I was at Walgreens today and decided I needed to write this. I have spent a fortune there in the past year plus. As a transplanted Chicagoan, Walgreens is a staple and I've always enjoyed great Walgreens items (even though they can be pricey), the service and their store brands. This location is very convenient to me, so I've gone OFTEN in the past 18 months. However, they seem to have great difficulty honoring the sale prices they advertise. I have had to frequently question the price as being incorrect, while explaining the sale parameters to the cashier. They then become annoyed and scoff at what you know to be true. Upon insistence, they begrudgingly travel to the aisle in question to learn the item(s) is in fact (surprise), on sale. Even then, I have had to return back to the store after finding an item was double charged (this experience occurred again TODAY). I had exited one minute previously and came back in. The cashier asked me to get the item from my car (no idea why, I had the receipt), the person who assisted with the "this is not on sale," items only moments ago, acknowledged I had just exited the store. After more confusion, the clerk then credited my card and kept the item. I explained for the third time that the item was in fact mine, however, I had been charged twice for it. It was obvious even after several explanations, that he did not understand. As a result, I was late for work and it was an extremely frustrating process. About a year ago, I found the service to be seamless and the employees attentive and friendly. Now, it appears the customer is a nuisance and the general overall disdain by my extensive patronage will keep me out of this location in the future. Sorry Walgreens.

Came to this pharmacy today where I had my sons ER prescription transferred to because my pharmacy was closed. I was told that there was no valid insurance information so I gave them his insurance card. I was not aware there was an RX card for BCBS now but that’s my mistake. What I did not need was the attitude advising to the pharmacist I believe she was in a white coat from the nurse oh she cannot use that (I am right here). I could have been informed as you were speaking about my issue to the pharmacist like I was not present. From what I overheard this nurse or tech has been here for a long time. I get times changes and mannerism is basically thrown out the door but I received nothing but pure irritation from this tech. Take the time to educate customers; I get they are busy and understaff most of the times, but every customer is different and should be approached as such. Without hesitation, I was advised they could not fill the prescription without even offering the out of pocket expense. So I asked how much was it, she said $29. My golly I thought she was gone to say $290 and even then I can afford to pay for my sons prescription. Please take this as constructive criticism ! OFFER THE OUT of pocket expense before you dismiss another customer who was picking up antibiotics for her 4 year olds PNEUMONIA! First and last time filling my meds at this location. Thanks!

This is absolutely the worst pharmacy. Do not send your medications here, especially if it's a life saving daily medication! You will not have it in any timely manor, if you get it all. I had two scripts sent here after an immediate care appointment at 11am. They had said next day would be the soonest. Already not happy about that but okay. I get a notification one script isn't automatically being filled so I hit submit on the app. Now it'll be two days for both the medications. Why it's now suddenly taking a whole extra day makes no sense. I go in the pick up my scripts the day it's supposed to be ready. They were short staffed and therefore the drive thru was closed so I was forced to go inside. Not a huge deal but annoying. It still WAS NOT ready, and it was just a steroid cream. So one they were completely out of and the other they claimed insurance didn't cover. If I had known that I wouldn't have gone through all that effort. I waited 2 days for them to waste my time. I had them both sent to Kroger and it was ready the same day. Both medications. There was zero insurance or supply issues. Unacceptable, I am lucky these were not super important medications I cannot imagine someone going days because of their lack of communication and supplies.

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAIT DAYS AT A TIME FOR YOUR PRESCRIPTION TO BE FILLED! This location has gone to HELL in the recent months. If I could give it ZERO STARS I would!!! The drive-thru is never open anymore you have to go inside.. the inside lines are very long.. and your prescription is never ready on time. They are ALWAYS closing early without warning and have changed the pharmacy hours several times in the recent months. It should not take DAYS to fill your prescription, it should only take a matter of hours. When you call to speak with a pharmacist OR technician the HOLD time is 30 minutes or more waiting on the line to even speak to someone about your prescription. All this location keeps saying as an EXCUSE is that they are short staffed. STAFFING ISSUES is a COMPANY ISSUE NOT CONSUMER ISSUE. This is NOT the public's fault!!! Hire more staff and get the job done! I am changing pharmacies and getting AWAY from WALGREENS because this one can't seem to get it together. DO NOT GO HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I wish I could rate the pharmacy separate from their retail. The actual store itself is good, stocked, friendly & helpful workers. But, always call ahead to make sure the pharmacy section is open. More often than not we would show up to get a prescription and it's closed for the day. So now we call. Once on a Friday we had antibiotics called in. We left the doc appt & went straight there, and as soon as my boyfriend was walking up they closed the glass wall on him and they were going to be closed for the next 3 days. The guy working the pharmacy told him-through the glass door/wall-to go to the one up the road to have it filled there instead. So he went there but that tech or pharmacist or whoever didnt send the prescription there and that location couldn't fill it because they would need a whole new script written to their location. My boyfriend was so upset and disgusted, not feeling well and it was too late to get the doc to rewrite or send to another location, so he was without for the weekend.

