I've been coming here for years as well as the only other, recent 1 star review and have to mention the things this place has done over time to consistently show why it's the worst practice I've ever had to deal with. Waiting an hour to see the doctor while he chats about nonsense with staff in front of you is maybe just a snippet of something larger going on I hope, who knows, but the things that I do know are quite problematic are: I have been misdiagnosed and told its nothing when later it turned out to be quite something after getting an x-ray through other medical recommendations. I've had the entire wrong side of my body looked at and then the doctor only notices it when I say left instead of right months later in a checkup. And now, I just came back from a clinic where I had to deal with all the staff while the whole waiting room listened to my situation because my family practice gave me the WRONG patient requisition form. Not only did they give me the wrong form, but ask me to bring back the other one from across the city because I haven't wasted enough time on their mistake yet, and then get incredibly frustrated and aggressive on the phone when I prompt them to expedite the faxing process, because I need the required document to my doctor who at the time like half the clinic, is sitting right in front of me. Deeply embarrassing experience and the lack of professionalism exuded from the receptionists alone is worth telling everybody and anybody to stay away.

dr. bennion is the best! she actually listens to you and cares about every patient including me and my mom. i’ve gone to her since i was a teenager for all sorts of things and it’s always a positive experience. sometimes the wait can be pretty long in the waiting room, and she is only there twice a week i think, so it can be a wait to get an appointment specifically with her but i think it’s worth it! - she doesn’t rush patients which may be the reason for the wait. i’ve also been to other doctors when i just need a quick refill both in person and on the phone, and they’ve always been helpful for this easy things! you do have to pay for parking here, but i believe if you get your medications from the pharmacy on the first level you get 30 minutes free?

It's hard to be overly effusive of the doctors that work at this clinic. My Doctor is Dr. Jeremy Debruyn, a particularly caring and astute physician who always remembers you and ensures that he is up on your chart, history and latest medical developments before meeting. It never takes more than a couple days to book an appointment and if my doctor is not available another equally competent physician from the clinic will quickly step in. Their switch board is very busy but seldom is one put on hold for more than a couple minutes. I have no hesitation to recommend Dr. Debruyn and Valleyview clinic as highly capable and responsive to urgent needs.

I was misdiagnosed by my family Dr at this clinic as having a 3cm hamstring tear.. After three months of physio as suggested by my Dr. And no öchange to my injury, WCB sent me for an MRI. It was then confirmed that I had a complete hamstring rupture. After seeing a surgeon I was told it was too late to do surgery as I had scar tissue and that I would to live with my Injury. The surgeon also suggested that I ask my family Dr why I hadn’t been sent for an MRI. I did contact her and she apologized and said that she would help me. Never heard from her again.

We’ve been coming here for many years and just have to post about how rude, unfriendly and unhelpful the front end staff is. I often have to deal with them for different reasons and it’s always a negative experience. Even walking up to the front desk is negative. They have strict rules and fees, which I understand. This put together with their snippy attitudes leaves you walking away feeling like you aren’t in a caring healing office, you’re just a number. Go to an office that tries to help you, not make your life harder when you’re health is down.

Stay away from this practice. They have went through many changes in the last few years resulting in a lack of professionalism and compassion by management and front-line staff. The doctors who are still in the practice are not worth a dime of your valuable time. They only want to deal with people who have a high chance of never, ever being sick. You can do much better at a different clinic. Unless, you like being treated like garbage.

Dr Kirvan has been my family doc since I was about 14, and has been absolutely amazing. However, the front desk staff are incredibly unhelpful. The office needs a different software that would make notifications and reminders for their patients a possibility and that would not require a phone call to make an appointment.

I have spent more than 15 years seeing Dr. Toye at this practice. Not only is he professional but he truly cares about his patients. When he isn’t available, any of the other doctors feel comfortable and reliable.

We've been really happy with our experience here. Dr. Kirvan is awesome, very knowledgeable and great with our newborn daughter. The staff have all been very professional and quick to fix any mix-ups that happen.

Dr. Toye has been our family physician for years and is a great Doctor! Highly recommend him as well as the clinic as they are very thorough and skilled.

My doctor is outstanding. There a several people answering the phone to book appointments so the wait time on the phone is short.
