied to me. So she got Shelton (the supervisor that was supposedly unavailable) who was actually very well spoken and helpful. I left with the package that I was told wasn't there.

I have literally driven by and visited this Post Office for going on 7 months now and they dare not cut the grass, it's an eyesore ,it's disturbing that tax dollars do not get spent very well at this particular facility ,it kind of makes you wonder who's pocketing the money? why will they not cut the grass it's a government office, it looks as trashy on the outside and about half as trashy on the inside ,somebody please fix this problem I can't stand to see it like this it's as worse as it's ever been!!! Whoever's cutting the grass is either stealing the state's money and we also need some flower beds for God's sakes please somebody who do I call???

  • Christina Rentschler

Submitted a request on 4/1 to have keys cut for my mailbox and was initially told it would take a month and a half to two months due to covid-19. Three months later, and I still do not have a key to get into my mailbox. Until two weeks ago, I'd been having my mail held at the Pottsburg station post office, and was able to at least pick up my mail there. Have not received any mail now for approximately two weeks, even after I submitted another mail hold request on 6/30. Have been getting nothing but the runaround from the clerks working at the post office. Update: Wound up having to forward my mail to a family member's address in order to get my mail.

  • StevenJanelle Burtner

Not only is this the worst USPS location I’ve ever encountered, it is the worst place of business that I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been unfortunate enough to be forced to pick up my mail from this location weekly for the past 5 months while awaiting the USPS to fix my neighborhood’s communal mailbox and the experience here is very consistent. I didn’t know it was possible for a place of business to display such disgusting depths of ineptitude and laziness. Whoever is managing this location is a total failure as a leader as their own incompetence and absence of accountability has clearly trickled down to every last employee.

  • David Stanley

I got a tracking notice that my package was delivered to the parcel locker, but the parcel locker key wasn't left in my box. I left a note for the mailman. When I came home, the note was shredded, and still no key. I tried calling the office multiple times. There was never a hold time of less than an hour. It's hard to believe how little quality control this "organization" has. I'd like to update this: I spoke to the supervisor Jerry first. He at least seemed sympathetic, if impotent. God help you if you get Steve. Never used profanity, never raised my voice, and he hung up on me twice. As rude as he is useless.

  • Melinda Rajoria

I don’t know why but no matter what state or town you live in the USPS has really bad reviews. 1. You can’t get a better price for shipping 2. The people who work here work hard and through many holidays just so we can get mail as soon as possible. 3. With many upgrades to their system like prepaying and QR scanning to print shipping labels for us- they are making diamonds out of coal It’s too bad the social influencer trump was able to obliterate the usps and it’s systems for collection and delivery. Also the people who work here have been nothing but nice and helpful. People need a reality check.

  • milton pereda

This is the second time I had to call about my mail. Recently I was mailed my bank statements from my bank well they never arrived. Called downtown and beach Blvd neither had them. They were delivered to the wrong mailbox now my statements along with my account numbers are floating around who knows where. I have been the object of identity fraud and fought a year to clear the mess. Now I have to go into my accounts to make sure it doesn't happen again. My neighbors told me there was a problem with one of the carriers. Do you hire people who can't read? I don't even give you a 1 but I had to.

  • Ken Connors

After our bank of mailboxes was broken into, it became necessary to pick up the mail at this post office. The intent is to use the window to the left, but often nobody works there, and it becomes necessarily to stand in line with too many patrons and too few workers. This lasts forever. I've been told after standing in line that I needed to go to that window. I told them that nobody was there. They wound up walking over to the window to meet me, and the line got longer. Louie DeJoy would be proud. That said, I think the folks who work there do a good job, it is inadequately staffed.

  • Johnny Scott

Imagine a day where the postal service actually had all the paperwork (priority, registered, return receipts) that was needed to be filled out ready and available before you approach the counter. Now fast forward to today where we have to wait in line to get the paperwork, fill it out and return to the line only to be told we should also put everything on the envelopes ourselves to save time for them. The paperwork stations are still there, just empty Also what he meant by save time is so he could have a constant conversation with a Co-worker... "did ya hear me"

  • Alyssa Herrera

The Indian lady that works there is so rude she came up to me and snatched the stamps out of my hand and said it was someone else’s after I just purchased 30 stamps as well in the self service. I did not know someone else before me purchased some and had issues getting them out!! One that’s rude of her to come at me like that without informing me what was going on. All I did was walk in go to self service purchase stamps and one set popped out. Then she came at me rudely. Someone needs manners. She didn’t even apologize she just gave them to the lady and walked away.

