First let me say that I only leave reviews if a business has gone above and beyond or has failed miserably! This is not my first time dealing with an incompetent Gov agency and currently have a Congressional complaint with Congressman Graves Office which I've been contacted about several times! I can tell you as a retired GS-12 for the DoD most Gov employees are underworked and overpaid, which most don't find that hard to believe, well this operation is no different! There's hasn't been a time that I've called over the past few years and the phone has intentionally been left off the hook. Just today I attempt to call several times over an hour and the phone rings until it finally disconnects. Irritated at the habitual disregard for providing expected customer service I make a trip to the this location. I ask the pee-on at the counter if they ever answer the phone. Believing something was funny, he chuckles and says sometimes, which would be a complete lie! He tells me to get a new set of keys for my mailbox I need to bring in a piece of mail showing the address. Yes, something that could've been provided over the phone had they answered the Damn phone!! I ask to speak to his supervisor and up comes a guy that looks like he's eaten one too many donuts! Of course I'm spewing expletive's at this point. I ask for his name and he replies Jack, I asked "Jack" what, he says Jack! I continue to let my opinion be known to "Jack," asking why the phone isn't being answered! His response, "We aren't secretaries" then he attempts to close the door in my face, which I force back open, he comes after me as I walk out the door! Beside him is an employee as wide as she is tall! Yes, more expletive's because these lazy clowns obviously don't get it, or perhaps they do like most Gov employees don't give a damn!! Just today I was informed that this location is currently being audited because of the Asshats they have working there! Take Tony (Anthony) for example, yeah, just another one of those that if he weren't collecting a paycheck from the U.S Gov, he'd be on welfare! Don't approach him though because no doubt one that continually plays the race card! Although a fill in this lazy b*stard has failed for years to pick mail as requested! You know Tony has delivered mail when you don't receive it till 9:00-10:00PM, if at all! Do yourself a favor and avoid this location at all cost and thank me later!

We have a shared mailbox (3 boxes on a single post) and the mail carrier will deliver to the other boxes and keep our mail. Our was wasn't delivered (without notice) for two weeks before we found out that it was apparently placed on hold by the carrier, but the carrier failed to let him boss know or fill out the proper forms because Jennifer didn't even know our mail was being held. Jennifer also told me that Dave said if I "Asked nicely, then Dave would have delivered our mail" which I DID, and he waved me off and kept driving so I went straight to the postal office. The manager wouldn't give his name and is VERY rude. He hung up on us several times not trying to find a solution and only defending his carrier. We had open cases that were closed without investigation, with us receiving an email asking if we were satisfied with the results. This same carrier had me CHASE him down the street barefoot after a package he NEVER attempted to deliver and the front door was wide open. We are told that supervisors try to cover for their staff but it's ok because we will go as far up the chain as we need to in order to have this resolved. We have requested to have the mailbox moved, with no response, until TODAY when I went to the office to ask WHY he held our mail this time (isn't that illegal) they claim we block the mailbox but we have cameras and photos to prove otherwise, we can't park in front of the neighbors house (mail carrier asks me constantly to "park a further up the BLOCK") Also, on top of the fact the carrier will deliver mail to the mailboxes CONNECTED to ours, he will deliver to the neighbors when they are parked in FRONT of the mailboxes. The mailbox is directly in the center of our property and we park on either side with PLENTY of space for him to deliver WITHOUT BACKING UP and we have photos and cameras on our house. We will be reporting to the BBB, the Attorney General, we will call the local news, and do whatever else we need to do. There is no reason why carriers shouldn't be punished for bad behavior and this mail carrier is clearly retaliating because he's mad. The fact that the staff at the office is no help is worse. Who manages these people? When the carriers aren't doing their jobs and the Supervisor is just as bad, and there is no accountability or repercussions, you get a wall full of bad reviews. Not at all surprised.

[Update 3] - This place has reached a new low. My mom sent three Valentine's day cards to my three sons. She packaged them in an envelope. We got the envelope, opened it, and to our surprise, the package included someone else's Valentine's Day card. We told my mom about it, and she asked if we got the money. That is when we realized someone at this post office had opened the envelope and had gone through the cards to steal $5 out of each. The person mistakenly put another person's card in the envelope, thinking it was part of the batch. It was a clear indication the envelope was tampered with and money stolen right before it was delivered either at this location or while with the carrier (though our regular carrier is a lovely person). I hope others think twice about sending money through the mail while going through this location. [Update 2] - After roughly six answered calls and an eagerness to help me solve the problem, this issue fell flat. I was told they would call me back after the sixth call, but I have not heard back and this was over a month ago. I was tired of continually calling to get updates. I am out $30 for a package they delivered to the wrong address. I am knocking them back to one star. [Update] - I contacted the local USPS store and the customer service rep was helpful. They are checking on my lost package. I want the USPS to succeed. I know many variables are in play right now with Covid-19. However, I received a notification that my packages were delivered to my front porch (and we were at home all day). Nothing ever showed up. I waited the next day to no avail. I called customer service to hear that they do not have any tracking information outside of the automated system messaging. It is a shame.

