Very clean, modern & trendy space with an extensive menu. We stumbled on this & ordered the warm prawn/calamari salad, hotcakes & granola.. All food was very well presented & was served quick and politely which is rare these days. Service was full of smiles & chit chat, we’ll done on hiring lovely wait staff! We have been to Velvet Bean several times now. It is becoming our go to place at Epping Plaza and we are happy to recommend it to others. I have had several different meals now and will recommend chicken parmigiana , fish and chips and Avo breakfast. Coffee is settling into very good quality with very pleasant coffee of the 100% Arabica bean. Probably my favourite. They are also stocking very nice cake selection and (imo) a lovely lamington. ( just call me old fashioned) service is settling into very good now as this new establishment moves forward. Well done all. See you soon.

Food was nice. The French toast was really good. Would recommend to not get a chocolatey-sweet drink (the mango juice works well coz it's not that bitter and not that sweet). The mixed berry compote actually surprised me! Could've been the maple syrup mixed in as well. The actual toast wasn't as "egg-y" as others I've had. The oreo and coconut biscuits are a nice touch. The scrambled eggs on toast was alright. Pretty standard.

Love love love the girls that work here! So nice to be able to sit here while waiting for love ones from the hospital, which is only located just across the road. They look after their customers very well, and I have seen how much they care for our healthcare workers from the hospital. Will keep coming here and support this business. This cafe has been one of my personal comfort.

Just stopped in for a late breakfast. Convenient & comfortable spot. Relaxing atmosphere. Good food- quickly served. But the best part about this cafe is the beautiful friendly staff, especially the cheery young girl who served me. Will be back, mainly due to her.

This is the best coffee in the area by far. I work nearby so have tried 5+ places. Taste aside, the staff are so friendly and kind, really makes stopping by a highlight of the daily 9-5 routine. All reading this review, please give them business, it's very much deserved! :) :) :)
