Update owner promptly responded to my review. Unfortunately I don't think he read review as he address card issue only. Which I did not use and failed to address my real issue of change machine giving quarters or machine in bay giving change. To owner please read review before u print standard answer to common customer complaint u won't fix. U "could have" a great carwash with minor fixes and actually read all of the review I think would be a great car wash. Have all the supplies u need in vending form. U can use credit debit card or cash bills or quarters or tokens. Only problem was they put $12 hold on cards no matter what u use and reviews said people got charged for time not used. And change machine only give tokens not quarters. And each bay takes bills or quarters or token but no change given. I only had 2 $20 bills. So I left and got quarters will go back tomorrow. I want to know how much I'm spending and not waste money on tokens if I don't return. A regular laundromat change machine that gives quarters would help the business!!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Came in to wash our 2 Medium dogs (1 Pit 1 Husky). Right side we tried had barely any water coming out of it. Read a review mentioning one side had a stronger water hose pressure than the other, so we paid to try the other side, which still flowed out extremely slow. After finally doing our best to wash off all the shampoo on our dogs, we switched the setting over to dry with nothing happening. BOTH gentle and super dry did nothing, didn't work. Soon after my Gf found out her card got double charged for a transaction she canceled prior to the first washing timer starting. At this point, we were already 30 dollars deep with 2 wet dogs still. We weren't trying to gamble $10 more on the other dryer not working either, so we left home with 2 Soaking Wet Dogs in our backseats Tried emailing the Owner prior to leaving this review with no avail. I STRONGLY DONT recommend you come to this location.
Weiss Guys has restored my faith in a business doing the right thing. I was going to wash my car only to find out that the sprayer in the bay was broken and spraying soapy water everywhere. It was a Sunday, and I called Weiss Guys to let them know about the broken bay. I really didn’t expect to hear back from them and sure didn’t expect to get a refund. I went on to wash my car in the next available bay. The following Monday morning I got a call from Weiss Guys apologizing for the malfunctioning wash bay. Not only did they offer to reimburse me for that, but they also reimbursed me for the wash in the neighboring bay, and sent me a coupon for a free wash. I was so pleasantly surprised by their amazing customer service. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a business step up and take responsibility, and by doing so they’ve scored a loyal customer. Thanks Weiss Guys!
Been Living in the Area for 6+ years. Great Service but the Location is BAD. Homeless people everywhere, Littering and Loitering the Area. Making the Car Wash Look BAD. And when someone Addresses anything, Worker (Hispanic) who are picking up after the homless/Trash stepped in and Tried to defend him even though it wasnt on the Car Wash Property, It was at Circle K.. After said and Done, The Weiss Guys Worker lets him Bum at the Car Wash. Smh Not so very Weiss. RE EVALUATE YOUR WORKERS!!!!!!!!! 1 Star Rating. Please becareful while ur here everyone !!!! By the Way the Workers Catch a Big Attitude wen u park at thier Car Wash while ur going inside of Circle K but The Nerve of the workers to jump in someone else's business HAPPENING at Circle K. .. Not so very intelligent.
I like this self car wash, it’s also a dog wash and vacuum center. It can feel sketchy late night being next to a laundrymat, circle k, and smoke shop, though it’s in a decent area, often it’s dirty and understandably so, they have updated card readers so it’s not necessary to have coins, it does require 3 dollars minimum, and has a bill to coin exchange machine but I found out the hard way it only gives coins redeemable to the car wash itself, the vacuums are decent, sometimes there’s one that doesn’t work well, they are usually taped over areas that are falling apart, honestly idk why I even like this place now that I kinda pick it apart, I guess I’ve never had a terrible experience, and always felt like all the inconveniences were pretty understandable.
So this could haven been a 4 star review. However, I'm very disappointed with this self service dog wash. The water was nice and warm and the shampoo worked well and did a good job with our pooch. The area was well kept. There really is no difference with the dryer and super dryer. But BEWARE, the timer must be closely watched. There should be a beep like most self serve car washes to let you know time is about to run out. However, it does not and we ran over the 10 minute for the advertised $9 charge by 23 seconds and my card was charged $18, as if I used this service for 20 minutes.
