Thourough and comprehensive service, spitting every major minor and potential issue. I had an issue, detailed below, which was resolved in a prompt fashion. Kudos to Wayne and his team. I came to this auto mechanic after moving from Melbourne to Brisbane. My car didn’t need a service for another 6k km but I wanted to be sure. The man at the front was very nice and kept me in the loop. Unfortunately many expensive repairs were needed. That’s ok, I will save up and get them done. I get a service (500 for minor service) and drive home. I hop in my car a while later and it won’t turn on at all. Really, right after a service? I hadn’t had this problem before. I called RACQ who came out and told me the battery was dead. The overhead light inside my car had been left on and drained the battery. Had to buy a brand new battery, which I informed Wayne about. He called back telling me about the multitude of problems my car had (fair enough). At first he was a bit standoffish about taking any responsibility, however after a reasonable discussion Wayne was kind enough to admit team fault to an admittedly small mistake and offer a resolution. They fully reimbursed me for the money I utilised fixing the battery. Everyone makes mistakes, and these gentlemen were adult enough to own up to one and make it right.

Took my car to get serviced there and I knew it was going to be expensive. To my surprise they went through the car top to bottom and fixed a lot of things including the main issue and it was $1800. If the review was issued after this service it would have been 5 stars. Went back two months later, nowhere near when my next service was due just to get a roadworthy and it failed with approximately $2000 worth of repairs needed. I don’t mind spending money on my car. I asked, “you guys serviced it though?” And was but told “well it wasn’t a roadworthy certificate last time so we wouldn’t have looked at it as closely”, after literally going above and beyond on my service, just doesn’t feel right. Hardest thing to do when you don’t know about cars is find someone to trust. *Editing this from 3* to 5* as after it was posted i received a call from the owner. I feel that the follow up and apology after the incident, was genuine. The owner admitted that there was a lack of communication in my issue and offered to open negotiations to make it right. I am leaving my original review below but I want to say that at no point did I have concerns about the quality of work that was done and they have been professional in all interactions barring the brief one after the safety check.

I moved to Brisbane in 2019, and Wayne Park Auto initially stood out as excellent with the customer service getting the roadworthy for my car after moving interstate. They’ve done all my services through the years, and just now I was so fortunate for their services returning home from a holiday to a number of car problems, that all staff were absolutely amazing about helping me to sort - getting parts from all over Brisbane to get me my car back so I can drive for work as quickly as they could. There was one thing after the other, and they were busy but made the time when I called without a booking because of the mess I found myself in. So grateful- would highly recommend Wayne Park Auto

I called in advance to get a quote for some work and booked in later that day because the price was so reasonable. When I dropped the car off, I noted additional concerns I had and they were taken into account without a batted eyelash. Upon picking the car up, the notes I'd made in person were addressed and thoroughly explained to me. I was very impressed by the professional, efficient and friendly attitudes of everyone I interacted with. A note was left in the car regarding the measures taken to protect me and employees from transmission of COVID-19, which was a lovely touch.

Recently arrived to Brisbane and was looking for a local mechanic to service my BMW220i. The first two Paddington locals I spoke to (both drive a BMW), they both highly recommend Wayne’s workshop (thanks Tanya & Kerry/Lesley!). I took my car in for my first service. Noticed the workshop was super tidy (always great sign of course) and picked up the car the same afternoon as a happy customer! These guys have taken great care of my cars since I discovered them. Their pricing is very reasonable and they’re upfront about how much work might be needed, what it’s going to cost and whether it’s worth doing. Even though they’re busy, they have always been able to take a look at my car within a couple of days, and their attention to detail is second to none. I decided to get a price for my service as i have seen so many stickers with Wayne Park on them and a friend used to also go here. As it is close to my work, i thought i would give it a go as i needed to get the huge 90,000km service done. I am glad i did as it saved me $850 from the dealer price. I have always taken my car to the Hyundai dealer and will be taking it here from now on. The car runs and sounds much better than the dealer has ever serviced it and will save me $$$ as well. Super friendly and accommodating team with very fair prices. My car battery died just around the corner from Wayne Park, so I walked in to see whether they were able to assist - I was served immediately and had a new battery fitted a short time later! They even kindly checked my fluids and tyres, and cleaned my windscreen. Would highly recommend and will be going back for my regular services based on this great experience. Thank you, team!

As someone who isn't a car person at all I have never felt more supported by mechanic. The team at Wayne Park Auto and Tires have gone way beyond more the once for me. The service they have given me has always been beyond expectations. I have left once to try another dealership and that was a huge mistake. Was recommended by a friend to go to Wayne Park Auto & Tyres and am so happy I did. Very friendly, communicative staff and quick service! They initially quoted me for a cheaper brand of tyres but they later realised they didn’t have the correct size for my car. They called me, maintained the same initial quote price but gave me higher quality tyres. Will definitely be going there again for anything to do with my car.

Wayne, Andrew and the team have been looking after my car for years. Nothing is ever a problem and the cost of servicing is always fair and reasonable. Recently, I've been stuck a few times with a flat battery and other issues and Wayne and the team were able to sort my issues out on the same day every time. Dark skin guy just ask constantly money and even their price was higher than other places for same service … Literally changing battery my car model is 180 but they charged me 260 !! I’ve been going to the dealership but Wayne Park offers much better service. I turned up with an unexpected problem and got an hour’s worth of attention while they tried to help me out. Detailed diagnostics were run. At a dealership you’d get fobbed off to a ‘service advisor’ who’d tell you to come back another day.

Dealt with Wayne who was very friendly and helpful. Provided more than enough options based on my needs and wasn't biased to any brand. He also organised tyres and replacement within 24 hours but even tried to get them done on the same day. I'd highly recommend Wayne Park as they'll be getting my return business.
