I moved to this side of town a few months ago, and luckily I've mostly had to deal with the mailman, which he is great, when it comes to my mail, which I get a lot since I do most of my shopping online. But on the few occasions that I have had to call or deal with the post office, it has been a very frustrating experience. They never, or rarely answer the phone. I waited for over a minute and a half for someone to pick up the phone on multiple occasions, which was never answered. And the few times they do answer they are very rude. What has annoyed me the most is that I have been waiting on a package from over seas, I've been following the tracking number and a day ago it said, in this order, depart USPS sort facility, arrival at unit, sorting complete, out for delivery. Very confusing order. Now I see arrival at unit and out for delivery so ofcourse I think the package had arrived. Unfortunately I work late so I got out of work after hours. Now I write that because when I checked the mail that night I hadn't received my package or a notice, but when I checked on my phone for the tracking number it had recently updated itself stating that my package was available for pickup at the post office. No big deal. I went to the post office the morning after because, again, when I called nobody answered, I called multiple times, again. I went up to the woman at the pickup line and asked her what was needed, she told me I needed a notice, I told her I didn't have a notice, but had the tracking number and information. Then she just flipped out on me as if I did something wrong, I told her that I was going by what the tracking was telling me and that was that my item was available for pickup, and she just went on on how I was wrong and that the dispatcher was going to deliver it. I even showed her all the information on my phone which I guess upset her more. I don't work there so I don't know what they go by, but if the information provided to me states something, I don't need one of the workers there flipping out on me because of it. Well, point is I wasted my time going there since nobody answers the phone, and was flipped out on for no reason, and I just recently looked at the tracking number, and it updated itself stating that a notice was left and that I will have to go back to the post office tomorrow to pick up the item. Hopefully this time goes a lot smoother.

Kept ignoring our requests, lost our package, now they keep damaging them! When I first moved here, everything was fine, we'd get our mail, the boxes would go to the office and we'd pick them up no problem. After a while our office stopped telling us when we had packages and we'd get them super late or they'd get sent back to the post office so, we had asked the mailman and then made a request to the post office to send our packages to the door as someone would always be home, and there would be no reason as to why it couldn't be signed for or directly given to one of the people in the household. We told our office NOT TO ACCEPT our packages and have them sent to our door. They put our name and apartment number down and it still...happened. We went through this for a while until one of our boxes got lost between post offices, someone had gotten confused, our mailman got mad and we haven't seen him again. They started to come to our door, finally! Now we have a new set of mail people who come in the morning or noon, and then again in the evening. Our boxes have started going to the office again. If they don't go there, then I find myself filled with an overwhelming amount of rage and confusion as to why our new mail people have STUFFING our mail into mailboxes too small for them to even fit!! Two of my packages, a couple of my mother's, my other family members, find our packages are now damaged because of this! I watch the same mail people, walk up to other people's doors and leave their packages at their door or hand it to them. What the heck is going on?! Retrain your staff or fire the ones who seem to have lost their common sense with the rest of the Christmas mail!

What a disappointing experience coming to this post office! I had to pick up a package here and given that this was my first time at this location I asked where I could pick it up. The lady at the desk, Rebecca, didn't even look at me and said to make a line where I was at. My husband was with me and we stood in front of the door where the sign to pick up packages is located... that is where we were when I had asked her where to go. We were standing there for a good 8-10 minutes when my husband decided to knock on the door. Rebecca said that no-one was going to answer that door... we had to get in line. This time she referred us to the general line. This young lady, with zero personality, saw us standing there the whole time and never redirected us to the proper place. We got in line with about 6 people ahead of us and when it was our turn, we were told to make another line behind a gentleman next to her. I asked the lady at the desk why I was not advised by Rebecca to go in the proper line and Rebecca chimed in with an excuse she directed at the gentleman she was attending to and never looked at me to give me her supposed reason for not helping us out. She then goes on to say how she really didn't care. Bottom line, that's how we felt. She didn't care to tell us to wait where we were supposed to, she didn't care that she wasted our time, and she didn't care to offer customer service. Her care was to be rude and impolite. That's all. Her sole job is to perform customer service and she failed at that. She'd be better suited cleaning animal waste at the zoo... perhaps she has more compassion for animals ... She clearly doesn't have any for humans. Smh!

Incredibly frustrated! I received a "Sorry We Missed You!" letter on my door yesterday so I left work a little early to go pick up my letter at the station in Thousand Oaks. Let me be clear the notice I received yesterday clearly states that the USPS office in Thousand Oaks located at 15610 Henderson Pass is open from 8:30am - 6:00pm Monday through Friday. With that in mind, I left work early so I could make it to the Post Office before 6pm. The traffic gods must have been with me because I showed up at 5:45pm walked up to the door and found that it was locked...sign on the door said they close at 5:30pm. A woman working inside came to the door to tell me they were closed, I showed her my notice stating 6pm...she kindly showed me the sign by the door and said, "We're closed". Frustrated I angrily drove home and am very tempted to burn the "Sorry We Missed You Notice", but I might need that tomorrow when I go to pick up my letter. The hours on the notice state they are open from 8:30 - 1:00pm on Saturday, I may just call them to find out if thats true. Get your stuff together please.