Took my dog for the wash water was ice cold. Waited 6:36 min and still freezing cold. I told the attendant he tries to reset it and said they had reported it. he gave me credit for - few min but water got warm after resetting it but for a min the turned freezing again. While it was warm I had wet my dog but when I felt the soapless cold water I stopped immediately and tried to dry him. Needless to say the dryer is freezing cold as well. Put an out of order sign! Don’t waste your money folks. Thanks to the attendants for trying. Waste of $9! I do not recommend.
Unfortunately disappointed in this experience. The self-wash was great, cost me just under $12 and my car was cleaner than when I take it to a place where five people wash my car. The dry hose in my terminal was broken, the hose was cracked and there was no pressure. The vacuum was not "Free Unlimited Vacuum" as advertised on the website, it cost by the four minute interval and was coin only. Just overall not a great experience. I do not like writing negative reviews, but this location gave a negative experience.
First time dog wash user. Great experience thanks to Keith and Danny. I wish I would have taken a picture of Huckleberry in the tub behaving so nicely. I will bring my own towels next time but the dryers produced cool air and in this heat, my boy don't seem to mind:) Loved the enclosed extra large pens around the two tubs. So happy Keith told me to shut off the wash when done so I don't get charged more than 20 bucks for extra time. Glad I came during the week when not busy so I didn't feel rushed.
Great neighborhood car wash, use it about once a month. Right next to a circle k so you can grab a drink and a snack for after the wash . Usually has a person staffed working on site which is always a plus in case a machine goes down. Has 5 wash spot and a dog wash area. Change machine, each wash spot takes coins, dollars and cards. Also has covered vacuum area. Cost is $3 for wash,$1 for vacuum. Only missing 1 star because it could be updated but overall a good car wash.
The engine degreaser took down 26 years of build up like NOTHING! Best of all, I didn't have to keep running back to feed more quarters in the machine (via the credit card option)...though the coin slot is there in tandem if you're into that kind of thang. Beware though...it ran two times but capped out at $12 each. That's still MUCH cheaper than having a shop clean my engine! Their friendly staff was accommodating as well. I would highly recommend this place!
The building sports bold signs saying they are newly renovated and accept credit cards, but none of my credit cards worked in any of the machines I've tried, and the building is anything but newly renovated. To top it off, while I took a short walk to the Circle K 100 feet away to get change, the roof leaked thick pink soap on one side of my just washed car. Bring cash. Don't expect the machines to work in a pinch. I'll be going elsewhere for regular washes.
I agree with Edgar Muro below.....After trying a few other full service / semi service car washes in the immediate area, I found the quality of those car washes lacking in many ways. Then I discovered Weiss Guys. For a very reasonable price my car comes out cleaner and detailed each time. I really like the foam brush and the tri color wax. Bring a dry towel and any other interior finishes of your own to leave happy each time. Probably heading there tonight.
Very convenient self serve car wash. Has all the gadgets you need to really clean your car. Each booth is equipped with a Credit/Debit card reader so you don't have to carry/use cash. But they do have a coin changer - but will only give you $1 coins that are only for the car wash and its vending machines. The do accept quarters as well. Also its right next to a convenience store, which is a "convenience". sorry I couldn't resist the pun. Enjoy!
Great dog wash my only complaint is when I pressed stop on the dog wash at 8:50 it continued on for a 30 second final countdown and I was charged $18 instead of $9 for time I didn't get to use but the water pressure was great and the soap really got in there to remove all the gunk and loose fur, only advice for ppl is to press stop on the machine at the 8:30 mark if you don't want to be charged for time you didn't get to use
I usually wash my car here. Fair priced. The machine got stuck in processing after sliding my card and I have been chard 24 dollars for a wash I never got to use. I have left two voicemails and have called several times. Update: They were on holiday. They reached back out handled the situation accordingly which is great because I love their washing bays. Will continue to go back.
Can you put a freaking "start wash" confirmation on the panel instead of just starting the timer IMMEDIATELY when you tap your card? The stop function cancels the whole action apparently and charges you three bucks for 10 seconds of "use". I'd be a huge advocate of this place and was hoping I could come here a lot...just make it so you're not actively trying to "steal time"....
