"Large shopping centre with most large retailers"
"The movie finished at midnight"
"on the 21st at around 7i was doing my daily shop here at parramatta"
"Westfield, Parramatta is probably one of the best shopping centres in the local 20 to 30 km radius and is much nicer than Castle Towers or any other shopping centre that I know of locally"
"Bad experience today, could not enjoy our ice cream at level 5 opposite bath and body works"
Large shopping centre with most large retailers. Department stores and a good number of specialty retailers. The car park is unfortunately a little poorly designed and let's the centre down with some entrances leading directly into the back of department stores. I had previously lost my car for around half an hour as I wasn't able to find the entrance to the level I had parked on, I've had a grandparent also do a similar thing, and needed to request security to help her find it (which they kindly did and were able to use the number plate and security cameras to do). Additionally during busy periods can cause grid lock and take a long time to exit. It is however easily accessible via train directly on top of Parramatta station and within walking distance from Parramatta and local surrounding suburbs.
The movie finished at midnight. Took a very long time to exit the car park, there were 10 cars trying to get out but the gates weren't opening and no one picking up the calls on the intercom. We were stuck for 15 - 20mins till we decided to try another way. Another 30mins wasted looking for a valid exit but no luck so I went inside the shops and thankfully I found the security intercom where the security guard was very helpful. The security guard gave me instructions on how to get out. I felt trapped due to my anxiety I thought I had to sleep the night there. I was close to ringing the police for a hostage situation at Westfield's. Thankfully I didn't. Please have night exit signs or something more clearer on how to exit the car park after hours.
on the 21st at around 7i was doing my daily shop here at parramatta. As i was leaving i was talking to a security qaurd who said to me personally if you go over the allocated to park. He would give me and exception as he spoke to us for 30 minutes which made me go over the time. As i was leaving to go though the boom gate i was talking to a LADY at the boom gate and told her what had happened Her response was very rude and very disrespectful i would never want anyone else in The world to go through that very bad customer service. She told me that the security guard was lying. Then she said we had to pay 30$ instead of the 8$ and when i asked her why she said Pay then hung up. Please train your worker before hiring them!
Westfield, Parramatta is probably one of the best shopping centres in the local 20 to 30 km radius and is much nicer than Castle Towers or any other shopping centre that I know of locally. This heaps of options, whether food, lingerie, electronics, or anything else, and honestly, I’d be very surprised if you couldn’t find what you were looking for. Right across the road you have food options on church Street as well which is very very community located and Parramatta Square which is almost literally connected to Westfield and the train station has become a very very nice hub with a beautiful and very updated library that has so many options that you could probably spend an entire day or maybe even a week there.
Bad experience today, could not enjoy our ice cream at level 5 opposite bath and body works..thanks to bunch of local kids who were throwing water, lollies, toys and rubbish on us and also the ice cream shop workers from the level above. They did that 3 times, we had kids with us...we went up to reprimand them and of course out 5 we only caught 2 ,security was informed and warning was given. Apparently they re frequent kids causing the same issue. My question is why westfield security or management is NOT taking any action on them? Waiting for some insightful incident to happen before banning them or reporting them? This happen today 16th Sept between 4pm to 5pm. Ruining the whole Birthday outing for us.
Hope no parents needs to use the parents room near the kids bonds store as there is clearly an issue with this shopping centre where you’ll find girls eating their lunch on the change tables and women having to breastfeed sitting on the floor as people are sitting in the breastfeeding rooms charging their phones and people heating up their stinky lunches in the microwave. Don’t think you’ll have privacy in the breastfeeding rooms either as you’ll have people coming in to ask if they can plug their phone into the power outlets in there. Would not recommend this shopping centre for any parents who may need to use the parents room. Disgusting and never had this problem at another shopping centre
The place is genuinely filled with stores, services and experiences people would seek for gathering, shopping, and in accessing every day needs/wants including culture. I find the weekends and holiday season extra extra busy and crowded so it is highly recommended to reach the place on public transport on these days of a year. I have also personally positive experiences of finding my lost laptop thanks to amazing support staff and guards as well as being guided with evacuations at emergencies (which has not happened for long time now). May be if you’re seeking for a place to do it all at once and if you don’t the crowded atmosphere this would be a great place
My last experience here was really bad. The concierges provided me incomplete information and I was charged a parking fee at the exit gate. The guy on the call was extremely rude. I emailed them that I was unaware and was provided incomplete information about parking but my refund request was also refused. This westfield has the best convenient location. Train and Bus stations are around. You can park for free for 3 hours and 4 hours with mobile app. They have pretty much all stores for shopping. Last time I went it was under renovation around Coles on top floor. This time it is open and also now has Aldi.