  • Adrienne Banovetz

If I could give it zero stars, I would do so. I sent a package from MI to Jacksonville and, unfortunately, the package had to go through this sorry excuse for a post office. The package has disappeared and has been held by the post office against the addressee’s request. The addressee went to this post office to obtain the package, only to be told they did not have a package with that tracking number. I have repeatedly called this disaster zone and they do not answer and do not have a voicemail. At one point, someone picked up, and then promptly hung up the phone!

  • Stephanie Hernandez

The staff here are extremely rude and unhelpful. You would think that a government agency would have a better vetting system when selecting employees. I would also expect an agency such as a post office to have more than 1 pen taped to a chain that doesn’t even work….and please don’t ask the staff because they will tell you that they don’t have any. One would also expect a federal building to use Air Conditioning… At least 78 degrees with a crowd of people…. And the US post office wonders why nobody uses their services anymore. Just gonna stick with FedEx

  • Amanda Saad

This is the most dishonest group of postal workers I have ever had to deal with. They claimed they delivered my package to my parcel locker and it was not there, when I called to ask they claimed they left it at the front door, but nothing was there. They sent me on this huge run around and never once have I received my package. Now because tracking says it was delivered the company wont refund me or help. Worst customer service. The worst part is there is nothing we can do or no one higher to complain to. Also they never answer their phone, its unreal

  • Elm Lem

This post office stole all items I mailed from Columbia South Carolina to my sister in Florida. The contents were 16 cans of Lysol, 8 containers of Clorox disinfectant Wipes, 2 containers of purell hand sanitizer and a 20 pack of mask. They sent me a piece of the box with my name and address on it and my sisters name and address and said this was all that was recovered of my package. The package had been missing for about a month but was tracked to this location a week after I mailed it. It’s the employees stealing the packages! It’s really a disgrace.

  • Brandon

good on other days but 3/2/2019 was not one of them I seen 4 people on a row tell them they have bad service and one guy even recorded his bad experience.. we were in the front of the line waiting for a supervisor from 9:15 a.m.- 9:34a.m. and then we were told there was not one. one guy came up and asked "so is there a supervisor here?" and the lady replied no then the guy said "so you basically wanted my time" if they wouldve just told us we need to take a copy and call you back later we wouldve been moving faster... just a bad experience...

  • Michael

The Store is solid and orderly, but the service run out of it atrocious. As a business they are responsible for destroying my incoming package; folding a package to fit it into a Po Box. The business (USPS in total) then refused to make any amends for damage deliberately caused by their employees. This was not incidental damage handling, the employee actively chose to destroy the package in order to "deliver" rather then taking other responsible actions. In short, if you have the choice use UPS or Fedex and avoid USPS whenever possible.

  • Alexandria corder

I have been trying to retrieve a package for 2 weeks and no one has helped. Each time I go to this location, I have been told my package is not there with no further information. I have been consistently given the run around. From being told my package is out for delivery (tracking proved that was a lie), being told that my carrier would come to my door (didnt happen), being told TWICE a manager would reach out to me ( no one ever did). I filed a complaint on the USPS website. Definitely the worst experience I've ever had with USPS.

  • Britney K

I have been going here for years and people simply keep bashing this place. The problem isn't the service it's you! I have waited in 30 minute lines because people have no clue how a post office works. They never put their address on the packages and constantly bring in things without boxes. These workers have always been nice to me and served me fast because I have my things together. Yes sometimes they should have more people in the front to help customers but for the most part it is the customer's fault for being so unorganized.

  • Silva Simoni

Worst employees and supervisor ever. Not helpful at all. They do not have any respect. They closed the doors while we were inside, we got there at 5pm, we waited on the line. Then one of the employees told us to go the supervisor they will help you, but no that didn’t happened. We waited to see the supervisor’s face but she never came to help us out. Didn’t get no help no information. Waited for an hour. We left without getting our things done. I will never send anything with this post ever again. They steel people’s packages.