I have used the 12th street location twice.. The first time it hit my CC twice for one $9 Dog wash. ($18) The second time I learned the car wash machine doesn't stop by itself.. So I authorized $3 and at 8 minutes I noticed how the time had flew. So I hit STOP at $7.20. When I checked my bank I saw that I had been charged $12... I will never plug my CC in there again.
The most clean and friendly self serve car wash!! They have an amazing staff to help out with anything you need. Their dog wash is incredible as well. Highly recommend coming to this location to feel extremely safe. Their General Manager Tiger was knowledgeable and friendly with any and all questions. They really care about their customers!! Great job!!
Too little water pressure when using any of the pre-treat settings - it just kind of dribbled out - and MINIMAL amount of soap in the soap setting. You can basically do better with your garden hose. And - $3 for 3 minutes??? You can plan on spending upwards of $15. For that, you can go to one of the automated places, and have a lot less to deal with.
Very clean and friendly facility! I go weekly and use the credit card machines, located inside each bay. No more rushing around trying to beat the clock (they also accept quarters). Plenty of shade to detail your car and the vacuums are incredibly strong. I'm a car enthusiasts and I highly recommend this place to anyone that also loves their vehicle!
Good place to wash your car and vacuum it out. I liked the debit card reader in the bays verses having to get a handful of quarters and plunk them in as the timer counted down. Be sure when you're done using the wash bay be sure to touch "STOP" on the card reader to avoid any additional time charged to your card.
Over all a good place, however as I was detailing my car after spending $15.00 to wash the car, the wash attendant that worked there decided it was a good idea to clean out the vacuum bag that my clean car was parked at being dried and finished up while throwing dirt and dust around while emptying his vacuum bag.
The dog wash bays were nice and clean, but the left bay’s dryer was broken and the right bay barely pushed out any soap and the dryer pushes out cold air. I have a short-haired pit bull mix and I spent almost 15 minutes drying him before giving up and just going home wet. Definitely not coming back here again.
I guess this is the norm here in Phoenix but you only get about 2 and a half minutes for $3. Back home in Texas you can wash for almost 5 minutes straight for $3. Weiss needs to add more time to the wash. Makes no sense to spend more here than at a drive in car wash and still not have the time to even rinse.
This is a bad place. I used my card here and only wanted it to charge me $3 but after I was done and looked at my account balance I saw they charged me $12 twice. So they took $24 from and when I only wanted to pay $8. And also I followed the directions and only went long enough for it to be $8. Horrible.
Lots of loitering at this location. At one point I watched a person jump the wall into a residential area. Shortly they returned, proceeded to clean themself in the dog wash with another person, and continued to loiter in the parking lot. They were clearly very intoxicated - not a safe place.
Great place! Car wash has all the regular self service stuff plus blow dryer and a self service tire shine. Vacuums work well. Place was super clean. I especially likes the self service dog wash. Being able to pay with card was super convenient for me. Bright LED lights at night too.
Location is sketchy for sure because of the area of town its located. . however they have up-to-date tools and liquids that are dispensed from the bays... Other than that I would say ladies I would not go alone at night ... Also the change machine gives quarters ... Score !!
It’s fairly clean.. and nice to have dog wash station. I love animals. But, no soap coming out power wash. Water is cold. I’d like a credit.. for something not received. checking for other places. Thank You. They contacted me and resolved the issue. Thank You
I like this place because they have foam cannons, but they have never worked properly... They cycle through foam colors and every time I use it there is at least one color that doesn't come out right or at all, so you have to wait until it cycles to the next.
Pros: Taller car wash (9 feet 10inches) which is required for high roof wandervans. Cons: no free vacuum and it did not give an option to print a receipt for car wash. I was told to call them to obtain receipts which is not ideal for regular car washing.
This was the most exciting car wash I have ever done. They have a disco foam sprayer so it's just like a mini rave. The hot wax is all the rage and ooh baby let me tell you about that spotless rinse. Mmm, mmm, mmmm. And oh do those vacuums suck, mmhmm.
Quick place to manually wash your car, they take credit cards and there is a cash machine to convert to tokens. In an awkward neighborhood, you'll get pan-handled if you wash your car at night. They have a stall for washing both your RV and your dog!
2 dog wash stations, quite clean and in good maintenance. One side is high water pressure, we prefer the gentle for our fur friends. 10 minutes 10 bucks. No bad. Yes it still pricy nevertheless kind of affordable. As a family activity is awesome.