My sister and I ordered 7 t-shirts from Life is Good on 7/6. They were supposed to be delivered by 7/12. I didn't receive them but tracking said they were delivered to mail box. This was a super important package because it was the last thing we ordered together from our favorite store. She passed away on 7/16. The week 7/18, I went to the annex and told them about the missing package and why it was important to me. The delivery supervisor told me he could tell there was a problem because a different route driver scanned it at delivery than scanned the package in. He was going to talk to the carrier and call me back. Fast forward to a week later. No call from him so I went back in. Talked to the same guy although he told me i must have talked to "Chris". Told him again why this was so important to me. He told me he would pull the picture they take and talk to the route driver. Took my name and number and said he would call me back. Now another week later, guess what, NO Fing phone call. What really pisses me off besides the fact that I never got the package, is that strictly from a humanitarian perspective, knowing my sister passed away, you would think they would go out of there way to at least try to find the package and at l east call me back. Now I have to go back into the annex and I really want to go off on them. Thank god I will be going home to Colorado and will never have to use the hacks again. Makes me continue to believe govt should NOT RUN business and these Delivery Supervisors suck and need to be fired. Chris or whatever your name is, I will see you Wednesday afternoon. Hope you found a bit of your humanity because you really do SUCK.

April 11th went in to pick up my mail keys and they advised that they have to be ordered and would take up to 3 weeks. I asked "why so long" bc the tenants before us did not return their keys. I spoke to my complex about this and they said when people move out we never take their mail keys because our residents get brand new locks. When I was in there I advised to hold all of our mail there. They even made note of that on the papers I had to fill out. I asked them if they would notify me when we do get mail because I dont have time to drive back and forth everyday. She advised you can TRY calling. I said does try mean you are not going to pick up the phone bc your "too" busy. No lie...she shock her head. 04/26 go in there to check the status on my stuff. We have been without mail since 04/11. The first thing they asked is if I received a call that my keys are ready?? I said no, but I need to pick up my mail and I could never get through by calling. She goes in the back and comes back with a piece of paper stating...something along the lines of wrong mailing address. They had NONE of my mail. They didnt know where it was at. I looked at her and said "seriously." Furthermore my apt complex advised that it should never take 3 weeks to get our keys!! I am seriously at a lose. She advised she would call me today. I did get a random number that called while i was in a WORK MEETING...but they didnt leave a message. I tried calling back and it hung up on me after 2 minutes. I am now on hold with the 1800 number and its a 50 min wait. What can I do to get help with this??

If I could give 0 stars I would. I moved to an apartment had to wait 2 weeks before I got my mailbox key. Once I got it I didnt know that they had wrote on the envelope my mailbox number. I went back to the post office they told me they couldnt tell me which mailbox mine was. Im thinking you guys dont keep a log of the keys you give out? How does the mail carrier know which mailbox to put my mail in then. I ended up finding a different worker to talk to he was actually the person that made the keys and he was very nice. He actually told me that they are supposed to keep track of the keys in a log but just dont do it like they are supposed to. Eventually after diggin in my trash I found my mailbox info only to go to my mailbox and get the VACANT blue notice inside my box. The notice says that "mail will not be put in this mailbox until blue vacant notice is removed..." then is said put name on it and raise your red mail flag up so the carrier knows" UHMMM I live in an apartment we dont have red flags on our mailboxes. I removed the Vacant sign, still havent had any mail in over a month.....post office cant tell me where its at....they are a hot mess and I see why the post office was going to cut jobs and hours at one point!

Twice in the last year I've had mail held for over a ten day period. My written instructions were to hold the undelivered mail until I came in to pick it up. BOTH times they either crammed it all in my mailbox or left it bundled on the front porch. Doesn't seem too hard to me to follow the form they had me fill out. My obvious concern was mail theft. UPDATE: I figured the third time would be a charm but no....While they didn't deliver my held mail, they did resume delivery prior to my return. UNBELIEVABLE...Is it any wonder this organization (and I use that term very loosely) is losing money hand-over fist? If their health insurance coverage was this f'd up I guarantee you they would have it fixed and would make sure it was done right. ANOTHER UPDATE Tried another mail hold.... They delivered a package right in the middle of my hold and I had to make arrangements for someone to go get it off the front porch. Additionally, FOR SOME REASON, My neighbor was delivered a card that had all my hold information on it!? This is confidential information for Pete's sake. Take my advice.... If you're going out of town, don't trust your mail needs to this incompetent organization. ‍♂️ If I could give them zero stars, I would.

The ratings speak for themselves when dealing with these people. They wrote refused on my package without even delivering it to my home. Someone in the plant wrote refused and they sent it back to the shipper. I tracked my package and seen that it had refused on it and was up there the very next day. That day I went there 3 times to try to speak with Tracy. She explained to me she would email the distribution center and try to stop the package from being sent back to the shipper. Not only did she ever call me with a response back but I was given the run around the whole time. After 4 trips up there and oh 50 calls later, I spoke with a supervisor Jennifer who stated she would do what she could. Still no response from her either. WHY WOULD THEY WRITE REFUSED ON A PACKAGE WHEN IT WAS NEVER BROUGHT TO MY HOME. Even the carrier admitted she never seen the package which means they never even put it on the truck to come here. One excuse was there must had been something wrong with the tracking.. NO! The package made it all the way from China... Leave it to KC Post office to screw it up... Who gonna to reimburse me for my $300??

