"It's one of the best and attractive place for shopping Main reason is a free vast parking facilities Most of branded shops under one roof I recommend much better than medow hall Sheffield One of the best shopping place in whole Leeds and sorunding area, another best thing in white rose is quite room along with a shower, mostly used by Muslims 4 prayer, problem is, this v small place, problem for men and women, plus white rose staff, if someone extend this will be beneficial, free parking always benificial"
First time i've ever been & certainly wont be my last, was so easy to get to this place straight off the M62. Its so much bigger than i was expecting with a wide variety of shops & the food court on the first floor was amazing, so many different eating establishments plus just outside was 1 of my favourites Fridays . There is also a Witherspoons just been fitted out. There's a Cinema outside built on, plus a brilliant Busy Bee's play area for children. This is why we'll be back cannot wait to bring my little Granddaughter with us next time. The shopping centre was so clean everywhere so congratulations to all the staff who work there keeping the standards very high. There's also plenty of places to sit down & rest especially when you've got walking disabilities plus lifts & plenty of escalators to get up & down the 2 different floors. There was also plenty of tributes to our late Queen Elizabeth ll who had tragically just passed away. Just been here again to have a look around the brand new M & S store Wow was absolutely fantastic, so bright & clean the food hall is really big with plenty on offer & there comfortable arm chairs where the changing rooms are. I said this loads of times if men are sat somewhere comfortable then it means there partners can shop & try things on for as long as they want seen it loads of times in America but they even have a TV as well on the wall, but well done M & S another brilliant store.
A shadow of its former self. Many shops have closed. The shops that remain tend to be priced towards the upper end of the market, even the Sainsburys store has lost its cafe (replaced by a Starbucks, because apparently two branches within walking distance wasn't enough). Bus services have been cut leading to the eight-bay on-site bus station being underutilised, and confusingly there are two completely different routes with the same number (9) operated by competing companies! There's no rail station nearby, and the one that's coming isn't within easy walking distance, so unless they intend to install travelators I don't see it being all that useful.
White Rose Shopping Centre offers a diverse and enjoyable shopping experience. The array of stores ensures there's something for everyone, whether you're on the hunt for the latest fashion, tech gadgets, or unique gifts. The layout is spacious and navigable, making for a pleasant stroll. Cleanliness and customer service seem to be top priorities, as the facilities are well-maintained and staff are consistently helpful and friendly. Additionally, the food court offers a decent variety of eateries for when you need a break. Overall, it's a top spot for both shopping and relaxation. Highly recommended for a day out!
Great centre management. I took my highly noise sensitive children during quiet Tuesday (10-12am) for breakfast and shopping, only to be greeted by loud construction noise once we'd sat down with our breakfast. I went to the management suite to let them know what was happening and they were amazing. The centre manager not only stopped the construction but also gave my children gift cards by way of apology. They also made time to listen to my children and made them feel good about themselves rather than a nuisance which is what usually happens! Thanks very much centre management, you made our day!

Decided to have a look at M&S, the new establishment. Have to say the range of food is lovely. Pricey after looking but the quality exceeds most supermarkets which is a sad statement in itself. Parking is never an issue and the food court or street is good. Some of the restaurants could do with pushing healthy options. Od loves to see old style vendors carts or ice cream so there's not just the option for downstairs inside. But I can't complain.
I love going to White Rose Centre as it is a nice day out. Shopping and food are my favourite things, so I am in my element. It's just a shame that there aren't enough shops as almost half of them have closed down. But there is a wide variety of food stalls and restaurants available that cater to everybody's taste. There's also a cinema to finish the evening off in a nice way, I haven't been myself but I have heard good things about it.
Good selection of shops in here. The new M&S which has recently taken over the previous Debenhams store is great, especially the cafe at the top. However, the shopping centre still has plenty of stores which are closed and one side is completely boarded up. Not sure what is going on here but it really distracts from the rest of the centre.
Famous shopping spot at city centre. There’s free parking space, lots of shops such as M&S, Next, Primark and much more.. Cafeteria such as KFC, Nando’s, Costa, Starbucks, chai shop and many More. KFC here is Halal. Mall toilets are well maintained. During winter there’s ice rink! Kids friendly. There’s a cineworld as well
The building was a hub of diverse shops. It has game stores, phone repair services, and a range of dining options, including McDonald's, KFC, and more. If you crave a refreshing treat, bubble tea is also available. It is a bustling place that caters to various needs and offers a straightforward yet enjoyable experience.
Sorry to say not, overally impressed. Limited disabled parking, compared to number of parking bays. Centre staff were very approachable and helpful, yet a centre map on the walls, every so often would be helpful. The download map is next to usless. A very airey well lit place with plenty of goods and variety of outlets.
