Pre-pandemic, I would have rated this place maybe a 4. Now, I would avoid it. Pros: -Fast/Efficient Machines and Card Swipe Pay. Though sometimes the Dryers will become too full of hot steam and will have issues running. In other words, it will randomly stop drying your clothes. You just have to start it again, but you won’t know until you come to check on your clothes later. -The coffee shop next door is delish and you can walk to CVS from there if you need any detergent or other laundry-related supplies. Cons: -Unattended: There is a giant explanation on the wall of how to run the machines, but I was often asked how to use the machines. Being an unattended laundromat means that you will often be asked to do the job of an attendant by strangers. Pandemic related: There will be maskless people. There will be people eating their meals from the coffee shop next door in the laundromat. The person who was fixing their machine when it was having troubles wore his mask under his nose. This location is very small, and there’s no way to pass someone inside and maintain social distance. Initially the seats were pulled up and there was a divider to keep people from utilizing the tables to keep the trips short and keep people from sitting inside, but they removed that. Hopefully these two paragraphs in the future will be an artifact and irrelevant, but for anyone concerned currently, there’s your info.

Overall a great laundry mat. A bit of a tight squeeze by the machines, but nothing unbearable. Takes credit/debit card! Have never used it, but they have a machine to add cash to a card to use if you don't have a card to use. Usually pretty busy in the evenings, so I would suggest going earlier in the day if you can. 2 big washers, 4 medium ones, and a bunch of small/home sized ones. Plenty of dryers, something like 16 or so. Small bar area to sit at with some magazines, right next to a couple of tables for folding. Laundry baskets available for use, washing detergent/dryer sheets/plastic laundry bags available for 75¢ from a vending machine (quarters needed). Next door to a couple of cafes and all of a 5-minute walk away from a Rite-Aid (came in handy when I forgot my laundry pods one time!). A little pricier than some coin-op laundromats, but I'm willing to pay extra for the convinience of using my card. 100% recommend!

Credit cards can be used in this laundry facility. First I thought it is convinient but it is actually not. Washer mashines need several card swipes with 25 cents increments. So, you finally lost count how much you paid for one wash. Dryer machines not always start even if you slide a credit card and the machine confirmed that transaction went through. I had to move wet clothes to other dryer that works ecen if I have paid fir the previous dryer. You have no idea how much you paid in total. I would not use this facility again for sure. RE: Owner's responce stated that she/he spoke to the customer (me) on the phone. This is lie; nobody called and discussed the landromat issue with me. Therefore, I am changeing the rating of this facility from original two stars to one star. Just for lie.

The dryers are SO HOT!!! 30 minutes was somehow way too much time for a heavy load of sheets and towels. Crazy! Definitely start with 15 minutes and check in on them so you don’t waste $$ like I did!! I feel like they should have a warning on them…. They’re literally burning when you take them out more than any laundromat I experienced but hey at least they’re fast!!! Heads up the floor is pretty dirty and there’s no attendants cleaning or anything so try your best to make sure stuff doesn’t fall on the floor. Otherwise this place is fairly priced for the area and has nice new machines that work really well. Came on a weekday evening and it wasn’t that busy and there’s plenty of parking. Will be back!

It’s a good laundry, but they are not enforcing COVID19 precautions other than a sign asking people to wear a mask. My experience there, people weren’t wearing them or sanitizing. The big washing machines have a sanitizing cycle, but there are no cleaning products available to clean the dryers nor attendants to keep things organized. It’s also a small place, so there’s no space for social distancing. There’s no regulating of the number of people inside. I had people a foot away from me. If you are concerned for your safety during the pandemic, this is not a good place to be. My hope is the owners will do a better job and take their customer’s safety more seriously.

Used this laundromat for the first time today. My advice is do not do sleeping bags at this laundromat, especially down bags. The large machines weigh the article in the machine which means that a down bag gets almost no water to wash in. This is also true for my comforters. After spending a lot of money, I am not sure these bags and comforters are even clean. The dryers are confusing to match the correct machine with the payment box. There is a notable difference on medium temperatures between machines. Machines are very clean. I would come back to use them but only for regular clothing laundry.

Really great laundromat! Clean and fast, the two things I look for in one. They used to take cash but card is easiest. There are three sizes of machines for washing, the small ($4), medium ($5.25), and large ($7) and they take just under 30 min to run a cycle. The dryers are 50¢ each and both have the option for additional washes or heavy soil. Instructions are posted on the wall and very clear. All my clothes and blankets came out really clean from the washer, but it took two dry cycles to get it fully dry. Other wise it was perfect!

