My VW Polo appeared to be leaking oil. Took my vehicle to Vtec Toti and Keith assesed my vehicle in the workshop for the repair and a service. I was quoted R 2400 .00excluding vat for the vehicle sevice and an additional R5400.00 excluding vat for the oil leak repair. Total of R 7800.00 excl vat. I then took my vehicle to another VW workshop and dealer and was informed that the oil leak was due to the oil filter needing to be replaced and would be resolved with the service as it is part of the service to replace the oil filter. My car was given a full major service, wiper blades changed, brake light and stop light globes replaced and the total cost was R 1950.00. Vtec Toti not only attempted to overcharge me on the service but then attempted to take an additional R5400.00 for an oil leak that in essence did not exist. I did contact Keith to inform him that they had misdiagnosed my vehicle and enquire about the huge proce difference, he was arrogant, rude and very unprofessional. I will never ever suggest services of any kind from Vtec Toti. They are thieves and liars.

I gave them 1 star because their receptionist was polite all the time and kept good contact with me. I am very dissapointed on the workshop meneger that didnt want to talk to me or my partner when we needed him. The guy that was stripping and diagnosing my car didnt want to talk to me. They stripped my clutch kit without my consent. Their qoutation was sky high even my insurance couldnt cover it. The most heart breaking part is they stripped my car and took other parts of the car. When I took my car to their workshop drving it but now it have lots of problems. My computer box was swapped now I have to buy a new computer box for my VW POLO. What I am noticing from the review section is they target women and fraud them.

My VW had a Engine light coming on and the car lost power, being on holiday it was a shock to suddenly last minute repair my car before returning home. I Contacted VW in Durban and they said that they cant assist the next day as they had no diagnostic person on site the next day. I stumbled on the Vtech Toti not only were they available on Saturday to help, they also ran the diagnostic and sourced the part needed for repair quickly from Balito, this was fast and effective service and they manage to get my problem resolved they also committed to ensure the car was ready the same day as they were aware I had to return next morning at 5:00 Thank you for the quick and prompt assistance to get the car fixed same day.

The level of service at this establishment is abysmal. I brought my 2023 Volkswagen Golf 7 Tsi in for mechatronics repairs and was quoted a staggering R37000. While my innovation plan covered R25000 of the cost, I was still left with a significant shortfall to pay. To make matters worse, once the mechatronics were fixed, I was informed that the clutch had also been damaged, resulting in an additional quote of R27000. When I attempted to retrieve my car, my calls were ignored, and Akheel, one of the employees, spoke rudely to my mother. Despite my inquiries, the location of my car was not disclosed, and Shazia provided no assistance whatsoever. Overall, this establishment is not worthy of a single star.

Struggled to get information out of vtec toti, regarding my vehicle. We needed that a different mechanic to phone and find out what is going on. Had a maintenance plan and they told me that i must not even bother trying to claim as it is too much paper work. Guess what it was not so bad dealing with the paperwork myself. I am still waiting for my diagnostic report from them and it is months already back. They charged me for this service and i did not even had the option to get my old parts back as proof that it has been replaced. Not very impressed with the service received.

Worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with VTech auto. Got my vehicle back after a charge of R2200 for a quotation and two fuses. Immediately noticed my vehicle is in limp mode and a new engine protection light on the dash. After calling Keith about this he said he can repair it at an additional charge. Got my car back with more faults and a radio that wasn’t working, plastic splash guard that was stripped off laying in my boot and a damaged battery that I had to replace. I wouldn’t advise no one to use them .

Horrible service!!!!!. Inflated prices. The women Ruwaida at reception is so rude when I complained about her customer service she said you lose some and you win some. For rear wheel bearings they charged me 6000 other quotes charged +- 3600. Bottom line is I was not happy with their service at all. They charged me for their diagnosis R690, when I asked for some paper work for the diagnosis that I've paid for they refused. They said their technicians listen to the problem.

Driving ALL your fuel out on a test drive, and then don't remembering what was quoted due to lack of communication with staff. Won't take my car back there. Absolutely dissapointed!!!! Fitted ball joints and tie rod ends our self today and as there was still a noise after vtec replaced our saddle rubbers...only to find it was never put on correctly or tied!!! It was so loose, and we have akids in the car everyday, blerry hazardous!!

Excellent service - Collected my vehicle for new brake pads and disks when I couldn’t take it in all the way from morningside! Expert advise - found additional faults at no extra charge and contacted me before my vehicle was ready for collection allowing me the choice to proceed or rebook without a price escalation!! Fantastic friendly and efficient team, great service, value all round!

Do not use these people. I took my car for coolant repairs. I was told they changed the water pump. 4 days later, the problem started again. I have been requesting for the pump they changed, and they are ignoring my calls. It is obvious they never changed it. Basically I paid R5400 for nothing. They are such scams, their prices are ridiculously high and varies per customer

Great Service. Vtec have on numerous occasions, fixed problems on my vehicles in which the dealer workshops could not. Vtec always go's the extra mile to ensure your car is in the best possible condition. I personally trust this service center completely as they are very clued up and transparent.

Excellent service received from Keith and his team as I recently had a complete overhaul on a complex twin charged engine and when completed the car ran beautifully. Keith kept me informed throughout the entire process. Great customer service from Vtec Toti.

Staff that's always willing to go out their way to help and satisfy your requirements. Never disappointing, always keep to their promises and honest advice. Numerous telephonic updates making u feel as a very valued customer. Hats off to VTEC.

Well I myself have had good service from Vtec but this time round with my son's Nissan navara it had to go back the next day because it was not repaired right.

Very fast and efficient service, however when replacing my real bulb they never secured the rubber seals properly causing my boot lid to be misaligned

I personally enjoyed the great customer service and you guys did a outstanding job on my vehicle thank you. I shall recommend you guys.
