I have been going to this post office for over 15 yrs. i love my mail carrier person who come to my office. I am located down the street from this post office. Everyone has always been nice in the past. I guess i have been very lucky to not encounter Ms. Mary Ann Gutierrez. I came in to ask for assistance regarding a package that has been delivered to my office last Friday when my office was closed. I gave her my tracking number and she was checking on the computer. She told me that her computer at this station was not working. She said she will look in the back. She could not find anything. I plead to her to see if she can help me track it down so i do not have to make another special trip to the post office. She went to a second computer and was able to track it down. She told me that it was delivered and left outside on the porch of the business building. I asked if this is normal, since i have never encountered this for the past 15 years. I asked if that is the protocol to leave a package in front of the building. She said no but, i does not mean they can not do it. I asked if i can get the name of the mail carrier so i can ask him or her. She said no. After ten more minutes of discussion she said she has to help other people and that i should deal with the company the package was ordered from. At no point did she even suggested to get a supervisor to help me at all. She finally got tired of me and told me that she can give me a phone number that maybe i can call to get help. I thanked her and left. I went out to my car and called the number she gave. It was not a working number. I tried several time but got the same message that it not a working number. I went back in and waited behind 4 other people in line. She saw me and was not happy. She finally acknowledged me when u was second in line. I went to see her again and told her that the number she gave me did not work. She looked at me and told me what number did i called. I told her the number and she told that she did not give me those numbers. I gave her the paper she wrote it on. She looked at it and she said that numbers did not exist. She said she must have given me the wrong numbers. She gave me the new numbers and i called it in front of her. The phone rang in the office next to her. I learned from this experience that if people don’t want to help others, please do not go into the service industry. You make your business look bad and also it gives a bad name to your colleagues. She may have just have had a bad day, but she does not have to make her customers feel like they are a burden to her. The post offices has already had a bad reputation in many people experiences. They are also loosing a lot of money every year due to bad business decisions. That is why they are asking Congress for more grant money this year. Please retire her because eventually you are going to get so many people angry that the post office will be obsolete like many businesses that can not get their house in order.

They do not answer their phones. I have called at various times of the day and the phone rings about 20 times then times out. After seven week ongoing issue mail delivery issue, a service record from the national service, and a scheduled time to meet a supervisor, no one answered the quick service door. The sign on this door states they are open at 7:30am. No one answered from 8:15am-8:30am. When they opened the front desk they said I would have to wait in line because they are not answering the door during COVID. There is not as much a handwritten sign on the door indicating a change of hours or protocol. Once I got to the counter, the worker checked, coming back to say a supervisor was “too busy” to come to the counter to help. I returned to my car to call the supervisor. The phone was not answered after four attempts to call. I tried blocking my caller ID and the same supervisor (only one working, she said) immediately answered the phone then hung up. I called again and that same supervisor on duty (Ms. Orvette) claimed her computer was down and she could not help. When I expressed concern about not being able to reach anyone on the phone, she shrugged it off saying to “just call back...I’m busy.”

RUDE, LAZY PIECE OF $HITS... Missed a certified letter delivery so I went online to request a re-delivery before the the expiration and they send it back, (you have 15 days per the instructions on the delivery notice). After a couple of days I didn't receive it so I called in and talked to "GREG" the "station manager", who wouldn't give a last name of employee #, and he said it was sent back already and his lazy a$$ couldn't help me... (SURPRISE a gov employee couldn't help someone). I asked for his supervisor and he said he didn't give out that info (SURPRISE #2). I guess I wouldn't give it out either if I was as worthless as he is. When I insisted he hung up on me (SURPRISE #3) a gov employee not doing their job. Currently I am pursuing a complaint with USPS and have opened a case with with them requesting to speak with the postmaster general (since "he doesn't give out his supervisors name"). I will keep going up the ladder until I get the answer that satisfies me...We'll see if I get his supervisors name... we'll see.

I have lived in this area and worked on the same street for more than 25 years and this post office has steadily gone down hill to the point I simply cannot go there any more. No one that works there stays long, they HATE their jobs (and it shows), they are rude, purposefully slow, and I have hand enough. We used to have the same mail carrier for years, but in the past 10 years there has been a rotating cast of carriers that seem almost as frustrated with their employer as I am... It is sad there is no accountability for this branch, but I will not set foot in there again. I will drive out of my way in the future to use a post office that seems to care about their customers, instead of being treated like an inconvenience because I am asking them to simply do their job. No wonder the USPS has been operating at a deficit for the past decade or more. What a joke!!