  • Aurora Rivera

This laundromat has card readers to operate the washers and dryers, and space available for folding laundry and bar style seating while you wait. You are able to use a sanitizing setting prior to using the washers for extra cleanliness! Overall this laundromat is clean, and the people that patron it are respectful of each other and the space. Prices for washer start at $4.25/load on the smallest load and $0.50/ 12 minutes on a dryer.

Nice facility fast and effective machines and at a low cost. It also helps that it is in a safe neighborhood, I feel comfortable enough to leave my clothes and go on a walk or skate around while waiting. The dryers are amazing as well you pay 25 cents for a set amount of minutes I think 4. So with one load you only need to pay like a dollar or a dollar 50 to get everything dried. Anyway this is the best laundromat I've found.

  • VERONICA VADUVA

very nice washers and driers, new. the prepaid cards they sell for $1 seem to work only once and when you use card or phone pay(the only payments accepted) it puts a hold for 3 payments of $5 then it adjusts to the actual amount the next day, and the following day it releases the $5 holds. I did 3 loads in 3 washers. hours say 7am to 9pm. it's 8am and still waiting to open. Can you open earlier and close later? 5am to 11pm?

So this laundromat isn't good. Good area, that's for sure. It was clean... yes. But many things I disliked. There cheapest washer is like 4.00. but there big guy is only 7.00 They only have 2 rolling carts for your clothes. Its .50 for 3 min in the dryers. And the machines only take either debit card or laundry card..... so the only 1 or 2 things that were good, doesn't out weigh the bad. 2 stars from me.

  • Jake Kronquist

Nicest laundromat I’ve been to in the SEA area.. All washers and dryers accept card & tap-to-pay. Prices are reasonable. Machines were clean and plenty were available in different sizes. $4.25 for smallest washer, $5.75 for medium, and $7.25 for the largest regardless of wash temp. Can tell the owners take pride and keep the place in great working order none of the machines were out of service!

  • Jason Schlosser

Convenient and affordable extremely clean and incredibly easy and fast laundry facilities. Minimal detergent and other options but easily and convenient to access . Location and local activities and restaurants listed and available and well worth visiting. Owners are local and amazing supporters of the community, making the neighborhood worth looking into becoming a part of.

  • Jonn J

Very grateful that they were open on Christmas Day, but I really wish "card operated" was in big bold letters on their door because if I hadn't brought my debit card I would have been screwed. Their loyalty card machine which turns cash into a little card was broken and could only do reloads. The machines are all very clean though, no mildew or mold smells.

  • Timothy Craven

The place is super clean, there’s 14 washers and dryers so you likely won’t have to wait! You can also make the wash machines sanitize themselves for free before you wash you clothes (it’s the last cycle option)! Pretty great place! Note that you can’t pay with coins, but you can very easily pay with a debit card or get a loyalty card and load it with cash!

  • Amy Milbert

This used to be such a great laundry spot. Now it's usually dirty, dryers malfunction and machines overcharge, and tonight as an added bonus, staff was exceptionally rude. Seems the closer was upset that someone started their wash late so they went customer to customer to find out who and chew them out. My last time here, for sure.

  • Robert Knoll

If you are drying clothes, be prepared to stand next to the dryers for the duration of drying time. These can’t go more than two minutes without a “vacuum error” meaning if you want to get coffee or do some work you can forget it. My most recent trip drying a ruggable I had to re start it six times. Go somewhere else.

  • Dustin Yansberg

Machines are fast and have great capacity. I was able to wash and dry in 1 hour the amount of clothes that would usually take me a whole day. They don't have a ton of washers though -- maybe 15 of them -- and the place overall is quite small, so do anticipate being generous with sharing your personal space.

  • Alexandria Bodas

Such a nice laundromat, always clean with plenty of high-efficiency machines. It is a little narrow at the end with the larger machines, so it can feel a little crowded with three or more people but it's not too bad. The laundromat is located next to Cafe Javasti so you can grab a coffee while you wait.

  • Chandell Sy L.

DO NOT come here, if you don't/can't use POWDERED detergent. Their washing machines say you can use liquid for the pre-wash, but the main wash is POWDERED ONLY in all caps. Also a lady lost several dollars to the machine, as it decided it didn't take quarters, anymore, and no refunds.

  • Daniel Lagerstedt

Electrolux washers really wring water out of clothes. Saves time. They clean clothes good. A little pricier than others. Signs saying there is more parking behind building, and to select heat, then time, then tap card and don't overfill for the dryer would've been helpful.

  • Stone Hobson

Another great experience here. Newer machines that clean my dirty construction clothes as clean as they can be and spin them mostly dry. Dryers take very little time. Just enough elbow room and folding area for a smaller place. In and out so quick which is always helpful.