  • Tyler J

I see lots of complaints on here about speed and service and I have to say my experience has always been positive. The staff are friendly and helpful and they handle your requests in a very reasonable time frame. People may forget that the post office offers lots of various services and sometimes it’s actually the customers slowing things down not the workers. The lady in front of me spent 3 minutes picking out stamps, I can’t be mad at the staff for that. Once it was my turn everything was quick and simple

  • David Wike

Everyone at this location needs to be fired. I'm sick and tired of not receiving mail when it's supposed to be delivered. I know it's supposed to be delivered because I have informed delivery. The Courier is so bad at delivering packages I have to be waiting by the mailbox for him to actually get up to retrieve the package from his truck. UPDATE: 11/21/20 since this is still an ongoing issue I'm just going to start posting dates here of when they don't deliver my package. 11-21-20 package not delivered

  • D'Andre Wiggins

Not sure how things run here, but my package said it was delivered to the front office of my apartment or left in the mailbox, neither was the case. I then filed an complaint, I was told that the supervisor would reach back out to me in which this did not happen. Two days after I got an alert saying it was delivered, I then checked my mail just for the heck of it and there was my package. I am upset because I did not get a call from the supervisor or anyone to clear up what actually happened.

  • Theodora Robinson

I live at an new senior apartment complex and we've been told that the post office is refusing to delivery our mail. They only want to "drop" the mail and have our management distribute the mail!! We thought the issue was resolved but then the mail delivery stopped again! We haven't had mail since 6/2/16. People waiting on their checks, medicine, rent checks and other packages!! Some residents have been told they cannot pickup their mail at the post office by postal personnel!!! What

  • Michael Turner

If I could give zero stars I would. This post office is completely useless. Seems like any time I have a package go through this office, it suddenly vanishes. If you are lucky enough to get someone to answer the phone, they will tell you "We'll research the tracking number and get back to you." but they never do. Plus the employees there all seem to have chips on their shoulders. Most of them are just plain rude. And they wonder why they are going out of business. USPS is a joke.

  • Ana Novakovic

Went to the post office this morning, they didn't open untill 9;15 manager said with an attitude that she didn't have a cleaning crew, and that she rather have a place clean than open in time, and announced to everyone if we are in a rush to go outside and use self service that 100 people used before us, and nobody cleaned it. She was very unprofessional and rude. ....if she knew she can to clean before opening she should have showed up early and still be able to open in time.

  • L Byerly

Today my boyfriend and I came in for postcard stamps and was told they didn't have any although extremely inconvenient that is not the whole problem. The problem is that we were treated very rudely by the person working behind the counter. She was unapologetic and extremely rude speaking to my boyfriend as if he was a piece of garbage. She also seemed to be training a new clerk. What a fine example of customer service she showed her trainee. Will not return to this location.

  • Scott Thacker

This absolutely the WORST post office I have ever seen. The employees are rude, they take forever to deliver mail, and will actually scan it as “delivered “ whether they actually do or not. I have proof of that. Attempted talking to them at the post office but they flat out told me, “we don’t know what to tell you.” I have filed a complaint with the USPS and have sent an email to Senator Rubio. I know from all the reviews below that I am not the only one having issues.

  • James Whitfield

Went to pick up a package that was undeliverable at the Pottsburg station. The 4 employees I spoke with were rude, and seemed completely unwilling to assist me. One employee actually mentioned that he had to leave to prevent a vehicle from being towed and abruptly left without finishing helping me and another customer. In the end, they asked that I write my cell number and tracking number on a scrap piece of paper so that they could call me to assist at another time.

  • Leah Kelley

It’s no wonder the USPS is going under. The complete lack of customer service or professionalism is so frustrating. The place looks like a dump with graffiti all over it, the inside is falling apart, and the woman at the counter acted like she was inconvenienced to do her job. I asked for a pen, and she pointed at the pens on the table (one of which was broken and the other that had no ink). I now understand why people complain so much about the post office.

  • Romi

Their service is awful!! The Lady named Bundi is super rude. Since we did not have an appointment (walk ins accepted based on your website- PLEASE UPDATE INFO), she kept arguing with my husband and instead of trying to help, clearly seen she only wanted to get rid of us. Im in the hospitality field and based on this experience, she is not a good ambassador of customer service. Update tour website and change clerk. Friendly advice. Up to you, leave or take.

