Great experience at the new clinic. Lovely staff, very down to earth pet centred vets, ours was kind, sensible, and knew the options and the centre had obviously chosen the best alternatives at the best prices. The pup (large and currently leggy making friends) had her last shot and didn't flinch, she was distracted by a treat and the injection and tablets were painless (and tasty:). I liked the clean bright setup with easy to use weighing system, separated areas cats vs dogs but in our case puppy vs protective large dog, everything was easy, the people were all genuinely kind and interested, we received some treats for pup to play with, it was a great experience and not expensive. We will be back!

I chose this vet about a year ago because it's fear free certification. It has lived up to that and more! The vets are absolutely amazing, so caring and are always willing to try anything I suggest to make things less stressful for her. Today she had a procedure with them and they could not have done better. They loved and cared for her like she was their own and she woke up so smoothly and without any stress. I will continue to take the long drive out to them as they are without doubt, the best vet clinic I have ever known!!

When moving to this area 7 years ago, I tried every vet in the area. Not only is this the best vet by far, it is also the best vet practice I have ever been to in my 30 years of having pets. They are extremely good at what they do, compassionate, friendly, go the extra mile, patiently explaining details to my often endless list of questions and show a care for my little ones that is heart warming. My dog actually enjoys going there! I could not recommend this place more highly.

We had our dog Daisy at the practice within 12 hours of needing a vet to see her because of an eye infection. From the phone call to the end of the appointment, the entire team were fantastic. Very warm and genuine from the get go. The bill was not a jaw dropper either, which we had experienced before at our former Vet Surgery. Highly recommend this genuine, caring practice. 10/10.

I was a customer of this business for several years and am happy with the preferred service. On the last visit, the experience was very disappointing when the information I received was not only wrong with a very expensive solution, plus at the time to leave I saw a mockery in the attendant's face. Clearly unrespectful attitude. I feel unhappy with the customer service

My cat, unfortunately, needed to be put down in November. I cannot praise the vet and staff at the surgery more highly; they were absolutely wonderful. The vet explained everything that needed to be done, and my boy was put to sleep with me by his side, quietly and lovingly. The staff were empathetic and supportive. Bless Dr Karen and the team! They saw me and my dog Calvin very last minute for an emergency and despite being pressed for time before closing this did not affect the quality of care! Calvin’s comfort was their top priority and I did not feel like the care was rushed due to closing time approaching! Such an amazing caring team!

So I only went here cause my cats a fussy one and my regular vet just wouldn't clip his nails they kept saying he was too aggressive cause he would growl and they wouldn't even put a towel over him to calm him so I went here and he was in and out within 5 mins so vets here clearly know what there doing! Will go again

Zillmere vet has been my vet for at least a decade. Karen and her team are some of the most professional and empathic vets and nurses that I have had the privilege to know. I trust my beloved pets with them knowing that great care is taken in their health and in times of sickness. I highly recommend their services.

Took my 12 year old Rottie in a few months ago for a couple of issues that were diagnosed and explained perfectly by the vet. I can't remember the male vets name but he was very knowledgeable, confident and connected with my dog straight away, best experience I've had with a vet ever. Recommend him highly!

A wonderful vet clinic. Have been attending them for 9+ years since they were at Zillmere. The vets, nurses and customer relations team are all so beautiful and knowledgeable. Very grateful to have them looking after my pups, and for their kindness and compassion when we lost one of our babies.

When Leoni left our old vet clinic, we were at a lost. Previously our dog had a reoccurring skin rash that flared his ear infections also. She found the solution on the first visit when 7 other vets couldn't. When she left we hunted her down because she's the best vet you can find.

Have been going to Virginia Family Vet (previously Zillmere Vet) for 18 years now and always a wonderful experience. The vet team, nurses and support staff are all lovely and have helped us through the good times and the difficult decisions, am eternally grateful to all of them.

My cat been in a cat fight and developed a nasty abscess under his eye. Got appointment same day. Vet cleaned the bite wound and prescribed antibiotics and pain relief. 1 week later my boy cat is much better. Wonderful staff. Super supportive. Cheers Zillmere Vet

My dog was treated like a family member. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. The vet was very caring and really great with my dog. Overall it felt more like a family visit than a business. I would recommend anyone to bring their pet to this vet surgery.