  • Caroline Daniel

Our house is under construction and we don’t have a washer and dryer right now. I was so nervous about going to a laundromat but it’s amazing! So much faster than at home. I love hanging out at javvisti coffee shop next door. Super clean and quiet atmosphere.

  • Ben Flaster

Laid out like a gauntlet, people are constantly bumping into each other. Machines controls are confusing, working together nobody was able to purchase extra rinse, card system discharged a woman's cards in front of us without giving service for the balance

  • Sunrise

Amazing laundry mat. Not confusing like others I’ve been to and washers /dryers are in all in neat line with plenty of space. I’m glad they have the option to pay with a card as most people don’t carry cash around. I wish it was closer to where I live

  • Ethan Gordon

I'll be honest, it's a bit on the pricey side at $5.25 for a medium load with no frills. Keep in mind that this is unattended, though I went shopping for 26min with no issues at all. Overall, good in a pinch (e.g. if you're washer is broken at home).

  • Dana Morningstar

Really nice machines that do an excellent job of cleaning thoroughly and drying quickly. Prices per load are very reasonable and you can pay with card for all machines. If you have to, this is a great place for washing your clothes.

  • Kim Dang

Great laundromat. All credit card operated - which is highly convenient. Only wish it had a few more industrial sized washing machines. There are only two and on weekends you gotta get lucky and be stealth to get in your turn.

  • Blair Guillen

great little laundromat, super clean and really nice. all machines are card operated which is great. Only issue was one of the large dryers kept giving us an error message, but once it worked it was very quick to dry

  • Austin

Clean, functioning, large capacity washers and dryers with card readers. You might pay a little more here (not that much) than other laundromats, but this place is about as good as a laundromat can possibly ever get.

  • Sarah Bray

As a first time user at a laundry mat , place was clean, wasn’t over crowed for a Friday afternoon fast and easy, decent parking , lighting is nice, not enough seating or bathroom but over all decent.

  • Toria

Clean and efficient. Nice area for folding clothes. Parking is convenient. It's a smaller space, so I suggest avoiding busy times (like weekends and evenings) for social distancing purposes.

  • David Rahfeldt

Stupidly expensive...two leads and one dryer ended up costing 15 bucks ...new gear but tiny washers ... nice enough and clean ... unless you are desperate ...this just is too expensive

  • Eric Munsen

Great laundromat. Machines always in working order when I visit. Can be busy at times if you need 1 of 2 large front loaders for comforters. Great coffee, florist/gifts next door too

  • Michael Christiani

Oh my God this is a small laundromat but my clothes got extra super clean and it's a nice area I like the Wedgewood area thanks Wedgewood laundry Matt I'll come back here again

  • Suzuki King

This is hands down probably one of the best laundromats in Washington. The machines are new and efficient and I don't think ive been in a laundromat as clean as this one!

  • Paul Li

Great experiences with Wedgwood. It takes less than 60 mins to clean & dry a small load. Cafe next door is good place to have a coffee while waiting for laundry & dry.

  • Nikky Hill

It's a little pricey compared to other laundromats I've been to but everything is clean and well maintained and I had no issues with getting a large load done.

  • joshua c

Convenient parking, machines are clean/work well, multiple nearby options to chill while waiting for your laundry. This is my favorite laundromat in the city

  • google account

none of the 28 machines take quarters or cash at all. gone SO downhill. all the machines charge a TON and only take app or chip. go literally anywhere else.

  • David Bush

Cute and very clean, small laundromat. I love that the machines do not require quarters but take a variety of cards. Easy parking is available too.

  • Robin B

nice laundry but dryer are not good. Took me multiple times to attempt to dry. Still not dry , had to take my 2 loads of laundry home and hang dry

  • Oleg C

Nice and clean. It was open even during snow storm. Snacks here are for free. The only feedback: there are no outlets for the phone charge.

  • Stephen Thomas

Clean nice quick laundry mat. Whit a good coffice bar right next door with food if you need a snack.i love both places five stars for both.

  • Cherie Moore

You get no water in your washer and thats half full of clothes. I pay to much to leave with dirty clothes.

  • Randy Dante

Fast! Not so cheap though. But to do 1 load took me 37 minutes. 12 minute dry time was amazing.

  • Bradford Fults

Simple, clean, big enough with enough machines, and everything worked. What more can you ask?

  • Rick Nielsen

New machines in a clean and comfortable space. It's my favorite place to do laundry.

  • Larry Cole

Clean, well organized. Fellow users were friendly and helpful. Not too crowded.