Totally OK with a "close enough" approach to mail delivery. Routinely receive other peoples mail, as do other people receive mine, luckily my checkbooks for 2 different bank accounts got dropped off by my neighbor that received them. $120 worth of networking hardware did not though, one of my neighbors got a present from Amazon, no strings attached. Shift supervisor says if the package/letter doesn't have the apt number (all my missing packages did) it gets delivered based on name. They don't seem to understand that I'm about as likely to be related to someone named "Myers" a building over as I am to someone named Smith a state over, but to them it is totally reasonable that I get someone else's mail based on this principle (also just completely incorrect mail) at least twice a month. In general I don't trust USPS with any package unless I have to, but the level of ineptitude by this branch is ridiculous, unfortunately it's not like you can pick another.

  • Kristin Kandt

I have mixed reviews here. If a package is held for me it is brought here - and this it is "my" post office for my location. They are pretty reliable at delivering and holding packages. The problem is that they are not a full service station, and you can only pick up or drop off packages that are already pre-labeled. Moreover, there is just a buzzer and one window that opens, and thus pretty much only one person helping, often when there are more staff in the back that are just chit-chatting. I have met two clerks that I really like, who recognize me, and are very pleasant to deal with - and if it weren't for them - I would give a lower ranking. Due to this one windown one person and buzzer, there are usually long lines, and you can literally stand there forever. I think they can do better. At times a few of the clerks come to the windows annoyed that you are there. Some are friendly - so it is hit and miss.....

We have lived in our house for 9 months. We have had at least 20 packages that have said delivered according to tracking # but they were not delivered to my house. I have filed claims but all have been denied. I have been to the post office numerous times to speak to a manager with always being told she is busy, she is on the phone or some other excuse and asked to leave a number so Shari could call me. Never have recieved a call from this woman. The last time I was there, I waited 45 minutes and during this time 2 people came in with the same issue, one other person wasn't given the correct mail from her PO Box, and another person came in to pick up a certified letter that couldn't be found!!! My husband has also exchanged emails and phone calls with the customer relations manager named, Sandy downtown and still no change!! Fed up!

  • Heather Hubert

Phone is always "busy" - aka off the hook so you can never call to speak to someone directly. Package delivery (or lack of delivery - packages just eternally lost) has gotten so bad I can no longer order anything online that delivers through USPS. Three examples of this in the last two months alone!! Vendor says "delivered" - yet not delivered to my house! In 15 years of dealing with this annex, I have lost track of the number of mail items and packages that I have never received, the number of times I have gone to the annex with no resolution or help given (usually waiting several minutes for someone to even acknowledge a customer there) - and there is nowhere to go with these issues. The number of complaints at this location is tenfold and nothing is done. I like many in this area, have no reliable mail service. And we are stuck.

  • Macabre Collector

This is the most incompetent bunch of people that have ever graced the post office. They will claim that there was no one home and that they left a notice of delivery when your setting in your living room watching them drive by. When you go to the mailbox no package or notice, then if you go to this post office to get your package they look at you like a deer getting hit by a semi and bald-faced lie for their carriers. If you push the subject because you want your mail they tell you well you should have been home it isn't our problem. They also mark packages in there app as delivered and they might get there a day or two later. They need to follow these post people and see where there smoking crack at, wait I take that back a crack head could do a better job than any of the clowns who work here.

  • Ally

I called this store over my “undeliverable” mail 30 times over a two day period while I was out of town. Nobody answered. When I got back into town, I headed straight to the office because I NEED that piece of mail. Nobody helped me for over 30 minutes despite me calling (hearing the phone ring), knocking and buzzing. At one point I heard someone say “just let it ring”. When someone finally did answer the door, I politely asked what I needed to do about the mail. She told me she would not look for it and to contact the IRS. Ya right, the IRS doesn’t care about my mail lol. I am never anything but nice to customer service employees. Those jobs are hard but not a single person was willing to even be kind to me and I’m leaving beyond frustrated.

  • Jess Richards

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We have moved into a new apartment and have gone almost 2 months without mail due to not having a mail key and not being able to "get in touch" with the right people at the Post Office. We finally were told to go to this location and they informed us it would be 2 weeks before they would have a key for us. When asked if the mailman could give our mail to our central office since it is probably piling, we were shut down and told we had two options, let it pile or hold it at the center. Mind you, the entire time the woman was on the phone and was barely listening to a word that was said. This is why I deal with shipping services rather than the USPS. Terrible customer service, terrible workers.

