"Contrary to what we expected from a beautiful and clean place, unfortunately, the toilets were very dirty and there were not enough toilet paper and they were not taken care of at all"
"Great day trip"
"Great place to stay a couple of nights"
"Nice place, good location for BBQ also easy doable without 4x4 a bit sandy road for 2km only slippery when heavy rain"
"This is a great little place for a day trip/BBQ picnic or even if you’re an inexperienced off roader looking to gain some confidence"
Contrary to what we expected from a beautiful and clean place, unfortunately, the toilets were very dirty and there were not enough toilet paper and they were not taken care of at all. The bins were full and no one had emptied them. We will never go here again and I will not suggest my friends to go there either.
Great day trip. Sites seem to be a little over grown, but given it is a NP site it is ok and all the rain. May need some controlled burning to rid the lantana. Great to wade in the stream to cool off. Picnic area near crossing takes a fair amount of traffic and the toilets show that
Great place to stay a couple of nights. The grass is a little bit long but the creek is really refreshing. There’s quite a bit of traffic during the school holidays (of various types like P plater’s trying their out 4WDs, wanna be motocross riders and day trippers etc).
Nice place, good location for BBQ also easy doable without 4x4 a bit sandy road for 2km only slippery when heavy rain. One Downside - Flies, there are a million of flies. Don't leave anything open during night time! Enough place for 5-7 bigger RV's
This is a great little place for a day trip/BBQ picnic or even if you’re an inexperienced off roader looking to gain some confidence. The road down is dusty and rocky but fun. After you cross the weir there is road to the left that leads to
Drove over 1 hour to get here with my wife and another 4 of my friends, an 11 month old baby, and a little dog. We got down to wheeny Creek on a Saturday, and all of the good spots were taken already. So we found a spot on the grass area on
Does not have "sites" so you camp anywhere as you like. We were there first week of Dec, grass was long and overgrown, lots of insects ... very RAW campsite. Also area had a sour whiff in the air, not sure if it's from the eucalyptus trees
Beautiful riverside spot to camp in a deep valley just off Bells Line. Great birdlife, drop loo's, tables and fire pits. We stayed on a Sunday night in late Oct and was peaceful enough apart from local traffic and dirt-bikers! Take mozzi
nature at is best down here, crystal clear Creek, big old blue gums, birdsong everywhere , several options to set up camp on grassed areas & toilets. it's been a long time since I have actually camped here but driving through & stopping
I love this space, well maintained, very clean toilets, no spiders, flushing water!Lots of garbage bins for rubbish. Easy to get to, beautiful lyre birds roaming around. I'd camp here again, I felt very safe and the scenery was gorgeous.
It is a beautiful forest in a gulley. There’s a creek but also beautiful sandstone cliffs overhanging the water. Before Christmas, there is always beautiful flannel flowers to be seen in the bush on the track heading down to the creek.
Better than expected. Amenities aren't as clean, but is usable. Overall clean. Hope more people are considerate enough to pickup their (and any rubbish they see) on their stay. Preserve this little gem.
Nice drive out, beautiful campsites, not much of a fan of having to park then walk to a camping site but we camped at Cheese Tree so the car was only 5 steps away. Would go again definitely.
Very nice spot for a night or two in a tent. Beautiful surroundings and with the creek right there, no reception and lots of wildlife - making it a nice getaway for switching off.
If you're looking for a quiet and quiet place, it's definitely here. Clean toilets make you feel better. The small river is also perfect for playing in the water in the summer.
Nice campsite, large grassy lawn, hilly with river and bushwalking. Would recommend doing the nearby "Gee Arm South Trail" if you have 2 inch lift 4wd/rock crawler.
Beautiful lush green areas surrounded by tall forests with a lovely creek running through it. No campers or people there when we visited mid-week. Very picturesque.
The setting is amazing. It is truly in a fantastic area. Unfortunately it is regularly filled with trash due to heavy use and many people coming for parties.
excellent camping spot for just yourself or the whole family.next to a creek.fire pits.free camping.very nice and peacefull place to camp or spend the day.
Glass on the ground and toilets in a bad way. The pool was very welcome. Just over knee deep. No running water apart from the river - bring your own.
a fantastic location to visit to escape it all, plenty of room for activities, the sound of the running creek will have you relaxed in no time
Amazing hidden place, best place to pitch a tent by the fire or just Camp out in the car either way this place is a definite must see.
Nice place for day picnic. Toilets were clean as crowds are low due to COVID. If you want to camp, register free with National Parks.
Free camping, toilet and tables, small ford to drive through on the main road. No dogs allowed, short walk from carpark to tent.
Nice camping place just to chill and relax. Only issue was local hoons who were racing up and down the dirt roads at night.
The place has been neglected. Long grass, weeds, and signs posted saying no camping due to dangerous trees More
Nice area but more for camping no campervans. Have to carry all your gear in from limited carpark
Nice place to stay with a friendly chicken around that was hanging around with a baby duck.
Pretty clean but can be a bit high traffic
Restrooms
No toilet seats
Beautiful place. Road in needs repair. Best to wait until road repaired?
Nice area for camping or picnic. Nice and cool with the shade and creek
Pretty nice place. Reasonably remote and convenient to access.
Clean toilets and friendly crowd . Nice campground in the wild

Not much of a campground, might be good for a overnighter.
Great camping ground. Lovely setting and basic amenities.
Such a peaceful place to unwind and relax with family
Toilet facility was poor condition and no wash area.