What a joy it is to know that I cannot rely on these overly lazy and dim witted employees to even manage to being a package to my home. Not that any post office employee has ever been acceptional at their job...because let’s face it...it’s a awful job...but the people that work at this particular location are the top of the top of the WORST mail carriers and customer service reps EVER! They sound like they would rather be dead when they answer the phone and as far as common curtesy...forget it! If it’s too much effort for them to seem moderately polite over the phone YOU KNOW you’re not getting any kind of professional treatment from them. I have never lived somewhere, were there has been such an issue with putting mail in a mailbox...it’s amazing. Not sure how useful all theses negative reviews are about this particular post office...we are stuck with them..because of where so many of us live...and a review of any kind about them is kind of pointless...if anything it might make customers feel that they are not the only ones who got screwed over.

This location first allowed the prior residents of the house to hold ALL mail for a month, which resulted in missing several key pieces of mail. Currently, package delivery is almost nonexistent. Either packages are delivered to the wrong address, huge packages are stuffed in the tiny box while the larger package box is left open (the delivery person once stuffed a package containing an adult XXL sweatshirt in the tiny 3"x5" mail box), or the packages are loaded on the wrong truck and take 3-4 days to actually arrive after being sent out for delivery. I am normally not a person who complains, but in the 6 months I have lived at a house serviced by this location, I have complained three times. The USPS holds itself as a top tier organization, but in reality is operating like a fly-by-night carrier. Obviously nobody is keeping something as simple as a record of how many complaints are submitted for each location, because if I have complained three times, I guarantee this location has millions of complaints against it.

Literally the worst customer service I've ever had. Older lady with glasses and dark hair (he wouldn't give me her name) made it seem like the package I've been waiting for, for 3 weeks now, was my fault. She told me the package shows that it should be there, but said it wasn't. When I asked if there was any way of getting in touch with the person who attempted the delivery, she said it doesn't work that way, they don't have direct contact with any of the delivery drivers, and if my mailbox or delivery address was moreaccessible, i wouldnt be having this issue. I went back today just to be turned away from the same lady. Without looking up at me from her phone, she said with attitude, "were closed, come back another day." I know it doesn't sound bad, but her tone and the fact that I know she doesn't really care about the job or the people coming in said it all. Hours on the door and google show to be 8:30-6. ITS CURRENTLY 5:41.

The office staff are generally helpful, but usps itself is a joke. They don’t have enough staff, and i don’t blame them. who would want to work here? My main issue is with package deliveries. I’ve had several occasions where the tracking says delivered, but item is nowhere to be found. I called the 1-800 number to open a service request and the customer service rep said the delivery person most likely scanned the item as delivered but has not actually sent it out for delivery. I’m guessing just to make their numbers or quotas look better. I understand that holidays are busy, but i would rather the tracking show a delayed delivery than lie about delivery status. additionally it is very difficult to get ahold of a real person whether at the direct post office or the 1-800 number because they are truly trying to deter people from reaching out because too many people have problems with usps than they can actually deal with.

My boss and I went into this location because he needed to get a passport. There was only a few people in front of us. We get up to counter and he tells the worker he needs a passport flrst thing she said was not today. She said they don't do them after 3 and it was 3:13 she was rude, unprofessional. She explained to him again it's not happening today. When we walked out I was so upset that I went back in to make sure I wrote her name down she was leaving for the day so she just didn't want to bother with him. I ask another lady to verify that was her name that I remember so I could write a review her name was Vanessa . The lady informed me I had the right name and ask what was wrong, after I explained to her the whole situation she told me to tell my boss to come back in. The process was no more then 10 min. The lady who ended up helping us was Marlene Smith. Thank you for handling the situation in a professional manner.

In person, lovely staff. Delivery and phone service, however.... WOOF. I've had a package lost after a failed delivery due to "animal" (we have none, neither do our neighbors), then the package reported as stolen from within the post office. Now I have a mystery package reported as "final notice" while never having a first or second attempt. I can't reschedule delivery as it "requires payment of $7.02" but no indication of WHY (postage due, customs, ???) No info on who the item was sent by. I called the USPS, no option to speak with a human, no new information. Called this office specifically two hours into the work day and the phone rang for five minutes without reaching a human. So... I'll have to take off work to get to the office while it's open so I can pay for a package that I'm not expecting (unless it's the one that was stolen). Having had such good experiences in the past, I'm wondering what has changed.

