"The bad Google reviews do not surprise me"
"Didn’t let my 92 year old great grandmother withdraw money/bank cheque made heaps of excuses first they told us that they had a national system failure (they lied because the other people where withdrawing money & we also called other banks to verify this they said there systems where fine) then they told us that we had to leave and that they would call back soon when “the systems were back up” they never did so we went back 1 an a half hours later we spoke to a different person who seemed to be unsure about any system failure and then said that her account was blocked and that we couldn’t speak to the manager because he was ”on the phone trying to figure out why it was blocked” and told us that we had to leave again and they would call in an hour we told them that would like to stay and called security and then they never called back I couldn’t believe they would take advantage of a 92 lady with bad English like this"

The bad Google reviews do not surprise me. I came across Joanna today because my online banking account was locked and I was told to visit a branch in person to unlock. I told her I can’t download Westpac app in my phone a couple times but she still asked me to download, sign in and show her the error. I showed her the text message that I received which instructed me to visit a branch in person. And she asked me to show her the error on mobile banking app, or else, she couldn’t help. How ridiculous! When I insisted that this must be done in a branch, she called the Westpac number, and told me to wait. I waited for more than 40 mins in total while she talked on the phone, calling two times to the same number. She didn’t communicate what she was doing in the beginning until I found out there is a system issue. She didn’t apologise either. This is my first time experiencing this kind of terrible customer service after being with Westpac for more than 13 years.

Highly recommend the finance manager, Pavel Horesh. He assisted us with our first home loan. My partner and I liaised frequently with Pavel mostly via email and face to face appointments. He was very prompt, friendly and professional. Being our first home we appreciated that he was open to questions and provided insightful answers. Thanks to him we worked out a home loan that was most competitive amongst the top 4 banks. We felt he took a personal interest and he went above and beyond to offer us better value. We look forward to doing business with Pavel again.

Go to the St Albans or Caroline Springs branch or if you enjoy getting frustrated and having your nerves tested or having an uncontrollable twitch in your eye every time you walk out then this branch is for you .
Very unprofessional staff. Went there and waited for 65 minutes for my turn to see one of the executive to open a new account. "Oh! You have to make an appointment for some other day for that." The only thing I could not understand till today is that when these organisations advertise for the vacanvies available, the list of requirements in a candidate is longer than the clauses in law book. But none of the list has got anywhere saying, "the main thing we are looking in a person applying for the job is COMMON SENSE".
I had great pleasure opening a company account with Jacqueline :) She was very helpful in making sure my account was setup correctly as there was problems with their online system. We couldnt open it on the first day but she followed up immediately, finalized everything and took the extra step making it less hassle for me. I was dissapointed in the system not being able to arrange my account but Jacqueline gave me the above customer service so i'm happy with the outcome overall.
Despite being a home loan customer with Westpac for quite sometime, I find customer service at this branch appalling. Staff telephone manners are rude and impolite. They are not very helpful to customers and offer no flexibility at all in terms of accommodating customer needs. I suggest staff get trained on their customer service skills and be more friendly and useful.
They never like to give $100 notes. They hold on to them like gold. Got about $1,000 out of their atm came out in all $50 notes. So went straight in and gave it to them asking for $100 notes, they said they only had 3. Huh? Aren’t you a bank? They then asked if I was a customer!
Worse customer service...today I met one of the staff name called Angela regarding my double debit of my last five transactions. She said it’s just system problem And plz call to responding transactions companies to get your money back Not get a fair help
The amount of times I've rung the Deer Park Branch and then their general contact numbers, no one answers the phone. Rings out to voicemail, how can the whole entire bank have no one to answer a god damn phone call. Are you serious?

Worsest services by Pavel Horesh, He discriminated us and under estimated. Did help us with anything. 0 star No communication. He is the worst person for a home loan.
Some staff are friendly (like Jo), most others don’t seem to care at all and are even rude to customers. Avoid if you don’t want to be aggravated or vomit blood.
One of the rude staff to their customer . They opened my account last week and now blocked within 5 days for no reason . No choose westpac ... Cbd is aswm
