The restoration of this area where the West Village Shopping Precinct now sits is just a breath of fresh air. They’ve provided a rich community space that I’m sure locals love to go! A vibrant destination indeed, catering to a diverse target demographic, from families to young professionals, offering a mix of retail, dining, and entertainment experiences. One issue I’ve found was in the underground parking, there aren’t any designated walkways to get to the shopping entrance which can make it difficult and somewhat unsafe without pedestrian crossings if you’ve got a pram and young kids. Besides that, this place feels like a modern urban oasis with that beautifully green middle garden that seamlessly blends into the built environment!!! Love it ♥️
West Village is a quaint little shopping area with a great vibe. There's a BWS Liquor store, Woolworths and Harris Farms next to each other. Harris Farms has some great fresh produce and lots of Gluten Free options in fresh Desserts. They have a section in the desserts fridge just for Gluten Free desserts which Coles and Woolies don't have. There are a few restaurants like Anita Gelato, Betty's Burgers, Ichiban Sushi, Kurtoosh, Beirut Bazaar, Cheeky Poke Bar, Italian Street kitchen, Kurtosh, Picnic Cafe, a pharmacy and Doctors clinic. The outdoor seating if it's not raining is really nice especially when the light show starts and the trees light up. The only thing missing are clothes shops therefore I've rated it 4 stars instead of 5.
West Village Shopping Precinct is a delightful fusion of contemporary style and local charm in the heart of Brisbane. Plus our kids love it! This bustling enclave boasts an eclectic mix of boutiques, eateries, and specialty stores that cater to diverse tastes and preferences. The precinct's design, with its open spaces and green pockets, invites visitors to both shop and relax, creating a unique urban oasis vibe. Frequent events and pop-up stalls add a dynamic touch, ensuring every visit offers something new. Whether you're on the hunt for the latest fashion trends, artisanal goods, or simply a cozy spot to enjoy a coffee, West Village delivers. Def worth a visit!
This is my favourite shopping precint in Brisbane. I am practically here every day, and possible walk out spending too much on food There is 2 hour free parking which is fantastic! Located in the village, you will find a pharmacy, bottle shop, boutique gift shops, Harris Farmers markets, a huge Woolworths, Nodo donuts, Optometrist, plant shop and a good choice of restaurants and cafes including an amazing Japanese restaurant and Gelataria! As you walk outside there is also a few beauty choices- hair salon, waxing, skin, dermatologist and a newly opened bathhouse! Everything you need in the one area! Maybe I should just move in
This shopping mall is an experience. It's in a block with apartments and people. Plenty of parking underneath. From the moment you ride up escalator with all the dried flowers above you, it just feels like a different space. Woolies and Harris Farm which is amazing shopping but expensive! Always worth alook and guaranteed you will buy something. Outside it has burgers, sushi and some other delights as it meanders down to main street West End. I like to take my partner here as shopping is different and it always feels like an occasion. I recommend.
Terrible planned development. The carpark is a nightmare and 3 lanes turning in and out crossing the footpath means cars are always close to hitting pedestrians. Promised public greenspace to the community but the tiny park area is closed off every fortnight for 'regeneration' with the grass looking destroyed. If this development is as sustainable as it claims the greenspace shouldnt need a complete overhaul every week. Their ongoing construction means mollison st has had one lane completely closed for ages inconveniencing bikes, busses and cars.
Amazing garden in West End. Always well maintained, lots of trees for shade and restaurants in area. Even better that they have 2 hours free parking which I really appreciate. There is a Woolies, the Harris Farm Markets has good sushi and sashimi for a reasonable price in the area ($15). I feel the restaurants outside are a bit expensive for my liking, Anita's always has a line and good flavours. A lot of good seating and tables in area if you get takeaway or a snack from Kurtosh to relax. Overall a great public space for people to gather
The West Village precinct is a lively and dynamic shopping destination, featuring a diverse range of retail shops, supermarkets, and restaurants. It offers a little something for everyone, catering to various tastes and preferences. During weekend evenings, the precinct comes alive with a vibrant atmosphere, as patrons fill the village courtyard, creating a bustling and energetic ambience. Parking available within the West Village Precinct carpark.
It's everything you need in a suburb mall and more! Great restaurants and cafes. Famous Gelato from Sydney. Harris farms with a donut shop and a bakery. Woolies, BWS and a sushi train with Betty's Burgers. And that Italian restaurant. Mamamia. Residents here are spoiled for choice. Also, PICNIC cafe is fantastic. Good service and great food. The village is family friendly with kids activities in the morning. It's pretty good man.
When I first visited Brisbane 5 years ago this entire complex wasn’t here. It was an empty space and I remember that this development was in the works. Wow! They haven’t finished apparently but this West Village shopping centre is quite the place now. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants to entertain everyone. And the gardens they’ve built around the place are beautiful! Great job!
I wish I'd been here earlier during my stay in Brisbane. Nice range of restaurants, has a Harris Farm & Woolies. First 2 hours of parking is free which is very nice. Aesthetically, I like the way it's been designed. The weather wasn't that good today but I imagine on a sunny day it would be a nice place to get food or ice cream. It reminds me of places I'd visit in Sydney.