  • Samuel Smalling

I would give 0 stars if possible. They never answer their phone. Almost every time I have gone in, it feels like you are wasting their time. They were supposed to call after 2-3 weeks after they changed the locks for our PO box for our apartment. They never called after 5 weeks and acted offended when I asked if my keys were ready, specifically asking if I had been called yet. Low and behold, they envelope was sitting there with our keys. Whoever wrote my information down spelled my name wrong and wrote some wrong information (phone number was still correct). Afterward I went to go get my mail, and surprise, the locks still have not been changed. Still trying to call and can't get through or an answer to see if they can.

  • Alicia Taylor

Ive seen many negative comments, As an employee here, I am hurt, Many of us are new and learning still, we are human and not perfect. If only people knew what we go through on a daily basis. I give 100% everyday and do my very best to get everyone their mail/packages on time. Through ice and snow, severe heat, etc I DO MY BEST. i promise we are working to do and get better. I, as many other employees work over 60 hours a week to deliver your stuff. Please be more appreciative. Like I said, you have NO IDEA what we go through. I miss time with my kids and family that I will NEVER get back to serve you. I love helping others and will do everything in my power to give you a better experience.

  • Nove Loftis

Absolute worst. Was supposed to open at 8:30 been here for two hours it's now 10:30 and still aren't open. Multiple people have gone back through the warehouse area to try to get answers instead had employees with attitudes get mad at them. No explanation to the people waiting out front at all just absolutely ignoring them. Tried to call multiple times but the line just rings with a busy signal. There are lots of people in the back but no one willing to open up for people in the front. Said they would be lucky to open today because they are short staffed. Already took an Uber here so I have paid to be here and cannot leave until I sort things out. Rude and useless. Completely pathetic.

  • S Brack

I was expecting a delivery from Amazon, the tracking said that it was on its way to my house, I was home all day, then I get the tracking saying tried to deliver left note on door, not true. Tried to call post office numerous times no answer or answered the phone and hung up on me I will try to have things delivered UPS or FedEx from here on out. Also I watched our post man scan a bunch of packages then he tossed them over shoulder into the back of his truck, I was under the assumption that you don't scan them and tell you deliver him. Apparently he was not planning on delivering them. I have surveillance cameras so if the post office wants to see them ,more than happy to show them

  • Kelly Thomas

My mail is constantly being delivered to my neighbors mail box and another neighbors is in mine. This has been going on off and on for 3 years. After the 4th day of incorrect mail delivery, the carrier tried to hand my husband my neighbors package. He pointed to our house numbers, to the numbers painted on our mailbox and told her about the wrong deliveries. The carrier said, "'I'm not your usual carrier" and drove off. She didn't correct the error, didn't apologize, just left. Worthless!! I have called, as well as several of my neighbors after we all complained about horrible service, and nothing gets done.

  • Michael Kauzlarich

There’s a lot more to mail than people realize. And more volume of it than u could imagine. The post office can’t control how the carriers handle all the mail pieces. Usually if there’s an issue, it’s the fault of the carrier not the post office. Everyone is usually extremely busy here but they still attempt to help with issues to the best of their abilities. If people were more knowledgeable about everything that has to happen for you to get your few mail pieces out of the millions that are delivered everyday, they’d give them a break. Any business owner should agree, it’s hard to find good help.

  • Ted Zangerly

Horrible. Says they open at 8:30, it’s now 8:40 and the door is still locked. I’m only here to pick up packages that were “attempted delivery”, only problem is I was at home expecting the packages and literally watch the postman drive past, drop our mail, no packages. It says notice left, only no notice was left, and he never attempted delivery. By the way, these packages don’t even require signature. So now I’ve waited at home all day for these packages that don’t need signature and watched the postman not even attempt to deliver the packages. That’s the post office for ya.

  • Sabrina Smith

My package was marked as “out for delivery” yesterday morning. Now it says they couldn’t locate the delivery address even though I’ve had no issue with other packages being delivered at the same address. I called this morning they didn’t answer LIKE ALWAYS! The mail lady we have didn’t even show up yesterday so how could my package be out for delivery but she didn’t even drop off any mail over here. We get mail like 2-3 times a week. This is the worst USPS office I’ve ever dealt with. They said it’s out for delivery but I tried tracking it and it says “incorrect address”.

  • Debbie jay

This Post office is slow to resolve .. and It seems employees are dishonest.. my son ordered a package , they marked it as delivered on 11-12-21 , it wasn’t delivered.. I have a camera and only regular mail delivery was done at 10:38 am not the 4:07 pm time listed as package delivery.. Went to the post office and was told the driver probably scanned it as delivered because it was end of the shift .. but she said it should be delivered by 4pm 11-13-21.. still don’t have a package.. times are too hard to be out $$ because they are be careless and dishonest.

  • Ryian Rockers

Why is the phone always busy?! I was waiting on a package to be delivered that I ordered off Amazon. UPS said it was transferred to USPS. Amazon tells me that the item did not get delivered due to the mail carrier not having access to the building. The office was open. It's not a gated community. This has never happened when UPS delivers it. And when you try to contact someone to troubleshoot the issue the phone is ALWAYS busy. You guys need to seriously step up your game. Just because you work for the government doesn't mean you can perform so poorly.