Charlotte on customer service was very helpful needed to hire a wheel chair advised me to go to Mobility Centre again young girl extremely helpful was able to hire a wheelchair free of charge advised me to book over the Christmas period as they get very busy made the visit so much easier can't praise them enough
Very pretty shopping mall with wide parking …so many retailers including M&S,, Zara Boots,River island,,,Argos ,,etc Food court has a great selection of food,,,(Nando’s,,, KFC,,McDonald’s ,cha-cha chai ..Costa ) Cinemax and lots more to do,, Toilets were very clean as well Christmas decorations were very pretty.
Have been coming for years, love the events they run every so often, dinosaur events ect. Shame a lot of shops have closed down, however still a good range and the mega m&s now is great. Also love the little play area outside for children, only criticism would be that the playground could be a tad bigger
I went looking for a dressy coat for my autumn graduation and I had loads of options to choose from... M&S HM, Zara, River Island, New Look, TU, Quiz just to name a few. Plus, I managed to get my daily 13,000 steps in just going back and forth between the shops (LOL). I loved the experience. …
I like it here. Although smaller than the Meadowhall in Sheffield it’s a nice visit. Lots less traffic and less people, so a lot more pleasant. A good selection of stores and I’ve always found it to be clean and tidy too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for somewhere different to go.
Excellent facilities. Went there with family for Dino trail, spent the day shopping and dining. Was a day out well worth it. Will rate the baby changing room one of the best I have used, it was spacious, clean, had almost everything one would need for a comfortable baby change/feed as a parent
Plenty of stores and shops. Plenty of parking. Incredible queue for Primark but luckily we weren't in it. Very good Sainsbury's store. I knocked off one star because of the officious attitude of some staff in regard to Covid restrictions. The outside pics are of the surrounding landscape.
Day out shopping for my daughter for birthday. Nice place to walk about when quiet. Lots of restaurants both dine in and fast food. Good variety of shops but big section empty. Cineworld and outside play area. Do few different events through the year from santa to lego hunts to owls etc
Visited White Rose on Saturday,10/12, to see the Coca Cola truck. A lot of years since I was last there, Wow I was super impressed by the expansion since my last visit. Although I've not lived in Yorkshire for a long time I will definitely be back soon for a 'real' good shopping day :)
Fantastic family fun at the new ice-ring skating Centre. The new village & outdoor play area with a hood/tent covers over the hole thing!! As it was raining but never damper the Christmas spirit with Beutiful twinkle lights of winter & the tree all lite up ✨ …
I'm not a fan of shopping as a leisure experience, but the White Rose is nice. Not too big. There were a couple of new shops, which was good. Flying Tiger in particular was very good! But one whole section was simply boarded up, which was alarming. I hope the units are soon filled.
I do like white rose through week not been for ages though was very shocked to see so many of the shops empty with a weird boards along the walk way maybe doing them up food hall still good an now a cinema too woo great at least there taking further than just shopping good on em
Reminds me of the York Designer Outlet. Spaced out, beautiful layout, and lots of stores in it, The toilets are well maintained and very clean. This is my second time here, and I intend to return another day to spend a full day browsing the shops, eating, and watching movies.
If you like shopping it's for you. I particularly liked The Village. I had taken my 87yr old dad and we sat outside Bianco for a long time with a cocktail or two, chatting n people watching. You can even fit a film in, if you have time, because there is also a cinema there.
Awful experience. I last visited about ten years ago and said I wouldn't go back. Should have taken my own advice and gone into town instead. Unlikely to visit again for another ten years. Don't go on a rainy weekend in school holidays especially... it will be carnage.
Nice shops. Lots of restaurants. Like the dinosaur hunt been kicked out for skating before but was fun. Security are friendly. Many busses to and from here good for a day out. Go to the cinema go to get some food ( not McDonald's the que is too long ) yeah! …
Absolutely loved my experience here ❤️ They have a dedicated baby section with diaper changing facilities, play area, nursing cubicles conveniently located next to their food court . Easily accessible by bus and it has tons of shops , eating joints, coffee shops.
An out of town shopping center. Not huge so it can be covered in about one hour. Very clean with a relaxed atmosphere. Has a good selection of the national retailers, food hall, cinema and restaurant chains. Extensive car park with free parking.
My daughter fainted today at White Rose. Omar and Tony, who were the first aiders did a fantastic job at reassuring my daughter and making sure she was able to have a quick recovery. I would like to say a big thank you to them once again.
Great place for cinema and to eat but not a lot of shops, if you want shopping with a lot more variety I would recommend going into Leeds City Centre or going to Meadowhall as you will have a lot more options for your wear needs
Plenty of parking as several car parks. Some good shops. A shame that so many units are empty. Good photos of shops on the side that has empty units. Too bad the pic shops are not real as they look good - a bakery a library .