The Management and the Carriers are the WORST in San Antonio. I have video of the delivery lady throwing my proceline water spigut at least about 10 feet onto my concrete porch. I reported her then and again when she stopped delivering my packages into my ( lock secured ) mailbox within a bank of mailboxes, in other words there is no reason for this other than retribution for turning in the video to her supervisor. This practice of withholding my mail happened again today and when you look online at the tracking ( it says Business Not Open ), well I am not a business, this is not a business center, and neither has ever been the case. I have to go in to morrow and complain again as the management are not any more effective than the carriers beneath him. Avoid this place. At all expense, these people are not on the level. Period.

  • John W

I have as little as possible to do with the personnel at this location. I don't go here - I prefer the main office on Perrin Beitel simply because Henderson pass mail goes through Perrin Beitel anyway. My chief complaint has to do with PACKAGE DELIVERY. I feel for the carriers, but it is no excuse when something is ordered, a delivery date and relative time is given for delivery, and then NOTHING. Surprise! Your package has been delivered and signed for. WRONG! No one came to deliver package. I agree with another reviewer that this theft with only stop once a true governmental reform is initiated with full accountability. Right. Like that will happen. By the way, I'm generous with the two stars. The reader my interpret what they wish. Buyer Beware...and ship UPS, FedEx or other.

  • DEAN Cherer

phone stays busy. That type of phone handling system went out in the 90's. If the post office willingly stays with an outdated mode of communication, they are being negligent. What if we all just decided to go back to the 29 cent stamp? That's what we get when one monopolistic agency has control that is unchecked. Like the school system, service goes down and prices go up. Look at the CPI adjusted cost of a stamp over time. Solution: privatize routes. standardized distribution hubs would allow competitive services to enter the market - like FedEx does today. You won't change this beast any other way. Watch as service gets worse. My own mail service in San Marcos is highly erratic. sometimes mail comes after 7pm - sometimes saturday mail comes on Sunday. speak up.

As of today I wish I didn’t have to return to this location. My family and myself have been very loyal and always understanding when it comes to a busy time of year. However, I waited longer than 40 minutes in line to have two employees inform me that they were not able to help me gather my mail that I was just needing to pick up. Rather they relate that I needed to step over to another line which had been held back for quite longer than my arrival. I was very skeptical at that moment due to having a customer bring back her mail upon receiving the wrong mail. Customer service really needs a major improvement. Guests should be helped with any situation that is requested especially when waiting in line for a period of time.

Terrible postal experience. My bank account was frozen because my bank statement was delivered to the wrong address several times and returned. My package over Christmas was sent priority 2 day. When we tracked the package it said it was "unsecure location" delivery attempt on the 19th of December at 5:30 pm. I was outside on this day with guest from 4pm to 8 pm. Mail was delivered, but the package was not. When I called several times and went to the post office to pick up the package, it could not be found. Still no sign of this gift! Several of my neighbors had packages that say delivered but were no where to be found. If you have this issue, call and file a report with the postal inspector!

9:13 am, 7 people waiting, 1 at counter workingbehind the counter. I have sent 4 registered letters out in the last three years and only one came back and it wasenterd in to the system incorrectly and came back to anothet post office on the other side of town. This year i had two of my checks go back to tbe my customer, both marked undeliverable. Sad because they whier mailed a monyh apart but showed back up to my custmers office. I asked the person at the desk why they were sent back and she said tbat so.e empoyees are to laxy to cary the envelopes over to the p.o. box. This is by far the worst postal service location i have ever seen.

We purchased a home in October 2020 and requested mail keys the first week of October. It is now February 4, 2021 and still NO KEYS. We haven’t had access to our mailbox for FOUR months. We have been standing in long lines every week to pick up our mail. Every time we’d go check on the status of our keys we were told there was a “key shortage” which is why it was taking so long. I requested to fill out a new order form on January 7. Today when I went to check there were still no keys and now the man tells me all of the key orders for October were lost. Interesting, I guess we were lied to for three months? How is any of this ok?

My experience was quiet a pleasant one. I was told that I could get my passport application done at this location, since there was a mix up, when I had scheduled online by the staff who does the processing (Ryan). The day I got there, he was off and the staff processing applications that day (his name was Arnold), decided to help me. He was very pleasant, helpful, professional and went above to make sure the processing went smoothly. I really appreciate both Ryan & Arnold, as it was imperative that I got my application done asap, as I plan to travel soon and needed to get it in. Thank you for helping me out!

  • Christina Elkins

I can honestly say I have never been more dissatisfied with a company than this one. They do not answer their phone. If they do it takes more than a minute to answer. The other times the line rings as busy or disconnected. They said they delivered my package and they did not. I have called more than 20 times and only have been "helped" once. I was told I was going to receive a phone call back and never did. My package was very important due to the fact it was for a service dog but the seem to lack the urgency and attitude to help. I will never use USPS again due to this location and experience.

  • Gem Neye

Called usps customer service for a general delivery location near me. I was told henederson pass. I had my mail sent here only to go there and be told they don't do general delivery and my mail would be sent back. I was gonna talk to a supervisor but she found it. So this time I go in because I told her one more letter may come and a different lady is at the front. She tells me the same deal about how they don't do it and how it didn't come in although I know it will and they are refusing to hold it for me which is dumb. Like if it comes in and you see it why not hold it and I'm picking it up?