  • Caitlin Burns

This post office has been stealing packages and mail from my apartment complex for years. They will not answer the phone and will not corporate with USPS claims that are filed (you will never get a call back or get a case resolved). Their employees sift through your mail, and they will steal anything that resembles a card with money, gift cards, drivers licenses, or HSA cards. I've had all of the above stolen after it was scanned through informed delivery. Not sure how this post office is still running, but the pony express would do a better job.

  • Philip Samudio

My mail delivery from post office on 8320 N Platte Purchase Dr, Kansas City, MO 64118 has for over a year delivered my mail to my neighbors. Obliviously this mail carrier cannot read. I have made numerous complaints to the post office manager Either he does not or want to correct this mail carrier. I had to contact the US Post Office HQ to find a remedy this problem. Bothe the manager and mail carrier from post Office 8320 N Platte Purchase Dr, Kansas City, MO 64118 should be fired for sheer incompetence.

  • Niuvis Alonso

Phones are ALWAYS busy. Picked up my key about 2 weeks ago waited about a month to go get them. Have been living in my apartment about 3 months now. Still haven't received any mail!!! Went to the post office on Saturday the only day I have a chance to go and they said they would give me a call that they have been forwarding our mail.! And I asked why and all they could say is that their system is messed up! It's been 3 days now still haven't recieved a call and still no mail! Horrible service!!!

  • Dennis Padilla

I have had two different deliveries that say “out for delivery,” and then won’t arrive until two days later. The postal worker, if the mailbox isn’t in absolute perfect conditions (car parked just before mailbox, it’s too cold out, the mailbox is a different color, or they just don’t feel like it) you don’t receive your package. Wish there was some sort of effort to JUST DO THEIR BASIC JOB. I have multiple family members who work for USPS and say this is absurd. Come on! Get your s*** together.

  • Sarah Jeter

We had several packages marked as delivered on the Friday before Christmas. The parcel box key that was left in our mailbox (we live in an apartment) did not work. When I went to return the parcel key to our mailbox as instructed by the post office, I found another parcel box key hanging out if the key slot for our parcel box, and our packages nowhere to be found. Thanks so much USPS for letting our Christmas presents be stolen because of your negligence. Merry Christmas.

  • kim gillihan

Phone has been busy for 6hrs. 82 attempts. Visited the location to speak with the manager 4 times. Each time it was claimed he was on a conference call. Wanted to speak with him about delivery issues. New checks from bank lost then mysteriously appeared after complaints. Passport found on the ground one street over thank god a Good Samaritan delivered. Entire cluster box left open swinging in the wind. Why can’t something be done with this location? Terrible service.

  • Puela Danielson

Yeah on 02/13/21. Its 02/16/21 today. i got a text from Amazon saying my package will arrive. I had literally been waiting all day for my package to come. At 2:49 pm i get a text saying the delivery was attempted. But i heard no knock on the door or anything. I went to the post office to see if they had anything for me and they said there was nothing. Now the app said they would deliver the next business day. Which was yesterday. And nothing...worst service ever.

  • Lukas Bernard

Ordered a package online from China and waited a month to get it. The day it was to be delivered, tracking said undeliverable to address. I went to this annex the next day to pick it up and they could not find my package. They took my info and said they would call. Next day I still had no call and went up to the annex to investigate. Turns out they shipped it back to China. Very unorganized, helped by 2 different people and neither knew what I had told the other.

  • Lacey Fine

I started a job here as a RCA and got asked to resign because I hit a mailbox on accident during my training, I understand this. WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND is how I'm still fighting to get my paycheck from the very first week I worked which was about a month ago. I've called repeatedly and spoke with everyone under the sun, just keep getting the run around. DO NOT WORK AT THIS LOCATION IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE. I've filed a complaint with the department of labor.

  • Sheena Sawyer

Wish I could post zero stars. 3 months later. 5 trips to the post office. Still no mail. Was told a worker probably gave my mail key to another customer. Very easy to believe due to the fact I've never been asked for my I.D and have been given another persons mail twice because no one asked me for my I.D. Yup! No I.D. check at a federal facility. Do not trust your mail or packages with this location. I've never seen such a circus in my life.

  • Caroline Ford

If you can avoid using this post office.. do. Really terrible service. I waited in long lines quite a few times only for them to say they couldn't help. I recently moved to KC and it took 4 weeks to get my mailbox key. One package was lost. They didn't submit my mail forwarding until a month after I requested it. There a few really kind people who work here but some of them are pretty rude. If you have to use this one, I'm sorry.

  • Tania Donovan

Can I give a -10 star? End CONTRACTS, FIRE people, MANAGE better!! This is a perfect example of a piss poor run GOVERNMENT facility. Over 10 days to get new mail key, long wait lines, one person working, had to wait on the ONE person finishing SMOKE break outside. Haven't received any mail in over a week and they won't answer the phone. Have tried well over 20 times throughout the day and it sounds "busy." So sick of this place!!