The best part of the mall is that you can enter it directly after exiting the train station turnstile, you don't even need to go out to the street. Second best part, the food court is very conveniently placed just after entering with variety of options. The shops too - you have lots of options whether you are looking for branded items or budget items - take your pick. All in all - it is a huge mall and it is impossible to explore the whole mall in a day but it definitely a place where you will enjoy your shopping day or day out !!
One of the nice and convenient mall in Sydney. Love the vibe. Most of the well known shop outlets are there like Myer, David Jones, Target, Kmart , Woolworths etc. Cinemas also here. Best part is lot of Parking from different street and next to Parramatta train station. It is also heart of Parramatta CBD. Level 5 food courts also great for lunch and snacks. Mall is well maintained and clean. All facilities are there , don’t remember found “not working” any of their facility. Like the 4 hours parking free for Westfield App users.
Do not watch a movie here!!! The cinemas are disgusting, seats are aged and uncomfortable, it is in desperate need for renovation. On top of that westfield will charge you obscene rates for parking and refuse to validate tickets after a movie, they have invented a new app that they don’t advertise anywhere and that doesn’t apply to every Westfield… So if you watch Barbenheimer you will get slugged an extra $50, just to park your car and spend money at a westfield. What a way to treat customers… What a joke!
Hello students and fellow public, if anyone wants to save some extra penny in each product, then this is a good FMCG store for kitchen wares, toilet supplies, storage containers, plastic utilities, mats, unbranded goggles, chocolates and many more. Just needs to b careful about the expiry date and any kind of spills... But much cheaper price then any store.... It is located in ground floor. For rest shopping top global brands r all available. Even cineplex is also there for movies.
The quality is above average. Given the place and distance to surrounding suburbs, the centre is quite convincing. The car parking spots are somehow busy with jam. You would find whatever you are after from your mundane shopping list to bunch of entertainment and food options. The car, bank as well as governmental services are handy and time affordable. There are some cafe you will a location to rest around. I found the place quite international than domestic. Thanks
Haven't been to Westfield parra in 2 years. Decided to go out to event cinemas. Watch oppenhiemer (a nearly 4 hour long movie) and came out the gate to be charged 50 dollars! How dare you slug us so much for parking and not even allow the cinema to give us free parking like hoyts or reading cinema does. Won't be coming back at all, will be staying in our local at rouse hill. No wonder I moved further out west, everyone wants something for nothing these days
Parramatta Shopping Centre is a shopper's paradise. With its diverse range of stores, from high-end brands to local boutiques, it offers something for everyone. The modern and spacious layout makes navigating the center a breeze, and the variety of dining options ensures a delightful culinary experience. Whether you're looking for fashion, electronics, or simply a great place to spend the day, Parramatta Shopping Centre has it all under one roof.
Very large shopping centre with heaps of different types of stores, a number of food courts and specialty shops. Plenty of parking spaces available, however parking may be hard to find due to the amount of people visiting Westfields. Conveniently close to public transport. The centre is very clean, modern and well maintained. Good to see Christmas decorations displayed...which are accepted, valued and celebrated by everyone!
It's huge, clean and mant types of shops. I'd personanally like to see clear signs to direct to the parking areas. Secondly, the parking areas need to be broken into sections, not just floor level signs. Getting on to the 3rd floor, for example, it's a lot of time waste in finding one's vehicle, as all the parking areas are huge. Surely a better and simpler method needs to be put into place, especially for senior citizens.
