I took a package in and asked the gentleman behind the counter how much it would cost to ship it. It was a small envelope with bubble wrap lining. The wait was approximately an ounce. It was slightly larger than a regular personal envelope. The man behind the counter at the Ellis Street post office admitted he was not from this particular location. He was very kind. However he told me that I needed to stamps. Lo and behold one of my friends receive the envelope from me today in a town about 50 miles away. It was delivered with a two dollar postage due note on the top. So now I have seven people who got one of these that’s $14 for something that he told me would cost about a dollar each to send that means I owe $21 for these little envelopes that have about an ounce in them. I don’t mind paying the money but I do appreciate it when I’m told right up front what it’s going to cost. Now customers are going to be charged two dollars because of a mistake made by postal clerk. Not a good thing! This price was quoted to me the week of October 5

Usps should be disbanded. they lose packages and dont help youbfind them,employees are rude and incompetent and they steal packages for themselves. Even have an employee argue with me over something that did not concern them and gave me an

Always friendly helpful employees... I've been using this Post Office for the past year {pretty much exactly}. Never have a problem, enjoy speaking with the employees, & they help me figure out the best way to mail my items, if I ask.

My package said that it was delivered into my mailbox and it’s not I check with my neighbors and they didn’t get it I’ve been trying to contact the post office since I can go because of work

employee was being rude, i was just asking about the sizes of boxes and she answered with a whole attitude & i was being nice with her definitely not coming back

People that work here feel as if you are asking for favors, do your job! Thats what you get paid for! Save time and go somewhere else!
