Edit: in oct/2022,- the post office seems to now run during the stated opening times. I even managed to enter twice, thus far! Original review: I’ve lived across the road from this post office for the past 2 years. Since living here; every time I’ve tried entering (during the officially stated online opening times), despite the lights being on and staff being present, the door has been locked and I’ve been denied entry. I genuinely do not see the point in this post office, does it ever run or function? Take right now for example, It’s 12:00 on a Monday, the lights are on, staff are present, however the door is locked and a sign is out saying ‘closed’. Why isn’t the webpage updated accordingly? Joke

Been going to this post office a while, has recently been taken over by a new owner who’s given it a complete refurbishment. They offer loads of groceries and stationary, really good local corner shop. Opening hours are great and he’s constantly expanding his services! Every time I go in he’s accepting sends or returns from another delivery company. Never a wait in here - such a better service and a friendlier atmosphere compared to waiting in the long, dark queue in the other local post office!

Ok, but the staff seem very abrupt/offish. As a small, old-style post office, I would expect friendly staff, but no. And if you request a proof of postage certificate, I'm pretty sure the postal staff aren't supposed to hand your letter/package back to you afterwards to put it in the box outside, as it could lead to fraud (claiming you sent the letter/package when you didn't & then saying it must've gotten lost in the post).

Disgusting service!! Tried over charging me for postage and when questioned I’m told to leave and had abuse thrown at me whilst I had my one year old in my arms!!! Avoid at all costs.. disgusting, rude old people that run at a snails pace trying to scam you!!! Sticking to Gidea Park.. staff are a LOT friendlier for one!!

I used this post office for DVLA purposes as I live down the road from this post office. The staff were very polite,kind and helpful. They checked my v62 form and advised me on what steps to take. I will definitely be using this post office again as they are extremely polite and helpful. Thank you

Very nice off license with a broad selection of items to offer considering the size. Likewise, Prakash, the owner, is very friendly and was the utmost help when I had a query and help with documents I needed to send off. P.s. a decent selection of alcohol now available at good prices …

Been taken over recently and expanded to offer a range of food and household products. Very handy location for both the post office and when you need a pint of milk or something. Friendly staff.

Stated opening hours are 7am, arrived at such time and called twice as shutters were down- no response, a wasted journey on cold and wet December morning.

staff are always helpful and efficient, and on the rare occasion I have encountered a queue, the wait is never very long. great service - thanks!

Just your average post office and has/does everything you'd expect. The only issue is that it seems to be closed half the time I walk past it