Great precinct but the gardens really need attention. They seem to have really gone downhill. The grass is almost non-existent now. A few months ago it was great, but seems to have been trampled and never came back. The artwork around the precinct is great. Really great options for cafes and coffee. Not a lot of grab and go lunch options though. Parking is very easy.
I love this whole area; the gardens, atmosphere, shopping, eateries and health precinct. There are amazing grassed areas where you can sit and eat or just people watch!! It feels so natural with lots of birds, etc so you don't think you are in a city at all! Loving it sick!! Hope more suburbs and shopping places follow suite. Highly recommended!!
I live in Harris Farm Markets! Clean, useful and interesting shops with loads of restaurants and even a theatre 2 mins walk away. Try out Bobbi Charles beauty therapy salon and Yamas Greek restaurant, or go to Anna's Banh Mi for a wonderful meal around $10. Grab a coffee from Charlie next door at Ugees. So many wonderful places!
Love this place , lots of good coffee shops and restaurants to hang out alone or with friends. including one of the elite hangouts in the west end area. After going to the gym at Good Life, you can continue shopping grocery at Woolsworth and window Shopping, even though there aren't that many stores, the products are unique .
Life at West Village has been wonderful over the past 6 months. There's such a community focus, the village gardens are absolutely stunning, village staff are all polite & friendly and all the services you could possibly need are at your doorstep. I can't wait to see how the village transforms over the next 6-12 months!
Used to be a favorite goto place with little one as the nursery room is great and handy. Just don’t know why they stopped putting curtains on the corner for moms to breastfeed. It’s soooo awkward when you have to feed bub, got no privacy, as when the outdoor open, everyone walk by could see what’s going on.
The west village centre is such a welcome addition to west end. There are a great variety of places to eat both in the centre or close by and with 2 hours free parking it’s fantastic. Having both Woolworths and Harris farm in the same place is win win - if only coles and Aldi were there too.
West Village is such a beautiful edition to West End. It's great to see the iconic Ice Cream Factory restored, and having such a green, clean and safe park in the heart of West End is fantastic. We have attended many great events in the space as well. A great edition to the area.
What a lovely space! Where architecture and green spaces merge seamlessly into a high end shopping/food precinct. Has everything, fine dining, cafes, mark style delicatessen , clothing and arts. A place for young and old. 2hr free parking and public transport options close by.
Parking is so expensive and no sign of prices before you enter. Worse than that, even when you call for assistance there is no lenience or human understanding for being 1min over, despite spending at multiple vendors in the centre. I’ll be going elsewhere for a while.
Loving the Harris Farm market here. Lots of interesting fresh produce & the colourful fresh flowers at front of the store just so inviting. There's also a good Woolworths store in the precinct & lots of dining venues & a chemist. Also fine wine. A fun place to shop
A vibrant shopping precinct in West End! Surrounded by beautiful landscape, modern and trendy cafes (Kurtosh, Picnic, Anita Gelato), restaurants (Yamas), spa, Harris Farm market and Metro Art. Wish we have more of these in the CBD and surrounding inner city.
Greatest option i could find in West End for ingredients, fresh fruits and markets inside to fill your trolley cart, there's restaurants to choose between Italian/Japanese/Regional food. Beautiful architecture and ambient to give a random walk or dine in.
Judy love have a browse and shop at Harris Farm . The butchers and fishmonger are well competitive in prices and have a great range. Cannot resist the cheese aisle and treat yourself at the Deli. Grab a baguette on the way out and just enjoy yourself
I love this place. It has great stores and the restaurants plus the atmosphere is so nice and relaxing. Anita's gelato is there, which is my favorite gelato shop around Brisbane. Another thing is that it is easy to find parking in the basement.
Our first visit around West Village Shopping Precinct on my birthday 25/01/22, beautiful well maintained manicured area & a few high end shops with cafe's & restaurants close-by. Certainly worth a visit for all ages & close to public transport.
Very new and busy shopping village. Alfresco dinning, woolworths, Harris farm market etc. The best part of this place is it’s free parking for the first 2hours, taking the headache out of street parking, in the heart of a busy food district.
Recently built and has good shops. Parking can be very busy but the area and surrounds are vibrant and bustling. Lots of asian restaurants and bars great for a night out. We went to see the Mars installation and was very popular.
A lovely little village-feel spot to enjoy a morning out. Coffee and breakfast perfect. Plus just around corner is a tiny french patisserie (Farine) that sells terrific coffee and pastries, very casual street dining or takeaway.
EV charging stations always occupied by non-ev cars. Multiple emails sent to their car park email address but never a response. Very annoying. We stopped going there and we now go to Montague Markets for our shop and coffee.
Great shopping mall, lots of restaurant to choose from. Not that crowded. Just vist here last month just to buy a cake for my niece birthday. Planning to shop with the fam on the weekend when not busy. Highly recommended!!
Its a very modern precinct. It looks nice and clean. Parking is simple and free for customers. Main issue would be the substantial lack of shops, but that seems likely to improve once the latest building is finished.