Was an awesome experience shopping there as a good selection of stores and things to buy. The only downside of it is the choices for food when there but there are a few opportunities but not many compared to other places.
Visited White Rose around 2p.m. on a Friday and it was not too busy at all. Quite a few shops closed down towards the bottom end where the new M&S is. Lots of shops to choose from still and loads of nice places to eat.
Excellent shopping centre equipped with a modern interior as well as trusted shops. It is a really awesome place because of the number of activities possible as well as all kinds of shops, cinemas and restaurants.
Not bad. Food stalls were overpriced as expected. Main complaint was the play area for little kids was a bit lacklustre and short on actual activities, especially for kids with sensory/special educational needs.
Can't believe how many empty shops there was. Ok if you are wanting food, drink or entertainment but shopping wise didn't spend anything. Think it will be a quiet Christmas and even more shops closing next year.
It's a bit dirty and very busy. Please ask Sainsbury's to wipe down their self checkouts once in a while. We asked for something to clean it ourselves and we were told 'it will be fine'. Thanks Sainsbury's.
Lovely place to go on a cold wet day not too big good choice of places to eat good disabled access throughout and not lots of empty shops like some other shopping malls nice atmosphere …
A great place to shop. Everything under the same roof. Free parking is a good benefit. Lots of food places to eat. You can hire buggies for children which keeps them entertained so you can shop.
My town does not have decent shopping centre so it ideal for me. 30 minutes down the motorway. Loved it. Will you please open a leather handbag shop, could not find a bag in leather anywhere.
Acres of parking, bus station, fuel station, and a very good selection of retailers. Best of all is the choice of bars and restaurants outside including a Wetherspoons and a Lounges bar
Very small selection of shops now. Large sections are empty with micro businesses in the middle of the walkways. It's still clinging on there just, but is a shadow of its former self.
I feel the White Rose centre has improved a fair bit in the past year. Loads of food options, some great shops (the new M&S is amazing) and much more variety in what's there. Great!
Love the food court and cinema bit. Quite a few closed empty shops now. Why not get the stalls in the middle of the walkway moved into the empty shops in like a market stall area?
Nice shopping centre, the layout of the Sainsburys was odd. Car parking was tight but ok. Only complaint was the temperature inside was way too warm for your typical day.
White Rose Shopping Centre is very modern-looking. It has many shops such as Primark, Argos, Boots, ect. If you want to go out shopping and you live nearby come here!
Great place . Well serviced by Buses . Lower carbon footprint. Excellent shopping experience. Lots of activities. A playcenter for young kids. An extravaganza indeed.
Had a great day! My son loves travelling from Lincolnshire to go to the Leeds shop! 6 hours of shopping and food, coffee and treats....we'll be back …
Went to Build a Bear for Granddaughter's birthday and it was brilliant. Staff were amazing with her and she loved it. Such a great idea for a little one.
Good range of shops and cafes. The new M&S is well laid out with a great food hall. Didn't use cafe but it was busy. Plenty of food outlets upstairs.
Great for late night shopping. Good variety of shops plus restaurants & cinema. All with free parking. Payable electric vehicle charging available.
It's okay but needs more variety in shops.. The new M&S is okay, the only down fall is there was no staff to ask about any products. So didn't buy
An OK selection of shops, but that is a personal choice. Food selection is great though and I love the Cineworld here, as includes an IMAX screen
Lovely shopping centre which is nicely decorated. Have a selection of good shops, eateries, and spacious parking! One of my favorites in Leeds!
everything you need all in one place free parking food and drink cinema and sometimes a themed venue, singers amd always a friendly atmosphere.
Nice shopping centre, not too crowded, great for an afternoon shopping trip. Would love it if there were better bus routes from farnley area.
Great atmosphere, as away fan in away end had a good view from my location. Home fans gave good banter and overall good visit and experience
The Works has some good offers on. Sainsburys has offers on clothing. The centre was a but busy, but to be expected with Christmas coming
Great selection of shops. Customer service will not accept cash for vouchers. I find this prejudiced, some community's only deal in cash
Few shops not open. Just boarded over. But a good selection of shopping places. You'll need a while. Free parking is good
Amazing place to go shopping and you've got to give the ice rink a whirl. It's so much FUN. Have a great day everyone ♥️
Had a fun time chasing the dinosaurs, Grand kids loved it. Nice place to visit, plenty of shops and food places.
Nothing left now Debenhams has gone. So many shops lost. Not a very scintillating experience at all.
Good shopping centre. Not the biggest but has plenty of shops, coffee shops and eateries.
Great shopping centre with everything under one roof. Easy access and plentiful parking.
Good selection of shops, easy parking and plenty of choice for food and drinks