Vacuums are horrible. I've wasted my money trying at leas 3 different ones on different days. They all are crummy. In fact hardly will suck up crumbs. They just take people's money all day. Not cool. Obviously they need to be upgraded .
This car was useless for me it cost me 10$ first I had added 6$ then time ran out and I hadn't even gotten done rinsing my truck the dryer didnt even give me enough time to dry the entire truck...sorry I will not be returning back
Dirty. Poorly maintained. Brings the neighborhood down. Loud cars playing their system late into the night, but no one to answers their phones to deal with the issue to help the neighbors. Very frustrating and disappointing.
So sad hoped this would be good to maintain my new 2017 car but all it left was water marks which I spent 45 min cleaning at home . Plenty of places that offer this cheaper with people that hand dry it. Blower didn’t work.
Great location and lighting in car wash. But please upgrade your vacuum to dry cars with higher quality. And replace brushes. If you make these simple changes and invest in your car wash it will drive more customer.
It could definitely be better. It definitely feels like you dont get the full amount of time you pay for. But it's whatever I guess. I've been going weekly for few months and still go there when I am in the area.
It's a self spray wash, 2 stars because the low power sprays are REALLY low power. It'll take you 10+ minutes to spot free rinse a small car. If you don't spot free, be ready for spots. Lots and lots of spots.
This is my favorite car wash. I even made a place on Facebook to tag myself in, Sue's favorite car wash". The best parts are they accept credit cards, they have an air dryer and a shampoo brush for upholstery.
Dirty. Still owe me ten dollars from like five years ago. Over-priced. And the worst is all the rift raft casing your car and it's belongings and having them approach me every ten minutes asking for handouts.
It took my money in two different wash areas and then the third one I got my 3 1/2 minutes and try to fill up more money and it just kept putting the money back out at me and the air dryers here are horrible
This is the worst carwash ever! Don't waste your time or your money! The machines dont work but they keep your money & have no out of order signs on them. Its dirty. No attendant on duty. Dont go here.
Avoid bay 3 until owner fixes leak. De-greaser leaks from the ceiling on the car..Owner was advised and refunded and credited my wash..but I was late to work since I had to wash my car twice.
Clean, everything works. I wish the cycle would last longer, but that's true of all self-service car washes. I drive over 6 miles from my house and past other facilities to wash my car here.
Very hard to find a good manual car wash!!! They even have an rv stall for bigger vehicles!!! Circle K next door for anything while washing your car!! My favorite location to wash my f650
Vacuums don't work too well. Remodeled sign is false advertising. This place has debit card machine for over 2 years. Nothing has been updated but the water and ice machine. Come on now!
Small yet it has everything I need. I have basic car needs and I like washing my car myself. They have good vacuums, not bad pricing either. Neighborhood spot. Right next to Circle K.
Spot free rinse comes out at about 1/2 Gallon a minute. Prices went up and water pressures went down. Too bad. Love washing my truck myself. Just won’t be at this self serve car wash.
Average car wash. Half the time the machine doesnt take my card and i have to move to another stall. And the spot free rinse pressure is pathetic compared to other pressure washers.
I love it. Very clean everything always works and they have a place to wash your dog as well as big RVs are bigger checks I definitely recommend prices are great you can't go wrong
Me and my husband come here all the time to wash our vehicles. We like how quick, easy & cheap it is. Bays take credit cards but vacuums don't -- be sure to bring cash for that.
Dog wash is genius! Leaves my Pit bull soft and shiny, along with his healthy diet. Dog wash does not make him itch or dry his skin. Highly recommend washing you for baby here.
It sucks that you need to pay 3 dollars so you can use it. $5 gives you 5 min and some seconds. The one we used the hose was torn and it wasn't rinsing well cuz of the tear
Love it. I drive a huge sprinter van for work and it fit in the extra bay off to the side perfectly. I've used it many times already and use it whenever I'm in the area.
Pretty decent car wash, stall 5 has issues with the card reader but stall 4 was fine with my card. Until that gets fixed, just avoid stall 5 if you are paying by card.
I went there at night and felt safe I love how it updated they even got a place to was your dog how cool is that but the spray machine that spray the smell good suck.