The shops are pretty much all fashion and high end products. Not really a place to buy groceries. It feels like a shopping centre that had outgrown itself but kept being retrofitted. You can't use the lifts as they are constantly full and extremely slow, one is broken and the escalators often break down. The walkways are small and hard get around. Pretty soulless, gentrified and boring.
Very big and well appointed mall in a comfortable location. There is a huge selection of stores for anybody's pocket. Food court and access to cinemas and public transport give it the all around thumbs up. The only thing that's a problem is the very confusing system of directions within the mall. The arrows send you double backing on yourself. But overall, a definite recommend!
This is a nice mall with many levels of great shops, eateries and big stores like Woolworths, Target and Kmart. There is good toilets and parents rooms. It gets really busy here and it’s very popular. I look forward to when the have Coles and Aldi supermarkets. The only downside is that the lift in the centre gets really busy, so I reckon they need more lifts in the place.
Is everyday Security day off? You guys so slow and useless, feel very unsafe everytime we shop here. A lot of ppl say the same, call security for ages and they never come. They let everything turns into a mess then they might come or might not. Happens to me, family and frds. Maybe we are just unlucky. Plz if u guys can not do the job properly, just find another one.
Westfield Parramatta is good place to get anything you need clothes grocery and produce I love the small stores as well as kmart and target you can spend all day without getting bored too many caffe to choose from and they all superb with high quality of food and coffee I love Parramatta Westfield and I encourage everyone to go and enjoy a day of shopping there.
Shops are good but parking is horrible. To get out of parking every Saturday takes more than 30 mins cause a gate is broken or the closed a gate to redirect traffic. Staff make u go round and round the parking saying we have issue with gates. It cannot be very weekend for a major traffic area. Pls fix whatever issues u have with exit gates or don't close gates
Great experience. From groceries to clothing, kids entertainment, event cinema, and lots of eateries are available. Coles, Aldi, Woolworths, H&M, Zara, Tommy Hilfiger, Time zone, Best & Less, Kmart, Target, and several other brands are under one roof. To locate your parked car could be confusing so better to save your location pin to avoid any inconvenience.
Honestly I love coming here it’s one of the biggest shopping centres in the in Australia Do you have anything from Jewellers high-end brands The cater for everybody The parking is really big they have valet service if you’re not bothered going to get your car The cinema is a very big I highly recommend coming to this place if you’re in the area
I love Westfield Parra, it has all stores you need! But I’m still curious how do I access to car park after hours? Cuz I always see boomgate on ground floor or at escalators for upper floor. If I park at 1st floor then went to Kmart, how do I get back to my car? Always fear to go there in the evening, afraid I can’t find my way to my car
Sorry for the management of Westfield in parramatt no seats to sit while my daughter was shopping i had to stand on my feat with bad back till she finished shopping. How is maximizing profit and lowering ur service. By the way elevator and sculptors were not working. Other Westfield are way better. The result ur management sucks.
5 levels of shopping. Some improvements have been made over the years, like the renovated level 5 Coles, Aldi, breadtop, sushi end and the travelator going to the L6 car park from the level 5 food court. However, some popular shops have closed making it less appealing, like Forever New, Bed Bath Table, Sports Girl and Portmans.
Huge shopping centre, the place is so big, u can find everything u need in it, from clothing to accessories, Food to Groceries. Variety of shopping options from personal to home. A number of outlets/stores to choose from. Well maintained, clean and happening place. Easily reachable via train, bus and car. Nice place to visit.
Westfield Parramatta shines as a top-tier shopping and dining destination, offering a wide range of options for visitors. While it excels in many aspects, addressing the cleanliness issues would elevate the overall shopping experience and ensure that the mall continues to be a preferred choice for shoppers in Parramatta.
A huge mall with almost all the brands in it.....This actually connects to the Opal metro here....Its architecture is good and the ambiance looks great....you get all types of stores from budget to luxurious....Not only all brands it has some big supermarket sort of places like Woolworths, Kmart, Coles etc
Exit the Train Station that leads into the Food Court on L1 lower ground. Toilets next to McDonald’s. Escalators & Lifts take you up to the many Brand name shops. Myer, David Jones, Kmart big stores. Drink, Claw machines on ground floor. Nice big lounge chairs. Touch screen directories on most floors.