  • Booger7444

This post office is competent and always on time. Our mail man deserves a pay raise for his professional and speedy service. No complaints here on windy hill community. Hope someone reads this at the branch and at least praises our delivery man and the branch for their outstanding hard work. Thank you for meeting the increase in demand on delivery service. Shame on others that expect perfection with stupidity, complaints and unappreciative understanding.

  • Mark Vitriachenko

I don’t know who is the manager or supervisor of this location but it’s horrible experience with customer support at the location. This my second time to meet this person and talk about some problems which I have. Aldonia (supervisor) showed up after 1:45 hours long. 4 times front desk workers called for this person and ringed to the bell! Please somebody who in charge for the Jacksonville USPS offices, read and change something in your system please!!!

  • Cheryl Teague

I was in the branch on Saturday 5/4/18. There were a lot of people in the building. Valencia was ay her station and advising people about which line to be in and how to move through quickly, she was very knowledgeable and helpful with clear instructions. She assisted me with the things I needed to do and I was out in short order. The greatest asset ANY business has is their employees, Valencia is a great asset to the Post Office and this branch.

  • Cody Bratten

I am sure these people are nice... but when you deny someone service due to a logo on a cardboard box... Amazon btw. Claiming USPS does not ship Amazon boxes. Then I go down the street to the other USPS and they accept my package along with it being delivered just fine. It is literally cardboard. I could literally take a sharpie and black everything out. What difference does it make? Won't come here again. Or maybe I will just to make a point.

  • Karla Lofberg

The last Coupe of month they have several times send my prescriptions (which I get thru mail order) after receiving it at this facility back out of town even to Louisiana. Once claimed we refused the mail. NOT TRUE. Once back to Middleburg and this time say insufficient address. No excuse for this. I have been doing this for over 10 years and never had this problem. When I spoke to them they said it was by mistake. Really?3 times in 2 month?

  • Lisa Crayton

This post office need to be shut down. There is always one person working behind the counter and the line is always long so if u have limited mobility BRING your own chair. There was one lady I ask for a medium priority box but I have a hard time understanding her broken English because she was shouting as if I was bothering her but the tone of her voice showed how arrogant she is being a postal worker. Don’t go to this location if I were u.

  • Amber

Worst Post Office in town! There are probably 3 employees that aren't highly rude. The lady that wears the face mask will always walk away from the counter for long periods of time to avoid helping people with more than one package to mail. One of the nice employees even acknowledged that it happens all the time. I often drive to the Beaches Post Office to avoid dealing with the slow and rude service I receive at the Pottsburg location.

  • TIA TORRES

I just came through on a busy Saturday afternoon. I walked in around 12:15 with almost a line almost out 7the door. They close at 1. I was in-and-out within :15 minutes. There was A gentleman who absolutely threw a temper tantrum cussing and screaming. The ladies in this office handle him perfectly and they were able to get him out quickly before things escalated. These ladies do not get paid enough for dealing with people like that.

  • Chanthou Touch

The rudest post office employees I have ever met in my life. I moved in my hometown about two months and they still not changes my mail box key. Everytime I go to pick up my mails they act like they don’t see human stand at the pick up mail door. They make me feel very inconvenient and long wait. I have to spent time one hour each week to check my mails at this post office and still don’t know when I will receive my mail box key.

  • Keisha Kirk

By far one of the nicest USPS Office’s I have ever been too. All of the women working today 07.19, this morning… were so nice and helpful. Greeted me when I came in, helped me determine the fastest, less expensive way to mail a package to Colo for my mother. No one rushed me and everyone was just as helpful as the next. It was a pleasant experience and they got me out super fast! Great job ladies! I would definitely come back!

  • R. A.

By far the worst post office on the planet. And trust me I've seen post offices all over the world. There's always only one person working and that person is most likely doing passport appointments, which of course takes priority. Wait times sometimes goes over an hour and a half which is unacceptable!! Trust me if I could mail media mail anywhere else I wouldn't waste a minute of my day at this or any other post office. Ever!

  • B. Aidara

I arrived 30 mins before closing and this packed. Two employees were working with the public. I describe their work as 5 stars because they worked rapidly while providing kind and dignified service. The person who addressed my needs answered my questions and looked for additional stamp sheets. I enjoyed my experience and prayed that partisan politics not overcome the post office, which provides many services to the public.