How much could you like a car wash? This self-serve is kept up nicely and the equipment is maintained and always works, but I would never give a car wash 5 stars.
Nice location had to wash the rv and there was room for it and equipment worked great and I only spent 25 bucks on a 34 ft rv can't complain about that at all.
Put a lovely little place clean everything pretty much works next to a smoke shop and Circle K. What more can a person ask for oh yes, quarters not tokens.
They changed their pricing and the timing to pass through the wash has shortened and the blower at the end doesn't get the car as dry as it used to.
Nothing works. The vacuums don't suck and there's no pressure in the in the pressure washers. I had to take my car somewhere else and wash it again.
Easy access. Great place for a quick Self car wash. Forgot to mention...there's a dog wash here too. Haven't used it yet but will in next few days.
Some of its card machines don’t work properly and over charge you. On top of that they require a larger deposit if you use a card. Not recommended.
Self Serve wash, tidy and neat. Has water available to clean the inside your vehicle. No free vac. Has air freshener spray and a dog wash stall.
I like this carwash.everything works good when im there plenty of room to dry and detail.you can use your ccard so u don't run outta quarters.
Shampooer wasn’t working, paid with cash but attendant wanted to give me tokens as refund. Will just go to a full service car wash instead.
Great self service wand car wash with trouble free token change machines, softer water and excellent soap and spray finish protecting wax
Good for giving my dog a wash in the dog wash bay just yucky could use a good scrubbing down... but 7bucks for 2 dogs and 10 plus minutes
Good place to wash your car. Much cheaper and does a better job than any drive thru. Just requires a little bit of your own elbow grease
This is the absolute best place to wash your vehicle on your own. Let's face it, if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself!!
Always a worthwhile stop. Lots to offer, more than most self-serve carwashes. I used their wax spray yesterday. My car got really shiny!
Needed a place I could wash my car and have my kayak j bar on top. This was perfect. Employees here were very helpful and super friendly
I love to run over when I need a quick wash for car, wish the vacuums where free :( otherwise reasonable water pressure and good soap.
Nice place now I got a clean car also a clean dog too since they have a do it yourself dog wash. Pretty cool I would say myself
Took my 4lb Applehead Chihuahua here, great experience. Everything worked great, will keep coming back here for my dogs wash.
The Credit Card reader is always broken! There are bums always sitting right outside. This place is a hit or miss place.
Great place to get your car washed! Staff is amazing and welcoming and awesome features for a do-it-yourself car wash!
I enjoyed the place and I will continue to go there from now on that is the best place to wash your dog in the car too
Eh. Basic car wash. Wish they'd add a credit card processor for vacuums (circle k will not give cash back in quarters)
The coin op wash cheats. The dial says off but u have to hit a second button for it to stop charging ur card. RIP OFF
paid 12$ for wash that took no more than 5 mins and half of the machines (dryer and foam brush) were barely working.
Easy to get in and out. We like all the accessories they have. The car drier is cool, and the soap gun was cool too.
Clean and all the bays work with vacuums and trash cans at the drying stations this coin operated car wash is great.
Charged my card $12 for a 4min wash.. ■ Update. It was an pre authorization charge. The correct amount was debited.
I loved this car wash. I would take my Tacoma here for years. I moved away and I miss having this place around!
The place is great! Anytime I've been there it's been clean and all the machines work and plenty of room
I come here all the time. It’s a great wash. Just don’t go too early in the morning or late at night.
Why cant i wash my car without a bum coming up to me with some crazy story and how he needs a dollar?
Nice d.i.y car wash clean facility and everthing works and no loosing change in the machines either!
Awesome place to wash larger vehicles, and takes card payments. My new wash spot for the work van!
Normal, self-serve car wash. Worked for me as expected. I'm glad that they accept credit cards.
Easy in, easy out. Vending machine was broken and ate my quarter, but the wash bay worked fine.
The best idea ever!! Water pressure is good and it's simple to use while wrestling with a dog
The last of the DIY car washes, very well maintained and even has a doggie wash bay for Fido.
Really nice family owned car wash. Wonderful service & prices. My car never looked sharper!
I kept having to swipe my credit card. Final cost was $36 for 12 minutes. Never going back!