  • Michelle Pulliam

This is the second time they've marked something as delivered and it wasn’t delivered. My package finally got delivered today and the mail lady literally tossed my package from the middle of my drive way to my front door. Broke the thing I purchased inside! I even watched her toss my neighbors package the same way! Tried contacting USPS and all you get is a busy signal and customer service is all automated!! I’m so frustrated.

  • Amber C.

Filled formal compliant through USPS. Get phone call if 3 rings at 6:25 am with no VM from the annex location. I know their game is to do that so you have to call back and they never answer. I have missing mail and delayed mail by over 2 weeks. I wish something was done to help the ppl this office serves. From the lack of accountability to non existent customer service... Too many years now has it been unacceptable.

  • Brandon Mcclendon

Honestly fed up with this place they have now lost 3 of my packages.... 1 of them took 2 months for it to say out for delivery for 2 weeks straight but was never delivered and now all my mail is saying there was a problem mailing something to you..... yet when I call, their to busy f******* up someone else s**** to pick up the phone.... literally over this place it sucks that my mail has to go through this facility

  • Andrew McCracken

They shut the service window and ignore people who come in. A few of us have been standing in line for 30 minutes and nobody has come out to even let us know they are busy or anything, despite being right behind the door (we can hear them). It's 11am on a Monday. The workers are clearly just waiting in hopes people will leave (the 3 people in front of me have left). Not sure what's up with this place.

  • Kelsey Gast

No one ever answers the phone. No one corrects their mistakes. Could use someone with an education to read addresses. Very lazy. Very rude. Very unprofessional. I've been trying for a year for someone to correct the same issues. Called the main post office number to file complaint yet they don't care. Seriously they need to learn their job. Shouldn't even be getting a pay check since they can't work.

  • clancycats

Kinda mixed on this one. Was able to get a call to go through after letting it ring for around 3 or so minutes. Guy on the phone seemed to be annoyed that I have moved addresses several times in the last year or so, plainly exclaiming an “Oh my GOD!” over the phone. He did manage to find my package which he said he would hold onto so I can pick up later today. We will see how that goes.

  • Jay Reynolds

Waste your time and gas on Tuesday they will refuse to help you because the nice lady is gone and the worthless person is working the counter and will do her very least to help you. Wouldn't even look at the tracking number when the package is sitting there for pickup please if your package is being refused like like was tell the shipper not to us USPS anymore too many problems!

  • Amy Golden

So.. got a text that my package wasn't able to be delivered the day before. Called this office and the lady found my package after several hours. She called me back and we we've and picked it up.. They were closed at that time but she made sure I got it. Couldn't be delivered because label was unreadable by a scanner. Good thing everything isn't automated but a machine... YET.

  • IIwheels

I have filed a formal complaint with the Inspector General. The have operation hours posted and displayed as 8:30am - 5pm Mon-Fri. I had to drive to the employee parking to FIND someone to open the door and this was after 9am. The carrier for my area can never seem to deliver my packages to my address. This is ridiculous! I would give this location 0 stars if it were possible!

  • Brianna Sump

I have been calling this location for the last 5 days with no answer, for hours now. My mail has not been delivered in about a week now and nobody is willing to give me an answer as to why because nobody is willing to answer the phone. There is no possible way that they have just been slammed non-stop from open to close. They are choosing not to answer their phones.

  • Gage Hayes

I missed the delivery of my wedding ring, which I was anxious to receive and make sure it fit. I called them right at 5pm and a gentleman told me if I could be there quickly he'd wait for me. I really appreciate stuff like that, so 5 stars from me. I've been living in the Northland for years and have came here numerous times. So far, so good despite the reviews.

  • Andre Quarles

If I could give them 0 starts I would I never. I mean never receive small packages. but when I track the package it always shows as delivered. I don't understand they get paid to deliver mail and they can't get that right. then we have to go through all kinds of BS to find out where our stuff might be. why is it so hard to do your job. I just don't understand

  • William Doores

I must have a stupid carrier. For some reason I can't get a small package delivered to my apartment. He leaves no notice and there is even a large receptacle for packages. The carrier is either too lazy or perhaps an affirmative action employee who is too stupid to place mail in a mail box. I would contact a supervisor if only they would answer their phone.

  • John Price

If I could go zero stars and leave this review I would. The individual I just spoke with was rude, unprofessional, and no real help in getting our issue solved with the problem with the keys provided by our apartment complex. We should NOT have to be denied access to our mail and be told we have to wait 2 weeks for a situation that is NOT of our doing.

  • Ayman Nimer

This post office should be shut down. It has terrible service and mistakes are made ALL THE TIME. Nobody seems to know what theyre doing. And they never ever answer the phone. This is the 21st century and we have jobs we have to work around. Not everyone can just go up there before you close at 5pm hence the 20th century invention of the telephone.

  • Cynthia S Pratt

Package said out for delivery 2/27 and would be delivered by 3:45. Waited until after 6 pm and then it said it would be delivered by 8 pm. At 7:50 it said it was available to be picked up at post office at 1:07 pm on 2/27. Something isn't right here. I had one package in my mailbox ....so I'm thinking driver didn't want to get out of truck.