-5 stars. I went in for a NAAT covid test, which the pharmacy tech (Paul something/indian lady) didn't know what I was talking about. This test is rapid and I should have gotten my results a few hours later and did not. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and plus, I was still feeling bad the next day. Today, Thursday I decide to call because I have more energy and I because I still haven't received results. Called and was told be the pharmacist on duty this morning that my test was never ran...and the swab sample is unable to be ran and I'd have to come back. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to return to them that afternoon, which i wouldn't at this point anyway, because they would be closed. Incompetent, irresponsible, and unprofessional....go somewhere else if you need a test or anything for that matter. they totally dropped the ball.

Good service along with being friendly. The store is not the fastest of speed when dealing in customer service, however I would say that they make up for it In with being professional. I usually just go here for photos; but the last time I went I found some rather decent deals on normal things. The store is very clean and as well as the parking lot. The store has a lot of parking to accommodate customers and entrances from both Pendleton Pike and Sunnyside road. Handicap parking is available as well as a Redbox located outside on the Sunnyside entrance. Inside there is an ATM. In addition to the store being clean, it is updated and not outdated which is a nice thing to see when shopping. The pharmacy (with drive through) is linked with a minute clinic which partners with Community Network.

I went to the clinic inside Walgreens at 10:30 my prescriptions were sent over at 11 Am I kept calling to see if my prescriptions were ready they told me they weren't there so I finally went and asked if my prescriptions were ready she told me they had never been released and it would be 3 more hours I said I can't wait 3 more hours she said we'll give us 45 minutes 45 minutes later she came back and said oh the pharmacist says it will be 3 more hours they probably won't be ready before we close I said ma'am I'm in a lot of pain I need my medicine. On my way out I spoke to the manager in tears I told her what happened and she went and got my prescriptions filled post haste I'm very disappointed as a patient of this pharmacy

Last couple of years the pharmacy has just gone downhill and if that is due to staffing or Covid or whatever I understand but lying about why you can’t fill a prescription. Putting people on 30min holds to just never answer. System not updating your prescription status. Saying you are closed when you are open. Saying they are open till 7 and closing at 4. Lying that you haven’t received the prescription from my doctor when they have a delivery received message from your pharmacy. If you can’t handle people’s business then deny them and allow them to go to a different business rather than give them the ring around while they are waiting for their important medicine.

  • Briana Bear

COVID vaccination hours and appointments should reflect store hours. I made an official appointment and received both confirmations just to waste my time and gas getting here to be told with a disgusting attitude that the Pharmacy is closed. That would’ve been nice to know I dunno on Google, Apple Maps, Walgreens, the Walgreens App, and the Walgreens confirmation email??? Why do you leave it up to your underpaid employees to deal with such an easily fixable problem? I can’t get my time or gas back, so I’m going to leave this passive aggressive review instead. Don’t waste your time here, coming from someone who has spent several years in customer service.

  • Grace Payne

During lockdowns, I was able to still get my prescription. After the lockdowns, I was still able to, but the pharmacy changed hours. That's fine. Then within the past year, the pharmacy started closing randomly throughout the day. There would be no notification. You'd go in to get your prescription, while the pharmacy says it's open, and you'd see a paper that says 'Closed for (random date), will open on (random date three days later or more). It made getting time sensitive prescriptions impossible to fill. Unless someone fires the entire staff and replaces all of them, do not waste your time and money there

  • strafer

Terrible service. I was the first person in line. There was no cashier at the counter. Another customer got in line behind me right before a young clerk walks by us including another employee stocking shelves. Right before I start to move over to the next counter since I was next, she looks past me and waves the customer behind me to cut in front of me. Thankfully the other customer had the decency to ignore her and said you are next. I think she was frustrated her coworker wouldn’t stop stocking shelves, so she skipped over me to pressure him to return to the counter. Really unprofessional.

This is the third time my doctor called in my medicine and it was never put into the system. I called the next day to make sure they were getting filled. They told me 2pm will be ready. I call at 4:45pm and they say “one is ready I can do the rest tomorrow “ Last time they did this I went inside after an employee said they are ready and they they didn’t begin to fill them til after I got there. (I try not to leave bad reviews but it’s been a problem 3 times and I’m sure it’s happening to a lot of other people also)

  • Mary Kennedy

Store manager Justin refuses to, or is incapable of answering simple questions like "when was it ordered? " "why wasn't it ordered when it was supposed to be" or "when will it be in". Pharmacy techs and pharmacists are from another store and have no idea what's going on. Walgreen's, please. Pay your people enough that the good ones stay! This incompetence could be avoided. The only reason i will continue to go back is that i have no choice. They are the only pharmacy that will order injectable medication. Grrrrrrr

  • Maranda Reger

They never answer the phone, and never fill prescriptions in a timely manner. They have also underfilled my prescription, and charged me for the full amount. I have to call them, and ask them why it wasn't filled yet. They say oh so it was an insurance issue we fixed it. Then they fill the prescription. I'm assuming they do this to give themselves more time to fill it. Since I've had the same insurance for 4+ years. I know it's not insurance issues. I have never experienced such an awful place.