  • Bryce Weathersby

Horrible Service. Have been lied to by employees and supervisors. Have attempted to call numerous times and phones ring or get disconnected. Have been told the man in charge of that Post Office is to busy with meetings to talk to customers. Have been told Informed Delivery is not accurate and do not believe it,. Have had Informed Delivery say there were 8-10 pieces of mail, told I had none. Raised a stink and 3 were brought out to me and one of them was for some other address. That has happened twice. They also refuse to fix our vandalized mailboxes! I would give negative stars if possible.

  • Vee AutoRepair

If you're expecting a package to arrive by a certain date, don't expect it to be on time with our mail personal. I was expecting a package and according to the tracking number it said "out for delivery" meaning it was on the truck already. Well, I had received a piece of mail but no package I was expecting. The mail person was too lazy to get out of his seat, go to the back of the truck and get my package. So I called the post office and they said unkindly "there are many people on the route today you should get your delivery." Well, I never did. So frustrating. They aren't helpful at all.

  • Alexander Wild

If you give anything higher than 2 stars...its because you work there. There is always a long line and two operators at best. Today the manager asked you finally came out and did something about it when she heard all the murmuring and all the people complaining and to my luck I had the pleasure or should I say displeasure with having her deal with my issue. The only thing that I could get resolved is having my mail placed on hold, which means I have to continuously go back to this place to pick up my mail for at least the next two to three weeks! Oh joy oh joy!

  • Kathleen B.

My tracking number stated that my package had been delivered At/in my mailbox. That was two days ago and I still have no package. I contacted my management office on the day the package was supposed to have been delivered and they hadn't received it either. We checked with the neighbors who hadn't received it by mistake. I called the USPS 1 800 number and was told they would relay a message to this post office and that I would be receiving a call. Well, I never received a call and when I try calling directly, no one answers the phone! Disgraceful!!!!

  • Lauryn Brophy

Honestly just disappointed because the mailman tried delivering my package one time and then just put a return stamp on it and dumped it in a postal bin. After contacting the post office, I learned whoever it was marked me as “not found, moved, left no forwarding address.” After checking repeatedly, my address and information was correct. Whoever it was just tried putting my package into the wrong box, couldn’t fit it, and dumped it off to be sent back. The business I ordered from can’t even return my package so now it’s just gone. :)

  • Peggy Sue Wilson

After complaining about not receiving some of our mail, and getting other people's mail, our postman decided to maliciously start returning all our credit card statements and utility bills to the vendors; he only delivers junk mail and items he cannot tell if they are important. Lived here 8 years - nothing changed except our mailman's hatefulness and inability to do his job. He doesn't even have to walk to houses - they are in kiosks on the street and he is intentionally returning the mail which is obstruction of mail delivery.

  • Dane Skinner

Poor service . Informed deliveries say items are due for arrival , and then nothing shows up. Good luck talking to anyone about what the issue is either. Had a package delivery notification 4 days in a row from USPS informed delivery. Regular mail came , but the package didn't . Finally 5 days late the package arrived , a small vanilla envelope with some fuses , took 5 days to deliver from this office after arriving from New York in 2. This shows ya everything you need to know about this location. It's bad , real bad.

  • Catherine T

Moved to a new house, went in to get keys for the mailbox in the subdivision. They had me fill out a form and said they would call me within the week. Waited a full week and no one ever called me. So I finally called them several times only to have the phone ring to a busy and once having someone pick the phone up and hang up. All I wanted was to know if the key was ready to avoid driving all the way to the post office and then standing in the long line just to find out they may or may not have followed through.

  • London Bridges

I really dislike going to this Post Office, the staff is horrible. I have yet to encounter anyone at this location that can smile or be nice. I recently had the pleasure (sarcasm here) meeting Cruella De Vil. I encountered this lady and she was so rude, it made me wondered, why she is in a customer service job or any of them for that matter, when they truly dislikes dealing with customers. If this wasn't my PO, I would never go there. And I did work with customers, even the not so happy ones, but I still smiled.

  • Michael Helms

Had a package on October 28th 2023 that's was certified mail. I scheduled it to be picked up on that date. I arrived at Post Office on that date, and the package was at first unable to be found. Kristina, an employee at Post Office diligently, went in and found that the package was put in the wrong area and was able to expeditiously get it to me. Sorry Kristina, I could not use the phone number you gave me 1800 ASK USPS. It doesn't have an employee compliment or complaint line. Great job, Kristina.

  • Misty Simmang

The girl Stephanie who answered the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me when I was trying to call and report that the mail carrier left a panel of mailboxes open and we needed them to come lock it. She said "ok"and hung up without any explanation. I called back and she said that someone had already called. I expressed the communication was lacking and I was hung up on. She said she had stated "ok" and then hung up like that was an explanation. The post office sure is not what it used to be.