All the workers here legit suck ass, they will not help you at all. I had a package that wouldn’t deliver to my address therefore they kept it at their office & when I went to retrieve it they lied to me & said they couldn’t do anything for me. I went to another post office & they said “your package is located at that specific post office. You need to file a complaint on them bc they’re holding your package.” & it was their bc she showed me her computer screen. When I came back to EXPOSE their asses they still said “it is not here. We will call you when it is” now tell me, what kinda bs is that? Avoid coming here bc I guarantee you will leave pissed off.

I was sent a package via UPS to my P.O. Box. When I picked it up, I was charged $28.80 in postage. Come to find out that the shipping was paid at the UPS Store it was sent from. The shipper has their receipt and I sent copies of my receipt. The shipper contacted the post office and was told that I had never been there. Though I have receipts to prove I paid for the boxes and I have had a PO Box there for several years. I was lied to and told the package came in via USPS when it was actually delivered by UPS and I was charged for postage when the shipping had been paid.

Mary Ann is probably the rudest postal clerk I have encountered.. I actually get relieved when going in and I see someone else actually at the desk. I had a terrible encounter with her after many rude encounters but I felt this lady purposely tried to embarrass me in front of other people for making a mistake during a purchase. I’m very pregnant so going into this nasty post office isn’t something I enjoy anyways and was also having a bad day as it was. You should definitely think about others and not just yourself, Mary Ann.

  • Pepe Nava

This particular location for some odd reason DOES NOT SCAN PACKAGES. The lady I spoke with working there stated “we do not scan packages and it won’t be scanned until it reaches a sorting facility”. This is a contradiction as the other USPS locations I have used recently all scan when I either drop off or purchase a shipping label. If you wish to have up to date tracking please use another location, make sure to get a receipt after you drop off your package OR try using UPS, they also accept USPS packages.

I called before twice to ask about new passport processing and renewal as I needed both. The men that answered both times were knowledgable and answered my questions. (They do renewals here where Lancaster do not and only by appointment) There are only two people but they are working very hard and are very curteous. Thank you for making it easy for us as we have been getting the run around since the district clerks office in Fort Worth don't process passports anymore since June 2015.

I am shocked this post office has a 2 star rating . Every time I go here, and I am a regular , I get the worst customer service from Mary Ann and Charles. Contrast this with the post office downtown , you’re treated fairly and no long lines. Every time I’m at the 8th Avenue post office, I’m in line for 20-30 minutes. And don’t bother coming in the afternoon . They will only have one person at the counter and they make what should be simple errands just so hectic and complicated.

  • Samantha

Im not trying to be rude... but literally the stupidest people in the world. How are you going come at me and say that you couldn't get to my front door because of my gate when my gate code is in my description of my address, and the Amazon Carrier got into my apartment and delivered it to my front door. Are you kidding me. Did you even try or did you just pass it up and say "ehhh I'll get it tomorrow."??? I hope Amazon uses UPS next time and not USPS.

  • David Johnson

I'm getting really tired of having my packages held here. What use is an effective delivery date if it doesn't get delivered? No note left on my door. No notifications from mail man. Just a bunch of Idk and shoulder shrugs. I AM the one who has to get up and go to the damn post office and prove to them my digital tracking on my phone. Then wow!! Magically my package is there!! What a miracle... This place is a joke. I hate it more than the DMV....

  • Ken Tran

slow and poor customer service. I rarely go to the post office. when I got there to mail a media mail my envelop didn't have a tape and needed a label. after waiting for almost half an hour the lady told me I needed to tape it up myself and make my own label and come back or buy their piece of tape for $1 and still somehow had to figure out labeling for myself. I have never had this experience at any post office before.

  • John Stamps

The mailman I just had was hostile on the phone yelling and screaming in a personal call meanwhile he missed my mail giving it to my neighbor… same guy does this every time mixes up the mail and yells about how he’s not getting paid well…maybe do your job correctly and you’ll get a raise! I’m updating this again because again the mailman gave me my neighbors mail. This makes 50 times in one year.

  • joshaa flores

Anna Mary (I believe is her name) is awful...look we all have jobs we hate but some of us show it more than others. Hell, I work retail and we're all nicer than her! Refused service to someone who was in the door at the stroke of 5pm too ... overheard her convos with everyone in line "look i want to get out of here!" You should and never come back. You should not be in customer service Ann Mary.

  • Vickie Walker

I stood in line for over 15 minutes with people who were allowed to stand in line without face masks (even though it is posted that they are required), yet when I got to the front of the line to get a mail hold form, I was told by Mary Ann there wasn't a pen available for me to use. Not because of Covid, because people steal them. 2800 8th Avenue, Fort Worth, TX, location.

