"My go to place when doing most things around city centre"
"The site is poor and parking is horrendous"
Visited this car park today. The machine was cash only. No sign to say it was not working properly. It would not accept a debit or credit card. The contactless was not working either. On both machines. We Only had £4 in change for 5 hrs. We were staying all day so i took the number and site number to ring later in the day to pay for further parking. When i rang the number on the sign the answerphone said it did not recognise my phone number I tried on another phone same result and a third phone same result. So we cut short our visit to save getting a fine. This is a totaly unacceptable service. As it advertises paying by phone as well as card payments.
PayByPhone app had signed a lot of people out this morning. Machine in car park had a coin jammed, not that I had enough coins to pay. Who carries loads of coins around any more? No option to pay by card at machine. Payment by phone call didn't work, unable to set a PIN as it takes me round in a loop, service is not user friendly. A colleague was still signed in so managed to pay eventually. Made me late for work. RingGo was better than this rubbish!
may be a temporary issue but a gang or individual is currently targeting this car park to break into cars. Lots (in excess of 10 instances) of glass on the floor, instances of break ins happening in daylight hours, little to no CCTV coverage. Might be good to give it a skip in the short term until this individual or gang is apprehended. Shame the smaller local car parks that were manned have now been all built on!
My go to place when doing most things around city centre. The price is reasonable, however the pay point doesn’t accept card payments- only cash. Can use the RingGo app to pay which is convenient but charges an extra 15p on top. The other issue is parking in this place is limited at rush hour. I struggled to find parking if I came at 9-10am. Earlier or later seemed fine.
The site is poor and parking is horrendous. The parking attendants are quick to slap fines on you even regardless of pay machines not working. You’re going to struggle if you don’t use the online app or the number to call and pay (which I may add is not clearly sign posted) Awful place to park only stay if you’re absolutely desperate for parking.
Parkmobile location: 24319 (as of September 2017) Lots of spaces, but finding your way in can be a nightmare. Though it's incredibly central (only a 5-10 minute walk). The parking meter requires you enter your car registration - except it's a numeric keypad, so I would suggest using the Parkmobile phone app.
Difficult to find, you have to get there around 8am to get a place, payment not easy. App didn't work. In fact one day I had to pay twice, as the first payment was pending. In the end one of these payments wasn't processed. I found it on the whole something to be endured rather than enjoyed sadly.
Two pay points, both out of order. Phone line number had no one to answer to call. I spotted 3 Parking fines on windscreens of other cars so clearly have someone to walk round checking, but they have not tried to make it simple/easy to pay. Felt like a cash-trap
Drove in, seen 2 cars straight away with smashed windows, couldn't get in one bay because the amount of shattered glass on the floor. Went to the pay machine seen another car with window smashed, older woman stood there and pointed more
My car was broken into at this car park in April Friday through to Saturday morning. Thieves targeting radio systems using a chisel to pop the window. Lowlife scum. The parking attendant said it was common. Would never park here again.
Not a bad car park but completely disagree with charging a fee for using a digital pay method. We didn't have to pay extra for maintenance of the machines (which has stopped too as they didn't work) so why the extra charge?
Being targeted for theft. Car was broken into two weeks ago at Burley Road Car park, and today it was hit again at West Street. Glass dotted about other spaces at both as well. No security, no CCTV. Be aware.
Removed facility for card/mobile payment so now coins only. Who carries around a bagful of pound coins?? Also the machine asks for registration when the keypad is numeric only, ridiculous.
Simple to find. Was meeting family in Leeds (my first visit). Barely any cars, not too pricey and free for disabled badge holders. About 15 min walk to city centre
Bank holiday parking - Payment not accepted via app, only cash accepted and only coins accepted. Didn't have £5.20 in coins on me so had to go elsewhere in a rush
Like this car park. Saves some of the hassle of going into town and it’s only a 10 minute walk before you’re there. Decent price and can use an app
Handy location for a trip to the city and a reasonable price considering its only a 15 minutes walk to the centre also its free for the disabled
About par for the price of car parks but decent enough. Easy to get in and out and not too far away from the centre. Always spaces available
Always plenty of spaces. For those that don't mind a 10 minute walk into the city, best car park just off M621
Expensive but you can pay on your phone. And definitely one of the cheaper car parks round Newcastle.
20 minutes walk from the First Direct Arena, not to busy, close to the city centre. Recommended!
Easy to get to from A58. Cheap on Sunday £2 for 4 hours. Uncovered car park bright open space.
One of the cheaper car parks if you book in advance through just park. Car gets dirty though.
Best get early as although hundreds spaces soon go , it good as only 10 min walk from city
Excellent for parking & prices are reasonable regarding I use my parkmobile its brilliant
Used this car park when we visited Leeds. Lovely little car park out the way of the city
Decently priced car park for weekdays and close to Wellington Street offices.
Good location, usually plenty of spaces and 24 hour access. No CCTV however.
3 tickets in 5 days whilst using this car park using Your Parking Space.
Handy for parking, bit pricey but then it is close to the centre
Easily accessable, plenty of spaces and charges reasonable
Cheap enough. Nice open space. Easy access to city centre
One of the best but use the parking app not the mashine
Good car parking location for Leeds city centre.
Good price for car parking in Leeds
Nice and very comfortable car park
Cheap parking. Good location
Cars always get broken into
Always ,no spaces