Lively shops and dining spots provide charming outdoor nooks to relish your food. The weekend buzzes with popularity, partly due to the convenient presence of Harris Farm and Woolworths within the premises.
Great place to get all your fresh fruits and vegetables & Deli delights A magnificent building pit to great use . Worth a visit for coffee, treats restaurants & fantastic Icrecreamery. Wow a great day our.
Super posh. Had a lot of good shops, restaurants, and supermarkets. Harris Farms is well posh but has an excellent range of high quality hard to get items. The Turkish bakery smells as good as it looks.
This place is bougie af... Especially after coming back to West End after 20 years and seeing how it's changed. Great supermarkets, great cafes and restaurants and even better, a Nodo outlet.
Beautiful place and love the concept where there is a park in the centre and surrounded with cafes, restaurants and dessert places. Simply beautiful. Lots of people bringing dogs their dogs too.
Neat n clean, plenty of parking in the basements, few nice restaurants to eat at, Harris Farm market is enormous. Woolies here has Scan n Go facility along with conventional check-out methods.
bustling shopping metropolis that exudes a boojie and tranquil feel. has a variety of conveniences, shops, event spaces and eateries.always something interesting to find at west village.
A few great places to eat and grab a snack. Having late night Woolies and the market is a bonus as well. New, clean and tidy and am looking forward to more restaurant/cafes opening.
Really funky and cool shopping and eatery complex. Easy and free 2 hours parking. Clean amenities; especially the disabled toilet and parent’s rooms. Loved the outdoor grassy areas.
Very handy and convenience shopping area. It has Asian groceries store, Woolworth supermarket, chemist and cafe. Many restaurants nearby and have many car parks in the park area.
I came here for Museum of the moon. The staff took really nice photo for me☺️ When I walking on West Village,I felt so relax and I want to spend my afternoon time at here.
This precinct is coming along nicely, once complete it will be a great think for West End. They do need more seating inside thou, very hard to find a seat and relax.
The architecture is beautiful, thoughtful and surrounded by trees. Every thing you need for all your shopping needs. Smattering of coffee shops, icecream parlour
A very nice little shopping centre that has such character! Not that many shops however the ones they do have fill a very particular niche for the locals.
A beautiful shopping precinct with lovely shops. Also perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner in one of the many eateries. Set among lovely garden areas.
What a lovely space! It's a one stop destination with everything you need, from grocery shopping to a wide variety of restaurants and dessert shops.
Such a lovely little village to visit for a couple of hours. I went to Soak Bath House then had lunch and ice cream. It was such a wonderful time.
Very busy shopping area. Parking can be a problem at times. regularly visit Harris farmers market and Betty's burgers. Both are excellent.
It's not really in "character" with the West End vibe, but hey, it's a shopping centre. Head up Boundary St for the real local experience
Great little shopping area with supermarkets and cafes. Nice park areas too. Its a pity other shopping centres aren't as well designed.
Shopping centre is ok, but pedestrian access via Mollison Street is sketchy. Needs a crossing, didn't feel safe crossing the driveway
It's nice, its open early an there's a good variety of shops. West end is kinda cool but it's better at night when the bars are open.
Great interior and exterior spaces, wide variety of stores, restaurants and facilities. Has provisions for EV parking / charging.
Plenty of places to eat from takeaway to dine in, lattractive garden areas. Nice relaxed vibe about the place even when busy.
A lot of unique shops and even more places to eat. The West Village looks stunning, always. Underground parking is confusing.
Love Harris market a great variety of items from all cultures around the world and so many different foods
Easy for us as it's local. Great place to bring the kids for a few hours. Everything we need and more.
This place is a great hub of culture, arts, diverse foods. Easy to access and fantastic vibe always.
Marvellous conservation work and a new lease of life for historic buildings. Well done Brisbane!
Good collection of food joints, great ambience, convenient location with sufficient parking!
What a hidden treasure in the city, nice to sit in the park and have a coffee with friends
Nice ambience, and lots of places to eat! We specifically go here for Harris Farm market
What a lovely space. Open air cafes, great parking, and the supermarkets . Very handy
Plenty of restaurants to choose from, fair price range, nice atmosphere at night.
Great spot for a bite to eat, a little culinary treat, and to grab the groceries.
Such a vibrant place. Added a new level of liveliness to this part of Westend.
What a great precinct to have in West End. Lovely and shady in summer too.
Lovely restaurants, super relaxed vibe, great green spaces and atmosphere
Really classy shopping village with a heap of different places to eat.
Amazing shopping mall, but few restaurants are below of average
My favourite place is ... great atmosphere like being in Europe
Nice shopping complex with plenty of shopping & eating options
Great little centre with nice restaurants and general shops.
Very nice area. Lots of options and food and gelato as well
Large open shopping and dining area with large area below.
Loved it here, hectic, but awesome. Lots of food outlets
I really like the renovations done to this centre
A busy little shopping village, Nice atmosphere.
Excellent dinning , parking and shoping precinct
Very good shopping centre. Woolworths is good.
Great architecture and shops/dining areas
Nice place with all the shops you need
Really enjoyed my stay here.