  • Crystal Waters

Jacqueline A is so rude. I came in with a 3556 form and had 8 letters to send, she charged me $1.75 for each letter. When you do 3 or more you can do them as a bundle and it saves you money. Thats why I do my COM’s. This way. Learn how to do your job correctly instead Of stealing’s from your customers. Now i am paying almost 14$ for something that should of been under $4

  • Amanda

Went in to mail a package and did not have enough tape for it. After standing in line the worker told me she could not tape the package for me. I've never been to a post office that would not tape up a package for me. She suggested I buy a roll. I needed 4in of tape for the package and she wouldn't do it. I left and will go to UPS where they can spare 4in of tape.

  • M.E. Hirsch

The review that states that this is in the Federal Building is incorrect. There is a Post Office in the Federal Building, but this is not that one. This one is located on 8th avenue, about three miles south of downtown Fort Worth. For the most part, it is a nice post office. The employees don't exactly seem really happy to see you but they are usually nice enough.

  • Ethan Boyd

If I could give less of a rating, I would. I swear USPS must have a competition for who can provide the worst service possible. Rude, disrespectful employees who have no regard for customer service and obviously hate their jobs. Rude directly to your face, and then throw your boxes around like they're garbage. Absolutely horrible. What a joke of a company.

  • Yolanda Rhodes

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! The staff and the supervisor are very RUDE! Seems like everyone at this location hates hates their job. The entire 8 minutes I was in there, the agent never looked at me just answered my questions very rudely no eye contact then the supervisor comes up and was no better. If it was a rating less than 1, I would assign

  • Anthony S (super hero)

I went to this branch to get some stamps. The lines was not to long and the cashier was friendly and did not take to long to serve me. They offer a whole host of services. I like they are near a bus stop where I can get in and get out and be on my way and not take to long. I don't drive but I did notice they had handicapping parking.

  • Dayshia Faulks

read the reviews and pretty much agree with the negative ones and I hate that because I wanted to give a good rating but the people there aren't doin their job in fact I bet I could do a better job I was supposed to receive a package and didn't, what made it worse they told me it will be here by 8pm its 10pm! very disappointed

  • JAM Manning

Went to mail an envelope and was refused service because I didn’t have a pen to write my address even though the man who was there had one. And there were two next to the register. I’m perfectly healthy. Didn’t cough. Nothing. And he said he couldn’t “risk” me using one of there “pens because of the contagion”.

  • Sergi Casares

No point in calling them, nothing but an operator saying their staff wouldn't know where your package really is, pretty much the truth, they never know a single thing when I go in. been waiting on a package for 2 weeks already, my other mail shows up but not this one. useless staff

  • Hemang Patel

Everytime when I have incoming express mail, it is not delivered. They put notice in my mail box that I can pick my express mail at the post office after two days.its been going on like this forever. What's the use for paying express mail charge when they don't deliver it at all.

  • Sandra Castillo

Stopped by to send a package post office had no customers I was the only one in there and the lady behind counter literally looked like she didn't want to be at work was so rude and a bit sarcastic no need for that!!! Don't wanna work don't come to work simple as that

  • Will Allen

Called to ask about a package and spoke to a rude and unfriendly woman. Told me she wasnt able to locate a package that had been at the facility for over 15 hours. Told me it was likely already on a truck. If that was the case wouldnt it have been scanned?

  • S

For some reason when I mail my letters or bills at this particular post office they seem to get lost in mail and never make it to destination .I don't know what's going on in this post office but it need to b investigated .To many bad reviews

  • A yuy

Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Went to pick up a package and went to the door that was designated for pickup only. Rang the doorbell 3 times over a 10 minute period to no avail, yet I could hear about 2-3 people

  • Kat Martinez

Avoid the one named Mary Ann if you actually want any help. She’s so rude and she rushes you to get to the point so she can write down the supervisor’s number and get you out of the place ASAP. I’m to the point if I go and she’s the only

  • Leslie Alanis

The employees are rude and dont seem to know how to read addresses and they skip houses when in delivery and dont take half of my mail at times and one of those times are today! I was suppose to recieve a package today but didint !

  • C Gallegos

Package was sent here on accident and hasn't been rescanned in over 2 days! Clearly missent mail just sits here in limbo instead of being shipped back to regional. THEY REFUSE TO SCAN PACKAGES AND CERTIFIED MAIL.

  • Teleios Contracting

The guy Joe that works here just made up a rule out of thin air that you have to have a return address. It’s necessary only under certain circumstances. Some people just want to be difficult for no reason.

  • Oleksii Badikov

Possibly the slowest and most disorganized post office I have been to. Most are slow but I think the workers here move slower so that people will leave instead of wait.
