I used this agency for 3 years to manage my CBD apartment (I am overseas), having previously purchased it through them. Had a series of very poor experiences and strongly recommend against them. Here's a summary of my experiences: - They took 3 months (!) to let my apartment. I had to repeatedly push them to give information on what was happening - why is the apartment not let yet? - nothing. Eventually I got jack and stared to look for another agent. That finally got them moving and one of their agents shook himself awake and found a tenant...but that was 3 months down by then. Under my new agent (Morton) the apartment was let in 3 days. - They procured tradesman to do some painting and make some minor fixes (removing a desk affixed to the wall), the work was done very poorly and left the apartment damaged. This was never followed up by vanguarde. They then charged me full price. I only discovered the issue some time later when the new agent took a look at the property and said "what the *&^ is this...?". I requested funds be reimbursed but was fobbed off by (vanguarde) agent, who got very aggressive (agent's name: Tim Brecknall). So I am now in process of pursuing them legally to recover funds. - They procured fake quotes for repair work in order to direct work to preferred suppliers - The selling agent outright lied about the condition of the property upon sale (I was overseas at time of purchase and had to rely on their representations - silly me, with hindsight) All in all I found them a very unprofessional operation and recommend shopping elsewhere. There are plenty of good agents in town and you don't need to waste time with bad ones. p.s., Suspect many of the other reviews here are fake.

Overall experience we are very happy and beyond our expectations. We would like to congratulate you on having Ms. Jaala in your team. She has an excellent attitude towards interacting with clients and no demand made by the client appears to be too great. She also makes interacting with clients a sheer pleasure and this in my opinion is the hallmark of a 5 star customer service. Ms. Jaala communicated very well with us and proactively during the whole process. I know she is deserving of the praise as she is doing exceptional work, but this would not happen if you did not inculcate this into your training and into your management. I hope that she can be acknowledged for her outstanding job.

Tim and his Vanguarde team were extremely helpful. Moving from Newcastle to Sydney was a daunting move for me and my family. Tim Breckell was very accommodating he showed me several properties on a Saturday even after hours. Tim went out of how way to ensure all my questions were answered to avoid feeling confused without any pressure so I could digest the area and following up.