  • Michael Scott

They never answer their phone...they constantly drop my mail off in the wrong box at my apartment. Sometimes when they get it right, they forget to put the parcel box key in my mailbox. However...when i do talk to them, they are very nice and very accommodating. But it makes me feel uncomfortable when im getting $50-$150 worth of stuff.

  • kim murray

Wow. And they wonder y UPS is taking thier business. Lazy lousy enept Also as I sit here on my porch the mailman rolls up puts my mail in box and no package he said he left a notice and attempted to deliver. He did niether he took time to post that he did. Why not just put the package in the mail box Damn thiefs probly stole my package

  • Linda

I have complained many times about getting my packages and they still deliver across the street to wrong address. Numbers are large and easy to read on our home.whats the deal, no wonder ups and FedEx are doing a better job! Pay attention ! I had an import check come in the mail and it had been opened and taped shut by someone.

  • Cory McMullen

This branch is garbage. Nothing ever gets delivered. Might as well set my delivery address to their office since I always have to pick my packages up there because the drivers are too lazy to do anything resembling honest work. Not that this review will change their ethics. They'll continue to be garbage. Pathetic.

  • Phillip Wood

Everytime I have a different mail delivery from someone that isn’t our normal mail person they mix up everyone’s mail and packages in our neighborhood mail boxes. Seems to be happening a few times a month. To make it worse everyone’s names are on their individual boxes. So it’s clearly lack of paying attention.

  • Amanda Buttig

Worst mailmen I've ever had. We have a community mailbox with 5x5 in doors on our cubbies. Our mailman consistently shoves packages into this, folding things that say do not fold and more. It's infuriating to come to our mailbox and find packages wadded up and crammed into this. I've never been happier to move!

  • Tekia Turner

I honestly I hate that I can’t give them a negative star. Worst Postal Service ever!!! Line is always busy, clerks are rude. They lost my package and have no clue what they did with it. Online the tracking says delivered but in their system it says the carrier left a note!! Neither of the two are correct.

  • Jean Fischer

Horrible several times I stopped my mailman because I am getting other addresses mail and packages. I myself have just in the past 2 days packages they claimed they tried to deliver but never came to my home and the said a reschedule notice was left I never got and I was home on both of the delivery days.

  • Shawn Groves

You are lucky you even get a 1 star. I ordered a Lego base plate for my son, when I opened the mail box it was folded in half and stuffed inside, the base plate is broken in half, all because the woman that delivers our mail is too lazy to walk up the stairs to our door. This is completely unacceptable

  • Aaliyah Owens

WORST POST OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY PACKAGES ALWAYS GET STOLEN! AND NO ONE AT THE POST WILL ACTUALLY HELP YOU. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET A PACKAGE FROM THEM FOR WEEKS AND IT DON'T MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU GO UP THERE OR CALL THEM WHICH THEY NEVER PICK UP. LITERALLY I DO NOT LIKE THE POST OFFICE.

  • Jonathan Romanes

Whoever is the Priority Mail Express delivery person to the NW 63rd street area needs to be FIRED. I've counted 4 times in which that person has messed up a delivery. The address is clear as day written on the package and very specific and no other mail carrier messes up the package delivery.

  • Laurie Gray

Sue you are the best!! Went above and beyond for me today in the nasty weather. They were closed and I really needed the package that she found to fix my pellet stove!! She let me pick it up after hours!! Because of Sue we have heat tonight!! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!!

  • Angie Willemsen

If i could give 0 stars I would, I just recently moved and had ordered a package to be delivered to my old house. I tracked it and said it was undeliverable, however they said it was forwarded. I've tried to call and no one EVER picks up. its frustrating and I need my package.

  • Jim Si

Regularly loose mail, even priority mail from carrier leaving at wrong residence. Lately I was assured that the carrier would find 2 items he lost and would promptly deliver them to me in zip 64151. Dream on! Never happened. Lousy service and lost mail through carelessness.

  • John Geiger

Note that this not a retail location. It is for picking up held mail. You can mail at the outside mail boxes but cannot buy stamps or packaging materials, etc. The staff was very helpful to me in obtaining the package being held for me. Easy location to get to.

  • Chris

Absolutely garbage.. I dont think there has EVER been a time where they have delivered my package correctly or on time. Unfortunately this is a government entity and they won't do anything about it. Fire everyone there no one seems to take pride in their work

  • john hull

We've been trying to get our packages from our community lock box for a week now. With no sense of urgency from this post office or mail person. My gosh if you have a small business in this part of town I'd suggest they deliver it to you or staff personally.

  • Kristin Jean

Said package was delivered and it wasn’t. I actually was there when the main man pulled up went down to mailboxes to ask the mail man if I got a package and she said no. 5 min after she left it was scanned as delivered. Still haven’t received. …

  • Adam Hudson

Everytime I go to this place all the costumers there have some issue with receiving their mail including me.This place should be shut down. Please shut it down so we can deal with a post office that will do the job and deliver the mail correctly.