  • Rob Bourne

My mom is a senior she went into this location and there was no one in line or at the counter. She walked up to the counter it knowing any better and the clerk told her that she needed to go stand behind the line and wait to be called.. as soon as she returned to the line the teller said " now you can come" with a rude attitude.. I was disappointed to find out how she was treated but I can't say I was surprised..

  • sina azimi

I haven’t spent 20 minutes of my time in this freaking place and they still haven’t given me my receipt supervisor shows up after half an hour opens the machine. She can’t figure it out. Then she started calling self-service places. I’m like you know what don’t worry about it. This is the last time I walk into the post office. Post office just wasted half an hour to 40 minutes of my lifetime. This is not right.

  • Jen Ray

If there was an option to take their star away, I would!! Customer service sucks.. That's not a shocker. Went on my lunch break to take care of my passport and I'm told "We open at 8:30am and only help the first 20 people." Well, are they hiring? I would like to only help 20 people a day and get paid to do nothing for the next 6.5 hours. If anyone knows an insider I'm looking for a job JUST like that..

  • Joshua Wessler

I've been waiting almost 3 months for my mailbox key, which I paid $25 for, to arrive and still nothing. They've apparently lost outgoing and incoming mail, including important bills, tax forms and payments and nobody seems to care. I go there once every 1-2 weeks and supposedly there has been no mail sent to me in a month, and the employees couldn't care less. Sad excuse for a post office.

  • King Vashi IV

The people are very helpful, however, hours are not the best and the lines are long depending on the time you go there. However, the staff is very knowledgeable about the things you must do in order to send a package, etc... and many things are very convenient and cheap. They even do passport photos and many other services that many other areas in Jacksonville do not bother to provide.

  • HBrown93

The rudest employees I have ever experienced in my life. They made it seem like it was such an inconvenience for them to help me with my passport application. I had an appointment. And if you don't want people going to the designated passport area, lock the door! Don't talk to me like I'm stupid and expect me to know where to go. I won't go back to this location ever.

  • Yekaterina Degtyareva

Its outrageous!!! Something needs to change!!!! My curiosity is why is this post office even open??? Iv come several times here to drop off packages and every time they literally have no one at the desks for 10-20min before anyone can assist the first person in the front line. Please, us citizens don’t deserve this horrible service!

  • CMC

It's no wonder people want to get rid of USPS. The toll free phone service is horrible for reasons beyond the scope of a review; there's no phone number on Google for reaching the local office; mail carriers are inept and the apathy towards providing good service to customers is astounding. Every experience with USPS is frustrating.

  • Heather C

If I could give zero stars, I would! Their customer service is nonexistent. My office has made 17 attempts over the last 3 business days to get someone on the phone however, they have not answered once. After ringing for multiple minutes, the call just disconnects. I mean come on, seventeen unanswered calls is simply inexcusable!

  • Southern Bell

Great staff and exceptional customer service like none I've seen at the Post Office before. I drive the extra mile to go to this branch because they also offer extended hours. I never wait more than 5 minutes in a line even when its busy. The staff is always positive and personable. Thank you to Vadia for your help today!

  • Bogdan Pshichenko

We mailed things out of here many times and did our passports and usually have a good experience. Lines are always crazy and that is a big reason for losing a star, but staff is usually friendly and helpful if you treat them in a respectful way. Just dont try to cut. There is an automatic kiosk and outdoor drop boxes.

  • Shannon McCallum

Mrs. Valerie was amazing! She was very nice and efficient. There was also a lady that was cleaning the floors when I walked in before they opened and she was VERY nice. I think she knew I had no idea what I was doing so she helped guide me to where I needed to be without even asking her. I had a great experience here!

  • Rita Phillips Harris

I haven’t received anything that says my post office box had expired. It so jacked up that you don’t call a customer to let them know they will be expiring soon. I have pd serval hundreds dollars to have this service. Now who knows who has sent me my bills. My patience are low..You wouldn’t get pd without customer

  • Michael Smith

Waited in line for 20 minutes while the front cashiers went to the back to wish kevin happy bitthday. They left 6 of us in line for 20 minutes and all we heard was Happy birthday kevin. No pens! Told I cant send my mail if I dont pay with cash. Waste of time going there when people just dont wanna work!!