  • Johanna Rodriguez

Got here earlyish today to see if I could have someone help me or explain sending a package I had already paid for online. Was kind of intimidated and thought they would brush me off. I got in line and a very nice gentleman saw me with the package in my hand and asked if I needed help. He explained everything to me and answered my questions. Wish I got his name cause he really was an angel. Thanks for the help!!! Had a great experience at this post office...something you don't hear a lot!

  • Heather Beckman

Very busy and understaffed, BUT the employees seemed efficient and polite under what seemed like immense stress. At one point, I witnessed a customer even yelling at them for her wait time, but they still seemed to handle it gracefully. I wish I caught the name of the employee who helped me because she was excellent. Based on the service I got, I wanted to give five stars, but they really do needed to be staffed better to handle the demand. Not the employees' fault at all.

  • Summer S.

Horrible service! Have been trying to call all day and the phone has been off the hook the entire time. From reading other posts, this is a common occurrence. Package was lost in the mail and no idea how to retrieve it. Can't go by because I go to work before they open and don't get off before they close.I even went so far as to send them a fax because their phone is always off the hook. No call back, no reply, nothing. Very upset. No wonder more people us UPS and FedEx.

  • Jess Kelley

I had to call about a missing package issue and was told that "tracking was down" and to call back later, after their business hours. The manager said he would be there to answer the phone. Lo and behold, I call back and my call can't go through BECAUSE THEY ARE CLOSED. Doesn't even ring. He just wanted me off the phone and to not have to deal with it. USPS has lost ALL my future business, as this behavior seems to be a regular occurance. How are they still in business?

  • Angie

I'm giving one star because I can't give negative. Never get through on the phone. My personal mailman has an issue with us specifically. I get a nasty note in my box everyday because we have a car parked in front of the house. The box is not blocked. He's just too lazy to either put the car in reverse or doesn't want to get out and walk 2 foot to the box. There is approximately 10 feet between the back of the car and the mailbox. Not moving the car now out of spite.

  • Karen C

I stopped by to pick up a package during a relatively busy time. I had the signature slip that had the info for my package and the girl took 15 minutes to find my package. 4 people who were behind me had already been helped and left. She asked the guy next to her, whose window was closed - he was preoccupied with another task, to help her and he said “sure” and never got up. When she finally found it, she didn’t even apologize for the long wait. Poor etiquette.

  • Kim Minter

Horrible! I've had a package stuck in the parcel locker for a week! Called the phone number over and over for 40 minutes trying to find out when someone would get it out. Each time it rang until it disconnected itself. Finally left work early to drive over. I just stood in line for 45 minutes, waiting on one person, to tell me that she knew nothing other than it had been reported. This is why people buy from Amazon and the post office should just shut down.

  • Rebecca De Los Santos

They closed early and it was only 5:30pm. They're supposed to be open until 6pm. The doors were locked and they were helping other guests inside. They just started at us like we were stupid. When they unlocked the doors to let one of the guest out, they didn't even say anything to us. They locked the doors back up. There were several other people waiting and a couple more pulling up when I left. I'll never visit here again. Worst service ever!

  • Wade Mandujano

This post office always seems busy and the wait can get long. I do not know how many people are supposed to he scheduled but they do seem short handed. Not the most personable team but they seem to know what they are doing. The indoor signage needs updating and maintenance as there is one sign that has multiple missing letters, not sure what it is supposed to say but it is definitely for the public as it is facing away from the employees.

  • Katia K

They lose package with correct addresses regularly! I got a card for overflow mail and it said they would hold my mail for 10 days, but they sent it back earlier! Spoke with the manager once for one of the many lost packages with correct address and he said he would send me an email so I could get a refund , he never sent the email. If you call that location, they refuse to answer the phone. Just general all around lazy and incompetent.

  • Brian Young

One of the best post offices I'm town. Clean, friendly counter staff, and the stamp kiosk is the lobby actually works. For all you complaining about packages arriving from out of state in like 2 days but takes additional week to get it to your door. Packages likely go to Airport postal center or main post office on Perrin Beitel before sent to branches. Know the source of the delay before you blame the Henderson Pass post office.

  • Lorena Gambert

Awful customer service. Staff does not have the access to verify an address when mail is being returned. Only the supervisor has "access". The supervisor was called more than 4 times with no success. I waited more than 30 minutes for something simple that could of been done by the staff if they were granted access. Issue did not get fixed and I just left. Supervisor is very unprofessional and not caring on his or her duty.

The post office sucks! They need to get there staff retrained if they don't know how to do there job. This post office can't find packages that they leave notes for stating they have it at there location. They take your information stating they will call you and never do! Oh but they have no problem sending the item you've ordered back to the sender. Just say that you're lazy and you don't care about doing your job right.

