We have been using Victor's for 13 years to repair and maintain our Jaguars. We have been happy overall with his work but unhappy with his attitude. We were more concerned with our cars leaving the shop repaired and maintained so we turned our emotions off with the poor attitude side of Victor. We brought my 8 month ago purchased used Jaguar XF Supercharged that we spent weeks finding (not many Supercharged around the country with low miles) to Victor's shop for an oil change and brake pad (only pads) change. We were called several hours later and were told that Victor took my car out for a test drive and totaled it. It was the other drivers fault so we were somewhat understanding until all of the work was thrown on us. Victor refused to answer my phone calls and let us know we would need to talk to his attorney. Meanwhile, we were offered an amount that was $5000-$6000 less than what we initially purchased the car 8 months ago for. We were hoping in good faith that he would fork up the rest to bring me ack to my position a week ago before I brought my car to him. But again he refused to speak with me or my husband. He has over the years invited us to his $15,000 yearly Christmas parties but has lost 2 customers of 13 years over a $5000 difference to purchase he exact car he totaled. I'm am disgusted and would think hard before bringing your high end foreign car to his shop. We have to now hire a lawyer and spend our time fixing this problem and another unknown length of time trying to find a replacement car. All while Victor can sit back and ignore us.

Updating my review. I called yesterday and was told I could drop my car off today. I went to do so at 5pm and knocked on the office door. No answer. A guy comes from around the corner and just looks at me like "what do you want?" He literally said nothing to me, so I eventually said, "I'm here to drop my car off." He lets me into the office where a woman is sitting. She asks for my last name. Can't find my file in her file cabinet. Asks me "And you're picking your car up?" I said, No I'm dropping it off." Then she finds my file and doesn't know what is going on apparently. Then the guy comes back and says "I thought you said you were picking up." I said for the 3rd time, No I'm dropping it off. He asked me if I called. I said yes. Then he went on to act like I was causing an inconvenience. So I said never mind, and left. Basically, disorganized and horrible customer service.

I took a 2008 XJ L to Victor's to have it inspected as we are considering purchasing the vehicle. Paul was able to work me in on a 2 hour notice. He was very thorough and took the time to share his knowledge with me as he inspected the vehicle. Mr. Victor himself test drove the car and showed me around the shop, which is quite expansive, and was kind enough to show me his Jaguars. We enjoyed some very nice conversation. I was able to take their recommendations to the dealership, who was actually quite impressed with my thoroughness and knowledge of the make and model (thanks Paul and Mr. Victor). Their shop was chock full of Jag's, a Ferrari or two, and one very beautiful Aston Martin. It's obvious that they are masters of their craft and if the deal goes through they will have earned a customer. Thank you Mr. Victor and Paul for helping me out.

I have been a customer of Victor's Service Center for little over a decade now. They have serviced two of my Jaguar's XJ8 Vanden Plas vehicles, a Ford F150, and a Land Rover LR4. If Google had a rating of 10 stars, I would rate them a 10. Their servicing of vehicles is impeccable! They are honest about the repairs that need to be made, or not be made, and they explain in detail why, and they are not out to perform a service that is not needed, like many other mechanic shops. Their work is high quality, and their pricing for the work they do is fair for the workmanship they provide. You will be very happy with their service! I have been a very happy customer for over a decade now!!! Victor's Service Center is my mechanic of choice for all of my vehicles! PS.. they work on all vehicle types, so check them out, you will be very happy!

I left a review on YELP but a year later here is my review on GOOGLE. These guys are awesome. I think the first thing is the quality of the facility, it lends itself to the staff doing good work. It's large, well built and shady all day. Victor, Rose, Paul, Mark are all the best at what they do and yes they check your fluid levels etc. To me way way better than the Stealership. I have spend thousands there and every time great work fair prices impeccable service...its a good feeling to leave my prize possession in their hands! And so Paul worked on my Daughters Ford Edge it was in bad shape//Presto Killer Car now ..Victors is a plum in Olmos Park the guys are smart as anything take your domestic Car here!!!!!!! They are better and smarter than the Stealeir ship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been taking my cars, an XJ6, XJ8 and an XK to Victor's for +/- 25 years. They know what they are doing, will give you personal attention, and are reasonably priced. Years ago, I had an issue at the local dealer. They diagnosed a problem and quoted a price. I suspected the diagnosis was incorrect and unnecessary and took the car to Victor's where it was repaired quickly at a fraction of the cost. I drive past many shops to get to a shop I trust and have not been to the dealer since. I have referred several Jaguar owners to Victor's and they have all been very happy with the service.