  • Dimonica Carter

Came in the store at 520 pm looking to purchase an Christmas mailing item the clerk was rude saying we are closed and I asked nicely to get one item . Saying he's not going to open it up. The store does not close until 530 . Poor Customer Service bad attitude. There other clerk said nothing .

  • Robert Russell

My first experience was great getting my passport. But my last to trying to mail something was horrible. I guess difference in quality of the clerk . The Indian lady there was horrible and I seemed to get her the last two time . I won't be going back or shipping anything through usps again.

  • manabu takebe

Overall service of USPS is not usually good. But today Mr.Dwight helped us to find our package. It was important package for us because it is from father in Law and had some present. He checked thoroughly and found the package. Delightful experience. Thank you Dwight. You made our day!

  • Nawal Gurung

I waited in line to post a parcel, I had to go back and fill something out. When I finished, the line had got longer. Santana called me out to the front and didn’t let me wait all over again. She didn’t have to do that, it’s just a classy move. ❤️ …

  • amber link

Worst post office!Charged me to replace my key and only to come out they don't change condo keys, always waiting for someone to help out when picking up my mail. Only takes someone 30 minutes to come up to the desk after being called to help.

  • Jesinta 09

I don't have an appointment for my passport service but the lady told me that , you can wait if someone not showing i can get you in. She help me alots and she' really sweet. Thank you so much for take care of me today.God bless you.

  • Lorena

How is this place even stay open The employees are lazy and useless who loos miserable. How can you call yourself a post office and be out of stamps for the past two months? Pathetic and wasted an hour of my time.

  • Elijah Elmore

Imagine a Walmart with 20 registers but only one is open. And then they filed my mail incorrectly and sent me to the wrong post office across town. One star was Renee at office. Very helpful. And only help

  • Tom Z

Had a great experience applying passport for my little one. Bindu was professional and kind! She was able to process things quickly and thoroughly as well as accommodate both walk-in and appointments.

  • Yakup Ustaomer

I submitted a lost key application on Wed 5 pm and they changed the lock and called me around noon on Friday that my keys were ready!! That is in less than 48 hours! Just awesome! Great satisfaction!

  • Not That guy

I moved to an apt complex 4 months ago and they cant get my key or mail out of the box. I havnt got my mail in 4 months. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! The legacy of the post office dead!!!

  • T. W.

Trying to call to schedule an appointment to get my passport. Walk-ins for this are NOT ALLOWED. The phone line has been ringing for 5 minutes. What are we supposed to do!?

  • Patrick Fleming

I know people usually only review the post office after a bad experience but I just want to recognize this location for it's helpful and friendly staff. Thanks USPS

  • frank parker

mail man doesn't make his mail run every day except for sundays and holidays. this is an ongoing problem. we put in a complaint online, we'll see how that goes.

  • Karl Wright

Very horrible customer service. The guy at the front desk did not want to help me schedule my appointment for my passport, he just kept referring to the kiosk.

  • Jon Erickson

No problems here. The lines were long but employees were trying to help and were directing people in the line. Employees that I dealt with were great.

  • Riri Wright

I always get great service at this post office location. You have to time your visits to ensure you do not stand in line for long periods of time.

  • Beni Tasel

terrible terrible terrible. the worst post office branch ever! please i beg you all, doesn’t matter how far away it is, go to another branch!!!

  • Hunter

The staff is really great-- especially Patrick. Easily the best post office worker ever met. It is very busy all the time, so expect a line.

  • Mary Leon

The most slow usps location ever .Never enough employee to help all the customers. The Indian looking lady always super rude!!!

  • Stephanie Muniz

Be prepared to spend more than 30 minutes in line at any given time. But, Patrick was very friendly and helpful.

  • Mr LACE

Drop off box locked. Driver refused to take our packages today. Unacceptable when I have a business to run.

  • Aron Govil

My experience at this post office is very good. The clerks are very courteous and work hard. Good service.

  • Cheryl Collins

I know there is a passport office, but can’t find a phone number to make an appointment!

  • Aja Wylie

No one ever answers the phone at no time of the day, maybe they need an audit

  • James Montoya

Horrible service awful deyals no stamps worst USPS store ever been too

  • Monique Jefferson

The postal worker helped me get a great shipping deal for my package.

  • Joe Sabourin

Wait over one hour. Lunch time 1*30/2*30 ? Terrible
