This pharmacy is the most unprofessional pharmacies I have ever dealt with. Only the pharmacist is professional, the rest of the crew will actively avoid assisting you. The staff is inconsistent and makes false promises as to when shipments/pickup will be available. I will now be using HEB on Washington to fill my prescription as an associate mentioned that the efficacy there exceeds their own. I also heard them gossiping about me after they ignored my calls three times and the tech answered knowing why/what I was reaching out for. The medication that is leading to write this is COVID related, and like another patient… the lack of humanity is prevalent within this establishment. It is embarrassing to associate with them at this point as they disappoint in every corner (service, professionalism, compliance, PRIVACY/CONFIDENTIALITY). The pharmacy shelves are messy, and product is barren. The only good experience I have had with this pharmacy is getting my vaccinations done, which was professional and easy.
I generally kind of want to hate Walmart because they can be evil (insensitive to toxic contaminants, generally poor customer service, they cannibalize small businesses, underpay their staff…), but I have to say, their pharmacists are generally quite good. They’re knowledgeable and easy to talk to, it’s easy to get vaccines without an appointment, wait times are short, and the staff who administer injections are sensitive to patients in the way you would expect from a good nurse practitioner. They keep my insurance and history on file, and they recognize me when I’m back in the store. It’s a tremendous convenience, delivered with a smile by folks who feel like neighbors. They’ve earned my respect.
The pharmacist working at this location (@5p on 1/2/2022) is in need of re-education. As a registered nurse, I am beyond surprised by her complete lack of knowledge to perform patient education. This woman is a lawsuit waiting to happen in my opinion. On the flip side, the techs in this store are great. My telephone number is on file at this pharmacy if someone wishes to contact me. However, my prescriptions will no longer be being filled at this location.
This pharmacy people really need education for what information to deliver and what not. As a Healthcare professional I really feel they need training. They can get the pharmacy in great trouble by denying giving information on availibility of essential medications. I am sure the administration of Walmart Pharmacy is competent for taking these into consideration.
Don't waste your time spending your prescription to Walmart. They have been unable to help me fill this prescription even though my doctor has sent over the prescription twice. I thought it would be convenient since Walmart is close but here I am 6 days later with no prescription. Send your prescription to a pharmacy filled with actual customer service skills.
I love my pharmacist. She has given several travel vaccines, given great instruction when I start a new med, and has answered questions on the phone when I’ve called. Prescriptions are always ready when they say they will be, prices are good, and all other staff are friendly and service is speedy.
Dj is super helpful and nice... but the fat guy in electric department needs to be put in the back! He is extremely rude and not willing to help at all!!! The manager in the red shirt is extremely rude and stands around like she can’t hear. Idk why they have all the slow people in electronics
Very but service. I have COVID 19 and my doctor send my prescription this pharmacy… Ellos no contestan y cuando lo hacen me cortan y ellos solo me han dado 2 medicinas y estoy llamando por mi tercera medicina ya que mi doctor mando 3 Prescripcion. Falta de humanidad y profesionalismo
Multiple times I’ve been told prescriptions are ready over the phone just to show up and be told they are not ready. 1/18 was told the prescription would be ready in 15 minutes and showed up 1/19 to be told neither prescription was ready. Happens Atleast every other month.
Until they learn to utilize their prescription drop off area in a timely manner they get 1star and that's being generous. There is no line anywhere but still someone can't seem to take my prescription in under 10 minutes.. ridiculous..learn how to multi task..smh
Waited an hour because the pharmacist said it wasn’t ready. Then another employee had to ask me “ma’m what are you waiting for” my damn prescription wat else!!!! To what he replies oh it’s been ready. You mean to tell me I waited a whole hour for nothing !!!!!!
Call before you go , they always close before the working hours , i used the self checkout today and couldn’t scan one of the item ,it was unknown item i asked one of the worker and she simply told me when its unknown you can buy it what??
Two wrong prescription mistakes. They take a long time to find us in their system. They have the wrong prescription and show me they have the wrong dosage which won't work. Then they took a long time to give a refund.
Samantha is awesome! She called my insurance to find out my prescription coverage because I did not have my prescription card with me. Excellent customer service! They also had my prescription to me fairly quickly.
Stuff is never ready when I pick up. It always takes "10 mins". Last time they were only able to partially fill my prescription. Needless to say I'll be going back to Walgreens from now on.
Customer service cannot be worse than this place. Called and asked me to hold but hang up immediately 3 times...then over 20 minutes waiting on the line without answer.
UNABLE TO FILL PRESCRIPTION THAT HAS BEEN SENT OVER TO THEM 3 TIMES, BUT THEY WILL CALL ON MONDAY! THEY ALSO SAID THIS LAST FRIDAY AND THE FRIDAY BEFORE THAT
I’m shockingly surprised at how great the pharmacy employees attitudes are. Way better than other chain grocery retailers. That’s for sure! Keep it up!
Pharmacy staff is willing to answer questions and offer useful information. They are polite and helpful.
