Visitor Centre is very informative to visitors. The staff are excellent and they give a nice overview of precisely what Koeberg Nuclear Power Station entails. Would definitely recommend a visit to this site!
Amazing place to take the kids to rollerblade or ride bikes or even go for a brisk walk while enjoying the odd sighting of a springbok and other animals between all the fauna and flora!!! Love this place...
The reserve has 108 eland on the premises, of which a big portion will be moved from the premises in September. Take your mountainbike and cycle around the reserve. ID requires for entrance!
One of the few places in the country where you can do a "game drive" on your bicycle....and for free. Eland, springbok, Zebra are some of the wild you can see.....sometimes really close up!
We went for mountain biking and really enjoyed the trail which is quite easy. As a bonus we saw a lot of wild, i.e. elands, zebras (always at the same spot) and springbuck.
Closed!! And has been for some time. Eskom can’t even keep a visitors Centre open … ☹️

If you're looking to understand nuclear power in a bit more detail, this is a great place to start. Awesome walks and wild life to see as well.
Been visiting here to make use of the excellent FREE biking trails. Animals roaming around adds to the charm of the location. Safe and secure!
Visitors centre is closed. It says open, but when you get there they tell you it has been closed because of covid, and they wont let you in.
Centre is closed! Since Covid! Website still says it's open, wasted a drive and very disappointed....

Had really fun apparatus but I felt that the presentation was very defensive and didn't teach much
You learn so much about technology and the making of electricity which many take for granted.