Bought a car in Houston (Jag) and driving to LA but overheated in San Antonio. Paul closes at noon on Saturdays but called in help to replace an impossible-to-find cooling fan and worked till 10 PM. I was able to tip his help but not after persuading him to take the gratuity because he said he didn't want to take money from someone who was in need!! The price he charged us for the work he did was ridiculously low. Thanks God for this Angel he sent us - he saved us thousands of dollars on hotels and shipping the car to LA (long story). THANK YOU PAUL!!!

Wish I could give them 10 ⭐️!!! I HIGHLY recommend Victors! We brought my husbands mustang here in hopes that these guys could find out what was causing it to randomly cut off. And I’ll be honest with you, we really didn’t know if they would be able to…since we had three other mechanic shops in three different states “work” on the car and still unable to fix it. The guys at Victors really took the time to find the problem even though it wasn’t easy. They are thorough, honest, communicative and had his car fixed within a week.

I really appreciate Victor's great service and fair pricing. I found them a few years ago when my wife's Jaguar needed some work. I've always been satisfied with the service and cost. Now I take my other vehicles there. Earlier this year (January), I took my 2005 Jeep in for some major brake work. Everything worked out great, but a minor brake squeak developed in July. I dropped it off and they fixed it at no charge. I really appreciated that! Again, great service and fair pricing.

I searched hi and low across the country looking for an expert to build me a V12 Jaguar engine. A friend suggested I call Victor. I'm glad I did! Victor provided me with EVERYTHING and MORE than I needed. He is gracious, trustworthy and very fair. I live in NY and the distance between us was a concern...but it wasn't a problem. Victor really did a great job and my new engine is PERFECT and exactly the way he said it would be. I wish I lived closer so he could service all my cars!

Being a novice JAG owner, I decided to choose a JAG service center that made me feel comfortable and had good reviews. I have not been disappointed. Friendly, family atmosphere. Long time customers come in while I am waiting and have nothing but great things to say. I am impressed when Paul did a thorough annual inspection of my car, not just the sloppy routine inspection done by the corner inspection stations. Fast, reliable service always.

I would only take older Jaguars here. Took my 2009 supercharged XF in and they found the vac leaks but how they went about helping me after that was terrible. The technicians are terrible. I even took my Jag to another shop and they laughed at the fact I took it to Victors service center. He said there good people but ever since Paul has been taking over he’s a Joke and I agree. They charged me a bunch of money and I still have vac leaks.

I had purchased a 2002 Jaguar at an auction and brought it to Victor's to diagnose and repair. Victor and his staff were professional and bent over backwards help us get this gorgeous vehicle back on the road. They diagnosed the problem and tracked down the best possible solution for us. These guys are honest, caring, professional, and in this case nothing short of miracle workers. I can not thank you enough!

Paul determined the cause of the cel repeatedly coming on with occasional restricted performance message was the manifold which he replaced. Throughout the diagnostic process he kept me up to date about each step and repaired it in a timely fashion. Since then it has operated well. He also anticipated a problem based on his experience with the year of manufacture and Jag model. Very much appreciated.

I had car trouble while out of town and fortunately found these guys. They got me right in. They were refreshingly honest which is a rarity. They fixed my car the same day so I could get on the road and get home. This was definitely a five-star experience for me. If I lived in San Antonio they’d be my go to service center. FYI the work was exceptional I drove that day for 10 hours no problems!

Victor’s has always provided superb service whenever I bring my 2004 Jaguar S-Type in to have work done! They diagnose my problem, fix it, and get my car back on the road quickly, while explaining clearly what the problem was and how they corrected it! Victor and his son, Paul, are totally trustworthy and dependable to keep myJaguar purring! I’ll never take my car anywhere else!

I took my 2006 Jaguar S Type R because of a P0430 code and hood not closing properly. Paul diagnosed the problem as a bad catalytic converter. Said they are not made anymore, but said there would be no issues driving (2000 miles per year). Also fixed the hood. Paul said there would be no charge. Victor's is the best as they always look out for your best interest.

My vehicle developed an engine coolant leak on my way to a long weekend in San Antonio. Luckily victors service center popped up on Google maps and I was able to get my 2008 range rover in Friday morning. By 1 o'clock, they had me fixed up and good to go, for a very reasonable low cost (especially compared to any sort of tow truck fee!). I highly recommend.

My wife drives a 2001 Jag XKR convertible. I wouldn't trust her car to anyone else. My father in law turned me on to them from "back in the day" and he is totally reliable when it comes to his recommendations. We've had her car in Victors shop twice and both times were quick, efficient and reasonably priced.

Victors Service Center is a very reputable service center to have both foreign and domestic car repair and service. Took my vehicle yesterday with a check engine light on, had two hoses replaced at a good price, and now I'm on the road. Fast, friendly service, and Paul the service manager was very helpful and knowledgeable.
