Where do I begin with this horrendous experience at this club. I was visiting family in the Uk and decided to visit this place Saturday evening. Upon arrival one family member out of 7 was denied entry due to having trainers on. Which I totally understood. But where things took a turn was when I saw multiple individuals leaving the club with trainers on. I politely asked the bouncer “but the other individual have one trainers.” That’s when the bouncer( a white bald male extremely fit and covered in tattoos on his forearms) started yelling at me, a woman half his size and throwing his hands in my face. I immediately took a step back in fear for my life. He visibly became upset because I asked him a question and said “you guys aren’t getting in.” What started as one family member now turned into all 7 of us. I thought this was quite odd and his demeanor was very violent. I took a step back and looked the club up on Google reviews and low and behold. It stated if you are black good luck with getting in. I even said you guys don’t have the best reviews. He said I didn’t know bleck people could read. This was utterly disgusting! I asked the bouncer why he was yelling at me? And he said I’m not going to argue with you no means no. I said I’m not here to argue but rather just asking why he’s yelling. He started trying to intimidate me by towering over me. Honestly this took things left and I was super frightened. I am not from the UK and to know this is how this establishments treats people who appear black in skin color is quite scary. I opted to leave a review rather than use my Tik tok platform or Instagram platform to post the disturbing videos of the bouncer yelling at me! Because those videos would immediately surface the internet and destroy this business. Please be cautious of this place. I hope you guys treat other tourist better in the feature.

If I could I would give -1 star for this horrendous club. My family had come to visit Leicester and some were even from abroad I thought I would take them to a nice night out and clubbing around Leicester and I know about Waikiki since I have been there myself prev but when I tried going another time with my family we were told without any reasoning that we can’t go in to the club and my family were told they are “too old” which is ridiculous and we have never ever heard a club doing that. We couldn’t help but find it very humiliating and embarrassing and I was ashamed I even attempted to bring my family to this place. Especially the guy I have uploaded a pic of he was the one denying our entrance and I couldn’t help but think that it was a bit biased and racist because we are Asian however everyone else was allowed in. All we wanted to do was go in have a drink or to enjoy the music and chill but for my family to be told they are too old and can’t go in without actually any legitimate reasoning was an unrealistic experience as the guy on the pic had said there’s no reasoning just cannot go in when we had done absolutely nothing wrong. Very disappointed.

I recently attended on 28/10/23. My god is this place appalling!!! Me and 3 of my friends all got turned away at the door due to footwear and Halloween costumes for their Halloween event. We all understood and simply asked for the refund as we had prepaid for their event. Not only did they refuse they also let in groups of 7 with bubble trainers. Absolutely fuming I spent £50 all for the doormen to have a laugh and joke at us. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with dignity. Don’t stoop this low for a good night. Unprofessional and joke of an elite club in Leicestershire. Can see why everyone gives 1 star reviews.

Went for a girls night out here and was faced with a very rude door man. Ive been told he goes by the name of Mark turner. Hes vile! Bold white guy. No manners at all and starts fights and trouble with women so be careful as we left with glass to our faces. I will not be returning as reporting him to the police as hes very unprofessional! His job is to keep people safe not put them in danger. He needs to be fired asap as ive been told this isnt the first time! He seems to have anger problems and attitude and is employed by waikiki themselves.

It’s been horrible. I got turned down by these 2 security guys for not having the right clothes. Thank God I didn’t pay a ticket or got me a free entry. I don’t recommend anyone attending to Waikiki in Leicester because you can be refused at anytime regardless of your background. I used to be at Waikiki back then but since this year they completely changed. So please go places like Mosh, Bruxelles etc. because you won’t waste time and energy with them. Plus many of them are more humble with themselves.

Great venue, very live and rocking when its kicked off staff, hostesses and security are all very well mannered would defo reccomend this place to anyone definately the best in leicester town, go vip for full experience and they really look after you defo 5 stars for us and hats off to joe the manager who keeps it all under control. Top place great music amazing lighting and decent size place.

Went in and the lady at the front told me it was £10 to enter so I gave her a £20 note and then she told my mate it was £7 entry, so I told her to use my money for both of us and I didn't get any money back and then she made my mate pay for herself so between us it cost £27 just to get in and then the bouncer told me to go in or get out after I asked why it was different prices

seemed a nice club but think its ridiculous and extortionate that that force you to put your jackets in storage that you have to pay for.basically cost me and my partner £21 just to enter.crazy prices and wont be going back and I'll be making sure everyone I know knows how bad they pressure people to pay more money

Bought tickets for their Halloween event, then proceeded to get turned away because we were in Halloween costumes, and tame costumes at that, nothing outrageous. Bouncer was a knob about it when questioned, citing “no steel toe cap boots”. I was wearing dress shoes

Just want to say we book table vip new years and would highly recommend this venue the staff and door men were spot on I even left my jacket and thay replaced it for me big shout out to Danny Manger very helpful top venue top people would highly recommend for some one birthday party or night out etc …

Fantastic night from the door staff to welcoming faces on the pay desk . To the dj who seems like he’s Leicester very own DJ EZ . Bar staff and hostesses provided a service with a smile definitely be coming back to waikiki .

Not a racially diverse club which is a shame. Music is bang average and could honestly do a lot better if it’s trying to continuously attract students. Spent 6 pounds to enter and barely stayed an hour. Not impressed

Very bad club, my friend got racial motivated and wasn't allowed in the club because he was wearing a "nike tick" on his shoe (Jordan 4s), while I was wearing air forces as a white boy and was let in.

waited until 1am as ‘it got busy at that time’ and was completely dead, everyone was walking in and instantly leaving - we paid £15 for tickets for no reason

only good thing are probably the drinks, music wasn’t great only few bunch good songs, and they charge different depending if you are male or female but it is what it is

I remember when it was The HorseFair in the 1970s and 1980s.Had some good times there.I've seen this is to become a gym and the building above apartments.

I’ve been to this club on many occasions now and find it very safe and enjoyable, defiantly go back!
