In February 2023 my parents stayed over at Vlei Cove and immediately told me to book accommodation with them for my trip in September 2023. Linda made the booking process (along with some changes on my side) so easy. Tsholo is such a friendly and remarkable host. My brother, his girlfriend and I stayed in the Studio with mountain view and it was spectacular. We had such a great time. Thank you, we will most definitely visit again!

There are so many iconic towns within an hours drive, Cape Point was definitely a high light. We also enjoyed breakfast every morning at Frank's Coffee and Bagel Bar - amazing! (less than 1km away)

Even though SA is suffering from crime, we never felt unsafe in the Marina de Gama area.

Instructions for the self check-in were clear and easy. When we arrived in the dark, our room already was lightened with very warm, welcoming, comfortable light. There was an excellent instruction in the room on how to use the Wi-Fi, the multimedia TV, the pool and so on. The bed is unbelievably comfortable And the room the kitchen and the very spacious bathroom are clean and modern. The little terrace is facing the lake and we used the canoe to paddle around twice,which was really nice. We also loved, that they separate and recycle their waste and that the pool (that we didn't use, because the weather wasn't that warm) has a natural water cleaning system. Linda was always very kind and helpful and we've had some nice little chats with her. Overall we had a perfect stay at a perfect place and we'll definitely return!

I stayed at vlei Cove Guesthouse for 1 week. It was an amazing stay with an outstanding comfortable large bed(I'm 190cm tall) The check in/out was easy and the communication with the owner was flawless. I wrote the owner that I would arrive prior to check in time so they offered me to let my bags in their house. The house is just in front of the lake with a beautiful quiet view on the mountains and the surfers spot Muizenberg is just a 5min drive away. I could park my car in front of the garage of the house which is very safe. Since I had trouble to check out in time the owner helped me out and gave me more time so I could organise my further travels. The Price-performance ratio of the apartment is outstanding for Capetown. I would always come back. Thanks for the lovely stay Linda :D

Make sure you remember the name Vlei Cove when you are in Cape Town. It's a hidden gem. I stayed for a few days in February 2022 and my stay was spetacular. I was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception and I never got enough of the beautiful lake view and birds singing in the morning. There is a Boat/Canoe available for rides at no additional costs. The room was very spacious, sparkling clean and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic pool view. I have no hesitation in recommending this place. Talk of real value for your money. Will definitely be back.

We have just spent four days at Vlei Cove in August 2023. It was spotlessly clean, the TV and WIFI were excellent, the situation and outlook absolutely delightful and the bed very comfortable. Unfortunately we felt our unit was not satisfactory for self catering. There was one flat surface which was OK for computers and two basic chairs. No table to eat at and no comfortable seating. I believe the other units at Vlei Cove are very much better set up than the one we were given.

Stayed at the Vlei Cove guesthouse and Wow what a lovely time I had , the rooms are beautiful and very clean , the amazing view of the vlei is spectacular , staff are super friendly, made me feel comfortable since the moment I got there , definitely worth your money , I will highly recommend Vlei Cove Guesthouse to anyone. Nick and Linda's place was brilliant, great value for money and great location, space was clean and welcoming, bed is unbelievably comfy and the shower was great , added bonuses with tea and coffee and there was care taken in providing what was needed e.g. blankets. Nick&Linda's Vleicove was an absolute joy and pure heavenly experience...will definitely stay longer next time. Worth the third weekend getaway, gave us the feeling of nostalgia, peace&quiet with sounds of gentle waves, ducks, geese and a few families kayaking. All the amenities needed to enjoy a holiday away.

When booking the hosts were very helpful and accommodating and was just a call or text away for any issues, the place is amazing very neat, quiet, private. They even provided the small essential things like coffee sugar so on to make your stay more comfortable thank you so much would definitely recommend anytime.