  • Lorelle

Paid for priority express. Guaranteed delivery on January 18. January 19, received notice that my parcel was "Ready for Pick up" they never even tried to deliver it to the mail box! No one will answer why, no way to get refund of $30.00 delivery charge! They are HORRIBLE! Had to go to the post office wait in line for 30ish minutes and NO explaination! Tried to call the 800 number, hold time was 40 minutes! How awful!

  • Marlene Quick

In the last 6 months, I have had 3 packages ordered that never were put in my mailbox although that was what was reported in the tracking. One package tracking stated they put it on my front porch. Obviously the carrier for Pheasant Ridge Subdivision does not pay attention to detail. And….. it is sad that whoever received these packages did not try to bring to my home or return to the post office.

  • Kevin McGlothlin

It's safe to say it's rare you get exceptional service at a Post Office but I have yet to have any issues with the folks that work the counter, and mail pick-up window at this location. Today they went, what I felt, was above and beyond to track down a package, and called the driver to turn around and bring the package to my door. So today for the folks that have a thankless job I say, Thank you.

  • CMarie Mendez TheRealMissSanAntonio

The phone is always busy. Put it back on the hook. Answer the phone. Be friendly. If you hate your job, quit. Let some one who's gonna appreciate the position and who needs the opportunity work there. It's not a U.S. Embassy people, I'm sure if the incompetent people they have working there can figure out the procedures then anyone else who is better qualified and more courteous could handle it.

  • Virginie Durant

Just got lied to by the lady telling me my package was on its way to my apartment. Drive all the way from the post office to my apartment, I see the delivery person and she tells me that I have no mail for today. The lady at the post office was so lazy to even check and see where my package was and just lied. Thanks USPS now I won't get my stuff till Monday because of you incompetent workers

  • David Nguyen

This USPS office is flat out horrible. I was waiting on a very important document. After the 10th day I called this office, I kid you not 92 times and never got a ring out, constant busy tone! So I drive to the office and find two people waiting in line. So I called while I was in the office, phone still busy. At this point it had to be intentional! USPS clear this place out and start over!

  • Austin Bailey

I was somewhat hesitant to visit this location due to the negative reviews but wanted to share that I had a very positive experience. Th wait time was minimal and the employee who assisted me (Arnold) was knowledgeable (patiently explained the different options/provided quotes) and personable. It does seem that the USPS is making efforts to improve their service which is appreciated.

  • Christopher Anderson

Went in waited in line to ask about missing packages not for the holidays just an error on the shipping party, I wanted to know if the people at my old address have returned two packages sent to them in MY NAME. Was brushed off and told go wait in package line to see if we have it, I said if you had it I would’ve known, I want to know how to proceed. The rude lady just said next.

  • zack lala

I send my mail through this post office which is cost me $9.90 , I gave Lady staff $20 bill , she returned me receipt with 10cent , I told her that I gave you $20 note and u gave me 10cent in change, she rudely replied me I gave you $10.10 in change. She was lie to me just for sake of $10. Anyway be careful at this post office, specifically when u do cash payment at the counter.

  • Olivia Nordin

Tried to pick up a package and just said it’s lost leave your name and phone number. Hopefully this gets resolved but I do see what other reviewers have said about this US Post Office location. Staff is very unfriendly and slow. If you can go to any other office I would say go! This location seems like they really don’t care about your time or that you drove all the way there.

  • andrea lozano

Closed out my P.O. Box after 6 months when I noticed a trend that every single one of my Amazon packages was likely being stolen from someone at this location. Even after speaking with the supervisor they couldn’t help locate them even tho they had tracking and we’re supposed “delivered” to my box. I’ve never had so much trouble with usps until I started using this location

  • Logan Beiswanger

Absolute worst post office in San Antonio and the passport lady is something else. I'd recommend scheduling and appointment somewhere else so you don't have to bother here or she'll just cancel your appointment without letting you know because she has a conference to attend, then tell you to go wait in the passport line downtown which I've done before and takes forever.

  • Samira Dabbaghmanesh

My experience was terrible , they cancelled my passport appointment literally 15 minutes before my appointment after one month of waiting, and a guy who was calling himself the manager was so mean, he didn’t even apologize or try to show some sympathy, instead he was like this is what it is . It was the worst experience and customer service one could ever have.

  • joef3322

Its is the most slowest and laziest post office i have even been to.Asked for my mail bc mail boxes was broken into, yhe guy seemed to be bothered by getting my mail.As i waited 30 - 40 minutes in line and to be told we dont have your mail..really So i complained that day and went back 2 days later and lord to believe i had a whole stack of mail. 0 stars if i could

  • C R

Would not walk more than 4 feet to deliver a package. when contacted by the shipper, the USPS told the shipper that there was no way it would be reattempted any sooner than the next day, at best. So much for the supposed postman's creed - "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds".

  • Randy Coleman

Lost, stolen, or misplaced mail and parcels is the name of their game. They are unapologetic and unhelpful. Without any accountability the employess will continue steal packages and provide a diservice to the community the are supposedly serving. Why do they deserve to be considered for a government bail out? Contact your local P.O.O.M to make things happen.

