I placed an order for a $59 bottle. They accepted my order 15 mins before closing and never delivered it. I then proceeded to make another attempt by making the same purchase again. I called Vino by the sea to check my delivery update and was told they do not see a purchase on their end although I was in fact charged. I was then recommended by sales associate Jamie to purchase directly from their site rather than a third party app in which they use for their consumers. I hung up and ordered on the site.. being charged another $50+. I called the location to confirm my purchase with Jamie who kindly offered a 50% discount due to the bad experience I exhibited for the past two days. During this time, I have three transactional charges and only one order was being delivered. Upon delivery, Jamie stated that he spoke with the owner Andrew and due to everything I've experienced they've thrown in a $19 bottle for free in addition to the 50% charge which I was satisfied with.... I THOUGHT. The next morning, I checked my bank account where the three charges were still in place AND the discount was not awarded. I called Vino by the sea for an update on what was going on. Andrew, the owner insinuated that I was lying and refused to go back and forth he stated. He stated that he was unaware of such discount being mentioned. So not only have I been charged 100+ for products I have not received but the attempt to making the experience better was ultimately a fail. Save your money, prevent a bad experience and overall headache by purchasing your liquor at a space that actually cares about your experience.

Today I visited Vino by the Sea for the first time. I wasn't greeted by any of the employees in the store. I was ignored until I asked for what I was looking for. I was then shown what I was looking for. What surprised me was the young lady behind the register asked me have I ever purchased the Spirit I was looking for.i answered NO but I did purchase what I was looking for and that's when I was treated with courtesy and respect I hope I wasn't ignored because of me being a African American woman because I REALLY DON'T THINK WE PATRONIZE THE STORE TO OFTEN!!

What an incredible addition to Arverne and the Rockaways! Vino by the Sea is now our official go-to for wine and liquor. The selection is wonderfully curated with local as well as worldwide choices. Adam and his team are approachable as well as knowledgeable about their selections. I felt very confident in their recommendations and I’d advise anyone to trust them to help choose the perfect bottle or case. Vino by the Sea is a very welcome boutique to the area and we wish them years of success. Prost! Cheers!

What a great shop! It is not a huge space but has a large selection of wines as well as liquors and chilled cocktails. After speaking with Adam (who happened to be the owner) I purchased three bottles. The wines were affordable and so enjoyable. On my second visit Adam was not available, but the wonderful customer service continued. I typically hate to choose wine, so it's really nice to shop where they are eager to answer my questions and make excellent recommendations.

I ordered a bottle of wine at 6:20 pm for delivery. After an hour and a half, I called to find out where it was. The clerk disconnected my call. When I called back, he stumbled around and said, it should be here in a half an hour. It takes over 2 hours to get a bottle of wine delivered 6 blocks from the store??? I won't buy from them again.

Love Vino by the Sea as a resident of Arverne for 10 years this was something that was needed. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Would love to see wine tasting activities(if possible) to create more neighborhood experience, but delighted but a great addition to the neighborhood!

The first staff person I talked to seemed to have limited knowledge, but the second helped me find exactly the wine I was looking for. Their islands of featured selections seem to be well curated. Very interesting selection of ciders. Based on one experience, I would recommend this place.

Not as friendly as a repeat customer. This charge of $3 for a bag. Please. They just come of as nit picky, with local providers and I'm not impressed with the taste of local. I order from the liquor warehouse in Woodmere and will continue to do so. Wider selection.

I've placed gift orders with Vino By the Sea online and over the phone. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I like that their inventory is different than other wine stores in the neighborhood. I look forward to going to the store in-person in the future.

Far Rockaway's premier wine emporium. Excellent selection of vines and spirits from around the world. Free tastings Friday nights. Cold beverages (cans and bottles) to take to the beach. Reasonable prices. Friendly knowledgeable staff.

Very freindly staff . Store is small but well organized and stocked. Huge selection of wine and liquor .Spent 37 bucks for a nice bottle of wine and bottle of grapefruit vodka. Happy to have this place in the neighborhood!

Every time I come here after my shift I get treated like family. Amazing selection of sake, hard lemonades and small batch liquor. 10/10 would recommend anyone who enjoys good vibes and good music.

Excellent curation, local spirits, accessible pricing- what else do you need to love this place? My crystal ball says I'll find myself here on summer nights and beach days out in the Rockaways.

I drove 45 minutes to have to wait for them to open... They open at 11am its 1150am and no one is here.. There are people waiting for them to open in the cold.. UNACCEPTABLE.....