Should give custoner 3 hrs free parking limit.2 hrs is not enought buyinh y I ur griceries dining with friends.then medical appointment,,and p ersonal sh0pping.being a big mall but 2hrs free parking is not enought i change from westfueld to stickland mall as they offer 3 hrs free parking.
I go there almost every Thursday night. It's one of the most beautiful shopping center I have visited in recent years. All good stores including my favorite cinema under one roof and the best part is their food court. The only negative point is the parking. Parking needs to be bigger.
Love, love, love this place! One of my favourite shopping centres. Conveniently located just next to the station, it's very easy to reach from all over Sydney. Most of the major brands are there and there are many great places to eat. I would give 5 stars if parking is easy to find.
No signs for the deliveries. The ops manager must be a moron. Apparently info boards at the public entrance. Nothing at the loading docks. Nothing in the center of the mall. No signs for what floor you could be on. Only a moron would operate a 'commercial business' I'm this manner.
The best thing about this place is from station I can go to Westfield Directly. So people who is in saraounding subarvs and loves public transport can leverage the facility. Only thing is its huge in size so finding things bit hard if you are not aware of where is the kiosks.
Starbucks is so popular and busy yet their customer service is horrible - some staff members are rude and they're incredibely slow. Adding self service would be better for everyone. The time it takes to order - especially on weekends make it just awful
Very lively place with lots of shops , restaurants movie screens and food courts at two different levels. Lot of places have great discounts as well. Great location and excellent connection to bus and train stations. Most of the shops close by 5.
Perfect place for shopping with ampules of parking and if you are Westfield member 4 hours parking is free , it’s well decorated for Christmas and lots of fun for kids now the 5th floor is open which was under construction and now Aldi is there.
They are five floors high Westfield and the great part about this one is that it is connected to the train station on level one and on level four is connected to a movie theatre. Has a good selection of food shops and other shop as well.
Offers a wide range of stores to choose from, making it a shopper's paradise. The ample parking space was a big plus, and I appreciated the convenience of three hours of free parking. Overall, a great place for shopping and leisure!
One of the biggest shopping centres in Australia has most of the major department stores except Big W. It's good to shop during weekdays, as weekends are extremely busy. Well connected to Parramatta train station and transport hub.
One of the badly built and maintained shopping places in Sydney region - Westfield Parramatta. Atleast one escalator does not work at a time. Worst toilets. Public toilets are better. No proper air conditioning on food courts.
Westfield Parramatta is most clean and organized shopping center that I have been in Australia. I love Woolworths makes my life easy I can get pasta $1 tuna$1. I enjoy Westfield Parramatta less crowded and nice shoppers..
Must be the biggest and best Westfield in Australia..... has everything.. the multiple food courts have all varieties of food. Transport is available in all modes ..and at the door too....I will visit again many times
It was bigger than I expected, to be honest! Half the shops were there and more new shops are there! From make ups, foods and clothing and movies to watch with your friends, family or hehe your secret someone! …
I highly recommend opening a Yo-Chi Frozen Yoghurt store. It would undoubtedly become a go-to spot for workers and students alike to indulge in some delicious, fresh yoghurt, particularly on those scorching hot days.
Very huge shopping center in Parramatta. So many floors and shops, you can easily spend many hours here. On the top floor is big restaurant area, where you can decide what to have for food during the shopping.
Their food court prices are outrageous. Most costliest food in sydney. A kebab plate 20$, butter naan $4.5, laksa $17. Avoid if you can. Harrys park food street is nearby, or just walk around to church st.
Shopping centre itself is fine, but I would suggest putting doors with locks instead of curtains in the parents rooms so other people's children aren't running in while mothers are trying to breastfeed
This place is best but it's little bit confusing for the person who arrive first time. More anticipation needed on the perfect display of shops and exits. As the marking doesn't give the full clarity.
Worse shopping centre for mums with strollers. Only 2 lifts to get from level to level and they are at opposite sides of the shopping centre. Lifts are always cramped full of people who don’t move.