  • Jonathan Caldwell

I gave this place more than 1 star because, in spite of the inconvenience of the pharmacy closing early and/or on the weekends, they apologize for poor service and at least give a hint that they want the customers back. Although I also take issue with keeping their stocked items updated, I do realize it is not their fault. I do wish that would receive more help in the pharmacy so they can remain open during regular hours.

  • Abby Duncan

They have a specific medication I need OTC (from the pharmacist and with ID) but I cannot find it anywhere else and it's been a lifesaver for me! It's actually a Walgreen's brand generic! The tech who originally helped me figure it out was very patient and as helpful as he could possibly be!! The only other reason I ever come here is if they have Diet Coke on sale! Haha

  • R h

Every month is the same thing. I call the day before to be sure they fill my prescription my doctor sent over. Im told it will be ready for the next day. I show up and told it will be an hour because they have to rerun it and fill it. This is why I call the day before but clearly more than a 24hr notice isn't enough time to fill 2 prescriptions.

  • Kaiden Tokarz

Waited on hold for 40 minutes to still not talk to anyone in the pharmacy. I requested a prescription to be filled 3 days ago and all the online option says is "were working on it" with no estimate of when the prescription will be filled. Will be leaving this location after being a loyal to this specific Walgreens for years.

  • Zach Shez

What a joke of a pharmacy. Hope you don't need Covid results in any manner of time. was told upon appointment it'd be 48 hours. After the appointment the pharmacist said 3-5 days. Just called to double check, and was told 5-7 business days. DO BETTER. would give 0 stars if it was an option.

  • Brianna Mccart

Worst pharmacy experience of our life. we've been trying to have them fill a prescription since 10am this morning. With the slow service, multiple excuses, and waiting on the phone for over an hour at a time, we STILL have resolved nothing. Never using a Walgreens pharmacy again.

  • Brian Neiferd

I go to this Pharmacy every month and the people are always nice and helpful. I've never had any problems, and the wait times are always reasonable. It seems well managed. Most pharmacies in this area are horrible so it's nice to finally find one that isn't. Thank you!

  • Patricia Empson

Sat in the drive up for 10 minutes only to pull up to the window to see a sign that says open only for covid test. That's B S they need to put a sign before the window so you don't sit in the heat only to find out that it's not open.

  • S S

Suppose to be wearing mask by law for covid they did not stop anyone who didn’t have them on . People did not stand 6feet away I will never shop there again. They don’t care about safety . I’m making sure this goes viral

  • Josiah Faust

I have been in and out of this pharmacy multiple times and consistently see the same pharmacist not wearing a mask. You are constantly serving high risk people. Put your mask on it’s not complicated.

  • amanda k.

Closed their pharmacy and didn’t have the common courtesy to send out a mass email/text notifying their customers. Now I’m scrambling to get my script filled at another location. Thanks a lot.

  • Darla Harvey

I love me some Walgreens. You can always depend on them for your basic needs. This is really my husbands mall. The only place he will shop at besides Sam's. They always got sales.

  • Love J

I love this Place I miss Michelle and Keith but am glad that Josh and Stephen are stil there . This place is like home because its comfort in it.. …

  • raphael ramirez

Very unprofessional. They don’t have pharmacist work here. Staff was using a pen to poke open a bottle of medicine before mixing the bottle.

  • Linda Anderson

Clean and good customer service. However, they are very slow at checkout due to lack of cashiers. They simply need more cashiers.

  • Ryan Coffman

Nice Walgreens, great staff, just your average convince store. Lots of items are overpriced, however there are deals to be found.

  • Shannon Burks

The pharmacy is very unorganized and rude had an rx sent over two weeks ago and still not ready customer service is horrible

  • Ashley Costes

Slowest Walgreens pharmacy ever. I spend over 30 minutes waiting in line nearly every time. With one person in front of me.

  • Charles Ward Jr

Everyone should move their prescription orders to somewhere else, since how they clearly do not want to work anyways.

  • Jonathan Rogers

This Walgreens is getting worse and worse. They take too long to fill prescriptions and the pharmacy staff is surly.

  • Tasha

Friendly cashier and pharmacy tech...went to pick up my rx with zero issues. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

  • Honest Reviews

The pharmacy is horrible. They never have meds in stock and one of the male pharmacy techs is very rude.

  • Fluff Guck

People are nice, selection is large, lines are small. That's pretty much what I want from a Walgreens.