  • Juan Rodriguez

Have called a total of 10 times and will be soon more. I started calling as soon as they opened to be the first one and not have to wait. I don’t live in the region so calling is the only way to get ahold of them. I have never reviewed a business but this place is just bad based on their ability to answer a phone call. Would give negative stars if possible.

  • Rebecca S.

I've used this Post Office for many years. Fairly quick service and friendly staff. They have been helpful on a number of occasions when mailing boxes overseas. But like any place, they do get long lines, especially during the Holidays. But if you go early, then they are not too bad. Patience is a virtue, and a little planning prevents the last minute rush!

  • Margaret Reichenberg

I recently moved to San Antonio and needed a new key to have access to my mailbox. The application process was simple. While there was a minor snafu when I went to pick up the key (in about a week), the supervisor and my mail person were extremely helpful and it was resolved with no real inconvenience to me. I am glad they are my servicing post office.

  • Michael Jones

No one answers the phone. I stay in an apartment complex and the mail box is in the main office. USPS carrier claimed they tried to deliver so they took it back to the post office, One funny thing with that is my apartment management was in the office during the time that the carrier was supposed to have came by. They didn't see any postal worker.

  • Debbie Davidson

The US post office gets bad rap a lot of the time but I need to give them a big hand. I mailed a package Monday to Houston and truly did not expect it to arrive in time for my daughter in laws birthday today. Their house was flooded by Harvey and she is very traumatized by this y'all came thru and made her day. THANKYOU THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS

  • Carolyn Johnson

You would feel better after hyena's eating your inside guts while you're alive then dealing with this post office. Their customer service is so bad I can't put it into words. I'm not surprised. There are very few functional post offices with employee's that can tolerate being at work. Good grief where do they find these rude inept workers.

  • Gif247

Horrible service. We stood in line waiting twice to get help for one thing. The first cashier failed to notify us that we needed to make an appointment to receive help with a passport. We did not find this out until the second cashier told us, quite unenthusiastically. At least be kind if you’re going to be working at the front desk...

  • Ryan Smith

Very bad service at this location. There are maybe two employees that care about their job and the rest are relatively incompetent. If you enjoy having your mail lost, or not put in larger lock boxes when it is clearly small enough to be placed there, and rude employees is something you enjoy, you've come to the right post office.

  • Sasha Castillo

Multiple packages have been “delivered” but nothing in mailbox. Parcel locker key was put in my mailbox, but when I opened my locker, it was empty. I called and complained, Frank Jimenez “supervisor” said he would have the carrier check other lockers, and follow up - never did. If I could rate them a less than one star, I would.

  • K S

Unfortunately, I have to agree with all the negative feedback regarding this particular post office. I'm not sure if my mail carrier can read or if he just dosent care because everyday there is tons of miss delivered mail. I am tremendously display satisfied, and can't wait to relocate to an area with a competent post office.

  • Tyrone Wassing

I have had a few packages say delivered but never received and as others have said this location is horrible for trying to contact... Sucks that this quality of service is allowed ... Also don't use the outside drop box...I have had multiple letters disappear when used..I only drop off inside the building now because of this.

  • Smike

These idiots lose our mail all of the time and put other peoples' mail in our box. There are large community lockboxes that parcels go into.... instead, they give a 'final notice' of delivery in the mailbox and ship my stuff back to China on the 3rd day. This has happened multiple times to deliveries that I wait 6 weeks for.

  • Ken Wilkinson

While some of the people are great, we have "lost" two packages sent to us that were traceable, and marked "delivered" that were sent to our P.O. Box for safety. We didn't get either of them. Curiously, there's no video. The postmaster was supposed to call us regarding this. That was months ago and we're still waiting.

  • Elena Martinez

Been tracking a pkg all week. UPS delivers to post office friday 2/01. Post office in route 2/02. I was home all day only to recieve an update that delivery was attempted..note placed for further instructions. Ummm no note on my door no note in my mailbox. This is the 4th time this has happened. Very frustrating.

  • Steph Fiebrink

Do your jobs! I am home all day long and no one came to my door. I get my mail and apparently have a certified letter, but no one ever came up to my door! Tell your lazy postal worker to get off his/her lazy butt and actually do their job! Have tried to call the office directly, but no one answers the phone!

  • nuna business

5 stars to the black lady who has bad knees being the only one working there on the day I went and didn't seem to lose her spirit. But 1 star to whoever thought it was a great idea to have only 1 staff member working the desk two weeks before Christmas. Where did you go to management school, Wal-Mart?

  • Jeff Carawan

Door says open till 6. They closed the blinds but did not lock the door. Gentlemen in front of me kept hollering (nicely) to an unattended lobby. Someone came out after 5 minutes and retrieved our packages after another attendant ushered us out and locked the doors. It was 5:30. Change the sign.