Excellent one stop place for a wide range of shops , restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, utility shops, clothing , jewelry and many more. Located adjoining Parramatta station. Parking available.
Very nice for shopping, places to sit & eat. Personally for me is overwhelming but I needed to go to NSW Fairtrading. I walked around for sometimes. I prefer the calm, not the noise & music.
Wide variety of shops with easy access to public transportation. The entry form parramatta statio. Is well designed. The shopping centre is vast with a good mix of shops and food outlets.
Nice place, easy from the train station. Plenty of eateries which gives a variety of food options. I somehow feel I need to revisit more as the last visit timed out early then expected.
Nothing much but I’m so impressed with one lady who clean woman‘s toilets in foodcourt on Saturday . There’s always clean. Appreciated!! Cleanliness public toilets I’ve seen before.
Great shopping centre with lots on offer, larger than what it looks like on the outside and you can spend several hours here with clothes shops, food, cinemas and much more
One of the biggest shopping mall in Sydney with lots of shops. Beautifully decorated for christmas too. But the playworld for kids is really small and nothing much to do
Good place. Easy to find shops. Most of the things are avialble. Some places arae expensive so be vigilent on prizes. Most of the banks, shoops are there. Good transport
Which intern designed this shopping centre? It's an architectural mess. Location of stairways are too far away from each other and some pillars always blocking the way.
Placed just by the Parramatta station. Has most of the popular brands available. Event cinemas is also available here. 4 hours of free parking available through W+ app.
Beautiful Christmas display had a lovely breakfast @Urban Jungle Cafe. Food was excellent and very Tasty. Excellent Customer service and the Cafe is beautiful . …
All kind of shops, pharmacy and medical centres are available. Kids play area and kids friendly places . Parents toilets , kids precinct are available. Neat and tidy
Great place for 3 hrs free parking when visiting Parramatta. Excellent variety of shops and eatery areas with a large variety of foods from many nationalities.
You can find everything you need here. It’s a big shopping centre, but also it’s really crowded. It always clean and easy to get there from the train station
Huge mall with lots of retailers to shop in. Shops are spacious. The ANZ bank branch staff (on level 5) are very helpful and efficient with account opening.
Concierge desk provides great customer service. Krishna has gone the extra mile to assist with my inquiry. What a lovely smile he has. Truly appreciated.
Huge selection of shopping with entertainment thrown in. Interesting that a lot of the shops don't open until 9:30am. Clean and bright. Very pleasant.
Great place to shop eat and lots of different entertainment options. Easy to get to on public transport and lots of off street parking available.
Parking has improved, shops are organised and variety has increased over the years, staff is friendly and food court is most spacious than before
Everything about this place is great. Convenience, variety, design all top notch. Good crowd, family friendly and great choices across the board
Found parking quickly. I went to my health fund and audiologist's office and had a bite to eat. All done within 1.5hrs = no charge. All good.
The centre is amazing and has everything and then some. It'd been years since I'd been there. It's evolved so much. It's definitely a vibe.
Very good and very well laid out everything that you would want in a shopping center a much better experience than Westfield at Hornsby
Super nice place to hang around, plenty cafe, restaurant, take away, plenty parking ,right in front of train station and bus stops.
Most unpleasant shopping experience ever. Suffocating without a ray of natural sunlight. What happened to normal markets.
Biggest shopping centre, many great stores wide variety, something for everyone. Ample parking, worth a visit, modern.
Nice mall n best place to pace time n shop. Also you get good food in the cafes n restaurants in side the mall.
The music is horrid, can barely hear my own thoughts. I feel for those poor employees! Otherwise lovely shop.
Absolutely huge, multi level, so many shops, super markets, and department stores. Easy access and parking.
Disgusting looking Unmaintained public area covered in dust in food court level 1 needs better management
The privacy of the parents room are very poor, all the curtains are too small to be fully pulled.
Shopping mall with great accessibility. Plenty parking but difficult to find spots. Good shops.
Shops are great but parking was a nightmare. Spent more time looking for a park than shopping.
I haven't been here for a while. Lots of great new shops. Many food options. Ample parking.
Nice, big and modern mall, a bit difficult to find parking sometimes.