  • Alicia Cote

It is beyond slow, it is sooo hot and then the only reason why I had to come here was to collect a certified mail that the mail man neglected to even knock on my door. Just left the notice and left didn't even try. I hope never to come here again

  • Pat Ridpath

had a redelivery coming today due to unforseen problems it will come tomorrow, sometimes we have to roll with the tideand wait. will see if it comes tomorrow. Gentleman I talked with was extremely polite and explained things to my satisfaction

  • Alfonso Rodriguez

Second time my mail is delivered at the wrong mail box today was done by carrier C19. Today's package is lost because of that carrier should read his job description again and again. Thank you for not delivering my package you need to focus.

  • Robert Crossley

I wish I could only give this a 1/2 star, after standing for 45minutes waiting for someone to answer the door. When branch manager finally answered the door, she stated she didn’t know that we were there. Really, there were 5 of us and we

  • Bradley Gallow

The representative who helped me at this location was very kind and helpful, I only have good things to say about this location! Mail is complicated and stuff happens; people commenting so negatively need to breathe, it's going to be okay!

  • michael ricketts

My mail is delivered out of this post office. Today is Saturday and I’ve had no mail service today and they didn’t bother to show on Thursday or Friday. I’ve had outgoing mail in my mailbox since 7 AM Thursday and it’s still sitting there

  • Cody Beemer

Delivered my package to the wrong business, filed a claim, no response, went in to location multiple times manager was never there, was told multiple times I would be contacted next day, never have been. Worthless government employees...

  • Theo Dean

Poor customer service. Say they'll find your package and will never look for it. The manager, Danny, isn't any better. He even refused to get my package even when tracking clearly showed it was there. Then threatened to start cursing

  • eric hernandez

They stopped delivering my mail because they said that my mail box was always blocked. When that is not the case. Didn't have any issues with the old mail lady. Now that i got a new mail man he is refusing to deliver my mail.

  • Norma Sollman

Put a Clay County assessment form back in the mail for someone who lives the next street over with a sticky note on it , got it back in the mail today. These people will be charged $75 if their form isn't completed by Mar 1.

  • Cat Meng

Got a text stating it was delivered to parcel locker but there was no key to the locker. Phone is very hard to get through and mailman said he will put key in the locker again but never did. I still don’t have my package.

  • Paget Lund

This post office is TERRIBLE. The carrier does not pick up or drop off mail at our business location when they are subbing. They are complete idiots. Can never call the Platte Purchase location because they NEVER answer.

  • Patrick T

Snow delay Saturday 1/15/22. Snows gone, we've gotten mail the last 6 days yet the mail that was on the truck, still has no eta. It's currently 1/22/22 11pm. No word. Automated system during business hours is no helo.

  • Mattergang

Package is 2 weeks late, no help from usps over the phone then when you call the office directly they just put you on hold and never come back! If I could I would never use usps again. No wonder Amazon is winning.

  • Barry Crilley

I called about a package that said it was delivered per tracking and was not in the parcel box as stated. Called the office, told them the problem and found the box on my door step at home a few hours later.

  • Tanya Norris

going on 4 weeks without my mail box key, they dont answer the phone. and it seam if you leave a message while there in person they dont call you. This Post Office is horrible! I NEED MY MAIL PEOPLE!

  • Robert Jackson

Sign on the door says open until 12:30 on Saturdays, but the doors were locked before noon. Got lucky that someone had been waiting inside since then and let me (and 4 other people behind me) in.

  • Alyssa Kendell

Missing mail, stolen packages (by the delivery drivers!!!!), workers who have NO IDEA what is going on. Try to go in person to file a claim and get ignored. Worst place ever. Truly sucks.

  • Caitlen Giesing

This WORST USPS office in HISTORY! They will not deliver packages or mail to us. They wont answer the phone and just very rude when going to the location. I wish you could leave NO STARS

  • Marekica Wheeler

Very rude I have been in my home since April and have not recieved my mailbox key nor mail. Went up there and the manager Jamal was rude and put his hands on me. Number always busy.

  • Amanda Cherry

Post Office was amazing at helping with getting a package delivered that had been held up. Fast, friendly and amazing service! Worked with a lady named Sandy who was amazing!

  • Anita B

Interacted with the rudest human I may have ever come across when trying to get my mail at this location. Is this where they send people they can’t fire?

  • Kendall Baker

I've called twice now and been put on hold for 6 minutes both times. Pretty annoying when you have something important you're trying to take care of

  • Gentle John

It appears that they commonly take their phone off the hook. Try to call them! Their phone is always busy. I have not received my mail in 4 days.

  • Amanda Henderson

I agree with some of the other reviews. I put my mail on hold for 1 week and this location (the one responsible for 64151) can't find any of it.

  • Hailey L

Do not offer packing tape at all, I have prepaid label and still have to go somewhere else. Did not even know this was a thing. Rediculous

  • Aubrey Anderson

This is not your standard USPS location. I only use the drive-by drop off box to mail letters and small packages when I am in a hurry.

  • Matt Alexander

Phone just rings. Whole NW Waukomis Dr hasn't received mail all week. Hope you guys like paying late fees for bills you worth POS!