  • Sweet tea Noneya

Lies about bringing my packages to my home. Ive had multiple packages postponed due to them saying I refused the package when I was not home. I even waiting at my mailbox and no one showed up but still stated on my package electronically that I refused. Does anyone know where I can report them?

  • Jacobb Uzzell

The woman who delivered my mail was on the phone not paying attention to what mailbox she was delivering to. Then rudely yelled at me when trying to collect my mail. Called to file a complaint of corse no one answered the phone. From what i can read that is not uncommon for this establishment.

  • Texas Brigades

This office is extremely busy at all hours of the day. However, the staff is always courteous and never rude, even when the customer does not come prepared. If there is any room for improvement in this office, it would be that they are understaffed and USPS needs to get more employees there.

  • camila alba

Every time I come pass 5:30 they are closed, although both on the website and door it says close at 6:00. I was told last time is because of staff shortage. Please change your times online. It’s annoying leaving work early to get my package and find out you guys close whenever you want.

  • Carol Humphrey

Five Star service from Ms. Vanessa. I travel miles out of my way and wait for her like to get great customer service. This lady obviously views her with as worship onto our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Thank you! I highly recommend this particular USPS and her particular line.

  • ps3fanboy61

They lost another one of my packages. I live in an Apartment and the mail carrier keeps putting my mail and packages in other peoples mail boxes. Happened again today. I know this is true because a couple times my neighbors have brought me my packages that were wrongly delivered.

  • Thomas Peterson

Came here to send something via certified mail with a tracking number. Almost no wait, staff was super fast and very friendly. I was nervous after seeing all the bad reviews - but this place was great (especially compared to many other post offices I've been to in other states!)

  • Cristina Paniagua

Packages are continuously opened and resealed. They stole my daughters backpack and nap-sack for her first day of school and now I have a very disappointed little girl. Shame on staff that steals from others!! Disgusting. I will be reporting this post office and their employees.

  • Val Cancino

I love this USPS! I have to go almost every day to mail out packages for my job and the staff is always beyond helpful + patient. I'm located closer to another USPS but always go out of my way to come here because the customer service is above and beyond <3 Thank you, Rebecca!

  • tatovive

There are two separate lines for pick up and drop off. A miserable experience awaits you. I've never seen a post office run so poorly. As 10 of us waited in the pick up line with no one helping the other 3 employees pretended not to see us. This was a terrible experience

  • Uly Yanez

Three weeks in a row three different orders I was notified through email packages were delivered, nothing in parcel locker. I went to the local post office on Henderson Pass they took down my information and were supposed to call me back, haven't heard from them..

  • Taralee Gardner

I came in to mail a package and decided to ask about an issue I’ve been having with another post office. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. And the managers stepped in to provide further assistance. I appreciate their time and help!

  • Toby Rudik

Do NOT use this location if you need dependable, certified mail services...EVER. The management and mail carriers have no initiative or care or competence. The counter employees are fine. Go somewhere else if it's important that your mail reach it's destination.

  • Arthur Thomas IV

I like to use the self service kiosk here. It is sometime broken sadly. The machine is a little slow and usually the automatic measure doesn't work well in packages. It is still better than standing in line. You can also use the kiosk at night which is great.

  • Jay Franklin

Typical post office with horrible service. Two people on the counter and a line out the door. One of the ladies said it’s time for her break and she does not care about the line of customers. Can’t believe she said that out loud in front of everyone.

  • Jeanne Tofferi

Had a scheduled passport appt today, husband and I took time off work, got txt confirmation of today's appt. Showed up early and was told, " the passport guy isn't here and I didn't call in the backup. You will have to reschedule."

  • Kristy O

I'm not sure why so many people are down on the post office location. I see a group of hard working and courteous people. Never had an issue with anyone. This can be a very busy office at times but they do their job and do it well.

  • Jiraporn Janthamalee

Ragy was the most helpful post office employee that I have ever had the pleasure of in encounter. I had no idea what I was doing and he saved me a ton of money. This’s the best post office in San Antonio by a wide margin!

  • Chris J

Nice people! They helped me with a problem that another post office could not help me with. The facility is very clean, I went around noon and it wasn't crowded... Plenty of parking. I consider this now "my" post office!

  • Mallory Klein

I just shipped a box going from TX to NY 2 day express ( today is Saturday and it will arrive in Monday) for $14. FedEx or UPS would have cost me well over a hundred dollars for the same service. USPS TAKE MY MONEY!!

  • Jeb Brown

Terrible mail service, make sure everything is insured that comes to your house. These clowns have lost two tracked packages in the last month - not to mention all the other Misplaced(?) - being generous here, mail.

  • Omar D

HORRIBLE!!! Tracking info says DELIVERED but NOTHING IN MAILBOX. Theyre suppose to leave a key if its bigger than MAILBOX and nope nothing there. The OLD LADY that drops off our mail has a very BAD ATTITUDE!

  • Its4vibe

Virtually nonexistent customer service. They are literally trying to do as little as possible these days. They used to be helpful. This government establishment is everything wrong with America today.
